The cost was a bit pricey for the class of hotel, but it was competitive with the average cost in the area.

The one thing I like about the property was the river next to it . I did not like the staff or how dirty it was .

The staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. They breakfast was decent choices of cold cereal, make your own waffles, eggs, sausages, mini muffins, apple juice, orange juice and coffee. The hotel itself was very clean. It wasn't as close to the Hot Springs as I had hoped. The shower rod looked like it was ready to fall off and the curtain didn't close all the way. They charge a Tourism fee!

It was a clean, basic room. There was spit on the mirror but it was a big mirror so we looked at the other end.

Get a room on the riverside or you’ll listen to interstate noise all night long. Very nice walking path to walk dogs between the motel and the river

I liked that they had hot water available in the lobby for tea along with gluten free waffle mix. The room was typical. There was a full length mirror outside the bathroom which is great for sharing space. The shower liner was not long enough so water overflows into the bathroom and soaks the floor. The hot tub wasn’t working correctly. It was warm but no bubbles. This is one of the amenities I look for, so a bit disappointed. The gal at check in was great. The second day there was two staff chatting loudly at the desk in the morning that didn’t seem phased by guests. The hot water was empty and when I asked for it the gal stared me down and stated she would refill it, though she didn’t move and continued her conversation. When I returned she informed me it took 6 minutes and still was not ready. An unfortunate turnoff after the other gal had been so pleasant.

The breakfast menu did not offer a lot of options. The scrambled eggs on the first day were very watery. I did not try the sausage or the waffles. The pastry was very dry. The room was clean but cleaning services were only available upon request. Staff were ok but did not respond when asked to assist with resetting the tv after there was a power outage. Air conditioning was very loud and rumbled.

Did not know we were going to be charged 10$ a person extra just to visit the site.

Property is very well maintained. The river on one side and mountians on the other. Very quiet and peaceful. Room was very nice and the beds super comfy. Will definitely be back.

I enjoyed how attentive and welcoming the staff was.

Clean room overlooking the river and the RR carrying coal. The furnace/ac unit had a mission of its own. The buttons were all worn off and although I had it "off" it turned its fan on randomly when it felt like it.

Breakfast was okay. Did not have any bagels only toast and muffins/danish. The room heater/air conditioner was very noisy and had to turn it off during the night. The room was clean but the window looking out to the river needed cleaned. Everything else was good. The staff was great!

The place seems to be run on the cheap-- no one to check us in when we arrived cz there's only 2 ppl working there, nothing on the walls, hot tub closed for repair, ONE wastebasket in the entire room, etc. ZERO frills wasn't what I'd expect of a Quality Inn. On the plus side, the location on the river was quiet and beautiful, the beds were new, and the rate was good. So it was still worth the money. One annoyance-- the morning of our checkout day (but hours before checkout time), the keys stopped working. The guy at the desk said "yeah, that always happens on the day you check out-- here, I'll reprogram your key for you." What?? What if I ran out to the car at 2am and there was no one on duty yet? It sounded to me like it's a known problem, and they're not working on it.

Check in was very quick. The breakfast area is good and pretty spacious. The food quality was good. The wi-fi was almost nonexistent in our room. I wish the hot tub had been a little hotter.

Woke up to water pouring out of the sprinkler head on the ceiling. They had to shut off the water. The maintenance guy said if happens a lot. No wonder the room has a weird mildewy smell. The front desk lady said the owner would call us to possibly give us compensation but haven't heard anything back yet.

Very unfriendly and unprofessional front desk agent. Both in communication style and dress. Marketed as a family friendly but did not have cribs. We needed laundry facilities since we are roadtripping across country and the laundry was broken. The room was run down. Shower curtain bracket was hanging off the wall. Phone and alarm clock did not work. Very disappointed over all.

I usually only post good reviews in my stays,if like to say that this was one of the worst experiences in my existence. The front desk Nefitiri was not professional or kind but one of the most unkind humans I have encountered. I’m a disable person,legally I have my state plaque to prove it. I ask for a cart to move my belongings to the car,not only was she dismissive but contemptuous towards me. She would make an effort to aid me or help me find a cart. She told me everyone else had them and this people are able bodied taking their kids on a ride with luggage. She called the janitor and both were speaking badly about me. The thing is that the didn’t think I speak Spanish. But I do. She referred to me as you know that word that you call animals? Anyway I took videos of the situation. DO BIT STAY HERE. Not worth the HASSLE. Very sad that they can’t hire professionals.:(

The King Room was spotless and quite comfortable.

The room had little bugs that were coming in through the window that was closed. They were not cockroaches. They were small little bugs from outside getting in. We stayed in the room right when you get off the elevator (on the right).On the second floor. Think it might have been 205. Please fix this for next time. I do love the renovations. The hotel has done tho! Thanks

I booked a room with 2 beds and 1 couch on purpose to accommodate my family with teenagers. When we arrived we were told there are no rooms like this available. (However they still show bookable online.) In an effort to make the room work we asked for extra bedding and were given one shabby blanket and one pillow. Fortunately we are only here for one night. Very disappointed in the lack of accommodations and effort to help.

I went into bathroom immediately after opening the room door and saw bathtub with debris and complained to front desk and they sent staff to clean they did a mediocre job and left I did not feel comfortable taking a shower in that bathroom

My stay at the Quality Inn was a nightmare. I checked into my room, and it looked okay at first glance, but then I saw them – bugs crawling on the bed! I was totally disgusted. I immediately went to the front desk to complain, hoping for a quick resolution. The customer service was terrible. The staff acted like I was bothering them and didn't seem to care at all about the bug issue. They offered no apology and were super slow and didn’t even consider moving me to another room. I ended up leaving and finding another hotel. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!

I would definitely recommend, very clean, upgraded, breakfast, jacuzzi, pool, beautiful location, river and trail behind the hotel, its so worth it, they saved me alot of money when they told me to book through a third party. Yes i would definitely stay again!!

Check in was easy and the front desk staff person was very friendly. Breakfast was eh. Food wasn’t hot enough and milk was empty. Our room was nice and the view of the river was beautiful. Hot tub was nice and hot.

Nice to stay with family

Bikers 100+ from all over the country were staying at the hotel. We were assigned a room with a window right next to where the bikes were parked. All night some bikers were leaving the hotel, making it difficult to sleep with the bikes making a lot of noise! We had booked the room 5 months ahead and we should have been assigned a room away from the parking area.

The desk staff members were incredibly friendly -- I felt like I needed to check in with them after the Hells Angels were there for the weekend. Parking was very limited due to having so much of the lot blocked off for the Hells Angels event.

Because of an extensively long traffic jam we arrived later in the evening to find that a motorcycle event was encompassing most of the parking lot. We were told to park at the neighboring hotel, where we found the last spot available and had to walk back in the dark. The bikers were outside late into the night, and woke us up several times when they started up their bikes. The pullout sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable.

Love the fact that the room and the place in general was clean and not dated. The only negative is that you could hear lots of noice from other rooms and bed was not firm. Breakfast was included but we did not eat there so not sure how it was. Over all we had a great stay, 100% recommended.

The hotel and staff are fine. But I was surprised by an extra $10 charge that wasn't the same as Expedia's total pricing.

Guest laundry facility was out of order. Skip the breakfast. Scrambled eggs were in clumps and burned. Sausages tasted odd. The next day the egg station ran out and several guests asked that the pan be refilled. I was there for at least 20 minutes and the egg station still hadn’t been refilled. Go down to the Village Inn.

The view from the room was spectacular. One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. Very peaceful with extremely courteous staff. The beds were super comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised that the property had been totally renovated. It was nice. We enjoyed the stay. The breakfast hours on Sat. and Sun. should stay open until 10:00 for convenience.

We have been staying at this location for several years. The remodel is complete! Rooms are fresh, breakfast area done and good options. The hot tub was useable (it was under repair for a couple of visits) and the pool area clean and attractive. A great value!

Nice place but checkin too invasive even licence plate verification- not cool. So hotels . Com do you not share the mailing address and credit card info with your hotels??!!

The room was dirty. The water sprocket in the shower was about to fall off. I asked for this to be fixed and it never was. Had no ac and had to complain before that was fixed.

I took multiple pics of the property, first of all we overpaid on your website it would have cost 1/2 to book a room at the property. Also they were under construction so the property was filthy and noisy while workers did repairs during the day, no way could you relax. Would never stay there again.

Decent hotel with clean rooms and good amenities. Everything was great except the service, which was lacking.

Shower handle broken and loose. Barely any water pressure. Toilet handle had to be held down for about a minute in order to flush. A/C would only work for 5 minutes then it would stop. Very hot in the room. We were on the 3rd floor, construction on second. Hallways had paper Matt’s throughout. Elevator dirty and shared by staff and maintenance. Elevator permit was temporary due to not passing standard. Only one elevator. I have pic of the elevator license. Awful place not what it portrays in Expedia. I want my money back. Tried to talk to manager but was only given the assistant manager card. I’ve called his as today three times and no phone call back. For an almost 300 dollars per night under 5 star location I would expect more. Dirty and needs a face lift. I want my money back. False advertising in Expedia

Elevator out for over a day, tough for us seniors on 4rd floor. Pool was too cold and Hot tub was scalding hot.

Pool was ice cold, pricey for a hotel thats doing renovations. Room was clean but the sink plunged didnt work had to crawl underneath it and fix it. Now if it was cheaper then it would of been expected and the paint smell got old after awhile.

The hallway that my room is in has the carpet ripped up so it's raw floor, there's piles of construction stuff piled in front of different doorways It looks trashy, the room itself smells like mildew and has a floor that is uneven, and my view of the river has people walking back and forth in front of me on the sidewalk on the first floor here. I wanted to treat myself with my last night of vacation, and this is the exact opposite of that. I tried talking to them about it to see if I could get a different room and they said they're sold out. And there's nothing they can do. But I bought travel insurance I hope it covers this

Appeared to be remodeling something. Hallway carpets were littered & dirty. The bathroom had dirty stuff on the walls. The room actually smelled like dirty feet or sweat.

Pretty area, could use a thorough cleaning, wipe down inside elevators, pools look murky, hot tub not working, screw sticking out of shower curtain rod, cable plate hanging off wall. You can hear upstairs people stomping around. Front desk handled it though. Sweep the deck and pick up branches, don't just hose it all down. Breakfast was nice.

When first getting to the hotel it is still under construction and has been for years. I get checked into the room and the room reeks of marijuana. They did switch me but when they did the new room didn’t have a couch like the initial one did and the tv didn’t work. There wasn’t a single apology for how the room was given to me. In the hallway the carpet was ripped off and was not inviting at all. But outside of the hotel is a beautiful river and there is a lovely walking path you can take.

The price was reasonable and the location along the Colorado river was impeccable. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The property is under renovation. The place was dirty, in our room the safety lock was off the commode seat was broke and the common areas of hotel were dirty because of the renovation. Would not of stayed there if I had known.

Hotel was under major renovation. Had to move flatbeds used by the workers to get into the elevator. Staff not helpful with spotty internet. Old mattresses & furniture piled outside by the river walk & large construction dumpsters. Don’t stay unless renovations are completed, we would have stayed elsewhere had we known.

The hotel is being renovated so there were boxes stacked in the lobby and the elevator floor was uneven. Our room had been renovated so it was very nice. When they’re done it’ll be very nice. AC was noisy going on and off.

Hotel is under construction so things were a bit undone. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was meh, but included so can’t complain too much.

Location was central and close to attractions (Yampah caves, hot springs, and theme park). The river is behind the hotel and a rafting place next door. There is a Dairy Queen next door and a convenience store/gas station next to DQ. They have an indoor pool and jacuuzi. There are several places to hike nearby. There's several restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops and bars within 10 minutes from hotel. Customer service was excellent and we had no issues at all with our stay. There was some construction going on but nothing loud from where we stayed on 3rd floor. Beds and pillows were comfy and AC was amazing! Rooms have small fridge and microwave. Hotel has breakfast 6am-10am. Waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal and some pastries. They share gym with hotel across the street. Only feedback id give to hotel is maybe set up coffee pot somewhere else besides bathroom, Will def stay again.

I booked a bunkbed suite with 2 queen beds but when i got there i was told the bunkbeds have been taken out and i was down graded to a king bed. The pool heater didn't work. The dryer for clothes didnt work. The bathroom door didnt lock. Staff was nice and view was nice. Would not stay here again.

Everything was dirty, inside and outside the building, noise from doors opening and closing shook the room and woke me every time. Expedia did not say anything about a full scale remodel going on when i booked. And the staff sitting by the side entrance in discarded couches drinking beer and smoking every night was ridiculous. The discarded tire rims in the parking area was also not a winning idea. This hotel is a dump, pay the extra $100 and stay somewhere else.

Arrived late in the evening, check in person was pleasant enough. They're in the middle of some renovations so everything is a bit of a mess, fair enough. Get to our room, the AC unit is literally falling apart, one of the bed frames is broken, the smoke detector is wrapped in a plastic bag, battery cover for the remote is missing and the bathroom was not my idea of clean (dingy, rusty shower curtain rod and the towels smelled musty) but once again...this isnt a fancy, pricey place. (Trying to add photos but the app won't let me for some reason) Pros: View of the river was nice. 😀

Check in was great the clerk was very friendly, has a beautiful smile. We reserved a 2 bed room, and was given a 1 king size bedroom, so is ok.

Would be higher, the property is in the middle of being renovated. I think it will be much better when done. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast options not great but on par for most hotels like this. I felt bad for the fella working the desk as he was having to run back and forth between this hote and the one across the street but he was very pleasant about it.

We stay here a couple of times a year. It has been under remodeling each time. However, this time breakfast area had no tables and the food had to be taken to the room. No coffee except the little pot in the room. At least the hot tub worked this time.
