Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about their stay at this hotel. While some appreciate the cleanliness and friendly staff, others express disappointment with hidden fees, uncomfortable beds, and poor dining options.

Room was clean and neat and smelled clean.

Clean room, good location
- 1.5/5
No breakfast, have to pay for parking, and the room quality is poor. For example, the shower stall had obvious and bad water damage.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel and close to everything. The only issue we had was that we paid $10 per day for parking and each night when we returned parking was very hard to find and very inconvenient to park at the back of the lot with between big trucks in small spaces.
- 3/5
Not a 24 hour shuttle from airport - reason we rented this hotel - only runs from 6a-6p. I am disabled and had to walk from airport to hotel at 9 pm - unable to get a Lyft/UBER or taxi to drive me there. Pool was in an adjoining hotel - had to go outside and into another hotel to utilize it.

The sound proofing is very poor.

Would not stay there again
- 4/5
The Happy Hour was actively promoted, but the pricing only applied to limited items. A bit misleading.
- 2/5
Run down, dirty and had to pay extra for parking!

They charge us for parking. Modern design interior. Bed and couches were comfortable.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and tidy.
- 4/5
Small gym, comfy bed & pillows. Easy access from 70, good restaurants in area. Can walk on horizon drive to get some steps in if the traffic doesn’t bother you.

There is no pool here, you have to go the next hotel over and even then it was FRIGID you couldn’t even swim. One front desk lady was very rude
- 3/5
My room was clean however, the faucet was falling off the wall in the bathroom, the lock broke on my son's room and they ended up having to switch rooms. The staff at the front desk was rude when I arrived. I found the breakfast to be very pricey for what I received.
- 3/5
Very disappointed that I was charged for parking
- 5/5
Clean room, just needed more body wash in the refill container
- 3/5
There were a lot of things in disrepair. 5 floors and only one ice maker on the 3rd floor was working. The fire alarm went off in the morning around 9am so we jumped out of bed thinking there was a fire. No fire. But they couldn’t get the fire alarm to turn off for about an hour. We had to leave so we didn’t go deaf. New carpet is needed in the hallways. The TV volume couldn’t go above half way, so if the heater or A/C was on, you couldn’t hear the TV unless you sat on the end of the bed right in front of it. It was a 32” TV, so to see it you had to sit in front of it anyway.
- 3/5
Staff was great. The young lady th at t checked us in could use an attitude adjustment. Charging a parking fee seemed like gouging. No security no parking garage nothing but a half empty lot. I received nothing for my fee. Had an issue with house keeping concerning when they did the housekeeping and what was done. Ok once the communication issue was solved
- 4/5
Staff was very good. The young lady that checked us in could have been a little more poditive. We had a communication issue with house keeping. It had to with when we had it and what was done. Once it was cleared up the did ok. The parking fee was an irritant. Large lot half empty. If it was a parking garage I might understand but it seemed a tactic to o gouge.
- 5/5
Room was clean, well put together, the staff was welcoming and kind, food and drinks were also amazing!
- 2/5
room wasn't serviced, pillows were awful, no hot water in the morning, smoke in the room from smoking area outside... i could go on. only positives are location and friendly staff
- 4/5
Room fitted what I needed and the bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. Just sucks that the bottles of water are so expensive up by the front desk and that you have to pay 10 dollars for parking every night because they're close to the airport?? I didn't even fly in.
- 3/5
Check in wasn’t that great. The front staff was studying something from a book and couldn’t take the time to do more than hand the keys over. She gave zero information about where our room was, check out time or any other hotel information. There was a huge party going on and loud bass music could be heard on the second floor until 10 PM. The bathroom floor was sticky and the grout was literally black. Overall not a terrible experience, just very meh.

Nice staff and ER stay when my flight was delayed overnight. The breakfast options were great too.
- 5/5
Night attendant was amazingly helpful
- 4/5
Very good
- 1/5
I booked a room with a sofa bed, when i checked in they didn’t tell me that didn’t have my room, and got stuck with a single bed.
- 4/5
Over all stay was good
- 4/5
All good but no lotion?? That’s carrying value engineering one step too far
- 4/5
This property is well maintained and the rooms are nice although somewhat small. I wish all motels would follow the choice model and move the vanity area out of the bathroom! The one downside here is the $10.00 per night parking fee!?!? Probably a deal breaker for us!
- 3.5/5
Air conditioner kept switching to cool
- 3.5/5
Room was clean and cozy Air conditioner kept switching to cool
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean room
- 4/5
No one was available when we checked in. There was another left that said, "be right back". We waited a few minutes and decided to go get dinner and come back. Also, having a shuttle that only runs 0800 to 5:00 p.m. isn't very helpful when you have early or late flights. We chose this hotel just for the shuttle service.
- 3/5
Surprised with a parking fee addition when we arrived.
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet, good size. Great staff all around.
- 5/5
Quiet. Convenient. Great Staff. Close to Airport
- 5/5
It is remarkable how friendly the staff are
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3/5
They don’t tell you but they charge for parking $10.00
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 4/5
Room is clean and walking distance to the airport.
- 5/5
Good spot
- 2/5
The bed and the pillows were not comfortable. I would suggest a number of capital investments to improve the rooms in general. Not what I was expecting given this was a Marriott property.
- 4/5
my bed sheets were wrinkled liked they had been slept in when I checked in, like they were not changed from previous person who stayed there.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 2/5
There was nobody at the front desk when we arrived. When she did come, she was grouchy.
- 3/5
We’ve stayed here twice for a week at a time and after the second time- I decided we will NOT be back. Paying for parking is annoying but I get it with a nearby airport. They have zero amenities. The building is outdated. No breakfast. It certainly doesn’t feel like a Marriott. There’s an upcharge for everything and the stay is not worth it.
- 3.5/5
Food services. Need to have a proper breakfast facility. Also prices at the bistro were outrageous.

The shower was stained and dirty, the toilet didn't flush correctly and the bed was insanely springy. Felt like you were sleeping on an air matress of springs.
- 2/5
Dirty towels still in the bathroom and the bed had dirt in it. Checked in so late I was too tired to notify the front desk. Just won’t be back
- 5/5
Perfect

I had been to Grand Junction on a girls trip and wanted to come back with my husband. We enjoyed seeing the different wineries and hiking in the National Parks. Experienced good food and an interesting city. We plan to return.
- 2/5
I've traveled a lot domestic and international. This hotel is in need of a major makeover. The room is less than accommodating. The AC is old and the unit on wall is taped shut as to not have access to the unit. The wall mounted AC controller didn't work. I alerted the staff. Honestly this is on the franchisee to put some money into this property. It's dated, old and smells old. The next night I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for the same money and it was brand new. Everything worked.
- 5/5
Not too clean. Very noisy. Doors sound like jail cell doors, way too loud.
- 3.5/5
Bar staff was nice. All staff was great It was quiet Room was freezing and I couldn't adjust it, tv is way to small for a 300 per night hotel Also 7 dollars for a soda was outrageous Very outdated
- 3/5
Rooms are ok but bare minimum. Needs upgrades We would probably not stay there again
- 5/5
The resort was very clean and close to the airport
- 5/5
Clean, convenient
- 2/5
The bed was not good. They had a foam mattress pad on top of the mattress and it caused bit of us to be hot and uncomfortable.
- 5/5
We normally stay here when we are returning from Lake Powell. When we stayed this time we were informed you were now charging parking fees. The lady was very pleasant and didn't charge us, but now that we know this we may choose another hotel in the future. We do love this hotel.
- 3/5
Charging $10 to park in an obscenely large desert lot is unnecessary. It a money grab. A lot of time was spent on landscaping and it has not had a good steward to take care of it. :/
- 1/5
The hotel is old, carpets are very dirty… the staff was nice, but I was glad we only had to spend one night there.
- 2/5
When fire alarms went off at 1:30 AM, staff were nowhere to be found. We had no idea what was happening and the company did little to nothing for compensation. We had to pry to get some sort of comp.
- 1/5
My family and I were woken up to a fire alarm at 1am that lasted until aprox 3am. AWFUL. There was no reason or explanation given by staff. We were just passing thru and needed rest for the next day.
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
We stopped for the night on the way to Michigan. The app said pets allowed but when I checked in there was a sign that said no pets allowed. The gal was very kind & allowed us to have our dog. She could tell we were tired as it was late
- 5/5
Extremely convenient to the airport for an early flight
- 4/5
Nice hotel, convenient location
- 1/5
So when we arrived the front desk staff very poor on checkin, after getting to our room which was on the 4th floor, the air conditioner was so loud you could not sleep at all, the beds were like sleeping on the ground. Horrible, the shower head shooting all over in the bathroom l, the bathroom door would not stay opened unless it was propped open with something. I have stayed at 1000s of Marriott Properties all over the world and this property I would never stay at again. And I would not recommend anyone else to either. Sorry for the bad review but I only speak the truth.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay. Staff at the bar and coffee area were friendly and made a pretty good Old Fashioned
- 5/5
Immediate booking when sister property accidentally cancelled our reservation! Manager on site helped us get booked and offered us food and drinks while we figured out what was going on with their sister property. So glad it worked out to where we stayed here instead the night prior to our flight!
- 1/5
Our key card didn’t work. We had to have the staff let us in every time. It took a long time for the hot water to come on. The pool was not available. The nearby hotel didn’t have a working hot tub. The breakfast was outrageously expensive. I will not be staying here again.

The room was dark and a bit dingy. My room was next to the elevator and we heard noise from the elevator. The price we paid was almost $100 more than what is currently advertised!! How do you explain that?
- 1/5
Initial room was filthy, staff was good about changing out our room. Bed old & not comfortable. Prices jacked up for graduation week, but hotel is old & tired. Not up to usual Marriott standards.
- 4/5
None
- 3/5
Check you sheets any where you stay they just make the bed and never change the sheets
- 4/5
Convenient to the Airport. Nice Bistro. Friendly staff. Stay 1 4/21 B+, north side of the property. quiet. 2nd stay, C-, south side of the property, road noise! If I would stay again at this property, only on the north side.
- 1/5
Arrived no carts and staff was not going to hunt for them charging for parking unheard of. Check out at 5am no carts available. This establishment has gone downhill
- 5/5
Staff was exceptionally helpful and very kind; at the front desk, and in their Bistro.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay
- 5/5
Kindness of the staff and clea
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
It was short & nice night stay ,
- 4/5
Very clean and nice looking hotel. Room was nice but bed was very uncomfortable because one side was “dented” in more than the other and flipping the mattress was not an option.
- 4/5
Nice hotel but not close to major amenities. Kind of a rough part of town. Staff was less than friendly.
- 2/5
Very qurious tv sound restrictions
- 4/5
Huge room, good mattress, terrible pillows. Linens fresh and clean. Towels nice. Ample hot water and good water pressure in shower. Front desk person at check in appeared to have been having a bad day and was crying. Not welcoming. Parking lot fills up fast in the evening.
- 5/5
Nice spot - clean room, nice front desk staff:)
- 2/5
Charged for parking and no amenities. Nickel and dimed everything
- 4/5
It was easy to get checked in and the parking was good. The continental breakfast costs extra on the room price, which is why they got 4/5 stars.
- 5/5
Overall a good stay
- 5/5
I loved the rooms because it was quiet and very unique
- 5/5
Very quiet, comfortable.
- 5/5
Very friendly check in front desk, pretty hotel.
- 5/5
Shower had alot of hair but other than that hotel was great!!
- 4/5
Nice king bed
- 4/5
They make small multiple charges on your credit card statement of coding for multiple taxes or fees they say. They charge 10 dollars a night for parking and say Other hotels on horizon drive charge. But The other hotels do not charge parking. The rooms are nice and customer service is decent.
- 4/5
It was a quick check in
- 3/5
The hotel itself was pretty good but the pool was closed, we were told it was for renovations. It was a pretty big part of our plans so we went to the pool in the hotel right next door but it was very inconvenient to walk back in the cold. It would have been good to see this as a warning before booking .
- 3/5
This property has the potential to be one of the best stays in Grand Junction. The property is unfortunately getting dated and does not appear to be being kept up to Marriott standards. I was disappointed to be hung up on when I was quoted a rate of $180 a night for a government rate and when I told the receptionist that I could get it for $117 on line at which point I was hung up on. Lastly, I was surprised to have to pay an additional $10 for parking, just not expecting that and found that out after they heard I had used Expedia to book.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Beds are too soft and room was noisy otherwise it was a nice stay
- 5/5
A great option that's convenient to the airport.

- 4/5
It was convenient and quiet
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet
- 4/5
Staff were super friendly. Shame pool was not working, I wish it would have said something when booking that’s a main priority with little ones. Also room lights were flickering a lot and some did not work. Not what the pictures looked like.
- 5/5
Nice quiet area. Easy to get to and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
I like the welcoming staff and environment.
- 1/5
Our bed was broken on one side and the bed waant even a king. Im sry but if ur gonna offer a king size bed make sure it will fit 3 to 4 people, not 2 that have to sleep with a kid. U need to measure people not kids. Like, im sry ive stayed at a bad hotel and this was worse
- 4/5
Check in was easy and agent was friendly.
- 3/5
Evening staff was excellent. Morning staff not so much, went to check out and was ignored as they walked into back office area. There were a bunch of wrestlers in the rooms next to me who were not supervised by a coach. I never complained to front desk, because I purchased my room from 3rd party site. Otherwise, I would have been asking for a refund. I expected a noisy night when I saw all of the busses, and could hear the wrestling in rooms as I walked down the hall to my room. I just thought the coaches would be responsible and it would stop with a room check some time. It did not. I heard the wrestling (kids banging into walls and cheering, from when I checked in at about 9pm and it continued until about 1:30 am.
- 4/5
Close to airport and interstate highway
- 5/5
We were just passing through and this is what we needed. The hotel was clean. The only downfall was how expensive the food options were. Breakfast was almost $100 for mediocre food and slow service.
- 4/5
Jenn was amazing in helping us check in the night we arrived! The room was clean and easily accessible. The night stage wasn’t as approachable as Jenn but we didn’t have to interact with her anyway. Checking out was easy and fast. We would stay there again!
- 4/5
You need more front desk help. The woman was excellent but having to deal with several issues at one. You need to add staff
- 5/5
Like all Courtyard Hotels under Marriott has check out at noon and Bistro Bar, it is a big plus. Room was clean, modern with comfy bed, nice view from window (5th floor), quiet place.
- 4/5
It was good. Hotel could use some updates starting to look dated.

Definitely not what I would expect from Marriott. I could have saved 100 and stayed at a competitor hotel for a better nights rest
- 5/5
Short, but good stay.
- 4/5
It's a nice property. Very quiet.
- 4/5
We had been driving for five plus hours and just tired and ready to sleep. The gentleman at the desk was not friendly did not attempt any conversation and didn't even ask for id
- 4/5
It’s getting old looking and bathrooms are getting mold
- 5/5
Great service and excellent food. Room was well appointed and comfortable although the mattress was a little worn/ low in the middle. I would stay here again for sure!
