Location.. only 3 floors.. great lobby and outside area. The refrigerator was out upon arrival but they did come and replace it.. Had a big storm while we were there so the electricity went out . I had to walk 3 up and down 3 floors .

I was on 2nd story and the people in the room on the third floor above us was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep so the rooms are not well insulated. Otherwise the rims were clean and the air conditioner worked good that’s why I gave it a three star.

Everything was great comfortable stay

The rooms were nice enough, nothing too modern or noteworthy. The location was terrible to drive to— getting on and off the highway right at the turn into this property was difficult and inconvenient with any traffic. Also, this is the first and ONLY time ever I have had to pay for parking in Dallas.

The location was within a mile of everything we wanted and Kendall the front desk agent was phenomenal. Great Job!! I was told by the front desk morning representative on 12Feb (Thursday morning) to call the front desk on 14 Feb 2026 Saturday morning to request a extension of stay, I called spoke to the front desk and was told, okay I will take care of it, no problem, but to my surprise, my husband and I, came down to eat breakfast and check to make sure the representative updated our stay, we were advised by the representative I spoke to she did not know how to update the reservation and left a note for the representative who checked us in on Thursday, while standing there she picked up the sticky note on the desk and handed it to the Representative and stated I did not know how to update the reservations because we are sold out, I then asked the representative, you advised me you would note the account, she replied no I did not, it’s not a guarantee to extend your stay, I than stated that’s what you told us, you said no problem call the front desk, so why would you tell us that and now you and the other staff are saying you are sold out, which sent us into a panic attack because we had a marriage enrichment session at 10am that morning, fearful it was about to be a disaster trying to find another hotel, knowing that most of them would be sold out because of the Valentine’s weekend. Finally, about 30 minutes into the major mixup she was able to extend our stay after repeating to them over, over, over and over again we are from Michigan and have no place to stay.

Rooms were very clean and spacious for being a one bedroom staff was kind and welcoming every single time. Location was convenient and everything was close by highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel like a home away from home. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bar in the lobby was very convenient for cocktails and food. The 1 thing I had an issue with was the parking. Unless you checked in by 4pm (talked to anonymous employee) and didn't leave in your vehicle. You had to park around the side or in the back. Which is not all that big of a deal except you had to walk to the front entrance to get in. So this didn't sit too well when i was charged a parking fee that was never spoke of on the website I booked it through...(expedia). Overall, it was a pleasant stay will traveling.

It was in a shopping complex so you can walk to a variety of stores The bathroom had a strong odor, reminiscent of old sewer, so I kept the door closed to avoid the smell. Additionally, the breakfast offering was limited. Instead of a standard buffet, I received a slip to choose one item - either a bagel, oatmeal, fruit cup, breakfast sandwich, or French toast - along with one beverage. This format was quite different from what I expected."

The pool was closed the whole weekend.

Our stay was great. The front desk even gave me red card stock paper and marker for a note to set with the Elf on the Shelf for my grandson.

All was good except the elevator was down and we had to walk up multiple flights of stairs. They predicted it to be fixed soon but they won’t help at our stay. Otherwise the room was clean, the staff was friendly, the area seems safe and tucked away behind some restaurants.

Clean and quiet, but there’s no safe in the room. The process to store and retrieve personal item in the safe boxes at reception isn’t well organized.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious with a nice walk in shower that had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all ready to use! Bathrooms were clean. Has a nice outdoor seating area to wind down with too! Seems fairly new.

Everything was fine we got moved to a different room because our tv was not working but excellent service from lobby.

Like how the room was arranged with the couch ant the ottoman gave the room a different feel and look from other hotels. There was a weird vent in the room that had hot air blowing out of it that seemed to be coming from between the floors.

Very clean facility, the evening staff were all very cheerful and friendly! Made check in super easy and accommodating. The beds are so comfy and the pool was a nice escape.

Front desk was very welcoming! Beds were very comfortable! However, entry door would get stuck when we were trying to enter the room. Showering was a challenge too. We would get half of the water pressure coming out of the shower head and the other half coming out of the bath faucet.

We stayed here when we went to some Rangers games and it was an easy distance from the stadium without the stadium prices. Pool was closed but there is a good kid’s park called PlayGrand Adventures less than 5 minutes away. Easy check in and no hassle. Would stay here again.

Was just in town for a night. Staff was great and the room was very clean. Met a couple of the cleaning ladies in the elevator and they were the sweetest ladies!! They damn sure deserve a raise for keeping the building VERY clean!!

They charge to park in the lot and the cheapness of this place only starts there! They don’t even stock the room with enough free coffee for two people in a two bed room. They only clean the rooms every other day and straight up tell you that if you need anything you should come to the front desk and get it yourself. Although the staff is probably watching the tv in the lounge and not even there to help you?!?

It is a nice property but the man at the front desk was highly combative from the second I walked in the door. I am the owner of a construction company and had been in the field all day helping my guys so I understand I was dirty and needed to get to my room to clean up. He insisted on me using a card of his choosing for the deposit I declined and swiped the card I wanted to which was successfully charged (they were both Visa’s) went to my room cleaned up then went to eat. Upon returning he demanded that I go back and swipe the card HE wanted, being exhausted from the day and not in the mood to argue with this petulant child any longer I complied swiped the card and headed to my room only to find out he had disabled my door so I could not enter the room. When I asked why my key was turned off he just laughed and smirked then informed me I could go ahead and check out now with no refund. The most combative thing I said was this whole situation was pretty freaking petty. I expected way more from Marriott not to be treated like trash just because I put in a hard days work. I will be returning to staying exclusively at la Quinta again where I can at least check in without being harassed

Stayed 3 nights here. Clean room, available and safe parking, many stores/food places nearby that are walkable, friendly staff. Only downside is the TV not having many channels and the streaming services not working. Still great experience here.

This will be my new go-to for when we come to the Arlington/Grand Prairie area.

Nice, clean, helpful staff, family friendly. We love the fact that it was a bar and dinner served until 10 pm.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff especially Natasha at the front desk and Jerry in the bistro. We had a problem with the coffee pot in our room and Natasha went above and beyond to take care of it. Very satisfied with our stay and we'll definitely stay again if in the area.

This hotel is new so it was clean and functional. It was nice aesthetically. I didn't like how you could hear others go in and out of rooms. It sounded like they were in our room it was so loud. The guest across the hall was going in and out so much so that was annoying. The light from the hallway was clearly visible through the cracks in the door, so i guess it wasn't sealed well. Another downside was the bed was hard and the sheets and comforter was so scratchy and not soft at all!!

Rooms were clean and bed was super comfy! Night staff was very attentive and nice.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by an exceptionally friendly front desk associate.  His pleasant demeanor was so remarkable that my wife couldn't resist asking for his name at the time of our departure.  We were informed that his name was Joseph, and to our surprise, he had only been with the hotel for three weeks. This level of service left a lasting impression on us.   Our room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean. However, I do have one minor complaint.  Upon our return from a late-night concert, we retired for the evening.  As I slipped into bed, I noticed that the fitted sheet on my side was slightly rough due to pilling, while my wife’s side was perfectly smooth.  This small issue did affect my sleep, but it was my oversight not to bring it to the attention of the front desk. Despite this, the overall cleanliness of the room was reassuring.   In conclusion, our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Grand Prairie was largely positive. Will we consider returning in the future?  Absolutely. However, I will make it a point to check the sheets immediately upon check-in to ensure a restful night's sleep.

The fact that I booked the hotel, the check on time was not the needed time and WITHIN THE HOUR, Expedia decided to keep my funds! I have booked with Expedia for years and they could care less!! Took my money and refused a refund WITHIN THE HOUR!!!

The room looked nice and the person working at the front desk were amazing. But I hated the room. I could sleep every time the person on the from the room above used the restroom I could hear the water from the flush for 20mins in the wall. Crazy thing they have the bed on the same wall. It got so bad I left in the middle of the night.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The site states there was room service but there was nothing in the room to offer room service. Overall a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again.

Awesome room, clean and bigger room that the usual rooms with plenty of space to walk around and very nice showers. The only thing is that theres no free breakfast, but the Hotel is excellent and new looking for the price., 5 star Hotel.

Everything else is fine. Front desk personnel are great. By very disappointed on the housekeeping crews. Spent 4 nights from 21 to 25. No housekeeping at all during our stay. I asked the front desk, she showed me they marked us “do not disturb” which we never did. The trash piled up in our room because we have two kids. We have to threw the trash bad ourselves.

Clean hotel nice area!

My only complaint would be that I was charged a parking recapture fee even though I didn’t have a car. Luckily I looked at my digitally bill and had it adjusted on the spot. I would suggest confirming that a guest has a car before automatically charging this fee

The check-in was extremely quick which was amazing. The only thing that could be better was the price to the alcohol in their market. A single bottled beer was $10 which seems incredibly excessive. Especially given that the bar was not open anymore.
