Location is excellent for access to facilities on Patriot Blvd and Glenview. Hotel is very clean, well maintained and staff are helpful. As this area is away from downtown Chicago, a car (or rental car) is useful for getting around, such as going to a restaurant.

Clean room, nice breakfast, roomy suite.

Staff needs to be more helpful, especially after I reported something is not working in my room. It should not be that "it should work, it is weird it does not work", and no follow-up.

They include breakfast, which is nice. My room was spacious. The staff were helpful. The only negative was that the rooms are not ready until 4:00, but you can store your luggage. You can walk or take a rideshare 1.2 miles into town and get something to eat. I would stay there again.

This left us spending much more money on transportation than expected and walking a lot more carrying a toddler than we planned for . What was meant to be a restful weekend away turned into navigating trains buses and private cars that had car seat options. If you’re booking here because it’s “family friendly” then don’t.

Great location and breakfast. Kitchenette meant we saved$ not going out. Room was listed as being fully handicap accessible with a walk in shower, but in a 2br/2ba suite both were tubs. Would have picked a cheaper option had I known in advance. Even messaged the property to be sure in advance but got no reply. Carpet needs cleaning in room.

My room was clean and quiet. They only clean the room once a week, but that didn’t bother me. The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location was great! Close to food and felt very safe. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the soft blankets they had. We forgot to bring glassware and they had some in the cupboards! My husband went down for breakfast and said it was just ok. The usual hotel breakfast spread.

SO happy I discovered Staybridge! There are several options in the area that may seem the same on the surface. Staybridge stands out for its warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s polished, tasteful, clean. The staff are pleasant and helpful. A free breakfast buffet is always a bonus and it’s a decent offering - but breakfast isn’t my thing, so I’m not expecting much. For me, it’s in the details of the room. Everything you need in all the right places with working tech - which is a rare find!

I took off my shoes and stepped on the carpet and immediately soaked through my socks of Brown sludge liquid. It took them another hour to get me a new room. The new room I got was surrounded by people having loud adult activities, screaming, shaking, banging for hours each night. Worst hotel stay ever.

I have experienced the worst customer service. Started with unable to get my card to swipe for payment. Used another card, my card that supposedly was not working was charged and refund. Why I don’t know, my card was fine. Manager needs customer training.

As a busy person and a poor planner I really goofed up planning this trip! The front desk staff and management was so helpful. I feel so blessed to have my faith in humanity restored. My stay turned out perfect. The weekend would have been a nightmare without the hotel staff’s help. Thank you again you are very appreciated!

The hotel is okay. It’s dated and I don’t mind that but it shouldn’t show on the floors and walls. The blackout curtains don’t work if the window can peak around them. The noise from the other guest/dogs made the night time bad.

AC did not work in our room. It was over 80 by morning. Other than that the stay was good.

Breakfast was good but my kiddos were looking for bacon, kitchen staff are not friendly as if they don’t see us managing their own business, patio and backyard are spacious, swimming pool is clean but towels are not regularly replenished. I like the room we picked with mini kitchen from plates to silverware it’s all in there from coffee and condiments kitchen towels portable stove microwave and dishwasher it feels like you are staying in mini apartment very convenient I love it.

Nice breakfast and complimentary happy hour. Good location near the tollway and not far from O’Hare airport. No twin bed option unless you pay $50 more. They consider this an “upgrade.” Absolutely ridiculous. No other hotel I have stayed at has ever charged for this option.

There was a good 3-4” of snow and they made no attempt to shovel the sidewalk or entrance and it doesn’t look like the parking lot has been plowed all winter.

The hotel needs to be updated. They were in the process of painting walls in the main areas and hallways. Only partial walls were primed. We were there for two weekdays, and there was no progress with the painting. It actually looked like they were priming over wallpaper. The three bar chairs we saw in the community/dining area were ripped In our room, the bathroom door handle coming off.

There was a large oil spill in the parking lot that was hard to see until you accidentally step in it. The internet was slow (10mbit/s) But what really stuck out disappointingly was breakfast. Breakfast was supposed to be over at 9:30 yet the staff started shutting it down at 9:15…even though many customers were just arriving. On Christmas Day when kid asked if he could refill his juice at 9:30 they said no…and not in a nice tone.

The mattress needs to be replaced.

We really liked our stay - the hotel and grounds were clean, and staff was efficient and friendly. We like having a kitchenette. to have food in our room in case we want to stay in. Love having a sofa to sit on instead of the bed. We watched several movies inbetween the time of activities and events that we came to do. It was very relaxing.

The one bedroom suite was great! The kitchen had everything we needed; the breakfast was good; the staff was friendly. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Room was clean but no maid service for four out of five nights. I did pick up a couple of towels at the front desk. The fifth night I just put out the do not disturb sign.

The facility was very convenient to restaurants and shopping, with better than adequate parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were decent, but it didn't open until 7:30 on weekends, not terribly conducive for those needing an early start. Finally, but important - there were no USB outlets in the room for charging our devices, unless one has a “cube(s),” which we did not.

Great place for a long term stay. Happy hour 3 nights a week, free laundry and nice gym. Only complaint is the card entry on the side door is extremely difficult to use as the cover can not be opened fully..

The property could use a little freshening up. It’s run down however it’s clean, quiet and the rooms are generously sized. My king bed was really comfortable and the hot breakfast much appreciated.

I was under duress in the airport after a flight was cancelled at the last minute. I searched for hotels available 'that night' and double-checked the dates of my search. However, when I finally booked the room, the dates were for the next day. I contacted Expedia immediately, but the hotel refused to refund even part of the money. This may be 'legal', but it lacks human decency. I will never stay at the Staybridge Suites.

Suite was nicely laid out with lots of kitchen essentials, beds were very comfortable with good quality bed linens

We were happy to have a kitchenette and the breakfast was edible. Those were the only positive things about our stay. We will never go back to this hotel.

Loved the place i got a good sleep

I was looking for something more than half decent for staying with my family in our quick one day trip to Chicago, I chose to stay outside of downtown Chicago to be able to be in a good hotel. This hotel was not it, it wasn’t as bad as a motel but this is nowhere near a good hotel. This is just a regular holiday inn, the sofa bed was nasty and old full of stains, the bedroom beds were smaller than standard queen, the mattress was years old, I woke up with pain in my back due to the spring poking my back all night. Again, if you are in for a quick stay and you get it at a competitive price to holiday inn, then it’s great , but if you’re thinking this is anything remotely close to the Hilton, Marriot etc than it’s not even close.

We have been staying in this hotel several times when traveling to Chicago. Nice and quite place to stay. This time, we were first given a room on the first floor, next to the bar and swimming pool. It was very loud. We were then asked to move to an upper-level room and the front desk then changed the room.

Nice, quiet, updated property with pleasant staff. Only issue was we had called for an early check in as we were arriving early to the area and needed to get ready for a social event. When we arrived room not ready and we had to wait additional 35 min which made it stressful to arrive for event parking

We stayed in a two room suite with our 16yr old son. We loved that the rooms were on different sides of the common room for privacy. The beds were very comfortable and having separate bathrooms was a big plus. The kitchen had everything we needed, full size fridge, oven, microwave, full stocked cupboard(glasses, plates, silverware). The room was very quiet and we did not hear any outside noise. The breakfast on Sunday was very good. Scrambled eggs, real bacon, fresh cut fruit (not frozen)that went along with the yogurt bar. Scones, bread and bagels for toasting. Waffle maker and juice. My son eats cereal, so he was happy with fruit loops and a banana. The staff was constantly cleaning. I was very impressed. Only downfall was the shower in the double bed bathroom was either HOT or cold water, no in between, so we all had to share the other bathroom for showers. Loved our stay and would stay again.

Fantastic place! We’ve been on a road trip for almost two weeks and this so far is the best hotel yet. No complaints and I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a room with a kitchen and it was by far the best one we’ve seen. Had everything and more that I need to make a few meals at. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to family in the area.

If you 15-16 times customer and assk for small things to understand and fix. Forget, no one will help. Expedia makes mistakes and know that, but don’t want together with hotel collaboration with very nice repeat customer

The Monday through Wednesday night social hrs were great! We were busy n unfortunately didnt make it but a great concept! Didnt have to pay for washing n dryer was a big plus! Didnt have to find quarters! Room was very clean, no complaints n nicely fit 7 of us! Dont forget to turn on ur ice machine in the freezer, thats ur only ice!

Staybridge is our usual place of choice when staying on the Chicago Northshore. The room we had this time (417) was a bit tired in furnishings and the HVAC unit. The couch was overly soft to sit on. Pillows on the bed was overly soft, and the temperature control in the room would not work on low, only high, which was too noisy. We have stayed here the past few times we're in the area, but we may look for another option in the future.

Stayed here on a business trip. I would’ve given them 5 stars but it wasn’t that great. The door of my room was very loose you could probably push it open. That didn’t make me feel safe and when I told the front desk, the lady there said she would get maintenance on it. Also, the remote control in the bedroom only worked to turn on the tv and for the volume. It didn’t work to change the channels. When I told the guy at the front desk, he said he would get maintenance on it but didn’t even write down my room #. It seems that is their answer for anything that goes wrong. When I went to breakfast, I witnessed an older employee yelling at a guest because she was on the other side of the fruit bar. She was VERY rude. Their website also states that they have a shuttle from the airport, but when I called to find out more information, I was first told to call them when I arrive and they would send a shuttle but when I called two days before my departure, they gave me the number for a taxi service and said they do not have a shuttle. So their website is wrong and so it Hotels.com’s description of this hotel’s amenities.

I love staying here when i visit family in Chicago brcause its close to Planet Fitness, Whole Foods and Sweet Greens.

Has full refrigerator/kitchenette, very good breakfast and coffee, very clean, very nice staff. Close to very good restaurants, shopping, great suburban location/amenities and close to train and airport.

I would think because I paid over $300 for one night my bedroom tv would work, I guess not. Stained carpets, piling walls. Still waiting on my deposit back and it’s been almost a week. The stay was ok wouldn’t stay again

Negative would be the pool heater was broken and we didn't know until we walked into the pool room with kids anxious to get in.

We traveled from Ohio to attend a concert in Chicago; this was basically the most affordable hotel we could find. We were pleasantly surprised - the room was perfectly clean and modern. My mom kept our little ones so we could get a break and we slept soooo good! We will definitely return to this hidden gem!

We had the worst experience at this hotel. My family and I were staying for the weekend so our kids could attend a camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. On Friday night, the people in the room above us had a party. Loud music. Banging. Screaming. So much screaming. We talked to the person at the front desk who called them and asked them to be quiet. They didn’t listen. We called again. Rinse and repeat. My husband went down to talk to the front desk person. At this point it was after 1 am. The employee wasn’t able to do anything else but call the room. Obviously, the people staying there didn’t care. But we were left with no sleep in an already stressful situation. No one at the hotel did anything to try and make this right.

Place has a very bad permeating smell starting from from the hallway and inside the suite. Facility is old. Bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever. It has three beds, so that is nice.

The pool wasnt available because heater broke.stayed a week and wasnt fixed. Booked because of pool ( my son is a swimmer). Can't relly on it being available next trip in 2 months. Last night a pet barked a lot on last night. Love animals but was on a medical treament, needed good rest

Great place and price for the stay. They had free laundry which was great for family. It was a suite so they provided everything for the kitchen. Definitely would stay agin. Also rooms were spacious. Only con was they didnt have and bedding for the pull out couch but overall it was comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Staybridge. The hotel is very clean, nice amenities, good variety at breakfast and friendly staff. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of plastic and styrofoam used for the breakfast. Additionally it’s not pleasant to eat using pure plastic and styrofoam. That aspect is difficult to stomach as that contributes so much to the landfill. I hope they can change to something more environmentally friendly. Thanks for considering this request! We look forward to staying again with you.

I’ve always like the set up of these rooms and that that have a small kitchen. This trip, I killed 2 bugs in the bathroom. The rooms could also use update. It’s time!

Everything was really great, the only thing I would mention is that the breakfast staff had no idea what was in the breads and other food as far as allergens.

The A/C was not working properly. There are no ice machines and the refrigerator is supposed to start making ice within 30 minutes. Mine took over 2 hours to produce a few cubes. Bring your own! Be aware that the ratings are subject to people looking at extended stay properties.

There has been a constant noise coming from inside the wall. breakfast 7:30-9:30am by the way.

The tub had a huge crack in it that I almost cut my foot on. They didn't do anything to switch my room or refund any money back

Both rooms were past their prime, with rips and stains in the upholstery. The floor of the second bathroom even appeared to have blood stains in the grout. The chlorine level in the pool was so high that the kids wanted to get out after a short time because their eyes were red and burning. Finally, breakfast was ok, but the staff was very rude and blocked us with a rope at precisely 10:30 and refused to let us refill a drink.

This hotel is so clean. The room is spacious! A laundry basket was a great addition. They have dove products in the bathroom/shower. Breakfast had fruit, waffles, bagels, english muffins, sausage, mini omelets. The breakfast area had 2 staff members and were sure to keep it ckean and well maintained. The office area allowed me to print documents with no problems. They have 2 computers and printers. I highly recommend this hotel.

It was really nice. Our suite (2 bedroom) had plenty of space. This hotel was clean and well kept. Usually there are many odors at a hotel. Not this one. It smelled really nice and clean.

Front desk was nice they upgraded are room. The breakfast was not so good and they were. Running out of simple things like oatmeal! The breakfast staff was ok but when there was no seating and we came back at the closing they had packed up most of the food and did not offer to bring it out unfortunately so we had to go out and pay for breakfast, it nice!

I love Staybridge, but this place is needing goid updating. Breakfast was just basic at best like any hotel, actually had better at cheaper hotels. Hallway carpets looked dirty. Doorlock on the room was questionable and was damaged. Room was ok though.

Family visit and thought this place was closest to our destination. Very comfort and convenient. Surrounded by shopping and restaurants although not in walking distance. Great value for price. Will definitely come back again
