The lady I checked in with was pure heaven. Anything I asked for I received promptly. The old lady I checked out with was rude. She didn't want to give me my refund for my room being downgraded. Pretended to be the GM on the phone with Expedia customer service. I was about to get the room for another night but her rudeness turned me off from ever reserving a room here again. Second shift manager should be running the hotel. So pleasant. Not racist at all like the first shift older lady. Room clean but I woke up with a sore throat after sleeping on the pillow.

It was fine. Room as expected - everything as described, okay bed (not uncomfortable, but not great, either). My complaints were outside the room. The common area (lobby, downstairs hall, and breakfast area) had an incredibly strong smell. Likely intended to be air freshener, but I could barely breathe and it made me nauseous. My 2nd day, I tried to take the stairs because the elevator was in the cloud of air freshener, but the stairs are very worn, and I fell. At least there was no air freshener cloud as I sat on the landing until I recovered enough to go back to my room. I understand smell sensitivities aren't super common, so I still gave them an average rating, but thought I might save someone with similar sensory issues from having to deal with it.

It had a bed to sleep in. The ac barely worked, our room smelled moldy. We had to go down to the front desk to get a shower curtain. Room was cleaned, but not well. Curtains were filthy. The floor was sticky, like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while.

Power outlets beside bed did not work. Their "business center" was not working (needed an email document printed out). Breakfast so-so.

From the time I walked in I was greeted by staff. She was super attentive and made sure due to my early flight the next morning I would have a little breakfast bag to go ready. My room was clean and the property was very safe. The only minor issue I had was the children in the room above me running around and jumping after 9pm while I was trying to sleep. I wish they would have been assigned a room on the first floor. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay.

The kindness of the staff was beyond impressive. While I’m not a fan of the brands additional billing at 4 am daily it is something that can be overlooked.

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was one of the very nicest yet! Our room was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good also.

The rooms were big, the bed comfortable, the shower was good, all clean The plastic cups, plates and knife and fork, very poor indeed, cheap food for breakfast. We went to the Hilton next door for breakfast. Comfort suites very poor breakfast considering we paid for 6 nights, 2 rooms and came from the UK. This was the only negative about our stay

Up the road just far enough to not get traffic noise but still super close. Very friendly and accommodating staff even for our 2am arrival. Reviews I read did not disappoint. When I asked about their breakfast I was told they’d have eggs, potato wedges, and a protein. Unfortunately, due to our 3am sleeptime after arrival we did not catch it as we slept through the 7-9am availability. Would recommend for your stay for sure. .

We were told to come downstairs for keys to a different room. We packed up our luggage in the middle of the night, and attempted to move rooms. The first set of keys didn’t work. Neither did the second. After a third trip downstairs, now well past 2:30 a.m., we were finally able to access another room. In the morning, we spoke to the manager who completely dismissed the situation. She rudely asked "what kind of bug was it". When I showed her the video, her reply was “that's just a stink bug,” that they’re common, and that there was no need to change rooms. She continued, "they don't bite, they just stink when you kill them". There was no apology or acknowledgment of the disruption. Rather, her tone felt dismissive and annoyed. The issue wasn’t just the bug, it was the lack of empathy and accountability. We' were so uncomfortable that we could hardly get back to sleep. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.

We stayed 4 nights and our stay was excellent. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast cook she was very friendly and always had a smile. Parking was good and always felt safe. I would highly recommend when staying in Greensboro. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place and super friendly staff. I’ve stayed in most of the hotels around GSO and this is in my top 2. Great deal, comfy beds, nice size rooms, good water pressure and clean. Even used the laundry room this visit- great perk.

Hotel smelled amazing. Shower walls weren’t clean. They had shampoo or conditioner still on the wall. The blue color matched the hotel supplied product. The mirror was also smeared and dirty. Doors slam in the hallway constantly also

The hotel is very nice and in a quiet area . It is walkable to a few fast food restaurants. The room was very nice, great condition and clean. The lobby and dining area are of a good size and clean. Parking is plentiful. I was very impressed.

Also, the exceptional customer service of the staff, especially the general manager. I love watching the general manager at work. She has a hands-on management style. It’s her competence that shows in every aspect of the hotel’s performance!!! I can’t wait to stay there again!!!

The ruff in the bathroom was literally falling down

The breakfast options were not many, the ham was over cooked as well as the potatoes.

This hotel looks great & smells clean. The bed was okay, but the pillows were AWFUL. It would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the pillows.

Nothing went well. Staff was horrible. Asked ne for a credit card for security and wasn't a requirement because card was never charged. She was not pleasant nor did she put room on list for cleaning that she stated was a requirement since stayed 4 nights

A huge shout-out to Mrs. Pam, who went above and beyond to help organize pickup for the toiletries I accidentally left behind — truly exceptional customer service! And the sweet lady serving breakfast deserves all the praise; she was so warm, hardworking, and made our morning start off right. Overall, an excellent stay. Highly recommend!

It was fine, especially for the price. Two major turnoffs (1) Perfume permeated the entire lower floor. So stong it made you choke. Clearly it was something they wanted todo as it was there the following morning as well. I guess they don't know that there are folks that are sensitive or allergic. (2) Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Made sense as there was no fan for the shower. It looked fairly new but there were quite a few swatches of it. I now know to look up when I check out a room; I didnt see it until the morning when I was showering. More annoying was the front counter person's reaction when I told them. 'Oh, I didn't know about that, sorry" Guarantee it is still there (rm 225).

4 floors every day not nice with luggage and after trip for a fair.

Perfect for my buisness trip. I just find it bad that they didn't had a recycling bean and option in the room.

Somehow we booked a king room vs a 2 queen room. Pam, the manager was so nice and accommodating to work out a bed in the room. So pleased with the hospitality and service. I stay here every year for Market.

Elevator was broken on the second floor didn’t enjoy that.

However, the functional interior design of the room was lacking. For instance, there was no place for someone to do hair and makeup if the bathroom was occupied. There was a full-length mirror but no outlet near it to plug in hair dryer. There was a desk in the room but no mirror above it to do hair or makeup. Finally, there were NO hooks or towel bars in bathroom to hang your damp bath towels. The details matter.

Staff was super friendly and kind but the elevator broke so we had to hoof it up several flights for a couple of days. Rooms decent. Average.

Rooms were clean, hotel was clean. Just a few small things would make this hotel really good. The Fitness center needs a few things like exercise mats. And they need to turn down the air fresheners in the hallways and lobby, I would stay there again for sure.

The bathroom tile surrounding the door and shower was so dirty. Perhaps due to the policy of not servicing the room daily. I had an room with an adjoining door so I could hear every word of the people in the next room. Lastly, the elevator was out of order for the last night and morning of my stay. This hotel needs attention.

I hate to even post this because I don’t want the prices to skyrocket but this hotel is TERRIFIC!! I’ve stayed in almost every hotel around GSO over the years and for the money…this is THEE best. Not saying it’s the best overall, but for some reason this spot is always way cheaper and it’s CLEAN, Beds are comfy and it’s super spacious. HUGE fan. Great service and really nice people. It’s a great great deal in my opinion

As a guest courtesy, they should have had a bottle of drinking water in the room. Guest are arriving exhausted a dehydrated and look forward to a bottle of water as they get settled in. Also, guest look forward as in other hotel rooms in having the beds made when guests walk back into their rooms.

We had a great stay. Had lots of room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Breakfast was appreciated by the girls. Convenient location for us- 10 or 15 min drive in any direction put us in midst of things without lots of traffic or noise. Staff was friendly. Very comfy beds.

A surprisingly excellent stay! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and everything worked with the exception of the bathroom shower curtain being one inch too short getting water all over the floor. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, the parking was ample and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The check in process was smooth. The room was clean and exactly what was expected. The staff were attentive, professional and nice. Restaurants are within walking distance which is a plus! However, I didn’t like that I had to ask for our room to be cleaned. Then when “cleaned” only ONE bed was made up (out of 2 plus the sofa bed. So, 3 total) towels weren’t replaced and the floor wasn’t swept. We still had trash in the bathroom but the main trash was taken out (I guess kudos for that). Overall, you get what you pay for. It wasn’t a bad stay!

I’m not sure why this hotel doesn’t get a better rating. It was clean, comfortable, easily located. The desk lady was very nice. The pool looked great and breakfast was delish. I like that they use full bottles for shampoo, conditioner and lotion, eco friendly. The double queen room was really spacious. I’d stay here, again, in a minute.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. Spacious lobby and room, everything very clean and comfortable. The shower was especially enjoyable.

The room we were given smelled like pot smoke and there was a pot roach on the floor. We requested a room change after showing the desk clerk. She was very nice and apologetic and gave us a different room.

Largest negative for me was a very stiff king bed and the pillows were terrible. Other than poor sleep the stay was pretty good. Continental breakfast was typical and fine.

The property was clean, the staff friendly, and helpful. No ice machine on 4th floor, and room primarily clean. Shower floor can be slightly slippery and ceiling vent in bathroom could be cleaner. Accommodations were met & comfortable, buffet looked nice - coffee available 24 hours.

Great place to stay. Everything was outstanding from staff to accommodations. Room was comfy and immaculate. We found an excellent Thai restaurant nearby that was not only good but very reasonable priced, Thai Square on Battleground. Def give them a visit. We’ll highly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant stay while visiting the area.

This hotel was clean and welcoming. We were in town for two days for a dance competition, and it was the perfect spot. We were able to get to the Carolina Theater within 20 minutes each day.

My only complaint with ALL Comfort Inns is that their beds are too high. I am 4’11” and cannot reach to get into bed without great effort by trying to hop and roll onto bed or have husband assist with a foot lift using his hands

Our service staff were friendly, helpful. The lobby was very nice and clean. The room was acceptable other than the rugs could have used a good cleaning, deep cleaning as well as the hallways. Overall a good stay.

The mattress was at least 4" lower at the head, so we had to completely remake the bed after rotating the mattress and adjusting the foundation. It was like moving furniture. No carpet and EVERTHING in the room slid across the vinyl floor. The bath had a shower with a 1" lip and no way to hold the curtain down. So after showering, the entire bathroom was flooded. Yep, I had to relearn my lesson about Choice properties once again. They cannot compare to Marriot or Hilton.

If there was a way to put 0 stars, that would definitely happen. As one of the past reviews previously said, a year ago at that, there is an infestation at this hotel. I was woken up in the middle of the night with itchiness on my arm. After further investigation of why I had so many bumps on my arm, I pulled the covers back and BOOM.. a bed bug. I woke my daughter up immediately and saw another bed bug in her bed all taking place at 2 AM in the morning. I then called downstairs to the front desk to inform Tia (the front desk worker) about this issue and her first response was we can give you new sheets. When has new sheets ever cured bed bugs? Then I proceeded to state that I wanted to talk to the manager which is again PAM in which I was told, " I don't want to wake her up.", as though Tia was fearful of PAM. I persisted that she call the manager and finally Tia supposedly called the manager. Tia called back to my previous room (rm. 315) and said that PAM said there is nothing they can do and that there were no other rooms available. Tia and manager PAM provided no other options or support. I immediately checked out at 2 AM and have literally been on the road for the past 6 hours back home. The overall concern is bringing the infestation back to my home. I would NEVER recommend this place EVER to ANYONE.

Staff double charged my room and didn't know how to fix it. Finally once a refund was sent it, it did not equal the $ amount paid.

I typically stray at the Spring Hill Suites across the parking lot. At $88 a night this hotel was just as clean and bed and pillows are great.

Everything was excellent except for the couch and desk chair. The couch had filthy stains everywhere and the desk chair had something sticky on the seating area.

Staff was professional and greeted us upon arrival. Room was very clean and bedside lighting was perfect for nighttime reading. The downside to this property was the noise level of people checking in late. Many people drove in late at night, parked behind the hotel and proceeded to talk loudly, yell, run around and slam their car doors which could clearly be hear in our first floor room. Also there were men sitting in two pickups throughout the night behind the hotel for 2 consecutive nights. I never understood what they were doing but it didn't seem right. It would have been helpful to have security or hotel personnel walk around the entire building a couple times a night. The location of the hotel is convenient to the highway and airport but there are a lot of unsavory people walking around the general area and begging on street medians. Was a little surprised to see that happening here. Also, my car was side-swiped by someone (hit and run) in the hotel parking lot and I received little support or sympathy from hotel staff other than to tell me to file a police report. In summary, hotel is nice but location is not-so-nice.

The breakfast was just ok, but the tables were not being cleaned throughout the available dining times. Therefore, you had to try and clean a table before you could eat and be careful where you stepped because of spillage.

I wish the room preference would have specified that it was a stand-up shower- no tub. “Popular for families” must not included families with toddlers who take baths.
