Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenville-I-85 & Woodruff Rd by IHG

After a seven-hour drive, we arrived to find no visible hotel signage, ongoing construction, and very limited parking. We were not informed in advance about renovations or restricted access to amenities like the pool. The price charged ($627.92) did not match the $582 I was quoted through Hotels.com, and cash was not accepted, requiring an additional trip to the bank. We also booked a suite advertised with a jetted tub, which the room did not have. The hotel and staff were very nice throughout our stay, the breakfast was very average just things you can buy at a store or gas station. Overall, the experience was misleading and disappointing.

The fact that I paid through a 3rd party, whenever I got there the receptionist said my card didn't go through. I explained what happened. Gave her my card. The next day, I have a charge for well over 700.00. I went down, said they would get it straight. Went to bed, the next morning, looked at my bank statement, another charge or 629.00. Went down again, nothing. We'll, it caused my bank account to go into overdraft. My husband, and my daughter, and me, traveled to Greenville SC, for a conference. 4 days we were stuck, couldn't really do anything we planned to do. I called corporate, the representative told me she would reach out to the receptionist, they would make it right. Everything would be handled by 8:am. Well, this was our final night. Got down to the front office, they asked my husband, how was the stay? He was like, it was ok. I said no, it was horrible. The clerk, was nonchalant. So, from Sunday- Thursday nothing was resolved. The only thing that was given to me was a 75.00 overdraft fee. I was highly disappointed. I feel as though, some how, they could have given me money, to make it right. I will never, stay at this place again. They also failed to mention, they had renovations going on.

I messaged someone and asked them if they could do Something special because this was for my parents getaway and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. So incredibly thankful for the amazing staff! They placed roses and made towel animals etc. it was an amazing surprise for them!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to experience the property properly. When I arrived, I had issues right away—I was directed to a different address even though I was already at the correct location. I had to cancel, and until now I still haven’t received my refund. The owner is not responding. I am very dissatisfied. I had the same issue mentioned above: I was sent to a wrong address, had to cancel, and I still have not received my refund. The owner is not answering, and this situation caused a lot of inconvenience.

The staff was great, everytime you went out the door there were people hanging out on the side of the building that were guess. I was visiting my granddaughters and this made us uncomfortable going in and out

The breakfast attendant was so very pleasant. I cannot remember her name but she was an older black lady. Very friendly, very attentive, give that lady a raise!!!! She was the same each morning we came down and I truly appreciated how she took her job serious with providing customer service. My husband I told her we would be back to see her! I have nothing negative about my stay!

The room was very spacious for two queen beds. There was a lot of storage and nice lighting. The room was a cozy temperature, the best were comfortable, and there were so many pillows to choose from. Honestly, I think this will be our go to hotel in Greenville if we happen to not need a kitchen. Also, there's a heated pool. My daughter's favorite amenity.

The convenience to restaurants and the staff were amazing. Checked into hotel room that hadn’t been cleaned by housekeeping yet. Housekeeping was lovely and let us know. They had to spend the first 20 min of our check-in cleaning our room. My mom is elderly and handicap so they let her sit on the couch while they cleaned. That was really nice. There was some kind of substance across the ceiling. There were also stains on the couch.

The pool wasn’t quite as nice as we expected, but we still enjoyed it. The room was a little too narrow, and the AC didn’t feel like it cooled the room down quite enough.

Our room looked like the housekeeping came straight off a Disney cruise ship. The toilet paper was rolled into cute little bows and rosettes and the shower curtain looked like a flowing gown. We've stayed at this same hotel 3 times now and each time it has been remarkably clean. The staff is always helpful and kind and the breakfast is phenomenal!

The staff working breakfast were true ambassadors to the property and company and absolutely unforgettable. This was our second visit and they are just outstanding people who exude all things positive to contribute to a best possible stay. In our book of stays I’m multiple hotels this past year, they win Employees of the Year! No comment.

This was a weekend away with our grandchildren. The cleanliness of the hotel was wonderful. The staff at check-in were very accommodating and let us check in early. The kids enjoyed the pool very much, which was also very clean and well stocked with pool towels. The breakfast staff was amazing and very friendly. The food was also very good. Everything was so clean and fresh. Miguel at check-in was so friendly! Room was even larger than expected, and beds were very comfy! We did not have time for breakfast, as we were meeting family for brunch, but the coffee was very good!

This was a nice stay. If the equipment in the gym worked it would have been five star stay. Both treadmills were down. I called the front desk they stated maintenance wouldn’t be in until Monday. Sanitizer wipes were out. That’s gross considering the sweaty conditions and multiple uses without some sort of sanitizer.

The hotel was a little tricky to find. There is a large sign on the road, but if you don’t turn at the sign there doesn’t seem to be a direct path through to it. It is behind some other businesses. But our stay was great. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very well maintained the rooms where clean and everything provided was re stocked every morning..the front staff at check in and check out where fantastic and quick to answer any questions we had and the dinning staff at breakfast where also wonderful warm and kind in the morning and didnt hesitate to help us if need be..

The reason I rated this stay a fair was because of no water on Saturday. It was very disappointing. We had to fill bath water up to flush toilets. We drove 10 hours and to not be able to take a shower the next day was unbelievable. The staff was very friendly. The kitchen ladies were fabulous. Breakfast was amazing.

Staff was great, and very accommodating however, our room was right by the restrooms and dining area so in the mornings there were children screaming and running around. The AC unit also seemed to make a strange noise. We also seemed to be unable to connect our TV to streaming services but overall it was a good stay, and we’d return.

The hotel was perfect. Very clean. My wife is picky. What stood out was the indoor pool was clean and actually heated. Had both of our Granddaughters and they had a blast. Secondly the free breakfast was great and the dining room hostess was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Especially to the kids.

The location was convenient and made getting around easy. Overall, it was a smooth, hassle-free stay, and I’d definitely consider returning for future trips.

This hotel is close to at least 3 restaurants that you don’t have to cross the street to. Movie theater across the street. I would stay here again.

What this property makes more attractive is that it has an indoor pool, although it’s occupied by many kids. I haven’t tried breakfast yet, it should be good. 👍
