Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast

Pictures alone sold me on booking, but the entire staff and property are a 500% score. Upon arrival, it was absolutely breathtaking and remained throughout my visit! I will be back and stay often .

Great location; garden out front is gorgeous, particularly liked the wonderful smelling jasmine on the gazebo; staff were wonderful and all the breakfast meals were delicious.

Pettigru Place was such a wonderful place to stay during our trip. Our room, The Rosamunde, was so charming! The bed was comfy and everything was nice and clean. Their breakfast was absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely stay again next time we're in Greenville!

The breakfasts were over-the-top Southern hospitality. However, my husband and I don't generally eat sweets and our hostess observed me picking over my cinnamon-toast pancakes (slathered in sugary topping), she kindly offered something more protein-based the following morning. We also enjoyed the common table and conversing with the other guests, and the wine and cheese in the garden was a nice touch. The room, while clean, had lots of artificial flower arrangements that were full of dust (to which I am allergic). I am tall, and I noticed the tops of things were also dusty. The bathroom, however, was spotless.

Pettigru Place is a lovely historical home very close to all the action in downtown Greenville and the Swamp Rabbit Greenway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Wine and cheese every afternoon! Delicious breakfast! Fruit platter, freshly brewed coffee, homemade blueberry pancakes with cream cheese sauce, bacon, with refills offered for everthing as well as an offer for a scrambled egg!! So many details from the beautiful garden as you enter to the artwork on the walls and the beautifully maintained rooms. Both Lori, the owner, and Randy, the hostess, were charming, informative and easy to find!

We liked everything. The property is very beautiful, well decorated and carefully maintained. The amenities were just a plus. Our room had everything we needed to enjoy our stay as much as possible. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The owner was nice making us feel comfortable and special. We liked the breakfast and the way it was served. We had a wonderful time in Greenville.

They strive to have the best breakfast, the food was outstanding. Greeting by the owner, shown the property and the amenity's. The only complaint I had was that it was very bright when trying to sleep. The blind was broken and hard to get completely closed, which allowed light in glass door and the outside lights in the front of the house stayed on which allowed light through that window. I am a light sleeper and I like a dark room. However, I would go without sleep just to get the breakfast, hospitality and other comforts of the room.

Super quaint B and B and very well located for Arena events (1 block away). Self check in option was super easy and the Swan Gate room charming. Late night complimentary water and hot coco (shared Keurig) was a perk. Breakfast was great: full pot of coffee, beautiful laminated fresh fruit, juice, pancakes, apples and a dollop of pumpkin ice cream! Any day that starts with ice cream stays in your memory!! Clean and quiet. Fresh roses was a nice touch and super easy parking. Only suggestion: better quality toilet paper! Oh boy… for the excellence of the stay the T paper was so terrible- thin and rough. First time staying at a B&B. Loved everything there, breakfast was amazing. The host Lori is a very sweet person. Told alot about the history of the house. Met other nice folks from Florida, South Carolina and Georgia. Plan to go back in November for birthday ❤🎈🎊

The stay at the Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast was a once in a lifetime experience. I had never stayed at such a welcoming and comforting place before. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and they created a space where all the guest felt at home. I look forward to my next stay when I'm in Greenville.

This bed and breakfast was AMAZING!! Room was very pretty. Breakfast was Wonderful! Maybe one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. Wish we could have stayed longer. The gardens were so well kept and so beautiful to look at. I felt so peaceful being there.

The place was very enjoyable, the staff were there to meet your needs, the breakfast was delightful. The location was ideal for us, we walked just about everywhere there is parking. Truly a lovely stay! The owner was so sweet and accommodating. She stayed late for me so I could enjoy my wine/cheese later on, and packed me a lovely to-go breakfast when I told her I would have to leave super early the next day. I’m very sad I missed the gourmet breakfast, but she packed me many goodies that made up for it (including a breakfast cheesecake). So I still felt I got my money’s worth, for sure!!! I booked myself the Swans Gate room so I could enjoy a warm bath in the jacuzzi tub, which was super relaxing!!! I enjoyed my stay there alone. I felt very safe and comfortable, as a solo female traveler. So many beautiful unique touches to the place, including a stocked fridge and homemade cookies. Thank you so much! Ps- I enjoyed how walkable the area was... even at night! I was able to walk to a restaurant for takeout and get some things from the CVS.

The property was centrally located and in a lovely neighborhood.The house itself was extremely warm and welcoming. One could spend days there trying to take in everything that has been collected. Food & Service was fantastic. Location good. In room – no dresser for clothing, shampoo but no conditioner, lovely balcony but clean & no light, beautiful comfortable robes.

My wife and I came to Greenville SC for the New Kids On The Block concert. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast. It was a wonderful experience and while our stay was very short , we had a sick Cat at home and had to leave very early missing the breakfast, it was still wonderful. This place is beautiful, each room has its own private bathroom. There is complementary soads in a fridge in the hallway as well has cookies. Again we had to cut our visit short missing the breakfast, but after the very nice lady was aware of that she offers to fix us up a bag of goodies and leave them in the fridge for ourearly departure and she delivered.....THANK YOU for that. And Thank you for helping us with our parking situation (you know what I mean) It was truly amazing how out of the way you went to help us in every way possible. Beautiful B&B with antiques that were thoughtfully picked to suit the room. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was fabulous and there was lots of it! There were cold drinks available in the fridge upstairs and cookies for when we got in late and needed a snack. Great experience!

Lori the Inn Keeper has a wonderful personality and is extremely knowledgeable about everything in Greenville. Her gardens are beautiful as well as the Inn. Lori the Inn Keeper has a wonderful personality and is extremely knowledgeable about everything in Greenville. Her gardens are beautiful as well as the Inn. We biked the Swamp Rabbit Trail from here, & downtown is just a few blocks from Pettigru Place. Pettigru Place is an excellent property. It is very warm and inviting and everything you need is provided. The rooms are small but beautiful and the decor is perfect for the venue. Susie was a wonderful hostess and made sure our every need was met.

This is Greenville's only bed and breakfast and an amazing one at that. Lori, the owner, is incredible and goes above and beyond on so many levels; wine and cheese are ready for you upon check-in, the breakfast is superb (check out the pictures!), and each room is tastefully appointed (bubble bath included) half of them with adjoining patios. There are 130+ restaurants less than 2 miles away and you can easily walk into downtown. Lori is happy to give recommendations for hiking, food, or day excursions. I'm looking forward to coming back.

From our welcome by Laurie with cheese, crackers, fruit, and wine, to our send off with staff taking our picture in front of the house, they went out of their way to see to our needs. One of our group became ill and needed to just rest in bed one afternoon. The staff jumped right in to see that she was made comfortable and that her needs were met. The location is just perfect to run in and out of the downtown area for shopping, theater, and restaurants. Laurie made suggestions which turned out wonderfully. The inn is beautifully appointed. The den allowed for all 4 couples to be together and catch up on the latest news. Each couple loved the room of their choice. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and luxurious. I loved my bubble bath in the clawfoot tub and the candy corn cookies. Each morning our breakfast was over the top. I think our favorite was the fruit tart on the first morning, although the Banana Pudding French Toast was a close runner up. All in all, this was the perfect setting for a get-together with old friends.

This is a very nice B&B with some interesting history. Our host Lori was excellent and made us feel welcome. The B&B is within walking distance to downtown (Main Street) and restaurants and entertainment.

Gourmet breakfast was served based on our schedule and wine and cheese was available in the late afternoon. Lori, the innkeeper, ensures all your needs are met and is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. You will not be disappointed staying at the Pettigru Place.
