Parking was easy, staff very friendly, cookies on arrival and a nice breakfast in the morning.

Room was clean, the cookies in afternoon were delicious! Staff was great.

A nice stay, the employees were great. Elevators a little slow, and did not take advantage of the breakfast. Great location to both Main Street and the museums. Parking was also convenient and easy and I appreciate that it was included in the hotel room price. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Greenville.

We arrived early, room wasn't ready but check in staff gave us a parking (on site) pass so we could leave our car and walk to downtown sites. The hotel was spotless, and dog friendly. She gave us a welcome bag with bottled water and a treat for our pet. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The free hot breakfast was more than enough to get us on the road without having to stop elsewhere to eat. Fresh ground coffee 24/7 was appreciated.

Liked the staff and rooms. My concern is that we saw enough dogs to start a kennel. From start to finish. I know businesses have to embrace a "pet friendly" attitude. To me, it appears the pendulum swung too far the other way. I don't hold anything against this facility because businesses have to follow trends to stay afloat.

Easy to get to, very clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a standard room with a king size bed, which was set up very nice. The shower was nice and the water got warm and hot very quickly. There was a full breakfast buffet available, which varied a little bit day by day. Lots of items available to eat and drink. The dining area was nice and lighting was bright. I stayed here seven nights and will likely come back here again if I come back to Greenville.

Downside was the tub drain is clogged in room 510. We awoke at 2 am with the AC off. It was stuffy and hot. I had to fight to get it going.

The room was clean and had good water pressure. The morning continental breakfast was one of the best ones I've had! Chocolate milk for the kiddo too! Thanks to Julia at the front desk for a friendly check-in.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday inn Greenville and I can honestly say the experience exceeded my expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I felt safe and the room was clean. It’s the perfect location if you are attending an event at Bon Secours wellness arena, it’s just a short walk to the facility. Breakfast was delicious and the attendant was very efficient making sure there was plenty of food for everyone and cleaning tables as soon as people got up. I always had a parking spot in their lot. And most importantly the staff made me feel like family

The location was very quiet, clean, and within walking distance to downtown. The best thing for my reasons of staying was I-385 right off the highway from this hotel. The room was very comfortable (especially the bed) and clean. Amenities: they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower, and hand soap, lotion at the sink. Hot water available when showering every time! The complimentary breakfast was good, fresh, and plentiful. They have pancakes instead of waffles, better and way easier to make.The staff I interacted with during the stay was Nathaniel and Brooklyn, who were awesome! Nathaniel welcomed not just myself but other folks attending the same convention. His character, his smile, his concern to help us: warming and appreciated! Brooklyn went out of her way to accommodate me, basically saving me time I did not have that morning. This was indeed the BEST HOLIDAY INN & Suite I’ve ever stayed at! The 24-hour coffee bar and hot water station for tea… awesome! I will return when I’m in that area! Just FYI: There is a restaurant called the Genza Buffet on Woodruff right off I-385. It is Buffet Heaven! Taxes included $21.53. I went on that Sunday! The bar is unbelievable and it was stocked! All you can eat seafood, crab legs included ( sushi although I don’t eat that me

Great location park your car for your stay to all the attractions downtown. I repeat do not try to drive downtown look for parking by the time you do your vacation is over. walk a block and a half to all the stores and restaurants take a break and after that enjoy Reed River.

Clean room and great service. Breakfast was standard, with normal selections you would find elsewhere. Parking was available and free of charge. The echo and noise carried in the hallway was high, to the point that you would hear people whispering outside the room, so bring some earplugs if you want to rest.

Great location to be able to walk downtown to a variety of restaurants and shops. Our room was ready for us and it was very clean. They do not have soap bars in the bathroom but they have soap in containers along with lotion, I like that because the counter stay cleaner. You can hear some traffic noise but does not disturb your sleep. The only real complaint and it’s an important one to those of us who do not like Hard beds, to my husband and myself the king size bed was very uncomfortable! A pillow top would have made our stay great! The Breaskfast for Saturday and Sunday (weekend) was a great variety of food, eggs, sausages, potatoes, gravy, French toast, cereal, cinnamon buns, muffins, danishes, toast, you get the idea the selection was wonderful. They have available all the time coffee, hot tea regular and decaf, and hot Chocolate. The pool was closed for the season. The work out area was nice to have. The staff were very helpful in answering our questions about downtown. Oh and the special treat set out for everyone on Friday night because it was Halloween was Candy! That was a nice touch.

I loved this place! Free parking, lovely staff in every way, scrupulously clean, free breakfast and you’re RIGHT ON the famous Downtown walk with restaurants, shops & best of all, the beautiful park a water falls. I walked to a great resistant, Rainier’s a mile up the street. Will return to this HHIE again!

The General Manager Rodney Brown was an exceptional host. He went above and beyond to ensure that the two rooms we reserved were located next to each other, and were clean & comfortable. He was very helpful with information and directions to make our visit to Greenville the best!! Will definitely stay there again!!

Although we were not intending to use the pool, it was disgusting just to walk past. It looked like green jello. There were no signs stating that it was out of order, which would have made sense. If I had brought children to this hotel, I would be angry because the children would have been extremely disappointed to not have this amenity up and running.

The stay was amazing. My husband and our two children had no issues with our stay. It was close enough to the plaza area where we could walk and grab some food without needing to drive everywhere.

ROOM HAD A WET FLOOR AND WAS VERY MILDEWY SMELLING. AN AIR PURIFIER (NOT DEHUMIDIFIER) WAS PUT IN ROOM AND IT RAN THE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE BUT DID NOT HELP ODOR. THERE WERE SUPPOSEDLY NO OTHER ROOMS. NO DISCOUNT, OR COMPENSATION OF ANY KIND WAS OFFERED.

We loved the accessibility to downtown and the free parking. Our room with a King sized bed was on the small side as compared with other places we have stayed, but everything worked well, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast selections for the hot bar were limited, and the food seemed to originally have been prepackaged. Staff was friendly and very outgoing. A good place to stay downtown, especially if you are on a budget

Staff was excellent.very friendly. Unfirtunately i needed to use the printer for work and after three days tbe staff still couldnt get the computer to connect to it. Very frustrating.

Very nice hotel close to Main Street. It was farther from Falls Park than I thought but we walked around a little.

Staff was friendly. Room I booked wasn’t available they overbooked. Had to change rooms . Parking is in the bank and walking around the building at night as a female is not the most comfortable . 2/4 towels had stains.

I like staying at this property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property, but everything is satisfactory. My only complaint is you can hear people talking in the hallway and in adjoining rooms.

Julie at the front desk was very friendly, took my number and called when the room was ready. (Arrived early). Was able to give easy directions to the music venue. First time there and will not be the last.

The shower badly needs updating. There was a musty smell to the room. Perhaps from the a/c unit.

The mattress needs to be replaced in room 105, it’s not firm and feels like it’s sinking in the middle and it “creeks”. I could hear constant noise from the upstairs area (not really sure what it is) - but it’s a nascence. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the property.

But IF a concrete slab is something you are good with, this hotel is exceptional. Its location is awesome with easy access to shopping, restaurants, the highway to Raleigh & Durham. I’ve never stayed at a Hampton that didn’t have a wonderful bed, until this one, and all I can say is; I sure hope y’all fix that issue… Room 320 needs a bed, not a concrete slab!

The hotel was at a convenient location to be able to walk Main Street to check out the shops/restaurants. Walked to Reedy Falls Park and walked along the river and across Liberty Bridge. Parking was included and had no issues. Also, this was one of the better breakfasts provided - warm cinnamon rolls, pancakes, french toast, omelet and potatoes, along with other breakfast necessities. My husband and I are not coffee drinkers but they provided white and chocolate milk to drink - which was appreciated.

We had fantastic experience with checking-in (THANK YOU, Rhianna!) This hotel's location couldn't be better to walk to Greenville downtown but yet - it's in the "quiet zone". Very nice place to stay...but some upgrades are needed as you can see it's aged. Overall - highly recommend.

Check - in, the hotel was in the process of twitching to a new system so things didn't go well. Person at counter with trying to get someone checked in but was having difficulty so we were ignored and check-in delayed. Our room was a king with a sitting area. The tv was mounted in front of the bed and the couch was over to the side. In order to view tv from couch (main reason I wanted sitting area) you had to bring tv out on the mount and turn it to the far right. Then the couch had to be turned to see it properly. The bathroom, the toilet was slanted to the right and rocked back and forth when you sat on it. The bathtub had rust at the front near faucet. Design of bathroom not well thought out. The bed, it felt like you were lying on a box spring. We checked and it was a mattress with a mattress topper but very hard. Breakfast, the food (eggs and French toast) was cold. The juices tasted like they were watered down. Hotel entrance, there was a paint can sitting outside at the entrance with a caution sign over it. It sat there both days. While we were out we received a call from the hotel asking if we wanted to stay a second day. We told them we had booked two nights. They asked if we could send them our confirmation. We found it and called back and they said if had been sorted out. When we returned to the hotel we found that our card key had been turned off so we had to go down to get new ones. During our stay the staff was polite. The location was the best thing.

Great location as very walkable to downtown. Mattress needed to be replaced. Bathroom was roomy. Room was large. The wall thermostat did not control the temperature. There should have been a note to go to unit under the window. Froze the first night.

I called and got hung up on by multiple employees. The hotel I stayed at had absolutely no heat and it’s winter time. Everyone failed to resolve the problem and I was disrespected in the process.

Overpriced for the hotel condition and amenities but the staff was very friendly. You need to clean the carpets in the rooms. Our socks were very dirty after walking around the room. Also our tv never worked correctly. Channel information wouldn’t show and to turn off the tv we had to unplug it.

Room was fairly clean, some things need to be updated on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet. Love the microwave and fridge in the room. Beds aren't the worst I have slept on. Would stay again.

It was good. Was able to stay the one night and then hotel is willing to work with me on hospital schedule and move the other day, but only if you all at hotels.com will call them and agree to move the night next.
