Mattresses are hard as a rock

While staying there for a CMU tour, there was a kitchen fire or something. Tons of smoke and the smell of burnt hamburgers during our stay. No fan system going or anything. More like a motel 6.

We used the airport shuttle and it was very handy

Not as clean as I’d hoped. Shower was moldy.

The room was great and clean! The bed’s were okay, of course not like at home but for a hotel they were good. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and got us into our room fast. We arrived right at 3pm and had some place to be but wanted to unpack out stuff first. The gal at the desk called up and got a room for us quickly, even though at first they said we would have to wait 30 mins or so. We really appreciated that! The breakfast that we had vouchers for was awful! I feel badly for anyone that actually paid for breakfast, and the voucher was not included in the cost of the room. Very, very burnt bacon, the potatoes sounded likes stones being dumped on the plate and our “server” never brought us cream for our coffee and only filled my cup about 1/4 way full. I went in the lobby and made my husband and I cups of coffee. The juice machine was broken so they brought around orange juice with ice in it lol. Very watered down to say the least! We had vouchers for both mornings but after that first experience we chose to skip the breakfast and eat at Village Inn. We would stay again, but definitely not eat the breakfast. We did not use the pool or drink the coffee in the room so the amenities we would not know much about.

None of our requests were met. The TV by the bed did not work. The window was wide open so it was an ice box. The bathroom was filthy. All we did was sleep, shower and leave. It was so uncomfortable. I let the front desk con me into joining some stupid thing for a late check out and none of it was worth it. Honestly I think we deserve a refund.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating of any requests we made. Breakfast was buffet style, although there was also a menu you could order off of. The buffet breakfast choices were simple but adequate.

A decent place to spend a night.

There was not nearly enough parking in the lot. The room was clean. The bed firm, maybe too firm.

This hotel canceled our room when we were minutes away, saying that they had overbooked. We had been in the backcountry for a week and were anxious for amenities, especially our young kids who were ready to shower and swim (the pool was why we booked this location). Then they told us we may or may not get our money back. They were less than helpful, rude even, in a stressful moment.

Clean and comfortable room and beds! Our room was on the highway side of the hotel. We were awoken at 5:00 am when the garbage truck emptied the dumpster outside and a few rooms down from ours. Around 6:30 am, the highway traffic noise was noticeable through the room windows. Woke up earlier than planned.

Spent our last night here after a trip in Moab. It’s a nice property and the staff is very accommodating. We had an early flight and the shuttle driver was able to take us at 5:45 AM. It’s very close to the airport and we easily made our 7 AM flight as it’s a very small airport. Room was clean and bed was comfy. We liked having a mini fridge in our room. Parking was easy.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly on arrival. The hotel itself was dated but adequate given the price of the hotel. The location was convenient and near plenty of restaurants and coffee. The pool was a hit with my kids!

Our room faced I-70 and it was noisy. Rooms and hallway's needs to be updated. Need to include complimentary breakfast.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had our 11 lb.dog with us, were charged $35 to have her with us, and there was no place to walk her. We were charged $10/ person to have breakfast which was not nearly as good as other hotels who provide free breakfast. And I'm not sure when towels in the bathroom started to be rationed.

Not the hotels fault but some of the guests were dogs letting their kids run up and down the hallway for a bit, otherwise it was great.

Four staying, only 3 towels. Breakfast opened 15 minutes late, one coffee refill, none in the lobby.

There was a Lacrosse team staying there and they were very loud but that is not the fault of the hotel

The room was very comfortable and clean The breakfast Buffett for 15.00 was complimentary breakfast style. Lacked any real buffet style food and was not worth $15.00 at all. Would not recommend at all.

Hallway had trash and clothing in it and the room was very loud with the freeway just yards from the back of hotel. I understand that that loud care are not the hotels fault, but maybe window could be sound proofed better

Lobby and common places very inviting. Room was a little beat up, furniture had seen better days, new coat of paint would make a difference, bed was ok, tv good size, staff was great, location ok. I’ve stayed at better Holiday Inns, this one is getting dated pretty quick as far as rooms go.

I didn't participate in the breakfast, but the dinner and bar were fine. I loved the bartender, she made me feel comfortable even though I as traveling alone. The room temperature was easy to use, so I was very comfortable. Being older, I found it hard to operate the TV--instructions might have helped! But I did get it working. Most importantly the bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and fully stocked with linens and soap and shampoo and of course a working blow dryer and there was a decent sized refrigerator for my leftovers from dinner. And the location was very convenient to where I needed to go.

The staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. They kept in contact with us before our stay and right after check out. Clean rooms and very accessible.

Hearing a dog run and bark all night long on the floor above my room. Heard all the plumbing systems drain in all adjacent rooms. Did not sleep. All this with a long event I had to attend the next day and a six hour drive home afterwards! And not mention hair all over the bathroom and hair on supposedly clean towels!

Restaurant inside Hotel was not good, food tasted like it was frozen and then warmed in microwave, I wasn’t given and itemized receipt, I had to ask for it before paying. The room was clean but the TV didn’t work.

The bathroom shower in 212 had mold all over. The hotel is dog friendly but there is no grass on property. The hotel is a little dated. Seems like management is trying to keep costs down to a bare minimum. The price they charge doesn’t warrant the services provided they do not have any complimentary toiletries. It served our one night stay.

No front desk attendant when checking in @6:30pm- sign said “be right back”, took 15+ min to be right back. Then sent to a room which was already occupied, had to go back to lobby for new room. Front desk person said “what room did you go to and that’s weird” no apology. Pink mold in shower corners. Short bedding so comforter only came to chest. Stayed in hundreds of hotels- first time writing negative review.

It would be great if the bar stayed open longer than 9 pm that was kind of why we booked this hotel. It would also help if the restaurant was open longer as well.

On the first morning breakfast attendant was super friendly and fast service. 2nd time we went for breakfast thought it would be our best option on Labor Day ended up being really understaffed felt sorry for the breakfast attendant who had only her serving a full restaurant by herself. It took an hour and a half to get our food and we were on a tight schedule but knew it wasn't her fault. Bed was very uncomfortable with spring popping into what i had was an already bad back. Many long black hairs on shower wall and shampoo dispenser. Hot tub was nice. 2nd time staying here but hopefully next time the beds will be replaced by then.

Best stay of my trip! I was in Colorado for 17 days, traveling from east to west, and never stayed in a more comfortable, quiet and pleasant place than here. My room was large, well equipped, and quiet,.the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rate was excellent!I will stay here again!

One waitress in the restaurant for breakfast. She was so ditzy every single table got the wrong order. Nine tables all discussing and trading food to try and recreate our order. She seemed high as a kite. I have never seen anything like it.

Best property in the immediate area but not many food options nearby. Easy access just off interstate 70. Good onsite restaurant and nice swimming pool and hot tube.

The bed was horribly hard! The over all property was great. The restaurant dinner was very good…but the bed was awful!

I called multiple times and they didn’t answer. You have to pay for breakfast and even though the staff was working very hard they were sorely understaffed.

Nice room for an overnight stay

The TV in the room did not work. We asked for assistance, but the staff member was unable to correct the problem. She said that the maintenance staff member was unavailable. The atmosphere was noisy. The people in the room above us were dropping items on the floor until late in the night. The restaurant was poorly staffed; tables were not cleared of dirty dishes, and the food was terrible. Other customers complained. I was concerned that one customer was threatening the manager about the poor service. I will never stay at this motel again. We left this Holiday Inn and traveled to a Holiday Inn in West Des Moines where our experience was considerably more pleasant. The only reason that I am not giving my rating a lower mark is that the service at the restaurant was pleasant, but she appeared ready to walk off the job due to frustration. The establishment is in critical need of major improvements!

It was decent. We heard a lot of traffic in the early mornings. Breakfast was just mediocre for the cost. The desk staff all seemed friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean. I like the dove products in the bathroom.

Check in with super easy and smooth very friendly Front Desk at that time. I noticed lots of dogs checking in as well, which is always a nice feature however, barking dogs in the middle of the night does not help somebody get a good night rest when you’re ready can hear the traffic outside your window. I end up waking up, staying up and checking out at 2 AM when the front desk was not helpful with checkout was not helpful with my concerns of the barking dog. The room itself needed to be vacuumed. There was lots of stuff left on the floor from somebody prior to me, which is gross.. Walking to my car Out of it and walking to my car to leave dog poop. Nice location, but I will never stay here and I do not recommend.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this Holiday Inn! The room was outstanding and sparkling clean. It was very comfortable and quiet. Easy to reach the airport (4 minutes). The restaurant on site had friendly staff and great food. Would stay there again, absolutely.

My only slight complaint would be that the airport shuttle was not available at time of our flight (which was early granted). But the front desk women arranged a taxi for us. So it worked out

Everything was very clean, quiet and relaxing. This meant a lot as we were in a huge hurry. Beds were very comfortable, and we both fell asleep right away, which is hard for me. Holiday Inn is my favorite and only hotel chain I use.

Overall the rating was good although I requested the quiet side and was placed on the highway side. Asked for quiet floor upper and ended up with floor that had kids running up and down hallways.

Over a seven night stay, we received housekeeping only twice. Front desk woman was rude when asked twice about why we weren’t receiving service.

The staff was willing for us to check in early and called to say rooms were ready but when we arrived, they were not quite ready. Other than that miscommunication, it was great. Breakfast was good and reasonable. Parking available and we felt safe. Slept really well!

There was damage to elevator. Pool facilites were lacking. Very heavy clorine.

The staff made this place. We had our three children with us and they made sure we they ate free whenever we decided dine in the restaurant (which had decent food). We would stay here again.

The only thing they need to improve on, is the stairwell could’ve used some vacuuming. But I would highly recommend this place.
