    The person in the room next door had tv on full blast ALL NIGHT asked staff if he can turn it down just a notch.. Nothing happened.. horrible night no sleep for my 7am meeting, otherwise things are okay

    When checking in staff was having a personal conversation so I had to wait then while checking me in the person came back and he continued his personal conversation the room had not even s half roll of toilet paper so I had to get one off housekeeping cart the shower runs out onto the bathroom floor so just the floor mat is not good enough dunking breakfast the syrup container was also most empty where I had tilt to the side to get syrup While leaving there was a older man very concerned about actually going on in the hotel where he reported and there was three staff members at the front who dismissed him Where he then came to me asking for help I assisted him with notifying the authorities the staff saw and hear this and then they decided to call someone I came into this area because my son was having a basketball tournament this is supposed to be a family friendly hotel and nothing felt family or friendly the staff could have taken the information down for the man and have it at least noted so that if this came about again then they all know it’s repeatedly but they chose to ignore him and if someone was to get hurt then they have a bigger issue I will not stay here again with my family

    Upon checkin ( after a very rainy stormy drive) I asked for a luggage cart to try to bring in my stuff. The man at the desk said he had no access to one. So now I knew I had to make multiple trips out to the car in a terrible storm to try to get my luggage and bags. I am a senior citizen and he made no attempt to try to help me . as a result when I got my luggage out of the car, my luggage tipped over and fell in a puddle and when I tried to stop it from falling into a puddle, I fell in the parking lot. Not once even when i made it to the lobby and he saw how upset I was andthe condition I was in did he attempt to relieve me ir make arrangements for someone to assist me. Finally a woman who worked there helped me get into my room.. .

    why do you have a smart TV in the rooms if you can't use the smart TV? the buttons being disabled on the remote limiting your usage of the TV is pretty stupid.

    Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. Common areas appeared dirty and not well maintained, giving the impression that housekeeping and upkeep are not a priority. The biggest frustration was breakfast service. After the initial rush of guests, many food items were not restocked, leaving limited options for those who came down later during the breakfast hours. Overall, while the room was acceptable, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness throughout the property, and poor breakfast management made for a less-than-satisfactory stay.

    The door wouldn't open and staff shoved on it to open it. The room was dirty and bed spread had multiple stains in it, so we requested a different room. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9am, but when we got there at 8:50 am, the staff already shut it down and we weren't able to get anything.

    TV remote buttons didn't all work. Fridge didn't keep stuff cold (it worked part of the time), I had to leave my food at front desk and ask them to get it for me whenever I got hungry, however.... staff were VERY friendly about it!! Trashcan outside rear entrance was overflowing with garbage during whole stay. All staff were excellent!! Hotel phone also didn't work at all.

    For an older hotel it was acceptable. We did have an issue with the tv/remote. Never seen any hookup where the screen is blank when you first cut it on. Kept waiting so we could find a channel, finally called front.desk which ended in him coming to our room. He explained remote only handles volume and.channels and you just start hitting the channel button up or down. Who knew this? ,

    Room was clean and in great condition. Most of the staff was friendly, some did not speak. Breakfast was average, regular coffee ran out 3 mornings in a row. Need one extra pot to keep up with number of guests. Parking was spacious and convenient. Overall very good and a great price.

    The staff is all nice and by the time we leave they know him by name and pet him etc. They could us a little help with the gardens just refilling the mulch would help the outside look a lot but the inside and over all the properties nice and clean and a good value.     The room was nice, spacious, and clean. Loved that we had a fridge and microwave inside the room. The wiring for the lights seemed to be a little messed up as one of the bedside lamps switches turned on the hallway light. The bathroom was also nice and clean, however the toilet paper roll holder was loose and after the first night, couldn’t hold the roll anymore. It was good stay for the weekend and there was free breakfast!

    The only issue I do have is the front desk staff not very helpful as I asked to see if there were extra packets of sweetner for morning coffee and they did not even make an effort to try refil. Sounds nitpicky but at least make the effort.

    It has taken years for the remodel and we continued to stay during the 4 years of construction. Along the way, the rooms were always decent and clean and the hotel felt safe. CONSTRUCTION is DONE! The place looks great and the rooms are really nice.

    Clean & attractive lobby, front desk & cleaning staff all friendly & helpful, plenty of parking, very close to Steven Tanger Theater where we had tickets that evening on our way home from SC to WV, basic continental bkfst at 9:00 am included (dry) scrambled eggs, biscuits w/ sausage gravy, pancakes, mini-muffins, toast, yogurts, coffee & orange juice, & apples. Would definitely stay again.

    The air conditioner banged VERY loudly every time it would kick on therefore very disruptive to sleep. The shower was nice and warm but the water flow from the shower head was sparse. Breakfast did not have any healthy options ( yogurt but was loaded with sugar). No coffee until 9:00!!!

    I tried to speak with the manager, but since it was a weekend(Saturday )she was not reachable and there was no one else managing the property I was told. I found that to be interesting. On my check-out day that Monday, I was able to speak with the manager. She did offer a $50 discount for the inconvenience, but I believe more should have been given, I did stress to the manager that I will not be returning. It is far less than I expected and that I am use to. I travel frequently. To top things off after speaking with the manager, I went to get a cup a coffee at the coffee bar, I was only able to get a drip. That figures!

    Outside landscaping needed some help as it looked like a jungle. Not a good first impression when the grass is to your knees in places. Breakfast area was very small and ran out of plates. Had a reservation for 4 guests and got two bath towels Had to go back downstairs. Feels like this property could use some better management and intentionality. Room was clean but had an odd smell. Definitely room for improvement as we’ve stayed at other Laquinta properties regularly.

    We were given a key at check in to a room already occupied.. so imagine barging into someone’s room at 1am. Not fun for either party. Then the doors to the next room slammed every time they went in and out (frequently). The bathroom was disgusting.. black curly hairs everywhere (repulsive), the nightstand and desk were dirty with a ring from a cup crusted on them. On night 2 of 4 our room key quit working so we had to wait on the elevator and go all the way back down to the desk to get new keys. Overall very poor stay.

    Staff at front desk was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. Location to walk to restaurants was great. We were going too sit by pool to relax, however all cushions in chairs were torn and dirty, grass around pool area was up to my knees, umbrella was broken and hanging down, such a shame because it’s a beautiful pool area. Breakfast staff nice but no decaf coffee, no tea disappointed since I don’t do caffeine. Need to add wheat toast, peanut butter and jelly besides a large container of grape jelly that went from table to table. Other than that was very pleased with hotel and price. Would stay again

    The breakfast really wasn’t worth it. They only offered scrambled eggs, bacon and make your own waffle. Mix some pastries and water. Nothing spectacular. They close breakfast down at 10 AM which I find very annoying.

    Lighting wasn’t good in the rooms nor in the stairwells. The Styrofoam coffee cups were small and held only a small amount of coffee. Hot water and coffee were not monitored well and we’re out several times didn’t have towels in the workout room and also ran out of wipes. Had to go to the front desk to get more just overall not very good customer service. Also, breakfast was nothing to be desired. Would’ve loved to have actual oatmeal not packets and better yogurt choices.

    The suite was clean and spacious. They have a coffee maker, fridge with freezer, and microwave. It's been recently renovated. Lighted mirror in the bathroom. Closet with hangers and two tvs. The drawbacks are that you can't log in to the apps and the Wi-Fi was not strong enough for my tablet to play my apps.

    Room is very clean and nice. The staff is super nice and friendly. They are also very helpful/accommodating!! Their pet fee is awesome as well. Other places you pay a fee per night which is just way too much if you are staying for a long period of time. Definitely will love staying at any La Quinta by Wyndham.

    OUTSIDE -They painted the building battleship gray are tore out all the landscaping. There used to be a garden space with seating that is now just annopen lawn (that desperately needed mowing).     Very disappointing experience. The breakfast was poor, and despite requesting room cleaning from the first day, my room wasn’t cleaned until the third day. The noise level was also terrible , I could hear conversations from the hallway and even from the room next door.

    Great location, rooms were clean. Some construction going on in the parking lot during our stay but not a problem. Room was a little dark, would be nice to have an overhead light in the room, or some shades on the lights beside the bed. Breakfast was good. Basic continental breakfast but was constantly refilled. Would stay again!

    There was a small roach in the bathroom. Our bathroom was not cleaned very well, hair on the floor. We asked the front desk to have someone clean our bathroom. We went out for several hours and still was not cleaned by the time we came back. We did ask again before we went out the next day and it was cleaned by the time we came back. Furniture was dusty, rooms dimly lit, breakfast was not that good. I like the area hotel is located, I felt safe. Free coffee all day, Plenty of shopping and restaurants and the bed was very comfortable.

    The room had roaches and they don’t service the room even when you request service. The lighting in the room was also terrible and only one mirror. I reported issues each time and all they do is lie. I have videos and recorded everything. When I spoke with the manager I explained to her my time was very limited bc of the reason for my stay I had a lot of things so moving me to another room was not in my schedule. Avoid this place

    My entire floor reaked of marijuana. Doors and walls are extremely thin and could hear neighboring conversations. Seemed as if this was a big party weekend for this hotel with lots of young adults coming in and out of the hotel at all hours of the night. Transients were abundant in the area. Definitely not an area to stay in if you are traveling alone with children.

    Near to venue we going. Great staff. Room entry door was hard to get into. Bathroom door also was jamming making loud noise to open and close. Refrigerator only cools keeping bottle of water lukewarm. Air conditioner made loud noise when coming on and off. The sheets on beds looked old. Beds were uncomfortable.

    Very disappointed!! The room we stayed in got wet from the rain and the room we were moved to was also wet from rain. The next room we got moved to the AC didn’t work and the last room finally was good. Was not what we needed the night before a 15 hour drive. Breakfast was good the first morning but the following morning was not very good. Only minimal food the second day.

    Not very happy with my stay here, booked this hotel for the pool. Wasn’t informed that the pool is closed for maintenance until after I paid for my room for 2 days and the deposit. The lady that booked my room just laughed about it and told me that they will fix it in the morning. Went down that morning to have it fixed was told too bad they could maybe give me some points. To what I don’t know. They still haven’t done anything to make it right. Only tell me that they are waiting for a part. No compensation nothing, they just brush it off like it’s no big deal. I would have went somewhere else if I knew the pool would be closed the whole time. Especially when the only reason I booked here was the pool. The worst part was being told after I paid and the deposit, then to have the lady laugh and still nothing be done.

    Debbie at the front desk was very nice during checkin and the next day while having breakfast she asked us how the concert which is why we was there. The breakfast had very slim selection and was cold. Definitely better then the last hotel in that area we stayed at. Would stay again if in the area and needed a room!

    When I approached the front desk to request a room change, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that they were already aware of issues with the A/C units in several rooms. I was told that maintenance typically resets the units, but no maintenance personnel ever followed up. I also inquired about the hotel’s cancellation policy but was told the general manager would need to address it,yet no one ever contacted me with a response. Later that evening, I asked for a fan to help cool the room. One of the front desk clerks suggested I take a fan from another area, as the one they were using kept them comfortable in the already air-conditioned lobby. The fan that was eventually provided made little difference, and the room remained warm and uncomfortable. It wasn’t until the morning of the third day,after I returned to the front desk,that I was finally given a new room with working air conditioning. Had I not followed up in person, I doubt any resolution would have been offered. Overall, I found the lack of communication and follow-through from the staff and management to be very disappointing.     The room was clean, neat and well kept but lacked freshness. And for breakfast, it was crazy trying to get to the waffle machine. I would recommend adding another waffle machine. Refilling the breakfast items also took so long. Check in time was delayed for about 2 hours. This is very inconveniencing after driving for 5 hours. But general, the hotel is awesome.

    When we arrived at 4pm, our room was not ready. We were told that the room would be ready in about 30 minutes to an hour due to employee shortages. We came back two hours later and when we checked into our room there were no pillows and not enough towels for three people. We were told that the dryer broke down an to check back in an hour. The front desk clerk was folding the towels and bed linen by herself. She did all that she could to help us. I am satisfied with her professionalism and effort. However, the short staffed situtation, the waiting time, and lack of preparation for the room made this a bad experience. I fee lhat I should be compensated for the wait and the feeling of uncertainty at the location.

    It was a great stay for the night we were there! The room was very spacious and nicely updated. We giggled at the old phone still in the room with all the other things updated. The bed was really comfy, but the pillows were a little flat. The bathroom door didn’t want to latch without pulling really hard on it, and one small piece of baseboard was detached (our toddler found it haha), but otherwise it was a great room! Unfortunately, breakfast is only until 9am so we didn’t make it in time to have any. There are a lot of places near the hotel to find something for breakfast at least!

    The room was nice enough, the tv and internet worked great, and there was a tub included in the bathroom. I was also glad for the lvp floors, since.I think they carry less debris. However, the beside charging didn't work, the tub was dirty and.was not cleaned during my stay. In addition, my first set of towels was pretty old and the second set had visible dirt.

    The property charges you $100 when you arrive as a security fee. However, no one comes to the room with you to inspect for anything that is already damaged and after you leave, your room is not assessed, and your money is not returned to you until someone evaluates it without you present. How do you know that people on the property aren't pocketing the money?

    It was a last minute booking. Driving from NY to SC we tried to make it in 1 day but it proved too much for us. LA Quinta was the only place we found that was willing to let our newf/chocolate lab stay. The woman at the desk was very sweet and knowledgeable. The room was just what we needed, comfy bed, tv, fridge, bathroom. I am sure there was more but our tired eyes didn't care.

    I stayed at this hotel on my way to my destination along with on the way home as it was the half way point. My stay on the way there was great, the stay on the way home was less than great. I was told upon checkin that I couldn’t use a particular credit card even tho there are no signs stating so, and the card was already inserted in the reader. I requested a crib and was told that housekeeping had the key so they were unable to provide one. Breakfast is limited but was even less that the normal. No large plates, no bananas, a box of forks was placed on the counter, it was very understocked.

    my daughter was suppose to be in another room and the receptionist gave her my son's room. I'm very upset about this being charged cash and wouldn't give me a receipt, and everyone I spoke to, said if they were going to charge me, which I shouldn't have been, it should have been on a credit card. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone as I feel both myself and family were taken advantage of and caused a lot of upsetment.

    At first glance the hotel, lobby, and rooms looks very nice. Most things are updated and pleasantly colored. I was not a big fan of the check in process. Instead of just taking my card info for incidentals like every other hotel, they wanted a $100 deposit for each room so I had to swipe my credit card over and over. That's just odd to me. Again, instead of signing one agreement, they wanted me to sign 3 separate agreements, one for each room. Then they wanted my email, mailing address, phone number etc. Shouldn't they already have that? And if they don't, why do they need it? It just bogged down the check in process. Rooms were mostly clean, but there some small things they missed. For such a nice looking hotel, Breakfast seemed a little slim. All in all a decent experience, I would stay again, but just not enough for a "perfect" 5 star review.
