Air conditioning is noisy

Everything was great. The staff was so nice and helpful with anything you need.

Breakfast was fine, plenty of choices The staff was extremely unhelpful when we discovered that we’d double booked our stay. They said we’d have to take it up with booking.com and it wasn’t until we persisted did they give us information that turned out not to be helpful. It seems to have resolved by a person at the check in desk cancelling one of the reservations but I was not told that by the staff member, my bank told me that. They were incredibly dismissive and not extending the courtesy to inform us that they’d cancelled was inexcusable in our opinion.

Staff was professional, polite and helpful. When I went inside my room and looked out the window the only view I had was shingles and chimneys( RM 214) . I immediately returned to the front desk and politely asked if I could have a different room, the staff member was more than happy to give me another room. I entered the 2nd room ( RM 204 ) only to find the same type of view. Not that I planned to be in my room and look out the window my entire stay or have a panoramic view of the beautiful Colorado scenery ( but not looking at a shingled roof and chimney either ) The next day I was out of my room several times and the cleaning staff NEVER entered my room to do their job ! Not that they had much to do in there as I am a very clean person and respectful of ANY facility I stay at…. I don’t leave a mess for them to deal with. Breakfast was ok, but no Rye Bread, Chocolate Milk or Pastries both days ? I was there early, so they couldn’t have ran out of those items. I have stayed at many hotels since 2013 and they all had bread, CH Milk and some kind of pastries with their complementary Breakfast…… Disappointed !

Location was good for what we needed. Hotel itself is in serious need of some updating everything felt old and a little run down and not very clean. Air conditioning did not work and was not adjustable opening a window was not an Option. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of food.

Breakfast was delicious. The room was well laid out and comfortable. The staff readily addressed an issue with our suite and changed our room immediately. The bed was very comfortable. Met all expected needs for a two night stay, close to Red Rocks, and other beautiful places.

Pool was disgusting, rooms looked nice until you start noticing the weird stains on the walls, trash stuffed behind the tv stand, and the spiders hiding in the bathroom. First night was pretty good, second night the power went out for an hour at midnight and fire alarms kept going off so we didnt get much sleep. Would have to say the breakfast buffet made it worth it. Everything was delicious except the soggy eggs.

This is our second time staying at this location in a year's time. We had also recently stayed at another Marriott location in Florida. Having a chance to compare the two, Golden/Red Rocks was certainly fine but the rooms were a bit cramped and dark, especially the bedroom. Breakfast was always a highlight - the staff there does a great job! And the front desk was very attentive when we needed additional hangers. Missing from this location is a bar/restaurant - or something walkable - We would've loved to have a place to hang out after a long day. Also, the TVs/Streaming options were two thumbs down. Would've liked to have seen Smart TVs so that we could watch our streaming shows. Many thanks for overall a pleasant stay.

Staff was consistently friendly and helpful over my 12 night stay. The fitness room is small and not well equiped. A very bright LED light in the smoke alarm directly above the bed flashed every 10 seconds which was annoying. Otherwise, the hotel was very quiet, clean, and I would stay there again.

This is a solid place to stay if you want to be out of the city center but close enough to get to places like Casa Bonita, downtown, or the chill vibe in Golden. Beds are comfortable.

The indoor pool was great could have used a hot tub next to it, and there should be restrictions on kids after a certain time so that adults can use the pool I liked everything

We got a corner room. Was very spacious and came with a full sized refrigerator, dish washer, and oven. Bed was very comfortable, very nice shower. Nice pool area, i liked that the lights were not very bright and overpowering in the pool area. Very good breakfast that ran from 7am-10am.

This place is so dirty. I've stayed at the Residence Inn in Boulder many times and its clean and comfortable and well-maintained. The rooms in the Golden location are gross, both the hot water and pressure in the showers are non-existent. The clientele seems mostly sketchy. Do not recommend.

This was the best extended stay hotel we have ever stayed at! Staff was very kind and friendly, room and hotel was clean, breakfast was convenient and consistently great, pool was perfect temp, outdoor grill added benefit, bed was amazingly comfortable! Definitely will stay here again!!

The One-bedroom suite had a good size and was perfect for our family of four. We were able to check-in early, which worked much better with our plans for the day. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs and sausage among many available items. The sofa bed was OK for our daughters, but wouldn't be comfortable enough for adults. Despite the great breakfast options, only soft paper plates and plastic utensils were provided. It downgraded the experience, is bad for the environment and just a cheap offering.

The breakfast buffet always had a good variety with tasty options. The kitchen in my room was well-equipped and with dishes, silverware and cleaning supplies. The staff was exemplary. They were always so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond every day.

Studio room was great! Everything was clean and in order. We had a non fitted sheet and asked for it to be changed, but nobody came to change the sheets. Would stay again

Nice, clean, hotel and close enough to golden/ Colorado mills mall and surrounding area but not in high traffic so it gets noisy and high traffic. Would recommend for a nice quiet get away and absolutely loved the free breakfast buffet.

We stayed here 10/14-17/25 while visiting for our trip to Red Rocks. This facility is close to everything. There are some that are closer, but not by much and not enough to really matter honestly. It was clean and the staff were nice. The breakfast was nice, plenty to choose from. I booked through Expedia and the price was average. We asked to extend our stay for one extra night and they were able to accommodate us at that time.

Great room for my family, bathrooms were very clean, and friendly staff. The outlets were loose so a fair amount wouldn’t se Ute our plugs to charge our devices, had to get creative to ensure all were charged.

Lovely facility. Particularly liked the swimming pool! Some trash was left in the room and mgmt removed immediately and apologized and comped us the parking fee!!would stay again but the amenities were overkill if only staying for one night. Plan to stay longer .

The property was convenient to our venue. I was impressed to see housekeeping wiping the doors and trim on the exterior of the room. There are some areas in the building that due need a spruce up, but overall a great place to stay.

The air conditioner is noisy, and the elevator is crowded and slow. The maintenance team and resident share the same elevator.

Booked Hotel thru Hotel.com for a red rocks concert. Room I booked wasn’t actually avail and never was acc to front desk gal. so did 2 queens. Service was good but had a tech issue w something which tripped fire alarm. Slept in car for 90 minutes until could go back in. Went down for bfast 3 minutes after deadline (figured maybe they could extend due to sleeping in car) but nope. Anyway not a pleasant stay. Maybe next time. Ugh

We found our suite clean and spacious. Decent channel selection. But the hotel had only one luggage cart, which the staff used to haul miscellany, meaning not available for us to use. We won’t return…

This is an older hotel, but clean. Sofa bed was not too great, but the kitchen area was awesome. Had an area for grilling and sitting in the courtyard.

This was our second visit. It is great place for an extended stay.

Great experience! We stayed for a concert at Red Rocks and arrived hours early and were accommodated with early check in. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Clean room with great location. Waffle machine was a hit with my 3 year old. Friendly staff. You can borrow their BBQ grill and tools. We had a great time cooking outside.

I do not recommend for an extended stay. The breakfast is the exact same (and very mediocre) every day and they charge for parking. The slightly larger room and kitchenette are not designed well and are more of a hassle than benefit. It really needs a good overhaul.

A nice place with easy on easy off access to the freeway. Breakfast was good but could have more of a variety. Pretty much the same thing every day. Indoor pool was clean, but the water was very, very cold.

Nothing Unique.

I loved the front desk staff. Very helpful and friendly. The area was peaceful and quiet. My only complaint was the condition of the room. The molding on the edge of the desk was pealing off and the bathroom door would not latch because the throw and plate did not line up.

Nice place ,the shower was very narrow was my only concern, perfect location for our stay we want to a concert in red rocks amphitheater, and it was only 10 minutes away, lots of restaurants and stores for necessities within five minutes

Stay was great. Water was a money grab and the parking as well. Where else would you park?

Everything was wonderful except turning on the shower every morning. To get to the handle, you get a cold shower turning on the water. You have to reach in around the glass partition to turn it on and there is no way to do this without getting wet. Poor planning on someone's part. Really that was the only downside to staying here. The breakfast, staff and hotel were all excellent.

Towel bar kept falling off. Hotel could not repair until after we left.

The front desk staff and breakfast area personnel were helpful and personable. The availability of a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave was great and made it homelike. Great jump-off point for the mountains and downtown Denver.

This was a great option for me to stay

Although the hotel is located near highway, we don't hear traffic noise during the nights. However, the room insulation is quite poor. We could hear dog barking and people talking from the adjacent room.

We stayed in many Residents inn. Before, around the County especial in California, the last Residents inn. That we stayed in Aurora is newly and clean and beautiful. I was expecting the same in this hotel but went we arrive to the front desk the lady not even say how are you guys doing? Nothing she gives us the room and I was totally disappointed about that room smell to agly and looks very old and dark, the tvs. Wast to small 20 inch and dury the bathroom floor was very dury. I almost want to ask the lady in the front desk to cancel my reservation but my husband was very sick and I have to sleep in this agly room I felt terrible, I read the reviews and I find out many people made many complaints about the rooms and the breakfast was so poorly made. I never going back to this agly hotel. Don't look like any Marriott hotel.

This was an all around wonderful place to stay. All of the front desk personnel we interacted with were awesome, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful clean, spacious and quiet. This is definitely a rare find for the price in the Golden area.

Liked the large room/suite. Breakfast area was nice, food was average. Biggest issue was the service. Two towels in the room (for 5 people) snd they said they were all being washed. Also no pool towels clean. Pool was good enough and not cold so we appreciated that. We Asked for a crib (we have a baby that has to have one for safety) and they said “ohhhh I’ll have ti look around. A few days ago I had ti borrow one from next door.” There was no follow up, we waited and waited and baby eventually had to sleep un safely. How do hotels not accommodate their youngest guests?

My dad and I stayed here to attend a concert at red rocks. When we arrive back to the hotel, none of the TVs were working. The hotel offers Amazon fire sticks for the Tevs however apparently they were out of those. We also asked if we could get an extra blanket and a couple extra towels and supposedly they were out but the linen closet right next to the front desk was open and very clearly full. The lady at the front desk was hiding in a back room somewhere and we would be waiting at the front desk for upwards of 20 minutes before we could finally get help from her to ask questions or to buy snacks and water. The lady at the front desk overnight was very rude and seemed like it was an inconvenience for her to help us

Pool ceiling and walls were covered in mold. The microwave in our room had food caked in it and the frying pans in our room had dried onions stuck to it. Staff was very nice and breakfast was ok.

The property was nice and clean, quiet, i was on the 2nd floor and could barely hear other people above us. It was clean, the only complaint i have is that the people who cleaned the room were hit and miss but as long as you communicate with the front desk, theyll take care of it. Hope this helps

Large comfortable clean room with kitchen. Easy parking and very convenient stopover from airport to I70. Close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a welcome bonus. Very friendly staff. Recommended.

Our stay of 5 nights were excellent. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way during our stay. It will be our go to for our next trip!

This was the worst Residents inn I ever stayed. Found underwear in the draw from the previous guest I guess. Shower door stop fell down when I opened it. Cracks inside the shower. The desk edge banding was peeling off from the desk. No room service, not even the trash.

Two only pots were burned. Kitchen was below minimum expectation. Not equipped, not maintained. Housekeeping provided service two out of four scheduled times.

I liked that we had some separation from the sofa bed to the king size bed. Room was clean and spacious. Loved having a kitchen. Would definitely stay here again great location, close to Denver and the mountains without the high mountain prices.

Breakfast is the same everyday but the breakfast attended not one time said good morning let alone asked if you wanted anything not even cared to change the toster that was not working she looked mad to be at work .

We did accidentally leave out toiletry bag and unfortunately instead of taking it to the lost and found, whomever found it decided to take it. Incredibly disappointing as this must have been an employee. Electric toothbrush, medication, etc. gone. Completely on us to have accidentally left it. But I would certainly hope for more integrity on the employees part.

I had already paid for the room via hotels.com and noticed later that night very late that my bank account showed that I was charged full room price of $120 instead of just deposit. I inquired politely at checkout and the front desk person was condescending and rude. So much so that I am not sure I would return with how dismissive I was treated.

Frankly I expected better from a Marriott. Other ones I've stayed at have been better. Booked a king but when we got there it wasn't available. Few minor issues. Nothing that was a deal breaker, just less than expected

We had our dog with us so I scheduled with Residence Inn. The pet fee was $100 which is exorbitant. I did not check the cost of the pet fee which is on me. Had I checked it we would not have stayed there. To reiterate the PET FEE WAS $100 and I just want people to know that.

Stayed for 6 days and was very happy with our suite. Full stove and fridge and even a dishwasher! All staff very attentive. Was nice having a breakfast every morning before heading out. Easy access to highway and west end of Denver. Red Rocks a mere 15 minutes away!!

We didn’t enjoy the breakfast, the options were limited and were the same every single day out of the 6 days we stayed. The bed was not comfortable as the mattress was old. The carpet is also very old and smelly! The staff was super cordial, nice and the welcome gift was very much appreciated!!!

Lady working at breakfast was hard worker. She was alone to handle the busy traffic in the morning due to flight cancellations. I feel bad that I forgot to tip her On the last morning.

We could not check-in a half hour early, although our room was ready at check- in time at 4:00. We were told there would be no house keeping for 3 nights and if we wanted towels or anything else to ask and it would be provided. The room was clean with extra towels. The king bed was smaller than most and not firm, it sank in the middle, the mattress needs replacing.

I've literally never given five stars to a lot of hotels, but this one deserves it. Top-notch! The beds were amazing and just what I needed after a long, hard, and hot day. The staff was amazing and treated us so well.

It was a good stay but just know if u have an animal with u even though its pet friendly they well charge u an extra 107$ even if ur animal doesnt damage anything. So thats why im giving a 4 star. Because we had to pay an extra 107$ when we got there. The lady didnt even let me know of this charge. I only found out because of the receipt they emailed me.
