We pulled into the parking lot and instantly felt unsafe. We didnt even get out of the car.

The rooms were pretty disgusting.. there was blood on the door frames in the bathroom… and the walls weren’t very clean either.. Instead of being called the Budget Inn, it should be called the low budget inn. It reminded me of a homeless shelter.

Holes in the walls doors falling off the hinges shower head tied on with grocery bag ambulances all night fighting at 7 am doors slamming the rest of the tentants was exceptionally loud broken beer bottles all over the parking lot bath towels looked like they was drug across the parking lot this place is a slum stay at your own risk

As soon as I got to the property and stopped the car.. 25-30 police cars rushed into the parking lot all at once. Somebody had been shot and they died, just 3 minutes before I got to the hotel. I went inside and the manager informed me that I would NOT be able to check in and stay there because of the incident and to contact Hotels.com to get my full refund for the room.

The staff were super friendly and helpful There were 3 separate shootings on the property

The parking lot was full of drug dealers and cookers. I know this because a drug dealer came up trying to sell me drugs and I said not Interested and then he tried to line me up a hooked. So I stayed up all night watching my truck, its a truck loaded with tools and there's 4 cookers here and I counted 13 people outside dealing because I watched several cars pull up and I watched the drug deals. And then cars pulling in and paying for cookers and going into their rooms for an hour. I guess I will stay up all night and sleep at a rest stop in the morning before heading back to ky. And several people were homeless and tried to bum off of me. This is unreal. Very unsafe place. Except im very strong and could take any of then off the second floor over the rail and ride them down. Some government program paying for their rooms? And its like a drug ring and a prostitute ring. Im going to delete booking .com when I leave here. I work daylight until dark 7 days a week building log homes and have used booking.com for over 2 years. I won't ever go thru this again. Tomorrow is a 6 hr drive home sleepy no doubt.

Room was dirty with carpet not vacuumed. Second night at 5 AM, a stranger African American knock my door and we were scared. We checked out on 19th February instead of 24th February and went to friends home. We must get refund for February 20th to 24th.

It was terrible I think like what messed me up I walked in the room and I was like oh it smells nice in here smell like cleaning supplies but I don't know what got clean cause it was blood stains all on the wall poop stains on the wall cubic hairs in the and under the towels and wash rags

Shopping was limited except gas station convenience stores around the corner. Facility feels old. If all you need is a place to sleep on the way to somewhere else, this will do. I saw a baby roach twice and was assured it was the change in the weather when they are coming in doors but that they would be dealt with. No mat in bathtub therefore quite slippery. Microwave turntable didn't turn. The stay was functional and a decent price.

The room was unprepared, dirty, roaches, and the toilet needs to be changed. The best part about this place is the prices and low deposit which is non refundable. Stay away unless you're low in cash.

Guest has an amp in the room and played music from 11p till 3a. They moved us but we could still here it. Roaches we all over. On the walls ceilings and would crawl on us when we were sleeping. Refrigerator would freeze everything even when we turned it all the way down and roaches were in the microwave. The towles that were given were dirty looking. And the other guest would fight and argue at the top of their lungs around 1 and 2am. Over all a horrible experience and we did not feel safe. There were police there searching for someone and a car ran up in the parking lot being chased then took off

if I could give this establishment a zero star, I would the staff were friendly and that was awesome. However, the bathroom the tub had a dirt ring around it. There were stains on the tub edge. There were cigarette burns on the toilet seat. There were hair on the sink, not to mention that the place needed a good coat of paint. The bedding had burn holes all in it, and I was greeted with what looked to be a family reunion of roaches from floor to ceiling and all over the bed like walking across the bed. It was horrible horrific. I literally walked in and was out in less than an hour. This place definitely needs some bug control immediately before booking other customers.

I got to my room and soon as I walked in I was in disbelief.The floor was so sticky that I had to wear shoes any time I walked around. The floor looked like they just mopped dirty water all over the floor. It was filthy! The door had been kicked in so many times I had to kick it to get it to close and even then there was a huge gap that I ended up covering in tape any time I stayed in the room. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way either. While laying on the bed watching TV I heard a noise coming from the bathroom. That's when I found the water leaking from the ceiling into the shower. The ceiling was falling in and I had to cover the shower head with a towel to stop the noise of the water dripping onto it. I ended up having to go to dollar general to buy wash cloths and soap. For some reason their WiFi blocked my Roku so we were stuck watching whatever we could find on the cable channels. I will say that the beds were comfortable and the AC kept the room nice and cool. Don't stay here!

There wasn't any bugs that I could see, and that's the only good thing I have to say. The doors and walls haven't been cleaned in a long time. Also the smoke detector was on the table with the battery out of it! The floors were sticky, and the sink was stained.

Unsafe conditions. Poorly lit parking lot and stairs to the second floor. Pulled back the top sheet, observed and photographed bedbugs and black debris on the sheets. When I reported the bugs and showed the overnight clerk the pictures I was offered a different room. Rejected the offer. Now Budget Inn will not authorize a refund.

Extremely dirty, had roaches and dirty bed sheets. No toilet paper at arrival. Only stayed one night. but would not recommend. Flowers and lawn maintenance outside was nice and well maintained, if only they put in the same amount of energy to the actual rooms.

This place needs to be shut down. The clerk in the office was extremely confusing, and the entire night I felt unsafe in the area. The place was nasty, and I’m genuinely amazed I made it through the night. I could not wait to leave.

We felt very unsafe, the shower was covered with hair, the door handles dont work properly the light switches were filthy, the toilet wasnt cleaned and i could go on and on, we didnt stay ended up checking out and finding a different hotel. The guy at the front dest was very nice though.

I found Budget Inn on line... I thought the pricing was good but unfortunately that was all...the whole experience was horrible... I had to change rooms 3 times because the rooms were either nasty because it hadn't been cleaned or the heat didnt work... Room 1... the cover on the bed were unmade, like someone had been sleeping in it, bottle caps all on the bed, no clean towels and the bathroom unclean... Room 2... at least the bed was made but the head did not work... Room 3... they had to clean it while I gather my belongings from room 1 but as I was walking to room 3 front desk was bringing out dirty towels and trash...looked like they had to make the bed... the front desk person had to go get towels and toilet paper... when I opened the refrigerator there was still left over food in it... I wouldn't even attempt to shower and I down right refused to sleep under any covers... the next morning I called the office to cancel 3/2s reservation due to the circumstance and room conditions... I was told because I placed reservations thru Hotels.com I'd have to contact them so I did... I was told thru Hotels.com that they'd have to contact the hotelto see if they could refund my money for 3/2s reservatiion but they have a no refund policy which I feel is unfair due to the hotels conditions...

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had someone try to come into the room, the door to the next room was not locked, could hear their cell phone ring. Someone else was giving the neighbors rooms while they were there. We wanted non smoking was given smoking they refused to move us. The room stunk and wasn't clean holes in the wall.

Would not recommend to stay for more than one night. It accomplished the goal of getting a nights sleep but otherwise it wasn’t great. All the outlets were either broken or cracked and I got zapped by one, the sheet had a stain on it and the sink wasn’t even cleaned.

Bad ordor inside the room, bathroom dirty. No quality furniture. The only good thing was the front desk agent. No recommended at all.

The bed was big (king size) but creaked alot. The shower curtain had mold on it. There was no tea bags or sugar in the room.

This place is terrible!! I had to argue with three different people on three separate occasions that I paid for my room for 2 days and that my name wasn’t Micheal Ross. The n the room was old and out dated. Tub and sink where stained yellow, load people outside our door at all hours. Had a lady offer me drugs in the parking lot!!! Got the room for 2 nights and only stayed 1, and they refused to refund my money for the 2nd night.

Nasty nothing drug dealers knocking on my door asking me to let him in to party. I've never been so scared to stay at a facility and they won't refund my money. So I have no choice but to stay another night. Fearful something bad might happen.

I specifically booked a non-smoking room. The room they put me in was in the building that has "non-smoking rooms" according to the clerk. When I walked in the room it was heavily scented with air freshener. I had fallen asleep shortly after I settled into the room. I woke up several times coughing and having a hard time breathing. My nasal passages were burning from the cigarette after smell. Around 3 AM I was annoyed, and burdened by the coughing. I went to the office asking for another room. The clerk said that he couldn't put me into another room until the manager came in. I asked "what time", he replied "8 AM." I pled to him to put me in another room. He said because I had been in the room longer than 10 min. that he couldn't make any changes, that I would have to talk to the manager. At that point I wanted to just cancel my reservation but I had no where to go. I asked if I would be refunded for the night that I don't stay. He replied "no." I booked through a third party site that stated in writing "free cancellation" "no payment needed, pay at property". No cancellation policy rules were stated upon payment. Therefore, I should be refunded for the night I did not stay and I should get my cash deposit back because I did not damage or take any items from the room.

The property owner was very rude me. Nasty, he also took my $50 deposit. The room was clean when I left and there was no trash or anything. Everything was still in contact. He said because I did not have a receipt and he had the other copy, he could not give my money back

This place was dirty and smelled. The toilet had a spray leak and I had to mop up water to be able to use the toilet. I would not stay here again.

The sheets were dirty, shower certain had mold and tv did work..Had wait check in due to check in arguing with person in front of me of deposit. Then checking out this morning fight between owner/manager and customer having to move rooms. It was quit unpleasant experience..also cigarette burns in bedding.

The electricity was out when I arrived so they couldn’t even check me in. Obviously I went somewhere else, but then they wouldn’t even agree to provide a refund when I tried to get it processed through Orbitz.

The men up front were rude and told me the deposit was one price when I double checked over the phone, and then a higher price when I arrived to check in. The room was filthy. I paid for a king, and even though I checked in before I arrived to make sure it was available, they gave me a double instead. Didn't change the price or give any discount nothing for the inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you just desperately need a bed, and a nasty shower.

I was told to get a refund and that they would notify you that they did not have power at the hotel I wasted money someone needs to refund my money this is a state of emergency crisis going on due to the hurricane I need my money back or you both will lose a loyal customer for the misinformation REFUND ME MY MONEY THEY HAD NO POWER!!!!

There place had No power still haven't been refunded false advertising on site hit by hurricane trying find somewhere safe pay for room I was told call get money back that almost over a week ago I paid insurance protection with plan to insure refund if something was to happen

We were not able to check in and my money has never been reimbursed to me. I will not use Expedia or think about a budget inn again. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had and Expedia wouldn’t make it right.

I went online to desperately find a hotel to stay at… the only one available around our area was the Budget Inn in Greenville SC. So I reserved a room from 9/27-9/29. Gathered all of our things needed for those days… We headed there only to get there and there is NO POWER… We never physically checked in/sign any paperwork. We left and ended up having to sleep in our running car for the night… After all this to find out that they still ended up charging us for the room and took the payment out of our checking account 😡😡😡 WHAT?? How can they when we never stayed at the hotel?? They should have either put “no power” or “no available rooms” on their website to avoid people making reservations for nothing!!! There were a few other people that had showed up when we did finding out the same thing 😫😫😫. I WANT A REFUND on a room that we never ended up using!!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed this place doesn't have many good reviews I am here to say it is under new management and it is amazing the rooms are really remodeled and nice the people will work with you the only inconvenience I had was through Expedia and the dates Other than that I would recommend go there

Rooms are cheap and you get what pay for. Areas a little sus but if you need a room just for a night it'll suffice.

The room was the nastiest room I have even seen. Roaches, mold, dirty walls, was proposition may times for Unspeakable things from people staying there. One night we heard gun shots in the parking lot just outside our room. Another night one of the guests had there music beating excessively loud all night. I booked through Expedia and it said they had a pool with a beautiful terrace. There’s nothing beautiful about this place nor the pool because the pool had no water and full of trash. I cried when I found out that I put my family in a non -refundable situation I couldn’t get out of at the moment. But definitely won’t be back and don’t advise anyone to ever stay in this roach infested crack motel. Not only is this place horrible but the owner and staff are very rude. DO NOT STAY THERE!

Terrible. I had to pay an extra $20 becausw they didnt have a king bed, which is what i paid for. And the heater/AC didnt work properly as i couldnt adjust the temperature. I slept at 62 degrees in the room. And the toilet did not flush even after several maintenance requests. Flnally it is ghetto.

The large king size bed was Spartan in it's accompaniments but it was clean and unlike a lot of bargain basement hotel rooms, everything was clean and I did not see any sign of bed bugs.

The rooms are old and the ceilings were dirty, the bathroom toilet was old, and the bed was sitting on the floor with poles under them. Just terrible!!

I stayed one night and i saw two people arrested in the am its super unsafe i was so scared and its not the cleanest bring your own towel and wash cloth
