La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greenville Woodruff Rd.

Arrived to find dust, dirt and sticky goo on the floor and long black hairs in the bed linens. Also, the door jamb to the bathroom was split and one of the screws to the jamb plate was sitting on the desk and we found an empty water bottle under the edge of the bed and a used dental flosser on the floor. When I went to the desk the night clerk was kind and gave me new linens but did not offer help to have them changed, take away the soiled ones or offer any sort of discount for our troubles. The next day, no one came to clean the room, provide fresh towels, etc…. When I checked out I was also billed for a bottle of water from the store by the desk despite not ever buying one. I did get a refund for the water bottle but regarding the rest, was only given a website to contact management to lodge a complaint so they could “make things right”. I submitted details of all the issues with pictures and nobody bothered to respond. It’s a newer hotel that looks decent on the outside but it is not well managed and dirty on the inside.

The room had a weird smell as soon as I walked in. The bathroom was very dirty. Mold in the shower, the shower floor was brown, and a mystery sticky scum in the sink. In the morning, the cleaning crew knock on my door at 9 am when check out was at 11. They came back and knocked again at 10 am. The elevator was small and there was only one in the whole building. It wasn’t a bad stay, I just don’t think they were prepared.

Nice place to stay. We’ve been repeat guests here and enjoy it.

The tv channels were terrible.

The only thing I didn’t like was the deposit system although you do get it back .if you book with booking.com and want to buy a couple extra days you have to repay your deposit again and it’s a inconvenience

We arrived at 9:00pm with two toddlers after driving for 13+ hours. we checked in quickly and got to our room. there was cigarette ash on our comforter. popcorn on the floor. bathroom trash was filled with trash and the floor and counters were not wiped down. with no other options we had to stay in this hotel.

They require an extra $150. fee to cover for a person tearing up the room that they will give back only after they have had a thorough inspection after you check out. Poor tasting small breakfast selection! Tiny room bathroom. Our room had Vinyl flooring only throughout; no carpet! Would not recommend!

Staff was very upbeat when checking in. Breakfast was better than l expected for a hotel breakfast. Eggs and sausage was available - not just carbs. Fruit would have been nice. Room darkening shades were awesome.

It was a great stay here. The beds slept great and the staff were super friendly.

The staff were all very nice. However, the room was disgusting. There was popcorn under the bed, food crumbs on the floor, there was a weird oil on the bed and night stand, sort of some kind smudged all over the walls. It was pretty nasty. The toilets barely flushed.

It is a shame that such a new facility would not have better cleaning standards in the guest room and gym. The trash can was overflowing the in the gym, and there were no towels in there. The guest room's floors were dirty. There was pink bacteria all around the shower edges. The countertops needed wiping as well.

This hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and the location was safe and convenient to everything we needed.

Stopped here overnight on a road trip so I wasn’t there for very long but it was a convenient and comfortable stay. The hotel had a lot around it when it came to food and shopping and such. The room itself was satisfactory. It was clean, quiet, and felt safe. I would have been content staying here even if it had been a longer stay. Staff was friendly upon check in and check out.

This is a recently remodelled hotel. Unfortunately, not all of the rooms are ready for occupancy, and the hotel management is renting the rooms knowing full well that problems exist. We were given a room with electrical problems. The microwave and refrigerator did not work. Two staff members came up to look into it, and tried to convince us that the refrigerator turned on when plugged in to a nearby outlet. I checked and the refrigerator still did not work. One of the staff members indicated that wiring problems were not an isolated problem. We were offered a room next door. The new room did not have electrical problems, but the toliet seat was not secured to the toliet with bolts. I would never patronize a hotel like this one if I knew the rooms had problems that interfere with normal use of the room.

No negative I have on today. It was the breakfast egg for cold.

When I arrived, they did not have the King room that i reserved, but the Queen room wasn't horrible BUT there was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower and the toilet wasn't clean. It was super late and so I asked the front desk the next day if they could have house keeping come to the room at some point when they service to ensure that they kindly give those areas some additional attention. I was gone all day and when I returned, the room had not been touched. So I was disappointed to say the least. When i stayed previously it was a similar situation, but I didn't say anything because i was only there for a night. Im a stickler for details and things being clean and sanitary. They missed the mark both visits.

The people working at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful. I’ll recommend La Quinta to anyone visiting Greenville!

I stayed there twice, great location, it’s kind of hidden back but not far from all the great restaurants and shopping areas.. Staff is always friendly and polite, they always greet you with a smile. Fresh baked cookies and good hot breakfast.. Will definitely book again..

Nice room. LVP floors throughout. Great room darkening shade. Comfortable king bed. Good water pressure in shower. Shower doors could have been cleaned more thoroughly and there was some hair on the floor which was not ours. Hot breakfast was less than desirable. Fake watery eggs, ran out of bacon within first 1 1/2 hours with no other meat available, had to ask for OJ, pastries and yogurt to be restocked.

1. I called customer service to inquire about an early check in and was advised I could check in early. When I arrived I was told I could not check in early due to room availability. The receptionist checked with room service and was able to get me a room. There was miscommunication between customer service and what I was told but it was corrected. 2. We were placed in a room on the 1st floor. It’s very loud with guests frequenting the area which is quite annoying. Also I’m not sure what was going on in the rooms above us on the 2nd floor but people were jumping, running and making a lot of noise. Due to this alone I won’t be staying here again. 3. I was charged for my stay and deposit upon checking in just like any other hotel. They tried charging again the next day for my stay. I reported it to the front desk via a call from my room and was told by Maralinda that the manager would contact me. I was not contacted. I went to the front desk to follow up on my inquiry as to why they were trying g to double charge me and Daniela was great in assisting me and following up promptly to let me know what occurred. Apparently it was a system error and they corrected it. Thank goodness I had my money in a separate account or funds would have been taken out and I would have had to wait on a refund WHILE VACATIONING. I won’t be returning.

I asked to change rooms, but the second room was not any better. The lamp was broken and the room had a terrible smell like rotten milk. Because of these conditions we decided to leave the hotel. I booked through Expedia and contacted them for help, but they did not resolve the situation and I did not receive a refund. Be aware when booking with Expedia and staying at this La Quinta Inn by Wyndham. Because of this experience, we ended up sleeping in the car that night until the next morning when we finally found a clean and comfortable room at Holiday Inn.

Property as great. Room was clean. You have got to do something about how hard the doors shut and how much noise is made. You can hear anyone on your floor going in and out at any hour.

The room was in good condition and felt clean. The receptionist at check in was very nice. We had an incident in breakfast room when a big dog was sniffing on my elbow while i was eating. (I'm severly allergic to dogs and many other things)also seeing a worker petting it whith his bare hand, then touching the coffee items I think is not sanitary. Also found dirty coffee cups on the counters and a dirty coffee station wasn't pleasant to find the last day I was there. I should've stay somewhere else.

Our first room had a shower that didn’t work, phone didn’t work, electrical breakers were off for about 1/3 of outlets and appliances. Rose at the front desk got us moved to a different room where everything was fine. Should have been checked first as it was not great to have to pack up again and move at 11pm.

Staff was super nice but my bathroom had lots of someone else’s hair in the shower on the wall and on the floor which makes me think it was not cleaned . The doors slam so hard and loud which made it hard to sleep. Breakfast there was almost no food , cups, coffee or stuff to even make the waffles. This was at 7:30am . What was there looked awful ! Defiantly won’t stay there again!

This was a bummer. Place seemed pretty clean and fairly new, but I checked into my room at 945 pm, went back to car for more stuff, then key to room no longer worked. Back to desk for another key, back and forth several times, door just would not open! The evening manager was unable to get into the room, and I had my dinner and several valuables in there. Long story, short, it took 2 hours to get back into the room to get my stuff! Someone finally showed up who could help me, and I understand things break or malfunction sometimes, but I didn’t appreciate the lack of urgency from the evening manager, who did a poor job communicating with me about what was going on to fix the problem. Not being able to get ahold of someone else who could help me was a problem!

Front desk service is a little slower than most and there was hair left in the shower and sink area, but overall it's not a bad place for the price with decent breakfast, comfortable beds, upgraded nicely, and safe/convenient.
