It was a great place, staff was awesome, and located right in the middle of everything!

Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Loved staying there. My only two negatives are the coffee served was very bitter so we went elsewhere every morning and in the evenings they had a DJ playing in the lobby/bar area which has a lot of hard surfaces that made it echo badly. Coming from a music & event background I’d suggest adding some sound absorbing elements to cut down on the cacophony.

The location to the vibrant downtown area of Greenville, near the restaurants, shops and theatre is fantastic. We didn’t bring our furbaby, but this is a super accommodating hotel and we saw plenty of evidence. I’m not a fan of the bathroom and bedroom sliding door concept currently in vogue. Especially for the bathroom. The lobby is on the 4th floor with a first floor lobby that was not occupied with staff, but young men hanging out late one evening when we returned. Should have told the staff, but it felt like loiterers, not guests and one solo woman coming into the elevator had a look on her face that relayed, don’t leave me alone down here! This lobby is freely accessible to anyone…

Excellent service all the staff was helpful. This is a full service hotel. Modern and relaxing place. Highly recommend if going to Greenville. Not to mention it’s right downtown. Walk outside the door and you’re in the cute downtown area full of shops and restaurants.

I cannot give enough praise for this hotel! Everything was amazing, clean, modern, and the staff even printed out directions for us to attend a wedding in Easley. The views from upstairs were beautiful and it was perfectly located to downtown Greenville, which is such a gem! We will be coming back for a repeat visit.

We enjoyed our stay and it was very clean. It was our first time at Aloft and everything was good except we didn’t realize the vanity area did not have a door (for privacy and quiet) and if you needed the vanity light, it lit up the whole room so it was difficult to sleep in when others got up early. In my opinion it was a design flaw. If you get up the same time it’s fine or if you’re alone but for a family of 4 with different wake up times it was an inconvenience.

It was an interesting choice to have the coffee pot near the bathroom. Choosing to basically have a tall hazy glass pane between the bathroom and bedroom led to a startling surprise when my partner used the bathroom in the night and flooded the whole room with light as a result. Excellent location for getting around, but overall lackluster for the price point.

This property is so pet friendly -- they have treats and toys to share, and the staff were all very engagning with our dog. The hotel and bar staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Parking was attached to hotel and the location for walking, shopping and eating downtown was great.

Absolutely loved the place and the location - convenient to all major destinations in the downtown area and other parts of Greenville. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the close proximity to this property . The staff and the hotel were very nice . Will definitely be back

Everything was PERFECT for our girls weekend. Conveniently located! Extremely safe, clean and lots of places near by for food and shopping. The pool cabana room was SO cool.

Expensive without any significant amenities such as complimentary breakfast nor parking. Rooms small and housekeeping at my location was not good. Had to call and chase down room attendant every day of my 3 night stay. Room coffee maker was sub par as were the bath towels which were flimsy. I, personally, expected much better from the Marriott brand. Rooms were also noisy from slamming doors, even heard next room’s TV.

Came in town for a one night stay, booked a king bed. Our room was right across from the employee storage unit and next to the gym. It was horrible. The storage door was so loud it slammed all through the morning, and you could hear everyone getting their Morning work out in (I'm a light sleeper) And I’m not sure if there was a gym above us too but there was constantly a loud bang that was shaking the walls. The room looked really nice until we laid in bed. on the right side has a massive divot, I’m 5ft. That was one of the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever laid on. My body could never get comfortable with that huge dip and loud nosies. Over all it was super disappointing, I’ve always heard really good things about the aloft so I was excited and I ended up crying to my partner that I just wanted to go home and never come back. We left an hour before our late check out because I was so sleep deprived and so upset.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. A little confusing with parking and access to the fourth floor check in. Elevators for the hotel and separate elevators for the garage.

The desk staff were amazing and most helpful with parking and dining suggestions. The hotel was in a central, downtown location close to restaurants and with easy access to the interstate. I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience. Celebrated our anniversary and staff went above and beyond to help make it a special trip. Location was amazing. We loved all the extra games and activities they had in the lobby.

The property was ok - everyone was friendly, but it seemed a bit dated. The bathroom setup was odd - the fridge is under the bathroom sink, the sink is right by the door to the toilet and shower leaving awkward room there when you stand. Probably wouldn’t stay here again considering that there are so many options in the area. The bed comfort was average.

Great location in the heart of the city. So many amazing places to eat and shop within walking distance. LOVED this hotel and its energy. We arrived on a Saturday night and there was a DJ and dance party happening in the lobby. We stayed on the 8th floor and it was perfectly quiet. Nice size room (Double queen). Great Shower. I will definitely stay again when I'm in Greenville.

Location was perfect - right in down town near several restaurants. It was a little noisy at night due to traffic/events going on outside the hotel, but this is not the hotel's fault. Parking was only $10 a night - you can't find that anywhere today!

Checking was ok. I was a fan of the $50 charge on my account up front. At the end the parking card didn’t even work and we had to call for assistance. The Starbucks handed me a black coffee then said make it yourself which was a little odd. Biggest issue was only having one washrag.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Loved how easily accessible the hotel is to and from the parking garage. Loved the location. Walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment. It was the perfect location for the purpose of our visit. Only issue with my stay involved the facilities (facility) of the room stayed in. The locking mechanism on the bathroom door was missing, so the bathroom door could not be locked. There were no complaints about the issue because it was only my fiancé and myself during the stay, and because of the layout of the room, which I also loved, it was of no huge concern.

Everything was great except for the mattress in the room. The mattresses need to be replaced. You can feel the springs and there was a hole that I kept rolling into. In addition, the shower needs more pressure.

My only issue is that it be a bit inconvenient when one person of your party needs to go to the restroom or get ready, and you have to turn the light on and disturb the rest of your family. (No real separating door to bathroom and opaque window in shower the looks into room, and in turn lets in a lot of light). Everything was great until the early morning of our check out day. We were awoken a little after 7am by a loud alarm saying to stay calm and that the problem would be identified. We heard sirens and saw the fire truck pull up. This loud alarm went on for 13 minutes- continuously. We decided to evacuate and the alarm stopped once we got to the bottom of the stairs. Many people were confused, but there was no follow up alarm or notification. We finally went to the desk to see what we needed to do. The front desk just said “oh an alarm got tripped- it’s all fine now… sorry”. We would have never known if we had not asked, and feel the hotel guests should have been notified about safety after such a loud, long alarm situation, especially one that caused us to wake up, pack, and get out hours before we planned.

This is a very nice property with a great staff and I would have given it a five star review except for one thing… I paid a little extra to stay pool side which did have a great view and it would have been amazing except for the fact that the walls are paper thin and I was assigned room 612 which is right beside of the pool entrance and workout room and the entrance door for both are extremely noisy slamming every minute, waking me up at the crack of dawn. So if you reserve pool side make sure it’s not room 612 unless you’re an early bird.

Great location for various food options. It is loud in the area from street noise etc. so if you are a light sleeper the downtown area may not be for you. Beds were comfortable. Disliked the design when it came to lighting. If you want the light in the sink area on you have to have the entire room light on so end up washing hands in the dark. Overall good experience.

This was the first time ever staying at Aloft. I was seriously impressed by how professional the staff was, how helpful they were as well. The area surrounding the hotel has multiple restaurants and shops all with in walking distance.

About what you would expect for the price point. Would rather see ice machines on each floor rather than the little 1lb bags of ice in the tiny freezer. More plastic means more trash plus they don’t restock at night. In short they ran out. Hotel was in a nice location though.

No bellhop to help with luggage, had to self park, load and unload luggage, carry it all to check in and up to my room and do the same on checkout. Check I was on 4th floor. Bad set up. No restaurant! No bar to speak of. Tiny rooms. Location was good but lack of amenities, service and support overshadowed the location

Location is excellent. Amenities are great! Gym, pool, and parking were good. Even loved the conveniently pre-packaged ice bags! There is no sit down/done in restraunt in the hotel. There's a menu you order from. Only flaw is (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) there was obvious smells of pets in the A/C's ducts - we all woke up with stuffy noses.

We love Aloft! It’s walkable to lots of fun stuff downtown. The lobby has a fun tabletop shuffleboard game and a nice coffee shop/breakfast place. Room is comfortable and clean with nice shampoo, and the pool area is nice.

Love the hotel for its easy check-in and courteous staff. Comfortable quiet room. Easy onsite parking. The surrounding area is full of shops and great restaurants.

One elevator out of service the entire time. Multiple dogs barking on the floor I was on. Elevator that was in service and the hallway smelled like wet dog. Parking card was not activated and so I paid at the hotel and again in the garage for parking.

Convenient to downtown

Very contemporary property with excellent lobby, including mini market, free, coffee, pool and large amount of sitting area. Great views from the upper floor. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Excellent location close to peace center and Main Street with alleyway to several restaurants.

We really enjoyed how dog friendly the hotel was. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs to the bar, get a cocktail, and play a game of pool. I wish there was still a dog run in the hotel though.

Great location within walking distance of lots of nice shops and restaurants. Hotel was clean, lobby and bar area were well designed and staff was so friendly. Will stay here again if ever in the area.

Very clean and staff were extremely friendly! Only downfall is the walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the halls and in the rooms next to you.

On our last day after staying 5 days they did not leave us any coffee. We called the front desk and they told us to come downstairs to get it. We in bed and super tired. Guess what? we did not have coffee in our room this morning. Disappointing.

We loved the our room location which was next to the pool. There were cool lounging chairs outside.The shower in the bathroom had mold in several spots and needs a deep cleaning. The bedding was comfortable and the lounge was great. The location is also great for being in the heart of downtown Greenville.

the one elevator with the other shut down caused the stay to be unhappy.

This was a beautiful find traveling with dogs. The rooms are a little small but that was not an issue. The views were amazing and the staff was great. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking around Greenville. I am already planning my next weekend getaway and will definitely be staying here many more times in the future. If you don’t like dogs you won’t like it here which is unfortunate for you.

Second time we’ve stayed here and will stay again! The only hiccup was one of the elevators was out of service. Otherwise, amazing. Front desk staff is super!

The hotel is well located in downtown area. The property is clean However the hotel only had 2 elevators. One was out of service for several days . The room service was just ok . Cleaned the room only once over 5 days
