Now we're even charged $10 a day to park in the hotel parking lot! It has really run down since our last visit, needs updated and cleaned.
- 2/5
Definitely won’t be back. Staff was nice and room was clean, but property is getting worn out and staff can’t keep up with the rowdy crowd. Pool is smaller than appears in pictures and can be an absolute sh*tshow, with lots of unattended minors . While we were there someone put whipped cream on a bunch of door handles and tried to kick in doors. Highway noise and other patrons can be heard easily thru the walls and window. Breakfast was fine, but the space is crowded and loud. The cost did not match the quality. This place needs a total overhaul.
- 5/5
This place is always amazing! We go every year and the pool is the best for the littles to get out extra energy. They’ve also added more to their hot breakfast which is great and staff is always friendly. My only complaint would be the hot tub is out again. It’s a finicky thing with a mind of its own, but over all we love this place.
- 4/5
The hotel was awesome! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The only drawback was the small dining area. We were there during a heavy travel time and the hotel was fully booked. There wasn't near enough seating for the size of the hotel. The setting was beautiful and the pool was nice and very entertaining for the kids. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. We were not informed about the paid parking until a day after check-in. The hot tub and ice machines were out of service, and the breakfast area was chaotic, with food and spilled milk left sitting on the counters. Every seating table in the breakfast area was covered in food grime and crumbs. In our room, pictures had fallen off the walls, and when we pulled back the sheets, we found black hairs in the bed, making us question the cleanliness of the room. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations.
- 3/5
The electronic door to enter the hotel worked only half the time. The hot tub in the pool area was closed for maintenance and seemed to have been closed for quite a while. The pool did not seem to clean so we did not swim, and the smell of chlorine was overpowering. The key card system to our room had issues - it was hard to open the door at times. The carpet in the halls was old. The breakfast was pretty decent.
- 3/5
Parking was extra. The pool was gross. The rooms were fine- clean and well maintained.
- 4/5
Breakfast was decent. The king room with Jacuzzi should have had a couch or two chairs for sitting.
- 4/5
Great location for access to Glennwood Springs Adventure Park. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Kids had a great time at the pool.
- 1/5
Staff was incredibly unhelpful, room barely worked on our last night our new neighbors were extremely loud from 10pm-11pm we asked the staff twice if they could possibly help in any way but we unfortunately were forced to leave in the middle of the night because our family couldn’t sleep
- 4/5
The location is optimal with ample paid parking. The pool area was setup for kids and had a really amazing water slide. Hot tub wasn't available during my visit. Staff was great, water was hot, air was cold. Breakfast was complimentary with a fair selection of items. Was in the area on business so only enjoyed hotel amenities during my stay and I'd say it was a fantastic value for the money. Overall, I'd stay here again if I ever return to the area.
- 3/5
Hotel location was great if planning to visit the Adventure Park, but if not, then no benefit to staying there. The "Waterpark" is nothing more than two slides, one of which is only for toddlers. Far from what I would consider a waterpark. Plus the hot tub was out of order. The breakfast dining area is much too small to accommodate the number of guests on the weekend plus selection is very limited. The toilet seat was broken in our bathroom and all the furniture was scratched and beaten up. Place looks nice from outside but could use a major refresh on the inside.
- 5/5
This is an excellent place to be& the IronHorse hot springs is a few blocks away. Nice place & I will staying there again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Comfortable pillows and beds. Convince to the mountain park. Cool pool for young ones to have fun during the stay. Plenty of great restaurants close by.
- 5/5
Great stay! Would recommend!
- 5/5
Great stay with clean room, nice breakfast and fun for the kids. Great location!
- 2/5
The pool was great. Our kids had fun there and in the arcade room. In general, the room was much more run down for the price we paid. There was no jacuzzi, fireplace and hot tub was closed.
- 4/5
The food in the morning is mediocre. Little seating, dining room feels like a really bad staff break room, the juice was out, no one to help and the hot food was all microwaved (you could see in the "kitchen" which was more like a utility closet). The room was big, and to our surprise the queen's we were supposed to have were actually king size, but... they need new mattresses. Somehow we got the same room as last year and the bed was the same. When you sat on it, the bed just dipped wayyy too low. Back pains for mom and dad. You can tell people sit there as they watch television. If you go through Expedia you will have to pay a resort fee $10 a day? On top of pay for parking, $10 a day. But you're right next to the Glenwood caverns and adventure park, so, kind of understandable. If you don't like dogs or their barking, make a request early to not be roomed next to a barking dog. They don't keep the dogs all on one floor like most hotels. Really needs a remodel, especially for where it's located.
- 2/5
Not worth the additional cost we paid to stay here. There were cheaper options in the area and I regret not going with something else. It was so dirty- the elevator, hallways, stairwell, and the room. My child’s feet were black on the bottom from walking around the room for less than 30 minutes. I get we’re in a hotel, but my goodness that shouldn’t be the case. My husband found a couple pieces of dog food in the corner of the bathroom. This was not from us. The pool area was pretty rundown, but usable. Breakfast was fine- nothing incredible but since this is a dog-friendly hotel, people were bringing their dogs into the breakfast area which was a bit gross. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again and would advise others to avoid too. Truly just not impressed at all.
- 2/5
As a mom of three, I always look for family-friendly hotels that are clean, comfortable, and worth the price. Hotel Glenwood Springs had some positives, but overall it fell a bit short of our expectations. The exterior of the property is well-maintained and gives a good first impression. However, once inside, the hotel feels somewhat dated and in need of updates. Our suite was spacious enough for our family, but the bathroom was disappointing. The shower was outdated, and there was visible gunk built up in the corner, which made it feel less clean than it should have been. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool. Our kids had a great time and looked forward to swimming each day, which helped make the trip enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, but they seemed fairly young and not particularly knowledgeable about some of the amenities and local offerings. When I asked about discounted tickets to Glenwood Hot Springs, I was told they were available through the hotel. However, the quoted prices were the exact same prices I had already found online, so there didn’t appear to be any actual discount. As for Glenwood Springs itself, I understand it’s a major tourist destination and that tourism drives the local economy. That said, we found many of the attractions and activities to be quite expensive for a family of five. While we enjoyed our visit, next time we may choose a different Colorado hot springs destination that offers a better value
- 2/5
The location is older, lots of work needing done in multiple areas from the room outward. May find newer and better locations to stay in the area for the money.
- 4/5
Fun, clean.
- 3/5
The breakfast was very basic- cereal, toast, waffles, eggs and sausage . They ran out of plates during breakfast and I observed a man get rather upset at this. We requested additional pillows and towels and it took several calls to room service and several hours for them to fulfill our request. Aside from this- my kids 14 and 15 were a little too old to enjoy the water park; however for families with kids 10 and under this could be a perk. Another perk is you walk right next door to catch the gondola, the hotel charges for parking- an additional $10.00 a day. Overall, we won’t be staying here again as it was not as clean/ unkept as I prefer but overall, it was ok. Also the elevator takes forever and was pretty dingy/gross.
- 3/5
When they say you get access to the water park it is not the hot springs water park it is the pool that has one slide at the hotel. The wording is misleading if you are thinking about the hot springs water park. Not sure why they would say you have access, instead of we have a water slide at our pool. Staff was not helpful. In the pictures it lists fitness center with a Alpine type slide picture. No fitness center. The doors do not have a soft close. This place is full of children running in and out of the rooms at all hours. It slams so hard it can't help but wake you. It was awful. Breakfast was pretty good. Rooms are nice-besides doors slamming.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, but crowded. Good amenities.
- 5/5
Location and indoor pool keep us coming back
- 1/5
This place is a total rip off. Do not waste your money.
- 2/5
The room was dark and a bit dreary. The bathroom needed new lights but staff couldn’t change them. The water park was nice but the kids slide needed some padding at the bottom. Our room only had 3 towels for 6 people but they did bring some up. Staff was friendly but I probably won’t stay again.

- 1/5
Room was poorly lit and well worn, with broken tiles in the bathroom. Something black was on part of the ceiling and beds were uncomfortable. Door didn’t always catch to shut and we had to giggle the handle to get it to work. Room was spacious, but that is the only positive thing we can say about it.
- 2/5
I'm very sorry to give the hotel service only one star, but I have to do so to get this problem fixed. On Sunday, May 24th, I stayed in room 006. We found the bed sheets dirty and covered in other people's hair. We notified the front desk, where there was only one person. She helped us change the sheets, saying that no one from housekeeping was available. In addition, I wanted to make coffee with the coffee maker in the room, and I found it dirty as well. There was coffee brewed inside, and I found something else dirty. I'm writing this so that you will do something about it, since lodging isn't cheap, and you should provide proper and clean service (above all). This is the first time I've stayed at this place and I think it will be the last. They need to resolve this with their employees, since they're not the ones who lose out; they can find another job and that's it. The hotel is the one that loses guests, which is why I'm filing this complaint so that other guests don't have the same experience we did.
- 3/5
Extra parking fee
- 4/5
Good hotel, right at bottom of Gondola
- 2/5
I loved how nice and professional the staff was. But the room I got was a bit dirty. The hot tub was a little musty the mini fridge was dirty and also the microwave
- 2/5
Would not stay there again.
- 5/5
This property is close to Iron Springs mineral pool, dining is close- I recommend Mings Cafe & Wild Coffee. Staff at hotel were nice, room spacious, our stay there was Great! We will be traveling to stay here again.
- 2/5
Staff wasn't too helpful. We kept getting locked out of our room. Both key cards kept glitches. The hot tub in the room was very outdated, water pressure was poor for the jets shooting out. Upon arrival the hot tub had water in it, the bathroom floor was wet. The advertisement said theres room service which to me means being able to order food and have it brought up. The room service they have is just to come clean your room and it is upon request they should confirm what room service entails. This is more of a family place so alot of yelling kids, parents not taking care of their kids. There is only 1 elevators and its super slow, takes forever when calling the elevator. People want to cram into it to avoid waiting longer. Lighting in the room was trash. Barely any brightness. Definitely wasn't worth what I paid for. Location itself was really nice. The free breakfast wasn't enough, all the families would gobble everything up within the first 30 minutes of breakfast being served. The area they have for breakfast is crammed and small. The people at adventure park are friendlier than the staff at the hotel.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our room. It had plenty of space; hot tub/spa in the room was a plus. Breakfast was ok. They need to plan it better though; Like the toaster was away from the bread.
- 4/5
Adequate for a night.
- 2/5
The pool table in the game room was broken. The hot tub wasn't working. And the room was humid from the pool being so close by. I'm definitely not staying here again.
- 4/5
The stay was great!
- 1/5
I absolutely would NOT recommend this horn to anyone ever. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had on a “vacation”. The power was out all day on Saturday, I’m pregnant and we were there for my husband’s 30th birthday. What should’ve been a fun getaway turned into a nightmare. I got a room with the jacuzzi, and we couldn’t even use the jacuzzi, nor take a hot shower, nor use the air conditioning. As a pregnant woman I found it unbearable so we just left early and they refused to give any refunds or vouchers or even apologize for this major inconvenience. This stay was entirely a waste of time, money and energy. Do not book this hotel.
- 4/5
Kind staff
- 5/5
Very nice staff and perfectly fine hotel, if a little outdated. The hot tub was unavailable on my stay and the rooms could stand to be modernized a bit, more USB ports, modern fixtures etc, but I enjoyed my stay. If you're going to Glenwood Caverns you couldn't be closer and your hotel parking puts you in a prime spot.
- 4/5
Breakfast is included and they have waffle makers that my kids loved. Overall good stay.
- 5/5
Staff was incredible good
- 4/5
Pool is too shallow for adult use.
- 1/5
Well the whole city was out of power for 5 hours so I had to take a cold shower. My phone died window didnt open it was hot and muggy in the room. The bed was uncomfortable felt like I was going to fall off the side.
- 3.5/5
Was willing to move a fridge from another floor for us. Really appreciate the extra effort and all with a smile on her face. Not once did she act put out or bothered. Just gave exceptional customer service. The only complaint I have is the hot tub was not in order. That was a bummer after running after two toddlers. Breakfast was really good and I loved that the meat choices were rotated. Kids were a huge fan of the mini waffles. I Would definitely stay again. Just the hot tub being out of order
- 2/5
Power was off and our check-in was delayed. The pool (which is the main reason we stay here) was shut down due to power outage. We were not offered any kind of discount or anything.
- 2/5
Will not be staying here ever again for the price it’s horrible dirty and rooms are so basic old
- 4/5
No
- 3.5/5
Hot tub and ice machine both out of order the 4 days we were there. Food could use a little work
- 5/5
No hot tub
- 3/5
It’s not worth pricing.
- 4/5
Everything is great in this hotel.
- 2/5
Not worth it, not well maintained
- 4/5
However, we liked the facility. It was in a good location not far from all the popular spots. You have to drive, though. It isn’t walkable like some of the other local hotels. The breakfast was great, a little awkwardly laid out which made us have to cross back and forth a lot, but it was good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We feel like there are a few areas for improvement, but were happy with our stay.
- 5/5
Simpre voy todos los años a glenwood y me hospedo en ese hotel por la piscina para mis niños muy buen lugar
- 5/5
Very family friendly and right next to adventure park gondola. They do charge an extra $10 per day for parking which should be included in pricing
- 3/5
Not a good place for singles or couples to visit but would be excellent for families with kids.
- 1/5
We were really disappointed with our stay at this hotel. One of the main reasons we booked here was to use the hot tub, only to find out it was out of service. That alone was frustrating, but the cleanliness issues were even worse. When we pulled back the sheets, we found blood stains that were clearly not ours, which was completely unacceptable and made us question whether the bedding had even been changed. To make matters worse, we also found an empty beer can wedged between the headboard and mattress that definitely did not belong to us. Overall, the room did not feel clean or properly maintained, and the experience was far below expectations. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Hot tub was closed
- 3/5
Don’t visit unless you’re bringing kids. This
- 3/5
It was overpriced for what they offered.
- 4/5
We didnt have children, but if we had the indoor pool is perfect for children. We enjoyed it as well.
- 4/5
Great family spot
- 3/5
Location, continental breakfast, early coffee. Only decaf coffee in room, two ice machines not working, I did not recieve hygiene products requested on the second day.
- 5/5
The Jacuzzi was broke. This was upsetting.. The game room was bad. The games would take your money but they didn't work. All this should of been fixed. We were there during Spring break. Next time I will call and make sure all is working.
- 5/5
We had a room with bunk beds, a jetted tub, and a fireplace. While the room and pool area were in need of some maintenance, it was a great location and so nice to have extra space for the kids. They loved the pool and the slide, and location near Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Adventure Park was great!
- 5/5
Mejorar el sistema para el rembolso del depósito todavía no lo recibo
- 4/5
The rooms are clean, the staff is polite. Everything is great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 2/5
The location was good and the breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff were friendly. No housekeeping so had to keep asking for more toilet paper and shampoo. Also had to change out our own towels. The pool was fun for the kids but very shallow. We were stuck in a handicap room instead of a king suite we booked with separate area for kids. The shower leaked all over the floor so had to use lots of towels to soak up the water. Rooms were dated with door damage from previous guests.
- 4/5
Indoor pool had the kiddos excited, confident location to the Adventure park, and the breakfast was approved by a 7y/o picky eater.
- 3/5
The hot tub was out of order and our room felt very run down, the tv remote didn’t work very well
- 5/5
All around great stay!
- 5/5
staff was amazing and helpful specially the night staff it’s clean
- 3/5
The hotel is dated. Staff was very nice. Walls are thin like paper. I had to make a complaint about the neighbors. Otherwise okay stay for a night and walking distance to restaurants and hot springs.
- 4/5
The hotel is a bit dated but was VERY clean. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The bed was pretty comfortable.
- 3/5
We have stayed at this hotel several times over the year. I think this will be our last. Our kids love it for the water slide but that’s about all it has going for it. The rooms are mediocre, the shower wouldn’t stop screaming while it was on, the tub had black stuff coming out of the drain anytime the water hit it, the breakfast is disgusting. The hot tub was not working. It’s just not worth it anymore.
- 4.5/5
Location, pool was great. Couldn’t get in until 4 pm! Very frustrating with small kids. Hot tub was not working.
- 5/5
Very convenient
- 4/5
Friendly nice people great breakfast The highway was to noisy heater to nosey
- 4/5
Wish you had a shuttle to take people downtown.
- 5/5
Clean room, hot tub
- 5/5
Great location. Very quiet despite being near the highway. Walking distance to town along the river.
- 4.5/5
Very clean/Well maintained . Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great location. We loved our stay!
- 3/5
Staff were nice enough and breakfast was decent for a free breakfast. Charging for parking also feels tacky - just add it to the room cost if there's no other option.
- 5/5
Kids loved the pool!!! Game room was fun. Our hotel room was older, but very large and clean. Will definitely stay again
- 3.5/5
The room didn’t seem too clean. Bathroom had hair on the floor and dirt in the corner. Smelt musty
- 2/5
The hotel room was very run down.
- 1/5
Spa was not was not working. Towels for the pool area were out. Door to room had a gap and was not sealed properly. Outlets in room were loose. Door in bathroom was worn and scratched. Hot water for shower was more like luke warm. Lamp outlet did not work. Bed was noisy and old. Remote for t.v only worked from like 2 feet away. For price of tjese rooms was not worth it. This hotel is outdated and needs alot of repairs.
- 2/5
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pool is way smaller than expected and the walls are very thin, could hear everything from the neighboring rooms.
- 2/5
The hot tub in the room was ok. The fire place didnt work and they never came to fix it! The pool was closed. One of the bunk beds had a big stain on the comforter. I won't stay there again
- 1/5
They charge for parking
- 1/5
Three hours before check-in, we received a call informing us that the pool had to be drained, cleaned, and refilled due to an accident. Completely understandable—things happen that are out of everyone’s control. What was disappointing, however, was the way the situation was handled from there. When I spoke with Mia (who I later learned is the GM or Assistant GM), I was met with an unnecessarily rude and dismissive tone while being told there would be no compensation due to the unexpected closure. To be clear, I would have accepted that answer had it been communicated professionally. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Instead, the conversation felt condescending, and the fact that we were “notified in advance” was repeatedly emphasized—as if a three-hour notice is a generous heads-up. Given that the pool is a major draw for families (and a big reason we choose this hotel), more proactive communication would have gone a long way. Even a day’s notice could have allowed guests to make alternative plans. When we arrived, the pool was already nearly full, so it’s reasonable to assume this issue wasn’t discovered at the last possible moment. It’s also worth noting that there appeared to be ample down
- 3/5
The bedding doesn’t fit the mattress properly so it’s lumpy and uncomfortable… we won’t be back
- 3/5
We were charged a ten dollar fee to park in the hotel parking lot. Not disclosed prior in the booking information.
- 2/5
It was a great location for their on mountain hot springs and glenwood caverns Paid parking. Loud people. Rude staff.
- 3/5
The hot tub wasn’t working it was closed. The hot breakfast was the worst I’ve seen
- 2/5
We booked the hotel specifically for our kid to play at the water park/water slides, but the pool was closed because someone had an accident. We were going to cancel but the woman on the phone said the pool would be clean by the next day. It was NOT clean and our kid was not able to go to the pool. Which really sucked because we had all been looking forward to swimming and playing in the pool. It was a huge let down and it felt like a huge waste of money, since the desk woman convinced us to stay. Super super disappointing.
- 1/5
The hotel is dated, it was a disappointment. There was a group next to us that rented multiple rooms in the hotel. They were smoking and partying all night. I had to call the front desk twice to have them take care of the noise. The third time I called down they stopped answering the phone. So I walked down to the lobby at midnight. The front desk guy and I walked upstairs where he asked them to keep it down. Next night same thing. I called the desk and the girl told me we could just move rooms. I asked her “at midnight! You’re joking, isn’t there a 10pm noise policy and you advertise this as a family establishment!” I will never stay here again and will let others know
- 1/5
Rooms were gross and dirty. Family suite was about 40 ft. from the highway. Very loud at night. Game room costs extra. They were out of most things like salt, spoons and syrup, waffle mix etc…at the continental breakfast and no one really seemed to care. The pool was closed for ‘the safety of our kids’ for extra time beyond closed hours. Charged for parking. Would not go back.
- 5/5
My only problem was that the pools were closed because someone pooped in them other than that the hotel was great nice clean rooms and the staff was really friendly and my dog loved staying there
- 3/5
The hotel was fine, it was just dated. The bed was not comfortable, at all, and the room AC was not working properly.
- 4/5
Suites are very large with bunk beds, could use an update. Overall our stay went well except the amusement park-was closed on the two days that we stayed there which was my bad, for not checking.
- 2/5
This hotel is not in great shape. I reserved three rooms but they were not together as we thought they would be. The beds were very uncomfortable. The game room had several broken machines and many could not be used. The hotel does not providefree parking. The staff in the evening were not very accomodating or welcoming upon arrival. They close the game room at 10 and push everyone out regardless of activities you are engaged in. Overall the experience was not the family experience we had worked hard to create.
- 5/5
Great staff, comfy room, area was lovely and easy to access everything.
- 1.5/5
Pool was filthy. Didn’t trust my kids in it. No lighting. Pictures were very misleading.
- 5/5
I loved the game room. It was perfect for when we just had downtime at the hotel
- 1/5
So the pool was nasty, they keep the lights off so you can’t see how the cloudy the water is. Beds were uncomfortable.
- 5/5
The kids loves the pool and the locations was convenient and close to everything.
- 5/5
✌️
- 4/5
Grandson loves the pool. Room was clean up worn out, woodwork in bad shape, doors warped
- 5/5
Pool is amazing!!
- 5/5
We were welcomed by a friendly check in attendant. We stayed in a suite that was very accommodating for our family of 5 with teens. Spacious two room suite with a king bed and a bunk bed. Hotel was located near the downtown area with close proximity to attractions, shopping, and dining.
- 3/5
Pool was not cleanest
- 4/5
The hotel location was great. We could walk right into town to the Hot Springs or dinner. The rooms were clean and the pool was just what my son and his cousin were looking for! Because of its close proximity to the Glenwood adventure Park and the time of year we went (spring break), there were a lot of families, which made breakfast extremely chaotic. There was not enough food for the amount of guests and the items they could replenish did not happen when the items were empty. Sometimes it took quite a while and just listening in passing that some families were upset and left to go to nearby restaurants. Aside from that the hotel was great, but if you are looking for something quieter, this would probably not be the place for you.
- 2/5
The view was beautiful The bed was terrible very uncomfortable very bouncy no daily housekeeping, key card was always not working had to go downstairs to constantly get card re working breakfast was okay if you wanted food you would have to go early if you went a little later after that they do not re stock food if they were out of a certain item no syrup what so ever for the waffles a lot of people for breakfast as well and don’t have enough food for there guest we just had a terrible experience we will not be booking there again.
- 5/5
The pool area was a big draw for us! I have two daughters (12 & 10) and they spent time in the pool every day. The hot tub wasn't in service, but that was fine with us. Breakfasts were great and we partook every morning. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were lovely. And it was right next to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.
- 4/5
Hot tub was closed, our microwave turn table no longer turned, there was mold in the shower.
- 5/5
This hotel and staff really did impress us! The staff was very friendly and the front desk lady came to our room to help fix our door lock, just jumped right up and took care of it with a great attitude, and got it resolved! The breakfast quality and variety was really good, even a "dairy fresh yogurt" machine that was delicious! The pool was of course the kids' favorites, but ALSO the game room in the basement is EPIC! Super impressive thought to details in this hotel! And we LOVED having a bunk bed in our room! We'd definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Had an amazing time staying here for the second time! Beautiful views, close to town & the kids & us love the pool!
- 2/5
Everything was dirty and sticky. All four of the lamps in the room were broken. Staff was generally unfriendly except one person at the front desk. The breakfast was really bad. Gross looking fruit and eggs that were not real eggs, powdered I think. The pool is only 3 feet deep. The only good thing about this place was the location right next to the gondola. We will never stay here again. Forgot to mention it’s right on the freeway, traffic all night. The whole place needs to be gutted and renovated. And cleaned properly.
- 5/5
The pool was a lot of fun and the staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good! I was very impressed with the front desk ladies! They were very personal! I like that! Wasn’t super impressed with the cleanliness!
- 5/5
Room was good. Nothing special. Hot tub wasn't working but it wasn't a big deal. Pool was great. Water was warm. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean, a little worn but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical and good.
- 5/5
Everything was great! We truly had a blast and staff was nice. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean. Pool was clean. Beautiful location. Hope to come again
- 3/5
Great price point for what you get. Free breakfast and decent room. Good location to explore Glenwood Springs
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was ok, it seems the staff cut corners to get the rooms ready.
- 5/5
centrally located to just about everything you need!
- 4/5
Breakfast was good and friendly staff
- 5/5
Great access, good location, awesome breakfast, right next to gondola up to adventure park. Super for families! The pool was sweet with waterslide, however, was a bit chilly!
- 2/5
Noisy and outdated
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Monica at the front desk was great. Our original room was right next to the interstate, did not sleep at all. Next morning I went to the front desk and asked about getting a different room away from the interstate and Monica found a new room and she found another room for me away from the interstate.
- 3/5
We were disapointed the hot tub was not operational, and the water in the pool was too cold for my daughter to get in - which was crazy for an indoor pool. walls are paper thin, and we could hear neighbors all around us. lastly our room was in the basement (yes the basement) and so poorly lit. front room needs brighter wattage bulbs or an overhead light. Bathroom light was bright white light like the surface of the sun. so jarring. I would definitely not stay here again.
- 5/5
Very wonderful people to work with they are great
- 3/5
Hot tub was out of order. A surprise charge of 10.00 a night for each vehicle to park at the hotel. The clerk finally didn't charge us for one vehicle. Breakfast was so, so. Some light switches in our room didn't work correctly. Only one extra blanket but two beds. On the plus side, the pool was so much fun.
- 4/5
The room was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful!! We were very disappointed with the pool area. The water was so cool that my daughter didn’t want to swim, which was a bummer because it was a main attraction for the hotel. Also the hot tub was closed. If I would have known the pool was not swim-able, I would have picked a different hotel.
- 3/5
- 2/5
One thing I really liked was its location. And they provide breakfast and it was good. But the room was not clean. We found some clothes in the drawer. And that says they don't clean thoroughly. Toilet was clogged and no housekeeper at the moment, so they gave us a plunger. We had to do ourselves. Staff didn’t even bother to check on us. Indoor pool was cold. My kid really wanted the pool. I couldn't risk her catching cold. Well, paying $500 for 2 nights was unreasonable and disappointing.
- 1/5
The hot tub was broken and the pool was freezing. We booked this place as we have two little kids that we had planned to use the pool. They were able to stay in the water enough to do the slide once and then had to get out to warm up. We will not be going back.
- 3/5
You can tell no money is going back into the betterment of the hotel. Hot tub isn’t working and you can tell it hasn’t worked a long time, the pool was FREEZING. The pool was the only reason I booked this hotel, if I had known I wouldn’t of picked this property.
- 1/5
Cleanless rooms
- 3/5
Rooms you could tell they recently did some remodels which were fine. Nothing outstanding and could have been a little cleaner. Front desk staff was kind and friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was helpful. We lived having a hot tub in the room!
- 3/5
Rooms need updating, Pool is cold in winter, Water Cold in room, no hot water
- 2/5
Hot tub was out of service. Pool was ice cold. Room was a dirty in some areas. Sink wasn’t working first day and a half
- 3/5
The hotel is dated but is kept up. The room was clean but they don’t clean yours daily unless asked. I don’t like to have to get my own clean / dry towels. The breakfast was good. It had many choices daily and that was super nice! I would have liked coffee around 5:30 am while we were loading up to leave but it was super quiet down stairs and I didn’t see an employee.
- 2/5
Our family got two rooms. When we got there the front desk offered us pool towels, told us the pool had just been filled so it was cold but would be up to temp soon. We went swimming at 11am, the water was still very cold. It never heated up. We think the pool heater must be broke and they just tell all the guest that. One of our doors to our room did not lock. A shove would allow access into the room without a key. There aren’t any security cameras on any levels of the room floors. Both room’s curtains had weird oil stains all over them. One of our rooms shower squeeled. The a/c in the room also squealed loud all night. Also, there was weird white stuff all of over the tray that I think was meant for eating that was sitting on top of the microwave. At check in we were told it was a cold breakfast; when we went down we found out it wasn’t only a cold breakfast there was eggs, bacon, sausage, a waffle maker among other cold items to choose from which was confusing as to why we were told it was only cold. The orange juice and apple juice was watered down each morning from the machine. The only plus is the gondola to the adventure park in near the parking lot.
- 5/5
The pool was freezing
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the in room hot tub and included breakfast. Perfect evening for a couples getaway.
- 3/5
The bathroom door finish was all blistery and bubbly, I'm assuming it's from the steam from the shower and/or hanging wet clothes and towels on the hook on the door. The room door, which opened to an interior corridor, didn't self close. I don't know if that's a fire code issue, but it just seemed strange to me. Breakfast was meh. I wish places would put out a decanter with ice water. They tell you to drink water, drink water, drink water at altitude. Be warned, this is a family oriented place with an elaborate pool (that was always dark inside. Lights?). So, there's always little kids running around and screaming.
- 4/5
The pool was closed for maintenance
- 3/5
Pool was not wnjoyable, advertised for 85 degrees heated and felt like it was around 65 degrees in the morning, cold cold water.
- 4/5
Nice place calling it a hotel is a stretch good discount to Iron Mountain Hot Springs and easy access to glenwood caverns adventure park, I was disappointed to have to pay for parking that was a surprise. And if you want to use the arcade it costs money it would be nice if it was included in the stay
- 1/5
The pool was cold and poorly lit, we found dirty socks and a baby pacifier in room, the worst was the AC/HEATER it sounded like the rusty gates of hell opening at about midnight waking everyone in the room including 22 months old
- 5/5
Great location and staff!
- 4/5
Hotel and room itself showed standard wear and tear from years of service. Only difficulty we had here was our key cards were regularly deactivating.
- 1/5
Pool was closed and wasnt brought to our attention, plus you have to pay 10.00 parking fee ,was mentioned on expedia but was down in fine print. BREAKFAST WAS TO S T ART AT 7:00 WASNT AVALIABLE TILL 7:30 POOR MANAGEMENT NEVER STAY THERE.
- 4/5
Was closed. And that was way disappointing.
- 1/5
Had to pay for parking when the lot was completely empty, the pool & hot-tub were closed but not indicated on the website until you got down to the fine print. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00, but no one was there and the room was dark when we arrived at 7:00.. 15 minutes later 1 employee came and put eggs in the microwave and sausage into the airfryer.
- 2/5
Multiple hidden fees, pool was closed
- 3/5
Overall I really enjoyed my stay! The jacuzzi tub jets weren't as strong as I was hoping for but it was still amazing to relax in. Had a few issues with room keys deactivating but the staff was always amazing in getting those rekey'd.
- 5/5
This is definitely a place for families. There are a lot of families taking advantage of the pool and great game room. The breakfast was great and staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
The hotel needs a deep clean and some updating. Our bathroom door needs replacing. The ac quit working for several hours. The pool is nice but the hot tub was broken for the entire stay.
- 3/5
Fine for the price. The staff was nice.. Hotel was a little older. Pool is great for families with small kids.
- 3/5
The room was clean. Jets on tub didn't work. Shower curtain rod in bathroom wasn't secure.
- 4/5
Everything is expensive in Glenwood Springs, but that is to be expected, after any tourist hot spots always are. So, if paying 5 dollars for a very simple cheeseburger, or paying $100+ for a dinner for two, is to expensive for you, you are better planning a vacation in your house. Its called a VACATION! You're gonna have to spend $$$. So get over it! This country is expensive, move on. Everything was great! Not really sure why Hotel Glenwood Springs has such a low Google rating? And why its only rated as a 2-Star hotel? Because the hotel has quite bit of perks and amenities. The only real bad experience I had with the hotel was, the key cards didn't really work very well, some cards didn't work at all. But, other guests seemed to have this same problem as well. Not a deal breaker or anything, they just need to update or fix their room door lock system, the only other thing was, that the main elevator was slow as Sh*t, again, just a fixing or updating the elevator would remedy the problem, not a big deal. Other then that my experience was just fine. The free breakfast was what you would expect from a free hotel breakfast, no surprise there. Adventure Park was fun, even though half the park is closed during the winter season, it was still worth going just to be able to ride the gondolas, with the most beautiful view, and the Kings Row Caverns was awesome. With the most amazing tour guides, that actually make the experience even more fun! The hotsprings pool makes it worth it!
- 4/5
Breakfast was really good
- 3/5
The staff were friendly but our room was not great. It was in the basement, cob webs in the shower and could have been cleaner. Our room was adjacent to Interstate 70 and I could hear the highway noise at night. The hot springs near the hotel were great and I would recommend them to anyone visiting the area.
- 5/5
Yes, staff was great.
- 4/5
Surprised not many people here. Maybe they should get rid of hidden parking fees, eh?
- 3/5
Staff was great!! Our room didn't have a working phone, no dial tone at all. The toilet ran non stop, we told the front desk, so hyperglycemia they look into that, room 109. The breakfast was pretty good but the juices were both watered-down and the bacon was like crunchy air
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Room was dirty. Pool has rocks or decaying floor in it. The arcade machines are all half broken. They didn't have our room reserved and we ended up with a smaller room without the amenities we wanted but was charged the same price? Will not be coming back here. The staff we met at check in was rude and said that they tried to call but my number is international but it is an Illinois number. They did not call the number I provided.
- 5/5
FANTABULOUS
- 4/5
The front desk clerk was nice and efficient.
- 2/5
Room was old and worn. Bedding had rips in it. The heater rattled ALL NIGHT LONG. bed was horrible to sleep on. Not a good nights sleep.
- 5/5
Clean, cozy! Sad the pool was closed ..
- 2/5
Stayed there because of the pool , but when I got there was closed for maintenance but it was NOT noted online Room was facing I70 , terrible noise coming, windows are NOT soundproof at all If I knew I wouldn't stay there
- 4/5
Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Yes room clean every one of staff very nice
- 1/5
We didn’t stay there. Would not let us cancel after we showed up and was told the pool and hot tub was closed for a week. That was the only reason I booked that hotel. The front desk ladies were extremely rude. I would not recommend this Hotel.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly
- 1/5
The pool was closed for maintenance and I was unaware. The staff was very short and rude when I asked where else I could go indoor swimming as that was the only reason we booked there, needless to say they said that was the only place with an indoor pool. Breakfast was just egg and bacon.
- 2/5
Room was in poor condition. Bathroom fixtures mismatched and toilet bowl was not the same size as the seat. Water slide didn't work. Property was just in poor condition.
- 2/5
1st time in my life i have had to call the front desk, to complain about noise from the front desk. They play unnecessarily loud music in the lobby well past 10pm. I called down to ask if they would be turning the music down at any point, and the rep replied "i guess I could turn it off right now if you want?". The breakfast buffet has abysmal quality food and drinks that are unpalatable. The "orange juice" was almost clear. The walls are super thin, so expect to hear your neighbors convos, barking dogs and even when they use the restroom. The only positives i can say is the proximity to the theme park (entrance shares a parking lot" and the morning front desk staff were very courteous.
- 4/5
Location is amazing. Amenities were great. Our 11 year old loved the indoor pool area. There’s even a water slide and small section of the pool for toddlers. The hot tub was great as well. The continental breakfast was nicer than most continental breakfasts I’ve seen before (they had eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereal). The staff were all very friendly. The mini fridge and microwave came in clutch! Overall a great stay! Only reason we didn’t give a 5 was because of a few little things - the rooms could use an update. It wasn’t terrible by any means but just older vibes. We could also hear someone’s little dog barking at random hours (very late at night & super early AM). I get this is a pet friendly hotel but maybe some of the rooms that allow pets should be in a certain section of the hotel. We found a few long, white dog hairs on our carpet when we arrived so it makes me think they allow pets in all rooms as long as you pay the pet fee. (Unless the previous guests just snuck their dog in). The annoying dog wasn’t the hotels fault. Though maybe they should have stricter rules about people letting their dogs bark at all hours of the day/night and holding the owners accountable. We have two dogs (which were in dog daycare) but had we brought them, I would never allow them to keep barking, as it’s disruptive to other guests (nor would we leave them alone in the room when we were gone, which I’m sure is not allowed either). Luckily I had ear plugs which helped!
- 5/5
wonderful place to stay.
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but the breakfast was not good and parking should be included with the room.
- 1/5
I was extremely disappointed in the room. Not at all what was pictured. Walked in to a basiclly barren room. Hard wood floors with no rugs, almost all blank walls. But the bed was the kicker for me. No bed skirt(weird but no biggie on its own), dinky half sized pillows that didnt even cover the head board and no comforter. I was so uncomfortable that despite the unreasonable amount of money i spent, i ckecked out maybe 3 hrs after i arrived and drove almost 4 hrs home. Sad and frustrated.
- 3/5
Place not clean, smell bad like spoiled water even the sink inside room. Place is beautiful. Never made it to the pool tried too hot and smelled it. My only good experience is the receptionist Monica.
- 5/5
Hotel needs some major updaates, but its homey. We have gone a couple times and would go again!
- 5/5
Fun place!
- 3/5
Also, I got charged an additional tax of some sort from the hotel that they said was charged since I booked through a third party. Probably won’t book through a third party again!
- 5/5
Pool was great for my kids was really fun! Rooms were clean jacuzzi wasn't very strong in rooms.
- 5/5
The Water is Amazing its Warm and it just was such a Cozy place to stay!
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was amazing
- 5/5
Staff was really nice and helpful!
- 4/5
It was good day stay
- 2/5
We’ve been coming here for several years in a row. We literally only come for the water slide which was broken. Also, the hot tub was shut down our last night there was no hot water to take a shower most of times we tried. This was all enough for us to never stay here again.
- 3/5
The staff was great and friendly. I have been coming here for years and this place has the slowest elevator I have ever seen. We had a 3 night stay and our rooms were not cleaned once, we took out our own trash. One of the beds was broken. The pool is nice but there are better places to stay in Glenwood.
- 5/5
Really awesome place to stay, especially if you have kids.
- 3/5
The hotel seems to be dated and could use a makeover.
- 5/5
Tub was amazing and room was awesome
- 3/5
During our 2 night stay, our room was not cleaned. The towels were not changed or the bed sheets. We had to request clean towels, for the pool and for the room.
- 2/5
The location is great and family friendly. But there was black dust staining the ceilings from all the air vents. My asthmatic child was maxed out on his inhaler and still having trouble breathing so we had to check out leave. Management hasn't responded to my emails expressing my concern and requesting a refund for the night we checked out early. I'm sharing specifically so people with breathing issues will know it's not safe to stay there.
- 2/5
The carpet definitely hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. The property was fine with a good location, but the clientele that stays there has a million rude kids running all over the place, up and down the halls, and playing aggressively in the pool area. If you don't have kids, I wouldn't stay here. And the slide wasn't operating in the pool area which was the main reason we booked this hotel for our daughter.
- 1/5
We selected this hotel for the water slide however, it was broken and according to staff, had been broken for some time. Also needed more light in rooms and breakfast setup was too tight to walk.
- 1/5
The waterslide still not working by the reviews seems like it’s been months. We pay $621 for 2 nights so I thought this hotel will be nice for my kids. It’s old, moldy smell and HORRIBLE breakfast. New Year’s Day I took my kids to the hot springs by the time we returned to shower and get ready for dinner reservations the we had there was No hot water. This is ridiculous I was not going to take my kids to a nice restaurant without showering so we lost our restaurant reservation for new year. I’m so disappointed I will never return to this place. Do not waste your money!!!. Call Expedia, which they email the manager, and they refuse a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! This place it’s a 0 stars.
- 1/5
This place is not clean nor is it worth the price.
- 1/5
When we checked in, they neglected to inform us that the building had no hot water. We’ve now been here for 2 hours and they just keep telling me 30 minutes. No hot water.
- 3/5
The fireplace didn't produce any heat. The staff wasn't super friendly. There wasn't enough food at breakfast to make it all the way through the service time. The bedroom windows were the original windows and didn't seal well making our highway-facing room extremely loud. The lobby was pretty and comfortable to hang out in. Room seemed clean.
- 3/5
Bathroom in room wasn’t very clean, floor in room was sticky, our bottom level room seemed musty. Kids enjoyed water park.
- 4/5
Good customer service
- 1/5
When I called back to inquire about the $10 additional charge, the agent said immediately that only a manager could help, I said all need to know is what the charges are. She seemed annoyed and asked for a confirmation #, I told her I did not have it and she said she couldn’t help me to call back when a manager was available. it felt like my inquiries were an inconvenience to her. I eventually found my confirmation numbers, but the agent seemed enjoyed. I would appreciate it a manager could reach out to me regarding this issue, before doing the other rooms reviews. If it is indeed the case that they cannot look up a reservation without a confirmation number, I find that concerning. I work in hotel hospitality, and the level of service I received was terrible. I have previously stayed at La Quinta and Holiday Inn and wanted to give this hotel a chance since it was conveniently located next to the gondolas. What a disappointment! However, I do want to mention that the breakfast attendant was very nice.

We enjoyed our hotel stay, we got there expecting a fireplace in our room, one of the reasons I booked here (expedia needs to change this) management moved us to their king suite that had a fireplace at no additional charge. Loved that it was next to the gondolas to adventure park. The rooms where clean and spacious. Only thing is was the water pressure is very slow and breakfast was ok, it usual wasnt ready when breakfast started but other than that, very minimal downsides. GOOD definitely out weighs the bad.
- 5/5
Great receptionist
- 5/5
It was amazing stay, the front desk staff ,Louis gave exceptional service
- 1/5
The mattress was terrible, the walls were paper thin, the didnt clean the room the second day even when we left for 5 hours. The lady dodnt understand english I suppose. We never complain like this.
- 1/5
Over priced and we were not informed that the slide was closed and that was the entire reason we stayed here
- 5/5
Accessibility to the park
- 1/5
This property is not what it looks like online. Rooms are outdated and the price is to much for an old hotel
- 3/5
Everything was good beside the big slide was out of service
- 5/5
Did not use the hot tub or pool. The room was extremely spacious and the beds very comfortable. Perhaps some additional artwork would have made the room less sterile.Overall, this was a great property for the price point.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, so cozy ,and comfortable. Really nice front desk service, amazing breakfast and really comfortable bed. Loved staying there
- 5/5
I love this place. I will be back
- 3/5
Worst mattress I ever slept on bed spread had visible stains on it.shower curtain rod came off before showering had to fix it for them.
- 4/5
Great breakfast, clean room
- 5/5
❤️
- 4/5
The room was very clean and quiet… but I thought there was a fireplace in the room and there wasn’t .. but I enjoyed the stay
- 4/5
Nice room, except for the broken bar lock on the door that made it unusable and the fact that there was no housekeeping service done during our entire 3-night stay, not even trash collection and refreshing coffee bar items. I get the sheets not being changed, but would have been nice to have been told upon check in that there wouldn't be any type of housekeeping at all. Hotel was very quiet which was nice and front desk staff were fantastic!
- 4/5
Not nearly as nice and new as I was expecting, and so, a bit overpriced.
- 5/5
I was very pleasantly surprised by the jacuzzi room. Definitely worth it.
- 3/5
This hotel is ok but in general, I would describe it as “sad.” It’s in desperate need of a face-lift. Missing tiles, doors that are missing layers and show the practical board in the middle, broken mirrors, walls with exposed drywall and pool water slide not running. Also, one of of our beds creaked so badly every time you moved on it. Even thinking about moving would make the bed creak. The pool was fun even without the big water slide working. But all in all, I would not pay over $200 again for this hotel. And you have to pay for parking! Not worth it. I’ll look elsewhere next year.
- 3/5
I didn’t know there was a charge for overnight parking. This must be new
- 2/5
The room was dirty and run down. The floors throughout the hotel were dirty and didn't appear to have been cleaned in awhile. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and checked out after one night. The pool area was very dark and dimly lit, the game room was a plus and was enjoyable.
- 2/5
Arcade had more broken machines that not. Waterslide has been broken for weeks. Hot tub smells like pee. Rooms were really clean. Check in was ok. Breakfast is really crowded but the waffle maker is a good idea. No protein other than boiled eggs in a big bowl of water for breakfast though. Lonby and hallways were clean. No loud parties and the view was great. It’s close to everything which is nice. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and activities. For the price per night it’s about what I would expect except for the pool and game room being so run down.
- 2/5
Bed room was dirty w
- 1/5
Pool slide was closed, room was dirty and outdated
- 4/5
The dining room had limited space and we constantly had to ask for supplies to be restocked. In our four days there there was zero room service. We got no new towels and did not have our trash cans.Emptied, we had to do that part ourselves. We were too busy to ask and could have otherwise it was a fun trip.
- 3/5
Good room but the breakfast wasn’t the best
- 3/5
Dirty , not a welcoming staff .. kids pool was the best part !
- 1/5
Staff named Rosa checked in every guest except for me. When I asked to be check in she told me I would have to wait, even though my room was ready.
- 5/5
Receptionist was very helpful and kind
- 1/5
take care of the problem our selfs.we where
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly, rooms were kept very well. Overall very satisfied with our stay! The elevator gives the establishment character
- 3/5
Housekeeping did not clean our room!
- 3/5
The staff was nice, but not impressed by facilities. I had to ask for hand soap for our room and there were no Kleenex. The maid walked into our room at 9:30am without knocking and just stood outside our room waiting for us to leave.
- 2/5
Don’t be fooled by the lobby and “water park” photos. The room was basically the same as any cheap motel, except the tv was slower because their wifi is slow, and there is no cell signal. The “water park” is just a pool with a frog slide. The big water slide wasn’t working when we stayed. We tried to use the hot tub but everything was so crowded and children were running and cannonballing into the hot tub. There were bugs in the room, no tables available for free breakfast, which was honestly the same as a much cheaper hotel. Not worth the cost, stay at a cheaper spot. The discounts they give for nearby attractions are maybe 10% or so.
- 5/5
Very kind and accommodating. Will be back.
- 5/5
clean room
- 4/5
Room was average and showing some age, mattresses on beds were very soft, hotel's indoor water park is awesome with slides, water basketball, etc. Breakfast lacked hot selections but had a decent cold, cereal, pastries variety. Staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
Why would they charge $10 for parking when I'm a guest?
- 3/5
While you're in the hotel they don't clean your room the breakfast is terrible the only good thing is that it's close to the hot springs
- 3/5
Also when I got there I was told that they would be cleaning carpets in the rooms the next day so I had to leave for the day and I came back and had the take 2 chairs off the top of the desk.
- 4/5
They should include the price for parking in their hotel fee or make it clear on their page that there is a $10 a day parking fee.
- 4/5
The curtains in my room were very dirty. The door to the bathroom was scrapped badly. The staff was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
The pools slide was closed no notice online. Checkin time at 4 with no early checkin. The bed sizes were not queen
- 1/5
We are Colorado Natives and have been going to Glenwood since we were kids and have stayed in many other hotels, all of which are better than this hotel. We will not be staying here in the future.
- 5/5
Staff was very pleasant. Early check in was helpful.
- 1/5
Plumbing rattled the walls, staff played mariachi music extremely loud in the lobby plus very thin walls kept me awake all night long. Shower and sheets were extremely dirty, found previous guests hairs in the bed. Smells like mold and mildew. Parking costs extra.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
The room was fabulous, clean, comfortable, and so cozy.
- 4/5
Hot tub and fireplace in room were nice.
- 4/5
Great location for access to Ironwood Springs and gondola. Friendly staff and clean room
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
First off the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. That is key to any business, they made me feel welcomed. The room was huge, everything was great, I think they recently replaced the carpet or it was in a newer condition. My only suggestion would be to replace or clean the showerhead. Mine was clogged.
- 5/5
Room spotless , staff friendly, jacuzzi was great!
- 5/5
Amenities were great
- 3/5
Room was ok, ac systems need to be maintenanced or replaced. Overall stay was good.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
Great location next to a beautiful park, great rooms but hotel spaces are pretty dirty and falling apart.
- 3/5
Overrated
- 3/5
It was ok
- 3/5
This hotel needs an upgrade. The rooms need a renovation. The staff was awesome. You have to pay $10 to park in their parking lot, which was a surprise to us.
- 5/5
Great amenitys.. dog friendly

This was my second time staying in this hotel with my family. I had a great time when I stay here for the time however this time everything was great but in my room there was lot of bugs/ flies. I made video and took some pictures of it too. When I told front desk manager she told me that it’s a bug season and it’s normal. Her answer shocked me however I didn’t create any issue and checked out. I have one question from management if dere is bug season so as a customers we will be expecting bugs, flies, snake etc in our room?
- 3/5
The people were very friendly. The rooms were dated but very clean. They charged a surprise $10 parking fee. The hot tub jets were broken. No jets were functioning.
- 2/5
This place is great in location as you are right next to the adventure park and hot springs. The lobby is well maintained but the hallways and rooms of the hotel were very gross. My room was in the basement and had water damage that obviously was not handled well because mold was blooming on the ceiling. My window also did not shut all the way and there were stains on some of the sheets of the beds. Overall very dingy and not well maintained. I would not stay here again and recommend no one else stay here
- 3/5
Hotel is very dated, rooms were not clean
- 5/5
The TV did not work and we requested it to be fixed but it never was.
- 2/5
I was moved to another room, I should have checked it better. We went to dinner and came back to go to bed and found hair in sheets, bugs on floor, hair in shower. It is an outdated hotel with sheets that are yellow and need to be changed out.
- 5/5
Rosa at the front desk was extremely helpful, we had lots of questions and she was so always so kind. Rooms were very clean.
- 2/5
The bed was not comfortable. I was disappointed to be charged another $10.00 on top of a $367 per night charge to park outside the hotel.
- 5/5
The shower curtain did not contain the water meaning there was water on the floor after a shower
- 1/5
The hotel is run down and not clean. There wasn’t any housekeeping services, our trash was never picked up even after leaving it outside our room door. The paint was peeling from the bathroom and the bathroom door was falling apart. The rooms are very small for a family of 4. On top of everything the rooms are very expensive!!!
- 5/5
Very convenient to Glenwood Springs caverns.
- 3/5
Room was on the smaller side. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not great. Indoor pool was fun for the kids. Hot tub was hot but the jets didn’t work. Location was great to access the adventure park and the hot springs. Overall ok.
- 5/5
We love staying here so much! This is our second time back and I’m sure there will be plenty more! Great location on the edge of town
- 3/5
The rooms were plain with limited amenities. Small bathroom. Parking at the hotel was limited and an extra $10 a day. There are two other options in the immediate area for less money and more impressive rooms.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, & the hotel is very family friendly which is great. Only complaints were the big slide wasn’t open/or at least running in the evenings which was a bummer and the breakfast area was just packed and food options sparse.
- 3/5
Staff was nice and very concisely
- 5/5
Clean and very nice!
- 5/5
Perfect for the location (walkable to Adventure Park and Iron Mt. Springs), could easily walk into the business distrct. Had a small pool for families. Continental Breakfast was easy and simple. Staff were super friendly and slways there to answer questions.
- 2/5
Hot tub jets didn’t work, temperature was not very warm. Place needs renovation.
- 2/5
The stairs have the dirtiest carpet I ever seen in a hotel
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean. It aaa a busy weekend and the lobby was very his. Breakfast was just ok.
- 4/5
That service had me surprised to see very dusty vents and mold under the rim of the toilet of our room, and lots of debris on the carpet in the hallways that was not vacuumed over two days. Not deal breakers and still overall impressed and would stay again!
- 5/5
Hotel is great for kids staff is friendly the lobby is nice. It allows dogs which is nice. But the carpet should be replaced with LVP or something other than carpet it’s old and very used.
- 5/5
Staff were nice and helpful
- 4/5
Good place to stay
- 3/5
Clean room
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay- everything was great! The location is perfect, close to many restaurants and shops. Since the hotel is older, there’s no kitchen, which is the only small downside, but the nearby dining options make up for it. The staff was absolutely wonderful- friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
4 stars overall - for a poor breakfast.
- 2/5
We picked Hotel Glenwood Springs because it is pet friendly. We've stayed at other hotels that disclose up-front if there is an extra pet fee. Many have been no extra fee for pets. No where in my registration did I find a pet fee. The hotel also charged an extra $10 for parking which was not disclosed when we reserved our room. In addition to that there was an extra fee on my card the next day for $6.75. When checking out, I asked the clerk about that and was told it would be credited back to my account. It has not been credited back. Had we known that the room was going to cost an additional nearly $60, we would have stayed at a nicer hotel where the fees were transparent. If your fees were in the paperwork, they were buried in it, and not transparent. I did go through the reservation paperwork again when we returned home and did not find any of these fees anywhere. This is deceptive and unacceptable. We feel very taken advantage of. We will not be back.
- 5/5
Worth it!!! But need new lightings in room.
- 2/5
Not great! No one mentioned the tourism fee!
- 3/5
Upon check in our keys didn’t work to our room, we went to get them fixed and there was no one at the front desk for almost 20 minutes (530pm), other guests were waiting too. The light didn’t work above the bathroom sink and was never fixed during our stay even when my husband offered to change the bulb himself. The fridge and microwave didn’t work either.
- 5/5
Our stay here was fantastic. Everything we came to glenwood springs was right around our stay. Great stay and town.
- 3/5
Hotel is a little run down, but clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast is a joke.
- 5/5
Great location and amenities
- 2/5
I was not happy with my stay at this hotel. The price per night was very high.
- 5/5
Glenwood Springs is such a charming town! This hotel was a great choice, and super affordable. They have an incredible pool too. The mountain gondola is steps away, and Iron Mountain and Glenwood hot springs both so close and amazing. What a welcome surprise. The hot springs were just the best thing for 2 road trip travelers. Breakfast at the hotel was also very well done and appreciated.
- 2/5
Bad service
- 4/5
They charge for parking.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel.
- 4/5
Clean BIG room. We stayed in the one with a hot tub. So it was nice to soak after a long day of hiking. Super convenient if you want to check out the adventure park. Lots of food pretty close by. Close to lots of places. We spent a day hiking in Rifle and another in Maroon Bells, and then of course just spent time in Glenwood Springs. Everyone was nice. Breakfast was meh. Normal stuff. Waffles, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal. Would probably stay again. It wasnt a terrible price.
- 4/5
good location and worked well for one night
- 4/5
I think the maintenance man needs to pay a visit to our room because the deadbolt on the door didn't work, the shower bar is about ready to come off the wall, the vanity faucet isn't secured and flops around, and the TV is hanging crooked as a dogs hind leg. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows are made for a doll house, but the Jacuzzi tub in the room is fantastic!!
- 4/5
Fun place to stay within walking distance of most major attractions and the downtown of Glenwood Springs. Indoor pool and hot tub enhanced our evening.s Breakfast was limited, but okay.
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent pool for all family, cleanliness :)
- 3/5
Hotel location is good despite being right next to popular Adventure Park. You have to pay $10/night for parking. Not worth the amount I paid, especially a weekend night. A very tired property.
- 3/5
Breakfast was not fresh enough, eggs cooked over and looks not eatable. Room looks big different from picture in a website, look so poore
- 4/5
The Hotel was nice and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The continental. Breakfast surprisingly very good with options I didn’t expect. Waffles you could make yourself was a real treat.
- 1/5
I liked the location and what the hotel had to offer with the amusement park right outside. But when there was toenail clippings all over the floor that got stuck to my sock and when i killed bugs crawling out of the drain and in the jetted tub and on my bed, that made any positive thing about this place go right out the window. Rosa at the front literally looked up from her cell and said yeah all our guests have bugs on their pillows in their beds and room and that she couldnt change me and my son rooms until she spoke to a manager. The maintenance man changes the p-trap on the sink and then it leaked. He didnt even vacuum the toenails up despite bringing a vacuum. The hotel wouldnt change me rooms and wouldnt refund my money, even though we left 15 mins after arrival. I get there's bugs, I'm not ignorant. Itself the blatant not moving me rooms knowing i was right. I paid money to stay in their hotel and their jobs are to make the guests comfortable and happy. This was awful. I have so many pictures pf bugs i killed and the toenail clippings.
- 3/5
Good customer service. Rooms still can be clean. Not much variety for breakfast. It is ok. Not too bad.
- 5/5
Awesome spot!
- 3/5
It was alright but a little underwhelming for the price. The game room is pretty good for sure. The water slide is good. The beds are super weird like industrial air mattresses. Our room had a old pane of glass that needed to be replaced. It looked to have leaked so long that it just had a crusty residue between the panes. It looked like old spray on snow like you see around Christmas. Staff was super nice. Lobby is nicely redone but it kind of ends there.
- 5/5
Had a nice country feel to it and the surrounding area. Nice little town to walk around, hike. Loved the Doc Holiday buriel grounds, bar and restaurant.
- 5/5
It was my first time staying in this hotel, and it was a very nice experience. It is conveniently placed right next to the gondola that takes you up to the Glenwood Caverns amusement park, and right behind is a trail to the Iron Mountain Hotsprings. My room had a hot tub in it that was clean and well maintained. Overall experience for me was a 5/5
- 5/5
Bjj
- 5/5
Right next to adventure park. Great place for kids, arcade on the bottom floor so bring some quarters. Pool had a big slide and was heated. Good quick breakfast
- 3/5
We thought all of the staff was very polite and helpful. We did not like the comfort of the bed and the pillows.
- 1/5
I stay all over the country and world and will NEVER use Hotels.com let alone stay at this hotel again the Silver Spruce hotel is what I would suggest well kept and very nice staff.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean. Custom service was great and there were no issues.
- 4/5
Convenient location if you are visiting Iron Mountain Hot Springs
- 3/5
The bedside lamp was permanently on unless you unscrew the bulls the sink didn’t drain freely, the carpet was sticky. The facility needs an update. Good location with easy walk to town.
- 3/5
The hotel overall was fine. The kids loved the pool, the room was clean and comfortable, location was great (right next door)for the adventure park and gondola! The only negative was the breakfast. The juice machine was completely empty
- 5/5
Comfortable beds and a very friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10- would highly recommend. That has been our experience.
- 3/5
Perfect location. Nice breakfast in the morning. The pool was great. Wasn’t the cleanest place we have ever stayed but the pool and the location make up for it.
- 3/5
Never got any room service even having our door tag hanging out requesting it. Lamps wouldn’t work either.
- 4/5
We stayed with kids and the water park was a hit. Being right next to the Gondola for the Caverns was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Kids enjoyed the game room. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hotel needs an update, carpets have large stains especially downstairs by game room and looked as they have not been vacuumed in weeks.
- 4/5
Location is perfect if you’re visiting the amusement park and Iron Mountain hot springs. Both are very close by.
- 3/5
Pretty run down room, breakfast was not great, lots of plastic use. For the price I wouldn't stay there again.
- 3/5
This property is conveniently located to go to iron mountain hot springs, and the adventure park, but it is not worth $190 a night. It is geared towards kids and that is mostly fine but it leaves some things to be desired. The breakfast was underwhelming to say the least. It was waffles, cereal, and some bread products. All very sugary options. We decoded as adults we needed some healthier options and so we went to the 19th st dinner (which I would highly recommend) Over all its not as clean as it should be, its a bit run down, and over priced. There are other hotels in the area that are better maintained for the same price.
- 5/5
Room and bed are super comfortable and the shower pressure was great.
- 3/5
Positives: Good location, front desk staff was nice and got a room upgrade as far as size but when entering into the room it truly didnt feel like an upgrade. But it appreciate it. Front area/lobby was decent.
- 1/5
Property was overall dirty from the rooms to the pool. The lady at check-in was rude and delayed check in by sitting (we could see her looking at us). Bugs were all over the inside of the building and floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. Also, someone attempted to pry open my truck tonneau cover as it was parked out front. Will not ever stay at this hotel again. 0/10 do not recommend.
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be renovated and updated. The hallway carpet is dirty the floors in the rooms and elevators are dirty. The staff is not friendly and acted like we were a bother. The breakfast might be ok if the set up was better but they have food set up across the room and to many tables crowding everything so you can’t get by people sitting. The pool is filled with so much chlorine that it will burn your eyes and throat while sitting in the pool area. It is a nice place for the kids to have something to do but almost not worth staying for the other issues it’s old and needs to be updated asap.
- 3/5
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was minimal. Pool was not as nice as the pictures. In fact disappointing.
- 4/5
We were traveling with bicycles and felt very comfortable, locking them up and leaving them on our car overnight.
- 1/5
Hotel breakfast had no options for a child with food allergies. Beds were uncomfortable and dogs peeing on the columns in the lobby. Needs a deep cleaning in my opinion
- 5/5
A very clean and pleasant place to stay. The addition of a water park is a major bonus, especially for families traveling with kids. Everything is within walking distance and feels safe.
- 3/5
i think for $300.00/night, it was expensive for a slightly run down place. the girl working at the front desk was very nice and accommodating and she was handling the breakfast plus the desk! kudos to her.
- 5/5
Kind of a strange mix of a hotel - it’s outdated and a little dark, but at the same time it’s terrific for kids, with a decent free breakfast, a fun indoor pool, arcade games, and steps to the gondola to the adventure park. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the room has a fridge. I’m not sure I’d choose it as a single adult, but for families in this area it’s ideal.
- 2/5
Mediocre facility. At check in I was immediately advised No Housekeeping. Pretty much a self service facility. Might consider a kiosk check in, auto dispense key and deal with whatever comes up yourself. Just a change in vacationing.
- 3/5
Our room didn't have a working tv, and the ironing board snelled really bad. When I went to iron my husbands shirt it made it smell like dirty rag. The property itself was good, basic hotel room, but for the price could have been better. The pool was great for our daughter and water was warm. We were given a discount but not sure if we would stay again.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was kind and very helpful. Rooms are dated, but are fine for a few nights. Pool was great for the kids!
- 5/5
Clean no complaints
- 3/5
Great kids pool
- 2/5
The pool was great, the slide was fun and the hot tub was good. But the rooms were sub-par at best.
- 5/5
The water slide in the hotel was a hit with the kids!
- 2/5
I have always stayed here when i come to glenwood. This time the desk staff did not make us feel welcome, said theyd call/text when our room was ready, they did not. Once we got our room they never told us about the usual, wifi, pool hours, breakfast times, etc. they played rap music loud in the lobby, good song but very unprofessional. The continental breakfast sucked. Hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, yogurt… ill be staying somewhere different from now on
- 5/5
Liked the location. Good for the price. Breakfast was lacking.
- 2/5
The room was extremely disappointing. It was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable and the A.C. didnt work. We were told they would transfer us rooms and when it came time to make that happen, they gave us every excuse in the book including "management isnt here on the weekends". Maintenance was pleasantly helpful but the front desk staff was inconvenienced to do this job and look up from their phones when needed. Overall, I wont be staying here again.
- 1/5
The hotel was dirty. Found an old band aid and large alive bug crawling in the bed. We ended up checking into a different hotel and we were not refunded our $763 even though we did not stay there
- 4/5
Property was a bit dated, but charming.
- 5/5
Location to adventure park
- 3/5
Had to switch rooms because TV and phone both inoperable. New room had very low water pressure in the shower and a few bugs (NOT bedbugs) in the room and hall. One elevator for entire property that ran slowly. Included breakfast was wonderful and open until 10, so we did not have to get up early to catch breakfast in time. “Pool” looked like a great time for families with small kids. More of a water park with a couple of slides and shallow water. Not a traditional pool that an adult or teenager would be able to swim or enjoy. Great location right next door to Glenwood Canyon Adventure Park Gondola.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Room was good size. Only problem was ac in room wasnt working quite up that was room 303. And a little bit of a bug problem not really bad but thought i'd mention it. Other than that it really was a great stay.
- 5/5
Great location and clean rooms
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, from front desk to anyone we have seen on the premises. Great clean room, many options when it came to size/setup. Cool breakfast options, oh and I let’s not forget about pool and arcade-that sure helped me keep the kiddos happy. I was also so happy to get the “here you go with dining options” sheet when I asked for recommendations.
- 2/5
We chose this hotel for the pool and it was close to the hot springs. Our room was in the basement facing the interstate. The door was really difficult to open. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors perfectly. They were screaming in the halls at 1:30am and it woke us all up. There is no hooks or towel holders at all. In the bathroom you have to hang your towel on the toilet or door knob. There was a hole in one of the quilts in the bed. A large hole. We had two adjoining rooms and in one room the fan did a squeal beep sound constantly and the other room the fan/air conditioning sounded like a broken washing machine. I had to turn the beeping one off and then the room was hot so we had to crank up the one in the other room to keep the other room somewhat cool. The door in between rooms doesn’t stay open it’s so heavy so we had to prop them with soap bottles. The room and hotel are in serious need of updating. In the pool the slide is held together with duct tape and a strap. I wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Love the indoor pool, free breakfast and close the Adventure Park and restaurants!
- 4/5
Little outdated need improvement but excellent location.
- 5/5
Loved it here
- 4/5
Good hotel specially if you take kids. The only bad thing was that no one went to clean our room so we didn’t have clean towels or shampoo & conditioner.
- 3/5
Inside rooms are very outdated. Sheets & pillowcases very dingy & old smelling & looking. Breakfast didn’t have any fresh fruit, juices were very watery almost translucent for apple juice & orange juice (this was for 2 days).
- 5/5
It’s was a nice place to stay with a convenient location for us. The adventure park was right outside our door. I would recommend t this place. The kids loved the pool.
- 5/5
Great if you have kids, but nothing fancy. Location is great for the adventure park.
- 4/5
Hotel was comfortable and family friendly. The bathrooms could have used an upgrade as well as the pool area. They were great checking us in an hour and a half early and location is nice, right next door to the gondolas for the adventure park.
- 3/5
Had insects crawling in our beds and clothes when entered the hotel and room. Room bedsheets had insects
- 2/5
Just checked in- first girl at desk was nice. Went back after we found lots of hair on our bed sheet and it was inside out. Didn’t appear clean. She was rude and said she was the only one at the desk so couldn’t help but could give me a sheet. I asked for a different room and she said no- I said the hotel is not sold out (literally like 5 cars in lot and rooms available online). She said she’d have to call her manager and then ignored me and moved on to lady behind me. I went to my car and when I returned she said she’d come change the sheet.. she didn’t come and after an hour plus decided to take the dirty sheets to her to make our own beds. Then she offers my husband a new room when he went to get sheets. Why not 1.5 hours ago when I asked?? Not after kids swim and shower! This is not worth $200+. 😡There was also bugs on the bed. Gross. Agree- family of four and only 3 towels, one tiny toiletry… kids enjoy the pool and slide.
- 5/5
In our 1st room, the AC didn’t work well. It was so miserable. The front desk graciously moved us to a different room that was so nice and cool. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was good, and the pool was fun for the kids. I would stay here again next time.
- 4/5
Decent breakfast. Good size king room.
- 3/5
For the price I was expecting to be a bit more impressed. Breakfast had only waffles as a hot option. Hard boiled eggs and coffee was pretty gross. The location is super convenient and is close to local attractions, but the state of the hotel is definitely needing updating. The waterpark was good for my 3 year old son, but it was small if you have older kids.
- 3/5
The elevator sucks and when i asked for room services i got an attitude from this lady in the hallway
- 4/5
It’s close to Iron Mountain Hot Springs
- 1/5
I was given a room in the "garden" level. What a joke, thats another word for basement. The first room was dirty, sheets stained and the bed had bed bugs. I showed a few specimens to the front desk and they wanted me to stay in there regardless. Talk about unprofessional, as I was talking to the receptiionist here take out arrived. So I had to wait for her to get here affairs in order. She.moved me to another room, also with stained sheets and faulty AC that rattled all night. NEVER AGAIN.
- 4/5
Key door room did not work. I had to go back down. They gave us another set. Those did not work maintenance. Had to come up. He could not get it to open. They did put us in a different room.
- 4/5
Great place for the family. Kind of older rooms and dirtier. But great staff and close to gondola to adventure park and iron springs
- 2/5
Would give a 5 star rating but front desk girl charged me again for my stay when I checked in even though my stay had already been paid for when I booked it online.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk especially the young lady during the day shift. Our room smelled clean & great! Breakfast was great with lots of choices.
- 1/5
We have stayed here before and it was nice. This time they stuck us on the bottom floor which is apparently the pet floor. Room was not clean, and there dogs barking all the time
- 2/5
Staff wasn’t very friendly, no personality for customer service. The room was okay, it was clean but old and needs updating. Bathroom door has scratches all over it like someone locked their dog inside too long. TV hangs crooked.
- 4/5
Great last min stay.
- 3/5
Just OK, elevator and room has wall damage that was not repaired... just seemed beat up a bit.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice and family friendly. It was convenient walking distance. Our key cards kept needing to be reissued because they stopped working. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work, which was fine. Staff was great though.
- 5/5
This hotel was great for families. They had a cool pool for the kids and an arcade as well. They offered breakfast which included Belgium waffle station, cereal, bagels and fruit. Different kinds of drinks as well. Vending machines are conveniently located and the Adventure park is located right next door. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
Close to everything. Clean. A bit noisy on the highway side but not a deal breaker. I wish the breakfast had bacon or sausage but again not that big of a deal
- 4/5
Overall great for what we needed as we were traveling with 2 dogs. Service was great at great location.
