    Beds were clean and comfortable, Staff was awesome, they showed so much concern, was very nice. That made our visit so much more better.     Honestly the calf. King bed in our room was. The softest most comfortable bed I have slept on in any hotel. It was beautiful chrips white sheets and duvet spotless. It was like sleeping on my own crowd. The only kind of negatives were: the TV, it has a mind of its own. It was to quiet they would just boom out and scare the hell out of you. The flooring had a huge slant that the desk chair would roll you right to the window. The furniture had a lot of wear on it but it was clean and nice. All that said I will definitely stay here again and recommend to my family and friends.

    The rooms were not ready for us at 7 PM when we got there Beds unmade garbage in the garbage cans garbage on the floor bug crawling on the wall dirty toilet therefore we went back to the front desk and asked to cancel was told by the front desk, staff named miracle that the rooms would be canceled as they had a shortage on housekeeping staff however, the hotel did charge my credit card for the stay as if we stayed there when we did not we then had to scramble due to the disgusting dirty conditions of that hotel to find new accommodations and it ended up costing us three times the amount to stay for the one night due to Clarion‘s disgusting hotel. I have disputed the charges on my credit card and I am waiting for Clarion to make this right, but if they don’t, I will be taking to social media to speak of the disgusting nature of that hotel.

    The room was fine and everything appeared to be clean. Sheets looked pristine. Pillows were surprisingly comfortable. A/C made noise that sounded like something was wearing out. By the middle of the night, the unit was making loud, disturbing sounds and there was a hot, rubber smell. We cut it off and we're apprehensive to fall back asleep right away since we weren't sure if there was the possibility of a fire.. The room was near 79 degrees and was terribly uncomfortable. The coffee maker was broken. The front desk staff member and the maintenance guy really didn't care. No apologies, nothing.

    The next room, I believe, was 112 had such an overpowering smell of mildew and/or mold that there was no way I could stay in there. That room needs an inspection to ensure it is not a health hazard and a deep cleaning to get rid of the odor as it was bad. Not sure how housekeeping cannot smell this. Then the final room, which was 221 did have a slight odor to it as well but was not as oppressing as the last one. This room though had some issues. The bathroom faucet handle was stripped & was only able to get cold water to work. Then the sink plug didn’t work at all. I went to pull the plug handle & it was not attached and came completely out. Not sure how housekeeping could not notice this or if they had why they wouldn’t have reported it to maintenance. Then on the wall by the ironing board there appears to be food or other stains on the wall which leads to questioning the overall cleanliness of the room.

    First of all I booked to stay at the Clarion on Thorndike Rd. Got there and was told I didn't have a reservation there then to ride to get to this Clairion I wasn't impressed with the atmosphere, or surroundings I didn't get any sleep. When brushing my teeth at the sink it reeked of mold or mildew. Everytime the air conditioner came on tnere was some smell coming out of it so I cut it off then it smelt like funky feet I tried to sleep with a towel draped over My face aa a filter In the morning I turned tge water on to take a shower and the water was brown and was told that " it was a GREENSBORO thing" HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience That place need to be made over desperately. I couldn't even look out of the windows like something was spray all over them. I would NEVER stay or recommend anyone to book a reservation there.😡

    If you guys are going to upcharge due to other things happening then your room qualities should match that. Comforter had burn holes all throughout, towels were dirty, carpet and ac smelled like old smoke, and someone should be at the front desk at all times. I’m not gonna lie I really was afraid to touch stuff in there. Really thought that I could stick it out.

    You get what you pay for. Photos look much better than reality. Our non-smoking smelled like smoke, sink faucet didn’t work, phone didn’t work, you could hear everything going on outside, and the room had been touched up with the wrong color paint in various spots (quite a sight). But the beds were comfortable and clean, the tv was good, and the a/c worked.

    Nothing in this hotel works, and it is extremely dirty. The elevators do not work, the TVs in the rooms do not work, the rooms smell, horribly like cigarettes smoke, the curtains are shredded, our coffee pot didn’t work, the smoke detector all night, The only thing is the staff was nice but extremely limited in what they could do. Do not stay at this hotel. People were screaming and fighting all night long in the room next-door. We immediately checked out the next morning. It was simply awful!

    It had a phone line coming out of the wall with no phone. All the electrical outlets on the lamps were worn out would not hold a plug. The toilet seat was loose and didn't flush very well. The chair for the little desk was a piece of junk it was crooked and would not roll. The TV would suddenly come on by itself in the middle of the night. Overall the room and the bathroom were extremely small did not justify what I paid for it. This is a $30 a night room, anything more than that is a rip off.

    Handle on door to room stuck every time we used card to try to get in and had to try several times to open it. Outlets next to beds too loose to hold charging box for phones. Small beds.     Filthy. This place is a dump. Arrived to find dried mud from boots all over the floor. Not one single towel in the room. The refrigerator hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. There was dirt marks all over the walls, the bedside table drawer was filed with ashes and burn marks. Bedding was torn, stained and had burn marks. Front door was broken had been pried open in the past. Sink dirty. Tub dirty. Dried shaving cream on the wall by the sink. Just filthy.

    Firstly, upon arrival, I found the cleanliness of the room to be subpar. There were visible stains on the carpet and the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned. This lack of attention to detail was not what I expected from a reputable establishment like yours. Furthermore, the level of customer service was far from satisfactory. The staff appeared indifferent and unresponsive to my concerns. Despite approaching them with my issues, there was no effort made to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused. Additionally, the amenities promised on your website were not fully available during my stay. The fitness center, which was one of the main reasons for choosing your hotel, was under maintenance, and no alternative arrangements were made. This lack of transparency and failure to deliver on advertised services is truly disheartening. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed at numerous hotels around the world and have come to expect a certain level of quality and service. Unfortunately, my experience at your property fell far short of these expectations. I kindly request that you address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.

    We quickly checked in and headed right out to a concert. We arrived back at our room late and discovered there was no hot water. The furniture in the room was pretty beat up and the bathroom was gross. There was tape covering outlets and switches. In the morning, we could see daylight around the door and realized the deadlock didn't work properly. We still didn't have hot water. Couldn't get out there soon enough.

    The fact that this hotel is going for $30/per night right now for a 1-night stay on a Friday-Saturday, and we paid $135 & $140 for 2 rooms booked last Friday; let’s me know they extremely price gouged these rooms for the event that was happening! I booked two separate rooms & we had to leave abruptly at 3 am because there were BED BUGS & one of my friends had to go to the hospital because the bites were severe & caused swelling!! And now I’m being refused a refund for both rooms. I think not!!! Why would anyone want to stay at a hotel after someone in their party has multiple bite marks & pics/videos of the bedbugs crawling in their bed?! We left EXPEDITIOUSLY!!!

    There was no shower curtain or ventilation fan. The tub was very old with spray over on the rusted areas. I was truly disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this location. The linens were clean and an up to date television. The bathroom and sink areas need an overhaul. The staff was great so I couldn’t rate totally bad.

    For the price I paid, the facility was not to bad the bed was very comfortable. The problem I had was with my door lock. I kept having to get my room rekeyed and on my third night I ended up spending the night in another room after attempting to get into my room until 12am, very inconvenient and tiring. I was assured the lock would be fixed before I returned for my last night and it was not. Maintenance had to come let me into my room for the last night

    The exterior was old, in poor condition and very sketchy area of town. First the paint was peeling and the stairs were uneven and unstable. The grass was a foot tal around the building. There were drunk men and other “interesting” characters in the parking lot and on the side street all hours of the night. Prostitutes were common in the area. I wools do downtime lock doors at night!

    Elevator does not work. Pool has been closed apparently for a while, it doesn't look inviting. Not a great area for a pedestrian, bit shady. Smoke detectors and fire alarm system out of control. So much more to address, I am writing to the-powers-that-be.

    It was one of the nastiest hotels and the price was ridiculous holes in the wall tape on curtains, bed was sunken remote hardly worked just one of the worst experiences at a hotel at that price..Want recommend it to no one..

    The beds were def not standard queen beds but they were decent, just a little narrow. The pool was closed and green and dirty. The hallways smelled strongly of marijuana (and my 8 year old was with us so NO!). The ladies on the staff were nice and helpful, the men not so much.

    The photo's of the building and the rooms that are posted on Hotel's.com do not look anything like the actual hotel or the rooms, The hotel is old and in need of alot of up keep and repair. The toilet didn't flush unless you flushed it 3 or 4 times, the shower was old and dirty, so dirty I wouldn't use it. The elevortor wasn't working, the swimming pool was green and could not be used, If i hadn't already paid I would have left.

    Are you even serious, elevators didn’t work pool literally green, door safety apparatus broke. I mean 200 bucks for worse place I’ve ever seen Travelocity you are worse for even having this on your sight. I am so angry!

    We were just there last weekend! Lot of construction garbage and elevators were not working so my husband and I had a hard time going up and down the three flights of steps.Room was clean! Beds w re comfortable! Now it’s Friday and we havent recurved our deposit back!

    The service employees were very unprofessional. Had a problem with bed bug on the first night I was there. Experience bites on the second night and reported that to the front office. Move to another room and wanted to see the general manager. Left my phone number, and received no call. There was no concern for my well being as I had been bitten on my right side. I expected that at lease someone would have checked on me. When I went the check out still no response from the general manager. Iwas told that I should have came by the front counter to let him know I had a issue. I'm the paying customer I shouldn't have to chase the general manager down for a problem with the property. I WOULD NOT recommend this property to stay at. Service was so below the average hotel chain. The room that had the problem was cleaned of its sheets an probably rented out to the next customer. To this day May 8th I have yet to hear from anyone about my issues.

    the beds seemed clean- bathroom needed a good over haul- there was blood or something red on the wall over the desk- smelled funny- the door to go outside the floor, from the inside was broken- from the outside anyone could come in without a keycard.. only discovered this after we checked in… the outside appeared newly painted and the lobby was clean and newer.. called hotels.com to get refunded and moved- it took over an hour to get anything done and all I got out of it was told I would receive a 50 voucher toward another nights stay in the future- We found another hotel by calling around, which was faster then hotels.com help service..

    we could tell the hotel was old and was in process of being updated .. a lot of cosmetic issues one would not expect on a 150.00/ night issues door. walls not painted , cracked shower, old fixtures. bed was good at least .. i think rooms need to be finished before it’s rented again .. also outside stairs were not safe (3 bottom stairs on the side of the building) and were pretty nasty looking

    The stay was ok the air conditioning was to loud for me .The next morning they were slamming doors woke me up before 8:30.We had to ask maintenance to close a gap in the air conditioning you could see through to the outside, any thing could crawl in.

    My room was better than I expected. Yes there were some cosmetic defects but nothing major. It did not smell of smoke, as indicated in other reviews. I did not see any bedbugs or anything like that. I wanted a cheap hotel room to sleep and take a shower, and it served that purpose. The lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, I arrived earlier than check in and she made sure I got a room that was fully cleaned and functional. If you're staying in a room for less than $80, you need to go into it not expecting the Hilton. For the price, it was just fine.

    The staff was very nice and friendly they were all amazing. The room was okay for the price. The water was a bit dirty and the doors to go in and or to the stairs were broken so anyone without a key could open them.

    The room is old and needs to be painted and clean the floor had stains all of it. Bath tub had stains and the shampoo and conditioner container was leaking into tub. Not enough lighting in the room. I guess to hide the dirt. Had to have them change the sheets they was stained. I always bring Lysol wipes I’m so glad I did.

    This property used to be a Ramada Inn. It is currently under remodeling. We were not disturbed by the work but some of the remodeling was subpar. The staff were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate.

    Conveniently located to other businesses and stores. The room and common areas were very clean. The room was comfortable and everything worked. The downside is there wasn't a fitness room, which was part of the list of amenities. With the exception of waffles, breakfast was pre-packaged foods. Overall, I was satisfied and would stay again if I had to travel to this area again.

Conditions were ok a big upgrade from the last hotel we had to move from however during the stay the elevator broke and we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor.. and take all our stuff down.. It’s an up and coming hotel and can be great.. I get with the event in town things were hectic but

    This hotel is gross. We stayed here only because another hotel lost our reservation, and there were so many events in Greensboro that night, we couldn’t get a room anywhere else. The hotel is behind some other nicer hotels, but don’t be fooled by that. The carpet is worn and dirty. The sheets are thin and stiff. The room is dark and needs painting. The furniture is worn. The security at the hotel is sketchy, as you can’t get into the lobby at night…they have a bulletproof window like a bank has if you need to check in at night. The first room we had was non-smoking but the stench of cigarette smoke was so strong, we couldn’t stay there. They moved us to another room, which was only marginally better. The bathroom only had conditioner, no shampoo. The front desk staff thought conditioner was the same as shampoo, and didn’t have any. That tells me they’ve never had shampoo. There were people sitting and hanging around the stairwells when we checked in. I did not feel safe outside the room at night. The only good thing is that I checked the mattress for bedbugs and there were none. It would definitely not have surprised me to find them.

    When we checked in, Alexis was friendly and full of information. The property has recently become Clarion Pointe and renovations were happening. The room itself was clean with comfortable, but the internet was spotty in the room. Overall, a comfortable stay.

    The hotel is nothing at all like what is in the pictures on the website. Those are hardly believable to be the same hotel. This is by far the worst Ramada I have ever stayed at. The doors and walls were banged up. The signs say no smoking or pets yet every single employee (all the cleaning staff especially, right outside the door and while cleaning the rooms) and hotel guest were smoking in the hallways. In addition, there was a massive blood splatter on the wall and floor of room 222. Don't believe me? Go check for yourself. The staff assumed it was okay for this to be left in the room when they checked us in? No thank you. I was almost hit numerous times when walking in the parking lot due to people with music too loud speeding rather than checking for pedestrians. The carpets looked like they had not been cleaned since the hotel was built. I always stay at Ramada's whenever I travel out of state but this is nothing like the rest. Not worth the money. I did not feel safe at all during my time here.
