Helpful professional and friendly staff. Small hotel but it has a late night bar Comfortable seating area in lobby. Great healthy made to order breakfast for small price. Visually fun denim related artwork. Denim bathrobes provided in rooms. Great selection of restaurants close to hotel.

The property was clean, the staff was friendly. It was an overall great stay at this price point, would stay there again.

Hotel Denim is very reasonable and in a nice area. The hotel is very well maintained. They have updated their breakfast menu to hot options. The rooms are very nice and clean. This is my 2nd stay and this will be my go to hotel when staying in Greensboro.

Pleasantly surprised. Very nice staff and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and I liked I could cast my phone to the tv and didn’t have to log in any of my information. The only issue I had was the bathroom shower wasn’t the cleanest. There was also hair on the inside of the bathroom door and trim. Overall the rest of the room was clean and smelled good. We only stayed one night so I didn’t mention the bathroom to the staff but I wanted to be honest in my review of the cleanliness of the room. I’m sure they would have came to clean it if I’d asked. I will stay again.

I overheard when I was in the lobby this hotel was renovated during covid. They did a great job. Everything was great from checking in to getting extra things I needed for my stay. Staying here for 2 nights due to my son attending orientation for A&T which is about a 7min drive. Things are not far from this hotel. They also have complimentary breakfast which is bagels, muffins, fruits, coffee and juice. Couldn't enjoy it but looks like it was good. I will definitely stay here again. I also was able to enjoy some wine. Everything is so clean in this hotel.

The property is clean and quiet. I loved the alcohol beverage tokens that were given at check in. My daughter left her charger and housekeeping made sure that we didn't leave without it. I appreciate that. Thank you to the housekeeper who clean the room.

Room was okay...dirty vent. Both USB ports did not work, bathroom shower door hard to open and grout needed work. Staff was nice.

The Only drawbacks were that the room was a little tight and the bathroom was also small. Also there is no chest of drawers. I would definitely stay there again, though.

Location Bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when moving on it. When we checked in the employee was in sweatpants and a hoodie and looked as if she had been beat. Had a black eye and covered in bruises and kept the hood over her head. Checking out was a hassle and didn’t know I paid my security deposit in cash bc the card reader wasn’t working properly. Definitely would not return for a second stay

Worst was seeing 3 large cockroaches in the room.

The hotel was wonderful, clean inside, and beautiful! It is conveniently located to everything. The location was kind of sketchy with a lot of construction work and trash everywhere.

I've told several people I know who travel throiugh Greensboro abouit the Demin and strongly advise they use the hotel. JWD

This was my third time recently staying at the Hotel Denin when traveling to Greensboro. Each time I have found the hotel staff friendly and accommodating. My room was clean with amenities. I found this hotel to be a good price for service received.

Continental breakfast was as expected. Bagels and muffins. Enough to start the day with. Hotel shows some age. Nothing too bad, just some painting and maintenance could be done. The shower door made a terrible noise when opening/closing. However, the room was extremely clean and greatly appreciate that!

Nice little hotel. We were in town for a concert at the First Horizon Coliseum and this place was about 10-12mins away. Not too far from UNC Greensboro. Bed was very comfortable and the decor was nice. Would stay there again. Staff was friendly as well.

Overall, it was a positive experience and I would stay here again. The hotel was very clean and it was a great place to stay. Usually just one person was working the front so if it got busy sometimes your request would take a while, which wasn’t a problem. I also didn’t have great water pressure in the shower, but the hotel served as a nice place to rest at the end of the day. It was convenient that several restaurants were within walking distance.

I traveled alone and it was a very safe, friendly environment near good places to eat.

So happy to have found which is probably the best hotel in Greensboro! It has a very cool vibe and was very clean. The free drink at the bar was a plus! We enjoyed our time there.

In 3 years of travel soccer, this was literally the first location to accommodate our request for extra pillows prior to our arrival. They also gave us an extra hour for checkout when we learned we would be in the finals, which is often denied. Small requests like this are often overlooked by the large commercial chains but are huge conveniences to travel sports families who have a busy weekend and need these small requests for rest and convenience. For future tournaments to Greensboro, we'll definitely return here in place of the usual large chains.

The menu isn't extensive but what we had was excellent! The warm oatmeal w/fruit and granola was excellent. So was the breakfast burrito.

The breakfast was good: bagels, cream cheese, and an option to order from the kitchen. Coffee was provided, not my preferred brew, but it worked. And you receive a token for your beverage of choice; I chose water, since I do not drink alcoholic beverages. The staff was friendly, and the rooms filled up fast. When I checked in, there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. By nighttime, the parking areas were completely full - get there early. No gym available, and I didn't have time to exercise anyway. The designs inside the hotel were very unique and brought a chill retro environment. I liked it.

Great place to stay, very clean and the people working here are so pleasant. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival and it ended with a smile as we checked out. Would definitely recommend!!

The decor felt more like sleeping in a nightclub and didn’t match the vibe shown in the photos. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the surfaces didn’t appear to be properly cleaned—you could still see marks from where glasses had been placed on the tables. The walls were also thin enough that you could hear other guests using the restroom and flushing

Hotel Denim is the perfect hotel for a short stay like we did. Clean, comfortable, fun, good breakfast, excellent service, great location, good amenities! I will return. It is a truly the perfect hotel.

Breakfast was limited in choices.

What I didn’t like was that there was no treadmill in the fitness room. I also did not like the very uncomfortable “chair” that was more like a park bench. Everything else was fine. The room wasn’t as nice as the room that I had the very first time that I booked there. It was clean and smelled good.

We got in real late bc we was coming back from Florida and we couldn’t have asked for better staff member than Jean. She went above and beyond to help us and was so kind. Would definitely stay here again and loved the decor.

I love this property! The hotel had a contemporary look, but felt like home. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The location was perfect and the staff were super friendly. If I travel to the area again, this will be my hotel of choice.

Very cute, boutique style hotel. It is small and not many amenities, but it's perfect for what we needed during a soccer tournament. At check in, you receive 2 poker chips for either a free water or wine/beer. There is a free continental breakfast, but we decided to check out local eating spots. Housekeeping was very attentive! Everyday they came knocking to ask us if we needed any more towels or trash taken out. We really appreciated that! Overall, we enjoyed our stay & loved the location. Hotel is close to a lot of stores & restaurants.

I am very picky about hotels. This was my 1st time staying at Hotel Denim in Greensboro NC. I normally stay at the Sheraton Near the mall. I wanted to try a new place to have options. The reviews were pretty good for this hotel. This is a smaller hotel with 4 floors. When you walk in, it smells clean with scents of Clorox and other cleaning agents. I was pleasantly surprised! The only 3 very minor issues I had were no microwave in the room, the toilet not being properly cleaned & very limited breakfast choices. I still do an additional wipe down with Clorox wipes & Lysol spray at any hotel no matter how luxurious it is. Most hotels don’t clean the seats of toilets & under the toilet seat properly. You get 2 token chips with your stay for a water & alcohol beverage. I don’t drink & only got water. It’s a very small breakfast area. The choices were muffins or a bagel. There is no option for a hot breakfast. The fruit was very old & soft. I only took a banana & had 2 bites before I peeled it and it was no good 😒. Marcus is very kind, patient and professional. I called before my stay to request an early check in and when I arrived, my room was ready. Housekeeping & staff are very nice & helpful. Hotel Denim was good except the 3 minor issues. The area is safe and very peaceful and quiet. There are eateries within walking distance and other stores, and a gas station across the street. I enjoyed my stay and I recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

We called for an early check-in twice (2:00 pm) and when we got there our rooms were not ready. Even at 3:00, which is the normal check-in time, they were not ready. We had to get ready for a wedding so it made it difficult. Other than that, the property was ok. Not worth the $250/night rate we paid.

Aesthetically pleasing, super clean. I love the fact they give you a poker chip to cash in for a water, beer, or wine which is super dope. I also love the concept that if you see anything in the room that you like you can take and they will just charge it to the bill. The young lady at the desk was super sweet and very helpful. Overall 10 out of 10 recommend I would definitely come back!

I was in town for a meeting and this place was adequate for my needs. The staff was friendly & helpful and the building is in a good location - near a rail-to-trails walking path that is quite nice. But the morning breakfast offers no protein options, the bathroom had no fan and the bathroom door didn't close/open without using some force, the heating/cooling system was inconsistent, and the rooms were quite small. If the price was less, I wouldn't mind any of these criticisms but I expected more for the price I paid in comparison to other local options.

We absolutely love this hotel! Very stylish and unique decor. Comfortable and welcoming. The staff was more than amazing. Jon and Heather went above and beyond to help us out and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to our next stay.

Staff was awesome. I forgot her name (she worked night shift), but she was extremely friendly and pleasant. She even made us some pretty good drinks. The only issue I have is really an issue with most hotels nowadays where there's no in room microwave. Also, the in room mini fridge wasn't plugged in so we had to wait a few hours for our stuff to actually be chilled on the fridge. Outside of that, excellent stay

It’s a smaller boutique type hotel. It was lovely. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Great little espresso machine in the room. It had a small gym, but it was really cute and had the basics. I will stay here next time I head back to Greensboro!

Staff was nice, room was fine, surprised to get 2 free drinks - either a white wine or Michelob ultra. Also a surprise to have continental breakfast, coffee, bagels, and muffins. Stayed in GSO to see a show at Hangar 1819, dinner at Aji Fusion minutes away. Overall perfect hotel to stay for one night.

Great 1 night stay! Beds comfy, shower pressure was awesome & the room was clean. Only bad part was having to wait on the room to be cleaned when I arrived (they said they were short staffed) & the room being by the ice maker. But overall, I definitely would stay there again!

We stayed one night to attend an event. Room had an odor like the floors were mopped with dirty water. Pillows needed replacing. Overall room served it’s purpose for an overnight stay and staff was friendly.

The staff was courteous. Our room was extremely small. The toilet needed to be flushed twice after each use. The shower needed some touching up because of cracks and possibly mold settlement in the creases. Great location. The free wine and beer tokens were a nice touch. Overall, it wasn't my worst experience.

I stayed here while attending a conference at a different hotel. The place was super cute, the staff was friendly. As a woman traveling alone, when the staff sort of knew my face when coming & going felt like an extra level of safety that I appreciated. Really enjoyed my days here and will return the next time I am in Greensboro.

The vibe and art work in this hotel are so cool. It really is beautiful. So much attention to detail. Staff were all very nice from the cleaning crew to the front desk/food service.

Rooms were nice sizes, beds comfy. They do have a gym room that includes a yoga equipment section, weights, a water rowing machine and one of those mirrors you can work out with.. pretty damn cool! Check in at 3 Check out at 11.. nice and welcoming hotel and a few restaurants close by but a quick drive downtown for more eating options and close to the local University- North Carolina A&T

The staff and the room were great. Everything looked clean and the staff was really nice. The only thing that I was disappointed in, was the shower. The sink got hotter than the actual shower.

My daughter is a student at NCAT & this is my go to hotel when I have to travel to Greensboro! Not only is it affordable but it is clean and smells great ! The staff is attentive, accommodating, and they make you feel at home!

Hotel Denim was a charmingly funky place with a number of nice touches, e.g., free glasses of wine in the evening, a free basic breakfast, an interesting decor, and a wide range of TV options, all for a great price (thanks to a discount via Hotels.com). The staff were very helpful. Although in an out of the way location, it was quick and easy to get around, for instance, to the International Civil Rights Center and Museum. If I have to travel to Greensboro again, I'd seriously consider staying at Hotel Denim again.

At 3 AM I was woken by loud banging - to me it sounded like maybe a physical altercation. I called the front desk and let the desk clerk know. The next morning I was going to shower before I checked out but there was no hair dryer in the room. I know I could have called the desk but that is a basic room item and should have already been in the room. I would not stay with you again Gayle Swope

What a great little hotel. We stayed a night while traveling to visit family for the holidays and enjoyed it so much, we decide to stay again on the way back home. Super friendly staff (the gentleman working the evening shift was outstanding). Very clean inside and outside of the hotel. Easy parking with a quick walk to your room. They also give you two poker chips when you check in, that are redeemable for a glass of pino, a beer, or a water from the gift shop. Wonderful stays.

Lots of a denim themed decor and graffiti inspired art on the walls. Very clean and sleek finishes. They offer adults a free glass of wine or beer upon check in or a bottled water. There is a free breakfast grab and go things like muffins and bagels and then a cooked to order paid menu as well. Great location in Greensboro for shopping and dining. Very cool vibe for the hotel. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m coming to the area.

Hotel Denim had attractive decor and was as nice a hotel as any of the others in Greensboro we have stayed at. There was not a chair in our room only two round stools. For people in there 70s we missed having back support. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as should.

This is a very nice jotel with a great theme horioring the areas history of fsbic weaving and denim making. and decor. It was classy and casual. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The plumming fixtures were leaky snd possibly weren't installed correctly. The breakfast was very limited and could haves benn set out in a better way.

What stood out the most is the aesthetic appeal. It is so cute. The lobby felt like a very modern, sleek, and stylish living room. The mix of tiles, denim, and velvet was really appealing. The staff was friendly and ever-present. I also like the minimalist approach. It had all of the basics and if you wanted more there was a way to get. For example, the fitness center was well appointed but there was sign that said if you needed more you could a day pass to a local gym discounted through the hotel. But the cherry on top was the complimentary wine upon arrival. It was tasty, too. Would definitely return.

Dirty floors and shower. Toilet paper in the toilet. Cobweb on light when you walk in. There was a mouse in my room and staff would not move rooms. I had to trap it in the bathroom and listen to it claw through the wall all night. When I told staff there was a mouse, they required photo / video proof to send to their GM and still did nothing about it - wouldn’t even move me to a new room. I asked for the GM to call the next day and she did not.

Enjoyable overnight at Hotel Denim. Parking is plentiful, and hotel is pretty standard from the exterior. Inside, however, is where it gets good. Staff was very friendly, and at check-in, you receive a token for a free beer or glass of wine. Nice little perk. Decor is funky and fun. Room was a good size, very comfortable, and quiet. This is not a chain, and I feel like the owner(s) have undertaken a labor of love - amenities are very thoughtful; espresso maker & pods in the room (!!). clothes steamer, individually wrapped loofah, robes (denim, of course), nice-quality toiletries, nice linens, fridge, and aesthetically pleasing fixtures (lights, faucets, furniture all very stylish). Good vibe all the way around, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Hotel was clean and welcoming. The guy that checked us in was friendly and professional. Room was very clean. Only issue was the shower door. It was off the track or something and was very hard to slide shut. Bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in in a hotel. Wasn’t to firm like most hotels I’ve stayed at. Very quiet. Didn’t hear neighbors or outside noise. Would definitely stay again.

I’m really surprised how many great reviews this place has. There are some positives. The staff was extremely nice. There are complimentary drinks. And that’s it for the pros. The quality of the rooms is pretty rough. Clearly this was an old hotel that got the landlord special. Things have been updated/touched up, but either poorly or should have been fully replaced. Online it seemed like a great boutique hotel, but it’s really just mediocre (or less).

Location and parking was convenient. The overall look of the property was artistic and a welcomed change from your traditional hotel. The front desk were friendly. My only cons were the water pressure of the showers and the rough texture of the towels (fabric softner would work wonders). They thought of everything with the robes, slippers, lofas, and makeup remover towel. I will be back!

Great hotel and location for my purpose. The parking lot was easily accessible and upon entering the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed - loved the hardwood floors better than carpet -- bathroom additionally was very clean - with marble sink and had added amenities for personal use. Plenty of soft fluffy towels - changing robes and a great mattress. Has a small bistro option for food in evening - but there are plenty of dining options nearby. Did not have the breakfast - so no comment on that. The hotel was overall beyond what I was expecting. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel - very impressed. Excellent place to stop if on a long journey and need a peaceful nights rest.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure my disability accomodations were in place, even to the extent of speaking with the GM after hours. Also, the Tempurpedic bed was extremely comfortable. And I was very impressed with all the attention given to little details that enhance the customer experience. For instance: a bottle of water to use in the in room espresso maker, with ceramic espresso cups; slippers and awesome, generously sized denim robes in the room; some items available free of charge for breakfast; coupon for a free bottle of water, beer, or glass of wine from the bistro... Anyway, I could go on, but Hotel Denim 100% has my vote for the place to stay any time I'm in Greensboro. Thank you!

This is my favorite place to stay when working in downtown Greensboro! There is a Greenway Trail right across the street that is a safe place for a walk or run. Also, it is very nice to be able to park right in front of the entrance without having to pay for parking

During my stay, I encountered two separate incidents where I found bugs in the shower on different days. This was both unpleasant and unexpected for a hotel of your reputation. In addition, my room door did not close properly. I was especially alarmed to discover this morning that the door had been slightly cracked open all night, a serious safety concern that left me feeling uneasy.

I was impressed with the room, amenities, friendliness of staff, free breakfast and room charge. I have to return in two weeks for another appointment and have already booked a return stay.

BIGGEST ROACH I HAVE SEEN CRAWLING THE WALL WITH LIGHTS ON, we had just arrived, screamed all the way to the desk, clerk didn't apologize, said is it a Palmetto? Heck no, I'm old, it's an old fashioned fat roach, it's an old building clearly with a problem, we are on the O'Henry, it's great!

The pictures make this hotel "appear" more upscale/elegant than it really is. It's really just a good, solid, locally owned Inn with friendly staff and fairly clean atmosphere. No frills, that's for sure! Although, the flat screen TV is huge! :) It is in line and fair for the pricing structure.

This property was remodeled. It looks great from the exterior and the lobby but there was something gg on with the A/C. I gad turned the A/C to 61 degrees and it still wasnt cool in the room. The shower dod not have good water pressure and the culking around the shower was terribl. The floor was not that clean through out. There was no microwave in the room and the complimentary breakfast just lacked everything. I few pieces of fruit, bagels and muffins with coffee. The refrigerator in the room was not cold either. This property is not woth the $$$.

This place was perfect for my needs. The staff was very friendly, although it took a few days for the manager to come up and fix my room safe, which wasn’t working when I checked in. There’s a very small continental breakfast, but they do have a small menu for an upcharge—although I found their small continental breakfast to be fine. The hotel is next to a construction site, but it wasn’t loud. Overall, the rooms were well appointed, the coffee in room was good. The vibe was upbeat. I would recommend it.

Shower pressure is very weak and they do not recycle. A nice surprise was the complimentary glass of wine or beer in the afternoon.

The room was a bit small, but adequate. The hotel is very cute and and tastefully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. One big problem was the water pressure. Plenty of hot water, but the shower had the lowest water pressure I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Probably the best Hotel experience I’ve had in a while. All the staff have been wonderful. The hotel is cute and quaint. It is in a great location Just 6 minutes to the UNCG campus. Great vibe, location and customer service. The only thing that is just meh is the breakfast . I think they could have some better options. Not everyone likes bagels and blueberry muffins. Other than that I will definitely stay here again.

Navigation in Greensboro was confusing and the location on Westover Terrace when Wendover is so nearby was confounding. That's not their fault, but it was a problem for us. Spare breakfast offering. Only espresso machine in room. No complaints. Restful stay near relatives' house and church.

The black out curtains helped me fall to sleep in no time! The quiet room with the ability to adjust the a/c to suit my needs was appreciated. The coffee machine made a great cuppa joe in the morning.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this establishment, and I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. The room was immaculate, comfortable (except the pillows), and provided a serene environment, which was exactly what I was hoping for.

Where do I begin? Absolutely amazing experience and I love that there is only 1 of these but really would also wish they had a chain of these hotels everywhere. When I say amazing experience I really mean it! Where do I begin? Prior to checking in they were communicative and friendly. Parking included! I walked in and the front desk was so friendly and easy check in process. Not only did he provide me a great break down, we got moscato as a check in token, but they also had an amazing aroma and smell. The back patio was a beautiful vibe. Where do I begin with the room? Modern, spacious, beautiful accents and interior designing, beds so comfortable I was floating, espresso machine, complimentary waters, and the best part: THE JEAN ROBES WAS MAGICAL! WiFi was fast and prompt and the whole experience was just top notch. The breakfast was limited but the muffin and coffee was appreciated and delicious for our drive back. I can’t wait to come back just to stay longer at this hotel. Thank you hotel denim for pure hotel excellence.

I was leary when I got there, as a single woman traveling alone the neighborhood looks a little questionable. I was so very wrong. This is an up and coming hotel who has made an excellent choice of where they are located. The staff makes you feel like family, hotel is fun and a little quirky, incredible clean. A definitive upgrade to chain hotels.

My only negative I can say is that the water pressure was not good in my room the shower was just not really adequate

Stayed here with my daughter the night before her freshman orientation at UNCG. Very convenient to the school. Comfortable bed and room. Didn't try any food or drink, but both were available. Nice independent hotel. I'm sure we'll stay here again when visiting our daughter.

The hotel has a poor location surrounded by “rough” area and poorly taken care of roads. The hotel also has poor taste in decor, “art” of bare butts in the lobby restroom, dropped pants “art” in the room. The online photos are misleading. The room is NOT soundproof in anyway, the noise from other rooms and the hallway can be heard constantly. *The gentlemen that were running the front desk evening and morning were very pleasant, and that’s the only good thing about the hotel.

The "denim theme" was cute and continued throughout the hotel. I could tell that it was an older hotel, but it was well updated and accessorized. The bed was comfortable and I noticed that they provided two different thicknesses/firmness in pillows to ensure the right comfort level. The location was convenient to UNCG (my reason for booking) as well as shopping and restaurants. I also have to comment on the amazing scent as you walk in the lobby! It was so pleasant that I had to ask the desk clerk what it was! I definitely plan to stay again.
