A Mexican restaurant was recently open like literally next to the hotel. Employees from that restaurant are always so loud you can hear it from your bedroom. All you smell is weed. They play their music so loud. I requested a pack n play. I received the email notification confirming that they will have it. Turns out the hotel does not offer crib nor pack n play service. The hair blow dryer did not work in the room. I also asked if I could get a room in the first floor because I had a 2 yr old and I didn’t want to have him on the second floor. I was told they would move me to the first floor the next day. But they never did. I came for a family members funeral, this was not a vacation for me. I also booked it because it was closer to the funeral home.

The room outwardly looks clean but I noticed in the morning, in the daylight, a film of black mold on the ceiling. Also, The facility has a policy to only clean the room upon request. I had reserved 2 nights because other family members had already reserved rooms here for a family emergency, so I stayed my 2 nights and checked out. Yes, there is a breakfast but it isn’t huge. The breakfast consists of some pastries, waffle maker and some fried eggs (frozen and reheated) with sausage patties and biscuits. There were some bananas, bread and peanut butter. The coffee is very good.

It was a ok hotel. Little run down, room smelled a little musky. Work for a cheap 1 night stay. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Great location and could walk to some shopping. Clean room, breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, loads of parking and a very nice looking inviting pool-even though our schedule didn’t allow us time to use the pool. Nice to know it was there. Location was both close to family and to Ft. De Soto beach which made daily travel easy.

You could smell the people smoking outside through the gap from the door to the floor. We had to put a towel down so we didn’t have to smell it.

Quick check in very nice staff . Breaks fast was limited not a lot of varieties but enough to start the day. Rooms are not bad just the room u got had a strong smell of cigars and we do not smoke . Also might need some insulation I was awake at 6 am by the neighbor kids he was very loud . But conveniently close to nice places affordable prices . We got there late but kids that got earlier enjoyed the pool.

I had to change my bed sheets on one of the beds myself after checking in late. Staff was fine. Breakfast was small. Parking was fine.

Breakfast disappointing - only hot items other than waffles was crock pot sausage gravy, sausage patties and hard eggs every morning. The gravy was the same crock pot 4 of the 5 days I was there. Variety would be nice.

Easy to find and conveniently located near major roads and plenty of restaurants. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast this time. I would definitely recommend this place!

Breakfast was good and had everything you'd expect for a hotel breakfast. Good coffee! Pool was clean, nice temperature. Although parts of the hotel looked aged (peeling paint on doors, ceiling in bathroom), other things have been updated and really help the appearance of the room (such as flooring). Beds were clean and comfortable. Pullout sofa bed not so comfortable... Kitchenette had a small table and chair, stove and mini fridge with some cabinets. Cabinets were empty, no cooking supplies or utensils that I saw, so you'd need to bring your own. I thought it was odd to have a stove but nothing to cook with, as kitchenettes in hotels usually have those items. Also the mini fridge was just that, no freezer. Bathroom appeared clean, mounted shampoo/conditioner. My biggest complaint would be the room floors were filthy. They did appear clean, but after my kids had taken their shoes off and been barefoot in the room, the bottoms of their feet were black. Easy check-in and checkout, friendly staff.

The rooms were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom, however, needed some work. The toilet wouldn’t flush unless you kept the handle down the whole time, the door didn’t close unless you really pushed it hard. I reached out of the shower to get a washcloth Off the shelf and when I looked at it, there was black mascara on it. It had never been cleaned from the previous occupants.

Parking was easy. It was nice to have shops nearby.

First thing we saw was a cockroach crawling up the wall when we got there. Management did offer to move us to different room next day. However other guest told us it was a waste of time. Every time we got out of our car in the evening we were chased to our room because of Racoons who would chase our children and would follow us around. I could not go get ice as racoons would follow me. The staff in the area of breakfast was rude to several of the guests. The dryers here do heat up but will not dry you clothes unless you run dryer three times. Which you will have to pay extra. I asked housekeeping to sweep and change out garbage cans. They just ignored me so I had to go to get towels and take my garbage to dumpster on the property.

Room was dirty floor and bed. Not was cleaning. We have to walk with crocs on because the floor have like 1 week not been mop. Some cover on the mattress was with chocolate spot and grease from food. Like some one eat there.

The hotel is clearly an older establishment, and that shows in some areas, but there were also a few positives worth noting. The staff was courteous throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a broad selection of hot, fresh options. Our room was clean. The pool area was also well maintained, with clean water and plenty of seating available. However, there were a few concerns. The shower head had noticeable mold or buildup around it-possibly due to hard water- and the bed was not comfortable. While these issues didn’t ruin our short two night stay, they would make it difficult for me to choose this hotel for a longer stay. With some additional maintenance and attention to comfort, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

The property is a bit dated even though the rooms have been renovated. The room was clean and shower was amazing in room 108. Breakfast was good as well. Overall Id stay her again, I'd just request to be removed away from the ice machine. We heard the noise through the wall every time someone went for ice.

First room was tiny. Very few guests, but still the man at the desk did not want to let us move or upgrade since we had "used" the room - i.e. walked in and seen it. Finally? he relented. New room (we paid difference for a kitchen) had rusty fridge, peeling microwave, and breaking bench. Second night, a group parked a new truck near the pool area and blasted salsa music and talked very loudly. After 2 calls, the staff finally took care of it (11 pm).

On the third day, no one came and did house cleaning and we had no towers or washcloth and they said that the do not disturb sign was on, but I know when I took the kids to school for breakfast it was not there so someone was being lazy and didn’t wanna clean our room and we went without washcloth or wash towels For one night and they told me in the morning housekeeping will be there and no one still came. I had to call down again and make sure they

Due to a work association, I saw pool and hot tub on the websites amenities. When I checked in, there was no hot tub and pool was closed at 9pm. Bed was hard. Pillows were soft which helped me sleep. Attendant was kind and courteous but couldn't explain why hot tub was on the website. She joked that maybe soneone meant the tub water in the room was hot. Funny but is still false advertising. I suggested that leadership make changes to website. Breakfast was good.

I like staying at the Comfort Inn, but they’re not keeping the place up since remodeling. The shower was either very hot or scalding hot, bathroom faucet was very loose and flopped around, paint was chipped and scraped, and the furniture showing wear and tear.

My second time staying there. The staff was very pleasant and attentive

I didn’t stay, that’s how bad we’re the rooms were, so I will like a refund.

It was average in quality all the way around. The rooms were clean and area somewhat nice outside. Some construction spots on property to walk around. Breakfast was okay at best. Coffee cups way too small. For the price we were satisfied overall.

It was a good room, but we had to ask for towels and hand them the garbage bags. The maids we saw did not speak English (they said) so we never got fresh bedding for the week we were there. The swimming pool was being repaired the whole week.

Guest laundry was upstairs but got the job done! My suite had a kitchen and was perfect! Kitchen supplies are available if needed didn't know so I brought and bought my own! They also allowed my grandkids to eat and swim with me which I. Appreciated very much! ADA LAW: YOU CANNOT CHARGE PET FEES FOR A SERVICE ANIMAL: AND I WAS......BUT I DID GET IT BACK!!! We stayed here before and stayed at a resort...we chose this comfort inn over this POS INN ON THE BEACH!!!! Beds are comfy to 😁

They need to actually clean the sheets and/or replace them. The staff were great but clean sheets are a help. People had large dogs next door that howled every so often and chatted inro the wee hours while smoking.

A bit of paint won’t cover up what horrible condition this hotel was in. There were dead bats in the fridge and all over the room, food dripping down the walls, a booger on the headboard. It was disgusting. The floors were sticky. God knows what I would have found with a black light. Construction crews (I think were guests) hanging out partying and drinking till early hours with paper thin walls and doors. No rest.

I booked the suite that has two queen size beds and a sofa bed. The two queen size beds were clean and comfortable, but the sofa bed had sheets that were dirty with food crumbs and hair. We have a family of 5, and no one wanted to sleep on the sofa bed.

My first thoughts were its a cute hotel ,nice pool and nice staff . The room was another storty we got a suite. There were supposed to have dishes/pots and pan. It was never advertised that you needed to request those items before checking in. The closet door was broken so it wouldn't shut .No top blanket as shown in pictures. Worse part was there was boogiers all over the walls next to the beds and red stuff sprayed on the ceiling. The kitchen was covered with food sprayed all over the walls. I didnt realized until our last day that there were a few baby cockroaches... I wouldn't recommend this place. Cleaning staff and the front desk lady were very nice .

Pretty run down rooms. Couch was really dirty. No extra sheets or blankets. Mini kitchen but nothing in it. Bathroom facet trickled water. Very perfumed from cleaning agent or trying to cover up smoker. Dirty floors.

The area

My room is very spacious and extremely clean! The bed is super comfy and I love the goose down pillows. I also love that the entire hotel is 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking ereas outside the rooms. The rooms smells AMAZING ❣️💯

The room was comfortable enough but after my shower I walked around barefoot. Within a few minutes the bottoms of my feet were filthy, like the floor hadn’t been mopped in a couple weeks.

It was clean, conveniently located right off of highway and several restaurants. Breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Staff were friendly. I would definitely stay again.

For the price the conditions were fair to middling. The hotel is dated and the bed was awful. The springs were practically poking out the mattress. The a/c was droning and loud all night long. At least there was no bedbugs. The coffee at breakfast was good though.

Clean and quiet

Breakfast women was very rude / unfriendly. Placed frozen muffins and pastry in container afer requesting she fill it. Two couples were told to use the microwave to unthaw them. Only 4 yogurts available, due to " waiting for our truck". Small bkft area for size of hotel, in 45 min. never saw a table wiped.

Cheep and dirty place, we were all sick after staying there. Also way overpriced, paid $250 per night.

There was a group upstairs partying and was extremely loud. The staff finally ran them off at 3 am. The hotel looked to have been recently renovated. The kitchen had no dishes website says to request them. We didn't because we were constantly on the go.

They need to clean house with the cleaning staff. 1st room bed was dirty with black spots and black curly hair. It appeared not to have been cleaned. Ww required another room . That bed was cleaner but the tub had the same kind of hair stuck to the shower and tub walls. The ac unit didn't work properly. It appeared to be short cycling. Couldn't get any heat to work. If it hadn't been so late I would left to find another motel. I will never stay there again.

Our stay was horrible. There were hundreds of bugs all in the bathroom and stuck on the ceiling. The front door didn't close and the bugs were coming in. No one fixed it!!! Then there was no aerator in the bathroom sink and the water was splashing everywhere. No one fixed it!! The fluorescent light in the bathroom was flickering and no one came to change it!!! The breakfast was not good at all. We stood for 6 days and I would like my money back. This was the most horrible stay in any motel we stood at!! Shame on you people for robbing working prople like you do. Never again!!!

Staff was honest about what could be resolved before check out but $160 per night without a functioning toilet or door lock is something that I will take up. I have video and nothing else to do in Sun City Fl . Came to visit my Dad for Thanksgiving. They ran out of room. I opted for your co.

Breakfast was great. Lots the choose from. The problem was for a Non smoking hotel Somehow cigarette scent was in the room, the bathroom not sure if it was coming through the vent in the bathroom or the outside.

Great location, because it's one of the only hotels in the Sun City Center area, however, beware that your neighbor may be smoking pot and drinking until 3am. Both nights. Different neighbor. Outside your hotel room on the "balcony" where your door opens so you can get to the parking lot. One room had a cat, the other a dog, and others yet - people doing drugs, making the hotel VERY unsafe and uncomfortable. My wife and I did not feel safe.

The rooms are very nice and well-appointed. One odd thing was that I had a fully equipped kitchen but nothing in the cupboards to cook or serve with.

"Free breakfast" may of well said "Free of food breakfast". Pretty well wiped out and not replenished my whole stay. Very dated property in need of a major face lift. I only stayed here because it was all that was available. House keeping left 3 bath, hand towels and wash cloths when I requested the room be services. No replenished coffee pods, Cream or sugar packets, cups, Kleenex, toilet paper or soaps. Even after reporting to the front desk, no replenishments. Must be strapped for cash. Even the garbage can liners were not replaced. Very noisy as well as doors and windows need replacing.

Room had a strong foul smell. Staff offered only air freshener. Never shows up with it. One of the beds was noisy and uncomfortable. Again indifferent response “what do you want me to do”. Ask for manager. Not there. Ask again next day as checkout early after 1 of 4 nights. Still waiting for manager response. Will ask for refund

The hotel called the guest to verify if the guest was coming. The guest confirms and then the hotel still cancels their reservation. That was unacceptable!

Staff nice, esp Raj, and room good. Mattress and comforter good. AC good. Table for working, eating was good. Breakfast was good. CON Refrigerator was not cold enough to store left-overs safely. Entrance to Comfort Inn was a little confusing.

It was a pretty average experience. Nothing to write home about. Wonder why they ask for your address at check-in what’s the point? Another location didn’t even bother asking.

Stay was ok. Guests in next room were loud and obnoxious. Shower curtain rod broken so you could not use shower curtain to keep the bathroom floor dry. Pool hours were not dusk to dawn but instead 9 am to 9 pm

Although the property is old, it was clean. Friendly staff. We didn't spend much time in the room. It’s a good place for a restful sleep.

He said that was their policy. But then he shredded it after I insisted that was not normal. If it was policy why did he shred it…that was very suspicious!

No tv remote, tried to call the desk but the phone had no cord. Recently updated but they were obviosly more on substance and not detail. Fridge had a high pitch to it and the a/c you went from freezing to sweating as it cycled. Got very little sleep. I thought i would save a few backs from the other side of the insterstate but when i come back in the spring i will go back to the tried and true.

I had a great stay here, and was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the room, the comfort of the beds, and the quality of the breakfast. I wanted to write a special review because of the service I received. I had come into town for a funeral, and I arrived early from a red eye flight and needed an early check-in and without hesitation, they accommodated me and were so kind.
