The room smelt so bad of urine and cigartettes is was nearly impossible to fall asleep. There were people outside of our room swearing and being loud. I would not recommend this as a place to stay for the price and if you are traveling with children.

Has potential but not cleaned well. Killed 3 spiders in just a couple of hours. Toilet and sink were not cleaned well. Stains on comforter. Felt dirty. Breakfast was okay but the guy took out like 4 muffins at a time- and you had to ask him to replenish things (like he was hoping people would just leave). Pity because the decor was nice even though the room was small. Bathrooms updated too, but again not quite clean. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Had it been at the lower prices then maybe you can say it makes sense.

If you have absolutely no other option due to pets. Do a b&b. The customer service at this location is atrocious. The lack of hospitality and customer attentiveness caused a mediocre stay to become absolutely terrible. Try any other sister affiliates if you can.

Recently stayed this past weekend (5/14-5/16) for my daughter's college graduation. Booked 2 rooms with 2 double beds over a month ago for a 2 night stay for 5 people and 2 small dogs. The rooms were very nice, beds were very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very organized and was good as well. The only issue I had was upon check-in we were informed that dogs were not allowed in the rooms i had booked and my daughter and her friend were downgraded to a smaller room with one double bed. The room was much smaller and very cramped for 2 adult girls and 2 small dogs. I would recommend the hotel to familes without pets, but I would suggest putting those details of which buildings have pet friendly rooms on the website more clearly, especially for families who travel long distances with pets. Other than that issue, we found that the hotel was one of our better stays in Albany.

My light had a malfunction in my room and would turn on every 30 minutes. I did not get much sleep because of it and the hotel staff just told me they would check it later. I was hoping for a free future night!! I guess not

Don't trust the pics they show on line! They have two buildings. One is newer, hotel but they put us in the older motel. Small crampy, dingy room. Motion activated light switch came on 6 times during the night with no motion to activate it. Sink faucet was not connected to the sink and just flopped around. Scarry to use .

Orange juice was not good. The creamer curdled in the coffee. The eggs and sausage were cold and not enough out for all of the guests

Don’t close the pool at 10pm. What’s the difference if someone swims at 7pm or midnight?

We had to switch rooms due to lack of heat, the linens were stained, the pool had broken steps in the ladder and things floating in it, the hot tub was broken, there was options to cast from your phone but the internet was so poor that it wasn't a true option

The water in the room was cold and barely got warm. The carpet in the room was old and dirty. The ice machine and vending machines didn't work . I definitely wouldn't stay here again to say the least

Quality inn lacking Quality. Room was ok, bathroom felt dingy, water never really got hot just very warm. There was a layer of clear ice leading into main entrance of the larger hotel building, that they didn’t address, even after informing staff multiple times. I slipped a few times during my stay. The breakfast was sparse and the hot water spout for tea was covered with white mold so I microwaved bottled water. There is a good gas station next door, which has foodstuff but it’s not open 24 hours, so stock up! I’m certain there is also a part time shelter on the property. It served its main purpose, a place with a bed.

But the non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Someone had wrapped the smoke alarm in a plastic bag. The faucet in the bathroom was not fully attached to the sink. The water fountain in the main building did not operate. The clerk in the lobby was very kind and she provided us with drinking water. The property is undergoing remodeling, so I expect that a lot of the issues we observed will be corrected as construction is completed.

Check in was fine, room was worn but almost clean. But it reeked of cigarette smoke (a supposed non-smoking room). There were 2 different bugs spotted, (but no sign of bedbugs) so other bugs were not a big deal. Location was convenient for our needs and it was only 1 night.

I booked a suite with a King bed and a couch. The hotel was listed as pet-friendly, but when I got there, they put us in a small room with double beds and no couch, saying it was the only pet-friendly option. This was after charging us $20/dog, also not disclosed. We were looking forward to a fun vacation with our pups but feel we got a bait-and-switch. We stayed only one night and booked a different hotel the next night, since this was so disappointing.

Basically a truck stop motel. Room/ building smelled like mold and mice. Did not see and roaches or bedbugs thankfully. It was convenient for the time being but will not book again

Once in our hotel it was dark and smelled. We decided to turn in the keys and leave because we just did not feel good about staying in the Hotel.

The bed sheets were badly stained, and looked unwashed. A hole in the wall, windows did not lock and the front door latch had issues locking. We checked in, looked at the conditions and did not stay. We rebooked at another hotel. Charging $175/night for a hotel in that condition and not being clean is unaccetable

Breakfast toaster was broken and so many customers didn’t like service.

Long wait to check in (20 minutes with only one person ahead). Non-smoking room wreaked of smoke. Room had stains and microwave was dirty. Room hadn’t even been dusted. Overall big disappointment.

Our suite included a pull-out sofa bed, which unfortunately exhibited significant staining. Furthermore, the limited space made deploying the sofa bed impractical. The provided beds were full-sized rather than queen-sized, potentially leading to discomfort for two occupants. Considering the nightly rate of $220, the value proposition warrants further evaluation.

The front desk worker was on her phone and not at the desk. When we asked for more milk she just shook her head.

We needed bubbly water for an acute upset stomach, but the vending machine was broken. The nearest open drugstore (for alka-seltzer) meant getting into a car in the middle of the night. When we turned on the tap in the wee hours, all we got coming out of the pipes for 10 minutes was air. The folks running the desk did not behave as though they had the authority or knowledge to explain or help resolve these problems. All this was disappointing. That said, the room was clean & well prepared and the location felt safe. But I guess, bring your own snacks & meds & comfort items, as you won't find them on site.

Adjacent room that has “visitors” come in for loud 30 minute “interactions” in the middle of the night.Short enought to not turn off the car or the head lights. No worries though. Do not disturb sign out as sun comes up. An adjacent Stewart’s shop that has some women “looking for work” right behind the store from sundown to sun rise. I thought they only made movies about such places. I never really thought they really existed.

The staff were very nice and polite, but it seemed like they were not very knowledgeable — almost as if the person helping me had just been hired and hadn’t received proper hospitality training yet. There was no sense of urgency with the service. The vending machine was out of order, and it would have been helpful if they had mentioned that there’s a convenience store right next door where I could buy water and snacks. I also had to check into two rooms because both rooms smelled like smoke. The final room was clean, and I appreciated the friendliness, but I think the motel could improve training for new staff and provide guests with better information about amenities and alternatives when something isn’t working.

I stayed in what I assume is the older building of the property. It was nothing special, but nothing really bad. For $100-ish and for 1 night, it served its purpose.

Location was horrible, off the beaten path. Very limited staff. VERY SKETCHY area with sketchy people staying at the hotel. Felt very uncomfortable at the pool with my children. Those pretending to use the weight room made us very uneasy. Tried calling feomt desk, no answer. Also cleanliness of hotel and room was very questionable. Steong chemical.smells and dorty sheets. We will not be back again.

Altogether a 5 rating out of 10. They are nice staff however. Semi clean rooms. Lots of workers hanging outside and 1 trucker was a bit too friendly. Had to go down 5 mins to Dunkin for a better breakfast. Shower celing was gross. But we slept well. It served its purpose. Needed to be in the area for work. Car was safe . No wake up calls available. Again, the staff was very kind. Thats important. Place seems old as many are for the reasonable price. Room was decorated nicely. Pool and exercise room are good. But location was concerning, anyone can walk in and if you're a female alone, keep alert. Enough said.

A basic but clean inn perfect for an overnight stay on a road trip - no frills

There was black mold on the shower ceiling, stained sheets and dirty carpets. The lady at the front desk yelled at us and told us we couldn't have breakfast at 9:25, because it was closed. Breakfast ends at 9:30am. The coffee was gross and the breakfast area was not clean at all. The entire hotel smelled badly. Our kids swam in the pool but it was very cloudy and scary.

The only thing that I would say is that they really need to properly clean their toilets. Saw the rims were not cleaned at all during my stay.

Pool was old, but usable, I never rate a hotels for their pools. The weight room definitely should be updated, but in the price range. You get what you pay for. I can definitely rate this hotel for a great place to sleep. I booked a 2 night stay, no problems what so ever.. 4 stars...

Comfortable room with comfortable bed. Only issue I had was, I couldn’t synch my phone to the TV & was just too tired to try to figure it out.

Staff was very courteous and helped anyway they could, offered excellent advice on places to go to.

Perfect for a one night stay to break up our road trip. Staff were courteous and we were able to park near our room, making unloading/loading super easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The mini fridge was a great size. Although we got to breakfast around 9:15 (ends at 9:30), the staff member on duty made more coffee when it was out, which was much appreciated.

Rooms could use a refresh. Paint and baseboards and caulk could go a long way. Shower and sink had shampoo/conditioner available. Breakfast ended at 9:00 and it was very busy at 8:50. Possibly extend? It was a typical hotel breakfast but with mini pancakes instead of a waffle maker. There was someone helping the line move smoothly. We did not use the outdoor pool. Doors to the rooms go directly outside.

We booked this stay because it was pet friendly. When we arrived at 10pm the front desk said “ we can not have ypu stay in the room ypu booked. The room you booked waa NOTpet friendly and you need to cancel or book at a SIGNIFICANT higher price in a room with a kitchenette? As these are pet ? Which doesnt make any sense. So when I finally agreed to pay upcharge for this they changed thier story and wanted to me to cancel and rebook? When i asked to speak with management the clerk said no we are canceling your stay “We dont have a room for you? Hotels.com could not help. This was a scam for sure ! Stay away !! The hotel lobby was filthy the bathroom had cobwebs, dirt in sink . The lobby smelled of stale food.

Genuinely the worst hotel I ever been to, think of it as a more expensive motel 6 except extremely dirty. The pictures made the rooms look a whole lot nicer than it really is. The staff wasn’t bad however for the price that they charge it is most definitely not worth it.

Is a very nice place to stay short time. The pool was unavailable at my stayed. They have a small place for breakfast and a small laundry room, but it's ok.

There are numerous ants in the room the room will not very clean and the room he stopped breaking the worst time so we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated I want my money back

Someone else's hair was on my pillowcase when I arrived. The entire building smelled nasty. The pool was green and cloudy. It was closed, though they were advertising the pool on their sign. The floor (carpet) in our room was sticky. Our sink was cracked, and someone had tried to repair it with caulk. The water pressure was so low in the shower that my son said he couldn't feel it it was on. At breakfast, the fridge wasn't even plugged in, the thermometer showed that it was 65 degrees Fahrenheit. I plugged it in. The waffles did not taste like your typical hotel waffles, and the syrup was not "normal." It was a huge relief to leave.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel was basically clean and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This was a stop along a trip so it gave us exactly what we needed.

Breakfast area was way overcrowded, there were a table for two and two tables for four. One large family alone crowded the entire area and made it impossible to get food or enjoy—also there were ants. Also the rooms furniture and bedding was stained.

We couldn’t even stay, the room was filthy and smelled like urine.

The stay wasn’t as it was pictured, the pull out bed was flat and ready to go through the frame. There wasn’t enough towel for the family in the room nor sheets for the pull out bed. When we got there there was trash in the room. Seems as someone had lunch and when we came back after settling it was removed. This was just a quick stay on our way to Maine. We won’t stay here again.

The hotel was clean. My room was quite large with nice amenities. The staff was good. They served a basic continental breakfast. Only negative was highway noise.

The people in the room next to us were so loud, we could hear their TV playing the entire night and late into the morning. Then we approached management they were horrible. Ended up changing hotels.

The entire room was dirty. My husband had to get bleach and clean the room, including headboard, TV, dresser, table, night stands, bathroom sink, bathtub, toilet, etc. The water is not clear. The water comes out grey in color.

One of our rooms was not cleaned. The hallways and stairways were not cleaned. Carpeting was worn. Overall very dingy.

Staff were rude and dismissive. Very noisy at all hours. Felt very unsafe.

The location is near the thruway and noisy. There was food in plastic containers in the parking lot. There were strong odors inside - a skunky smell and disinfectant smell. The mattress was stained with wine perhaps. There were residents who had loud music blaring and were having noisy sex until my husband got dressed and went to the main building and complained at about 12:30 am. Shortly thereafter the noise stopped. The breakfast food was below expectation.

My husband and I stayed overnight to attend a venue at the Palace Theater. We got in late and were kept up by extremely loud neighbors. We asked the women at the front desk for places to eat and directions to the Palace Theater which were met with blank stares. She never even told us about room service or remind us about the continental breakfast for the next morning.

Check-In included a contentious concierge as I asked questions about policies, security deposit, etc. Lack of courteous vibe = instant turnoff. Check-out was better w/different front desk clerk, but when I requested to swap my decaf for other, she didn't know the difference nor could tell me what time housekeeping starts - perplexing but I distracted w/comped breakfast (waffle, yogurt, bagel, toast, sausage, etc) Overall clean room, comfy bed & reasonable value. In industrial area near hwy (audible if light sleeper) Both pm/am staff were either combative or inefficient. Hospitality training is in order. I rate a 6.5 😑

This place is absolutely disgusting. Smell horribly. There was blood on our toilet seat. Stains on the towels. And the front desk personal are rude and don’t care about your concerns . I will be filing a complaint with the board of health.

This is a terrible hotel. Do not stay here. The room reeked of cigarettes and body odor. There were stains all over everything and cigarette burn holes in the blanket, on the soap holder in the bathroom and the curtains were stained yellow. This hotel should be condemned.

Nice and quiet

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so noisy that it woke up. My wife and I went in during the night. The only milk available for my cereal for breakfast was turning sour. Somewhat mushy.

This was probably one of, if not, the worst hotel experience we've ever had. Upon entering our room, we noticed the door doesn't fully close, leaving a pretty sizeable gap between the interior and exterior of the room. The lock was also compromised, making the room feel unsafe. The worst part, however, was the number of cockroaches that infested the room. We saw four cockroaches within a ten minute timespan - on the bedside table, desk, and bathroom. After bringing up this issue with the front desk, they did not offer any immediate assistance or a refund for our room, which we ended up leaving due to the terrible conditions. Management and cleanliness seem very poor if this room is any indicator. Would recommend avoiding.

Over all it was a good experiences. Our bathroom was little smelly other than that every thing else was as expected.

If there was any other options I would have been out of there after check in. The room was “non smoking” but smelled like stagnant cigarette smoke. The lock on the door also looked like it had been tampered with, door kicked in, etc. Also saw two mice. I did not get into the bed and slept on the top sheet. Sleeping in the car would have been an option but it’s very close to a truck stop and very loud. Please plan better than me and don’t leave this as your only place to stay.

Outside of hotel is great until you enter room this room was not worth 120 dollars at all everything was outdated except flat screen tv bed sheets curtains carpet look as if from 80s mattress was stained no iron in room drawers were broken kept coming open my fiance wouldnt get under covers and slept with swrat pants and coat she would not touch breakfast coffee was cold at 615am mind you breakfast starts at 6am not worth the money should only be charging 50 or 60 for room not 120 dollars.

Parking was next to our place

The employee checking us in was very nice and there was nothing wrong with the hotel or its location. That said, this hotel is definitely an older, very average 2-star facility. If you're only staying one night and don't want to spend a lot of money, it fits the bill nicely. But if you want something nicer for a longer stay than you'll probably want to explore other options.

Chose the pay at the property option yet they charged my card before I got there. Door almost hit bed upon opening and cigarette burn in top cover of bed. Toilet leaked all over bathroom floor. Ice machine and pool were in a completely separate building. Having said these things, front desk staff was friendly and if you’re looking for a place just to rest, you could find worse.
