The pool was closed arbitrarily. There was also no service in the morning at the in-house coffee shop. Be careful if you are traveling with a pet. The pet fee is only $16 but the don’t disclose to you a $100 “pet cleaning fee” It is in the paperwork that you sign at check in so read carefully.

The tv wasn’t working and the heating could not be adjusted higher than 70 degrees. When this was reported the staff could not do anything. I was still charged for everything, even parking.shower water pressure was minimal. Breakfast is not complimentary as in many other hotels. Will never stay in this place again.

We ate bfst elsewhere, so not applicable. They got wine glasses from the bar even though it was closed so we could enjoy wine by the fire in the lobby. Very comfortable, cozy lobby. We used booking.com for reservation but name for our friends was entered incorrectly and Marriott did not have the room for them even though I had a confirmation from Booking.com. Marriott has to go by name as numbers don't sink. We fortunately were able to let friends book a room and then I've had to sort out with hotel and booking.com.

I’m not gonna throw it all the way under the bus though because the bed felt great/I did have numerous compartments for Storage for clothing, laptop, etc. How do I not have a microwave in my room? Why do I have to pay for parking if I’m parking at your hotel I did like the bathroom but it had spots in the shower! The sliding door to the balcony was cool but they put me on the side where the view is just the highway. Why do guest have to put a trash bag in the trashcan? Shouldn’t it already have been done?

This hotel needs a serious cleaning. It’s really dirty. Corners have dirt buildup, fingerprints in halls and elevator and carpets are disgusting.

Everything was accessible and nearby. The fitness area was cool. Didn’t really see anybody behind the counter I’m assuming where you can order the bistro items and etc. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. It was globs of hair in the bathroom. The drain in the shower was backed up so it wasn’t letting the water out properly. There wasn’t a microwave in the room and if I recall correctly when I stayed at the property in the past, there was a microwave in the room. The television was giving off a blurry blue screen as if the tv is about to go out. Changed the channel and even cut the tv on and off it didn’t help.

Shower didn’t drain well. Had to turn off the water a couple of times during the shower to allow for draining. Could not get the room cool since you have to be up moving around to get the AC to stay on. Also, my key card was deactivated before check-out time.

Housekeeping leaves the garage bags for small cans in room lying there-waiting for ME to put them in I guess? Water pressure super low in shower.

The room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Less expensive than other hotels in the area. The A/C unit in the room couldn't seem to keep up with the heat outside and it was a little too warm in the room for me to sleep well. The vending area / ice machine was not very clean and I saw a dead bug on the floor two days in a row when I went to get ice.

Nothing I was given a handicap room when I book a regular room I was not accommodated at all.

The only dislike I had was the bathroom. The shower in my room was absolutely disgusting and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. There was hair and dirt everywhere.

Came to stay with my dogs and the area where they deemed for the dogs outside was disgusting and full of trash and not lit at night. Around the property there were needles by another tree. Truly not safe for dogs or people in general.

Like that they had a room in my price range at the last minute. Staff wasn't what I would call great. They didn't come acoss as being happy, excited that we were guess. Kind of wandering after check-in if all guess received this royal treatment.

Bathroom and room cleanliness was terrible given nightly rate. Water is $4.50 a bottle in the lobby, and none is provided upon arrival in the rooms. Not even a single bottle which is standard everyone including some motels. Truly poor.

Hi, I requested a room without service animals and asked housekeeping, the manager, and the desk clerk to have one available since you are a no-pet hotel. I have a terrible allergy to animals, even service dogs. No one seemed to know about this request. I did a room check and took the room offered. The restaurant was closed for dinner on Labor Day. The break service stopped after 9:30 AM. I had to go out to eat. I had selected a hotel for in-meal availability. The place was attractive and clean, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend all hotels have rooms that are used only for non-pet or service animals. I was not told about breakfast time, and no meals in advance. The pool and courtyard were nice. Thank you.

Everyone else had to pay ($15 for eggs, $4 for bacon…) The prices were ridiculous. The room was nice but not worth the money. It smelled like pot in the fitness center and the pool deck area. I enjoyed my stay at The Courtyard Marriott. The staff was friendly & courteous. The hotel was conveniently located next to a slew of eateries and getting to the highway was a breeze. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I had an inoperable refrigerator in my room. They did send a technician to replace it on my last night, but I had to throw out food because of that. Also, I paid the additional fee for breakfast and the on-site restaurant opened late one morning and I was t able to utilize the service. I didn’t bother patronizing them after that. Overall it was a great hotel and I will be back when I visit Greensboro.

Didn’t start off well as I got there at 2:55p only to be told there were no rooms ready. Finally got a room at 3:30 and that kind of set the tone for the trip. The shower didn’t drain well despite being on the 3rd floor.

I didn't like that the fire trucks and EMS was almost on an hourly schedule, and my toilet ran the final night for the entire night. Sleep was very difficult the final night and my cooler( refrigerator) wasn't working

Despite 3 requests for late checkout or extra half-day rate, all were refused. Not what I expect from a property like this. There are other local options - Homewood Suites and Embassy suites and I will select one of this next time I or my staff stay in Greensboro.

Got a king suite. It was clean and updated with modern furniture but the bathroom was still dated and very small.. the size of a NYC closet. It’s not a lavish place, but doable (good for an overnight /short weekend stay where you’re not lounging around)

The beds were comfy and clean. The shower and bathroom made my skin crawl. These areas were old fashioned and the shower was dirty. There was a long hair in the shower and stains throughout. My daughter didn’t even want to stand In it she laid a towel down on the shower floor. The hot cold indication on the bathroom sink spicket fell off while my daughter was brushing her teeth. But we were there only one night to go to an event at highpoint university. Convenient location for going to the school. Only a 20 min drive and plenty of restaurants all around the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again tho bc I’m very picky about cleanliness and although the beds and rest of the room was clean the dirty and old fashioned bathroom made me uneasy about how clean the room truely was.

I booked two rooms at the same time. I asked for side by side rooms and was given that. The rooms themselves were clean. But I was asked as well as my partner why two rooms, which we both thought was out of character, and shouldn’t matter, but let them know about children with us that was in booking info. Was informed of suspicions and asked about my form of payment, also out of character. The power surged during payment and I was charged additionally because of it for some reason, and told only because the power went out. Rooms had no microwave, and no meal to buy in storefront. One rooms air unit did not function at all. The rooms were clean overall but no hot water during showers before check out. No option to buy or book any late check out. Overall, my partner and I couldn’t understand why questions were asked and so rudely. The charge for incidentals never refunded or the additional power outage fee. Again, rooms were satisfactory, aside from air not working, and could have been better in hospitality with a better trained staffing team. The rooms were nice though and would recommend further, along with minor improvements.

This seems to be a distressed property. Restaurant was not open due to broken pipes with no indication of reopening. Room was not cleaned or towels replaced even though requested. Front desk representative apologized and said staff had not shown up and that they were understaffed in addition.

Nice Place for one night. The bistro staff did not know how to make a Long Island iced tea, but my boyfriend gladly showed them. But leaving the property I was stopped and asked for payment when I already paid online. The checkout process was supposed to be easy.

All facilities close by

It was for a surprise birthday party. It turned out fantastic!

Both the room and public facilities were clean and well-maintained. The Greensboro facility is a tribute to the Courtyard brand. The welcoming, pleasant staff was very appreciated.

Great property

Room was clean. But very very small. Shower was very small. Paid a lot for the room seems they just took advantage of the local college graduations that weekend. I noticed the prices dropped more than half less for the following day. Very overpriced for a very small hotel.

Comfortable bedding

Clean hotel, comfortable beds, near many restaurants, perfect location. I enjoyed my stay wish it was longer.
