I’ve stayed here once a year for probably a dozen years and always enjoy it. Great breakfast and a decent exercise room. What’s really awesome is Greenbelt Park literally across the street. Beautiful scenery, nice trails. Perimeter trail is just over 5 miles. Some things at the hotel are getting a little dated like furniture. Also the pool was closed my entire week there. I’ll be back next year.

The location was convenient and there was hardly any noise. The breakfast was just okay to me but I loved the option of having it

Nothing to Like about this hotel Apart from the room being too old fashioned, I wasn't able to get a water bottle, not even to purchase. Too Bad.

The pool was closed for inspection and we were looking forward to it.

Our reservation at this Residence Inn - Greenbelt by Marriott included our 2 dogs. The weather was cold and icy but there was NOWHERE (not one bit of grass) for our dogs (or any other dogs at this “pet friendly” hotel to go potty. My wife went to the front desk to ask if they could shovel a spot for us. The person at the desk said she they could not. My wife asked if they had a maintenance person. She said yes. Then my wife asked if maybe they didn’t have a shovel. She said they did have one but it would be too hard to remove the snow due to it being icy. My wife said seriously? She said yes (no “I’m sorry”). So then my wife asked if she could use the shovel. She said yes and actually got it for me. So, me and my wife, the guests who were PAYING to stay there, had to shovel our own potty spot!? I can’t believe she let my wife do it. The snow was heavy/icy and it wasn’t easy, but if my wife can do it, I would think that the maintenance person could have and SHOULD have done it?

The property was not clean, it was also very worn out and things were damaged. The pictures do not look like the actual place. Things were in disrepair, there not event a hair dryer in our room. You have to walk across a courtyard outside (it was 3 degrees out) to get to the front desk.

Refrigerator in my room made strange noises all night ,maintenance came next day and unplugged. Wifi for my laptop didnt work ,had to call their support to fix. Was not able to use my laptop first night. Deadbolt woukd not close all the way. The staff was great I liked my room.

I was given a room where it was clear that a part of the ceiling near the foot of the bed had been leaking, and an attempt was repaired but not completed. Paint was peeling, and the ceiling dry wall was exposed. There was a strong room fragrance that I assume was there to mask the musty odor. The carpet was dirty, the door of the refrigerator was beat up, and there was mildew on the shower floor. I checked in very late and was too tried to move. Some water dripped from the ceiling in the middle of the night. I moved rooms the next day (into another room with a heavy musty odor), but the room I was initially given should have never been service.

Excellent hotel; great customer service and the ladies at the breakfast area were outstanding. All around great hospitality and service!

Stayed in many hotels in my life. I find your residence and in poor condition.
- 5/5
Nice, quiet, had everything I needed.

Roach crawled across the bed once we got in the room settling to rest. We packed up and went to the front desk. We were able to exchange rooms but that didn’t make for a better stay. We didn’t see anymore roaches.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
I was very happy with this hotel - the room was very lar, clean and comfortable. I thought the staff was kind - they helped me figure out travel arrangements to the airport. I was most impressed with the breakfast- there was much better variety than in most hotels and it was hot and tasty
- 5/5
Great staff and quiet!
- 4/5
Great breakfast. Some rooms more updated than others. Have to take the city bus from last stop on Greenline (Greenbelt station) which makes it a little inconvenient and more expensive if booking a ride vs. bus. Overall, comfortable experience, just a little far from where we wanted to visit in DC.
- 5/5
I love Resident inn, it’s a very nice place to stay with the family

Perfect Suite! We totally enjoyed it. Property and amenities getting old though. But nice place, will stay again.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great with rotating opinions. Great location for Metro or driving to DC and Baltimore. We have stayed at a few Residence Inn and have never been disappointed.
- 4/5
Very nice staff
- 3/5
The hotel had good service and the room was clean and comfortable. My only comcern was the screetching noise that awoke me several times. It may have been the pipes in the wall which sounded when other rooms turned on their water? Idk but it was startling. There was free parking and breakfast.
- 3/5
The room smelled sort of sour. Luckily we had a suite and could go in the bedroom and shut the door.
- 4/5
Great accommodation
- 4/5
Overall good hotel great amenities Maybe a little overpriced for the area and what's around but very quiet and right off the freeway
- 5/5
We like the separate bedroom suite layout. Fantastic to have privacy in a hotel suite for a longer/vacation stay.
- 5/5
We were there for a college tour and Homecoming. Great location. Clean room.

The gentleman who was working in the dining area during breakfast was very helpful and polite.
- 5/5
The stay was pleasant and convenient.

Breakfast is horrible. All you get is scrambled eggs and sausage. they have no pancakes, no waffles nobody make an omelette. The pool is very small and it’s outdoor and it has a lifeguard and you have to sign in in order to use the pool. and the hot tub was never opened.
- 3/5
My bed had bugs but due to the rudeness of the front desk I didn't want to go and complain. I took pictures because I had bugs in the bed and some on the bathroom floor (the bugs weren't the same). As I was checking out the front desk young lady was very friendly and showed concern. She contacted someone and she also gave me some points since I'm a Marriott member. A maintenance man was working and she called him over so we could show him the bugs and so she could get his feedback. The guy was unconcern because she had to pull him away from what he was doing so he said I'll call an exterminator.

The breakfast service was very good, and the man who operates the service is very helpful and friendly. We also liked the rooms with kitchens for other meals.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond. The suites had so much space for our family of 6; it was nice to put the kids to bed and still be able to hang out in a living area. The location allowed us to be outside DC but was close to Metro Stations to get into the city. Highly recommend this hotel for your next DC vacation.
- 4/5
Good stay, but the pool and hot tub were filthy and closed(locks on the gate). I wish that this had been mentioned, somewhere in the process of making the reservation.
- 5/5
It was amazing and really comfortable. The staff was great professional and friendly.. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
Overall satisfied with this hotel. I would stay again on the future.
- 3/5
Room smelled of Carpet Fresh. Needed airing. Pool was full of yuk-water. Needs to be drained & cleaned or covered..We stay here often— it’s not normally like this. Staff & breakfast superb as usual.
- 3/5
Light in dining room was burnt out and toulet would not flush until i fixed it. Fireplace did not work. Everything else was good and would still go back.Breakfast was good also.
- 5/5
Only complaint was lights in toilet/shower area was very dark.
- 5/5
Awesome stay, very clean establishment, friendly and helpful staff was only 10 minutes from where our event was. Good location to other stores and shops. Clean spacious room. Would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was wonderful. Will definitely stay there again. Would definitely recommend.

Felt like a home and not a hotel

Great location. Big rooms. TGI Fridays next to it also
- 4/5
Close to major highways and the University of Maryland. Great breakfast and service. I would defiantly recommend
- 5/5
The concierge was so pleasant and helpful!
- 5/5
Needed a place for a Morgan wallen concert & was definitely better than we needed . Wendy at the front desk was so sweet!
- 5/5
Our party of four stayed in two separate rooms to attend a concert at nearby Fed Ex Field. We called ahead of time and were easily and kindly given for an early check in, which we all greatly appreciated. Front desk staff were friendly and sociable. And the room was cool, clean and very quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfast, small but decent pool, adequate fitness center, quiet and clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great!
- 2/5
All 3 containers in my shower were empty. Had to go to front desk just to get ice.
- 4/5
Property was nice, but sheets need to be replaced (had prior stains) and laundromats aren't working properly. There breakfast wasn’t open the full time allotted and ran out of food a hour before time. Overall, was fairly well experience.
- 4/5
Is was quite, very friendly staff. Angie and Lori were very helpful.
- 3/5
Bathroom sink didn’t drain
- 1/5
Not worth the money.
- 4/5
Front desk persons Amelia was great.
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
Wendy Williams was great! When checking in She made me feel welcomed and her customer service was superb! I will definitely be returning. If you dont want to hear any noise request a room away from the basketball court and outside pool. This may be my favorite hotel.
- 5/5
Great stay, no complaints.
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Was most impressed with front-desk and other staff. Liked layout, spaciousness, and storage possibilities of room, along with full and somewhat equipped kitchen. However, bed was saggy and lumpy with a torn and compressed comforter. Perhaps these are just post-pandemic realities, but amenities were scanty (e.g., scratchy toilet paper.) Just not up to Marriott standards of the past.
- 3/5
I booked this place because it had a pool and a hot tub. It turns out it was only a seasonal pool and hot tub and not only was it not available for us but the pool with cover was caved in and disgusting looking I could’ve stayed next-door for almost the same price and had an indoor pool and hot tub. I have stayed in these before and I understand the outside pool not being available in the winter but the hot tub is usually open still. There should’ve been some sort of notation on booking.
- 5/5
The receptionist was wonderful. The breakfast crew were very welcoming and kind.
- 5/5
Nice and clean, quiet place. Excellent choice.
- 5/5
It was a nice friendly and clean place to stay good choice
- 5/5
Cozy and clean
- 4/5
Pretty much true to other posted ratings and comments -- a good hotel... a tad bit below the general high standards of other Residence Inn, but nothing horrible. Clean... breakfast was fine ... front desk service was excellent!
- 5/5
Nice lady greated me upon arrival. Everything was clean and in working order. Good amenities. Exceeded expectations, especially considering the price.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely friendly and chatty. Room was clean and beds were really comfortable and thats saying something as I'm a picky about beds. The couch wasnt all that comfortable but the chair was. Breakfast good with lots of choices although my son was extremely disappointed there wasn't a waffle maker which is his favorite breakfast item when staying at a hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, well attentive and friendly. Hotel was clean and well maintained.
- 4/5
Change our bedroom sheets on our 2 nd stay . Was that part of your policy?
- 4/5
The gym is mainly just treadmills though.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel for families, clean, comfortable and updated. Best free hot and cold breakfast I’ve ever had with gluten-free and non dairy options. Wonderful, friendly staff. 10 minutes from the metro stop.
- 3/5
One reason I picked this hotel was the images of the pool and hot tub . Was disappointed to find that they were not in working order nor was the fire pit as well
- 5/5
The staff (Wendy & Ty) were VERY helpful and polite. Ran into a small snag and Wendy was willing and able to fix it (Thanks Wendy) Ty helped with a late check-in and was very polite (Thanks Ty)
- 3/5
There was nothing unique about the property. It wasn't well staffed at all and there were 4 other hotels right there.
- 3/5
It was a weekend trip with my family, the hotel is in a good area near stores and restaurants. The landscaping was not up to par, the lights on the back side of the entrance where our room was were out so it was very dark at night. Our room was comfortable but our toilet flooded on the second day there which they fixed immediately. Then the main light switch had a shortage, and the air conditioning was very loud. This hotel needs some major upgrades but overall we made it through.
- 5/5
The person working the front desk was super friendly. I asked for early check in and he was able to call my phone when the room was ready, which was extremely convenient. The room was clean and the kitchenette was very helpful. Overall, this hotel did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations.
- 4/5
The only issue was the AC vent was over the bed and it was frustrating at times
- 5/5
We had to stay for a week in between moves, and the stay here was perfect. We were able to move in early and the room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Loved this property! Super comfortable suite for wife and self. Great condition and awesome accommodations. Only needed one night on our driving trip but would be very happy here much longer! Odd shower setup but that might be my fussiness.
- 5/5
Was very comfortable and clean breakfast was good
- 5/5
I really liked this place and will come back again. The room was very clean, quiet, and the staff very helpful. Continental breakfast was available. The kitchenette has everything you need, including a large frig and even had a dishwasher. Located in a nice area.
- 5/5
This is an excellent hotel and I would definitely stay here again in the future. The room I stayed in was recently refinished and was very clean. There were no noise issues at all which was rather surprising given that they were refinishing all of the rooms on the floor directly below mine. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. The breakfast buffet was abundent in the choices that were offered, including hot items that changed each day. Overall, it was one of the best, if not the best stay I've ever had in a hotel!
- 5/5
Absolutely Fabulous
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were polite.
- 4/5
It was a great experience minus housekeeping not coming to clean and it take out trash while i was staying there
- 5/5
Very accommodating. Staff was excellent. Facilities could use updating. Could have been cleaner, many marks on walls, wallpaper looks old.
- 3/5
We didn't like that there was no clock in the room, except for on the microwave, which couldn't be seen from the bed. Also, the clock wasn't even set when we got there. We also didn't like that there was no housekeeping on the weekends, though we understand that it may be beacuse of COVID. But we did run out of room in our garbage cans because nobody had emptied them. We were sad the hot tub was closed, since we specifically booked this property because it had one.
