I’m not picky. I don’t need much. This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Stains everywhere, the wifi didn’t work, shower curtain covered in mildew. I wore my crocks the whole time. You’re better off sleeping in your car.

Room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a heating issue, but I would stay again

The commode was overflowing . The hotel manager came in and cleaned it finally..the blanket had cigarette holes on it...it spoiled my stay ..not recommended for family ..pay few bucks more and book a branded hotel for peace of mind

Checked in and got our room and says “smoke free” but room was filled with the smoke of cigarettes. Later informed the staff and he blames the room next door that they are smoking.

Clean large room outside area nice. Bathroom huge BUT shower area needs major update a real turnoff although clean. Looks bad tiles caulked and recaulked smeared. Patched walls dark hardware scary looking in shower area. Definitely a turn off of what could be a very nice place. Regrout the showerwalls reglaze the base it is not a tub add new handles would bring more guest back. This is 2nd stay and would return for 3rd but clean up shower area.

The property looked nice enough but the air conditioner needs replaced, the freezer needs new fan, toilet seat has black on it. Needs new toilet seat. It seemed clean and pretty property. If fixed I would stay again.

I liked that it was close to gas stations and places to eat and it wasn't too far of a drive to the Falls

It’s just like we put our money in trash. I have kid who is on mother feed so it was unhygienic And one more thing to add which is very important it’s not cheap at all we paid 100$ for a night.

Mice woke us in the middle of the night

Had no heat. Did have hot water. One loose sheet over bare mattress. Got a lecture upon arrival about driveway potential for damage when none happened. Junkyard furniture. Old dirty carpet

Buyer Beware!! We wanted a cheap place to stay since we were checking in at 11 pm and leaving early in the morning. Got to the property and the office was a little weird, didn’t think much of it. Got our key and entered the our room. BAM! The smell of this place hits immediately. Everything is very dirty. Needs a DEEP clean. It doesn’t look like much is cleaned between stays expect bedding. We ended up being there for 10 minutes and leaving to find another place to stay. The smell was giving us a headache. The people in the room next to us also left the same night as checking in.

Room had a musty odour. Curtains seemed like it was never washed since installing. Bath tub very discoloured. Tiles broken around tub. Bathroom window unsecured, no latch. Overall property is not maintained.

I don’t know if its due to me being from the south and not being used to northern customs, but the guy working the front desk seemed unnecessarily rude for no reason

The place was very smelly and had a cigarette smell throughout and the linens had holes in them and it was very unwelcoming. Granted it was a motel it could have gone better

This place needs some major updates. The rooms were dirty. The floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom door didn’t even close and the tub/shower had tons of hair all over in it. The shower curtain was moldy. The clerk was very odd.

The owner called to see if we needed anything. Good location for us.

It's a nice room, bedroom clean, bathroom clean, larger than most newer hotel rooms. Tv works, ac works :)

I liked how I showed up 15 min late from check in due to public transpo timing. Host checked me in and I got rest I needed. Cable box didn't work in my room to see the next days weather and I used my cell to find that out! Will return in future for longer stays

Chairs, bed and bedsheets were badly stained. Pillows had a funky sweat smell. Toilet did not flush. And the charges for this dingy motel was $140. It is not worth even $50 at peak season.

This place is “rough.” Room was not clean. We did not venture into shower because of appearance. Too tired to find another place and holiday weekend so many places booked

The condition of this motel room made it very clear that the owners think quite lowly of their clientele. For starters, there was a metal baking pan screwed onto the dresser, covering the cable box so I guess it couldn't be stolen? There was a cardboard box in the window, random pieces of wood holding things up like the AC and the lights by the bed. So many things in the room were broken, tiles in the bathroom, glass in the window, etc but the worst was that the door jamb was busted like someone had previously kicked it in. Overall, the experience was quite uncomfortable.

It was very satisfactory for the price. Very clean. Very quiet. Everything worked. Everything as advertised.

Stay away from this nightmare inn. All I was looking for was to sleep but the room was infested with bed bugs. I had bite marks all over my back and hands. I told the owner and he refused to acknowledge. In the end this no-frills motel, didn't even serve its basic purpose

this motel was just ok for a one night stay. but for the price I guess it's ok... I had to kill some flying bugs so my wife and I could go to sleep. I did mention the bugs to the staff as we left the facility. he said that they did fumigate often. that's a big question n my mind. overall it was just ok..

Didn’t like: mattress mad and box springs cover we’re filthy, carpet was dirty. Waste basket was filthy under the liner. Woodwork was very dirty. Poor quality and ripped curtain in bathroom. No trash can in bathroom. Nice staff but not clean enough.

I'm not overly picky, but I would not stay here again.

Toilet Flush was running the whole time of our stay. The bed sheets and Towel were all fresh.

It was ok just for a night. I know it’s an older motel, but it still felt dirty and I couldn’t give my kids or myself a shower or a bath with the condition it was in. It felt a little dark in the rooms too.

Got in to Niagara area too late for sight seeing, so just found this place and stopped in bc if location and price on way to Falls. Haven’t stayed in motel in this much need of a good cleaning and upgrade—maybe ever. Not all outlets worked, shower atrocious w broken tiles, got locked in bathroom bc door handle didn’t work.

I have not complain about the place and the area is very quiet.

Rooms at this place need 100% renovation. Clean sheets, quiet area.

Clean room, amazing price, and nice location. Ten minutes from the falls. WiFi did not work and make sure to bring your own pillow. Still amazing price for a holiday.

It's not a 2-star hotel and the blankets and room are too smelly. And the bathroom tub is too small and water flow from the tap is too slow.

A very quiet place, which is good for sleeping. Most of the items work, but too old.

This was an older motel but very well maintained. The room was clean beds were comfortable. Bathroom shower was small but again clean and well taken care of The Inn keeper was friendly and was well informed about the Falls. We enjoyed our stay at the Chateau and would recommend it to our friends and we would stay here again. The price of the room was a good value for the area Thank you Pastor Peter Nahodyl

Not so good hotel. If you don't get any stay on time then it's the option. Cleanliness is below par, all equipments are old. Too noisy.

It was great for what we needed. Old fashioned type of property.

The staff was very friendly and easy going, they allowed us to check in early and drop our stuff in our room being it was ready. The only downside was it was to hot in room and we left early to come home because I couldn't sleep. Front desk clerk was super friendly and when I called owner on phone he was very nice. It is a dated room but very large and beds were comfortable and room was clean. I would stay again for an inexpensive trip to Niagra Falls.

We stayed in room #12, and it was horrible! I have photos- We were both woken up itching in the middle of the night, and discovered the bed was full of bedbugs. I would never return to this hotel again-office staff never there either.

The sheets were clean and bug free! Microwave, tv, fridge and shower worked. The night clerk wasn't very pleasant almost like we were an inconvenience. The room is what expected for a 50 dollar room at a place called chateau motor lodge. Everything was a little dingy and old, the bed was rock hard and the toilet wasn't cleaned. The room served its purpose for a spur of the moment mini vacay. We have stayed at worse, just know you're getting exactly what you pay for.

A decent set up. Room smelled a little funky, not sure if it’s all rooms or just ours. Everything else was alright. A little out dated. Some renovations would be nice. Decent price. Had WiFi.

The Worst pace I have ever stayed. Cheap shower curtain, torn multiple places. Strange bathroom. One outlet for light and TV where you have to pull one out to use other. If I go back there, never staying at this place again.

I got there early, and they had no problem getting me in. Very nice people from management to cleaning staff. The only thing i can say bad is stains on the curtains. The bathroom was huge. Perfect for an in and out motel.
