Great breakfast I had eggs and bacon, friendly staff members, kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. I will definitely stay at this location again, my room was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. I loved the comfortable chair with small table for tablet/coffee. It was perfect! N/A

Staff was pleasant and helpful. If you sign up to be a Comfort Inn member, they give you a free water bottle and a snack. There is plenty of parking. Location is great as it is only 10 minutes away from the Capitol. Although the fire alarm went off after a few minutes of getting there and the rugs can use some updating, I would definitely stay here again.

It was a comfortable and relatively clean room. Give staff a magic eraser and some touch up paint and it would be near perfect. I easily wiped the bathroom fan off myself. Breakfast was very good but the coffee was terrible. The staff was friendly. Parking was very good and close by.

Arrival and checking went flawless. Very little was lost in translation with front desk and staff. The young lady that was taking care of breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and had a variety of selections. Parking went flawless and I felt very safe on the property. Just 1 little thing. The side door was always kept open didn't need key to access side door. Other than that thr stay was definitely worth the price.

The shower head broke while showering and almost hurt me. Kept calling the reception but they didn’t bother to answer. Never staying there again

Firstly, the warmth, friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Then there are the newly renovated spacious rooms, with a really comfortable bed, armchair, desk with chair, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. There's also 24 hours coffee and cookies in the lobby. Breakfast was included and provided an excellent selection. Oh, and my stay was considerably cheaper than other hotels in the area. But there was nothing cheap about what I got for my money. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast varied with something for everyone. The door keys were unusually, easily demagnetized by proximity to a cellphone, which resulted in lots of trips to the front desk. But every one was patient and friendly about it. The location was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Albany, as well as to some nice walking trails and sights. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was great. Other areas were under construction so hard to say. Landscaping/entrance could be nicer. Staff was lovely and location is super convenient for downtown.

The only good thing was the location super close to the Delmar nursing home Where do I begin, with the smell of marijuana in the hall on the second floor. To the ants all in my bed to the bed bugs and the mice. I tried changing room conveniently they never had one available for me to move to. And when my handicapped mom joined me we needed to call Ems to get her all the way from the elevator to her room she has a broken ankle and just got out of rehab and no one could walk that hall who made this hotel the shining cause that is what the hallway reminded me of I was waiting for twin girls to show up saying come play with us. Then we had to call Ems 12 hours later because they had a hard time getting off the toilet. Both EMS said they had a hard time with that hallway and the walk to the room. And when they saw the ants and bedbugs they even tried to get us a different room but none were available. I have already gone to cooperate. Next stop is the news media

The hotel is under construction and definitely dated so construction is needed. The AC in our room smelled but we had to have it on as it was stuffy. Beds were comfy. Lots of pillows. New bathroom which was small but nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. The hair dryer in our room was broken. We went to the front desk to ask for another and the girl was clueless and of no help. I had just showered and I have long hair so I was late to my daughter’s graduation because I had to wait for my hair to dry.

We were locked out of our room and the building several times and the front desk said “it happens all the time” and did not care. The breakfast was good. Our shower was gross. There were toilet paper rolls from the last people in the bathroom. The beds were comfy. The rooms were overall nice.

All of the signage was off the walls so guests got lost and ended up not knowing where to go to get to the elevator. Breakfast was a madhouse with the construction workers taking over the breakfast area at 6am. When I complained, I was told that it would be reported to management.

My room was clean and the property was clean. There was a little bit of painting going on but it didn't take away from the cleanliness. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. The staff was very friendly and check in was quick. My only concern was that the window covering in the room was just a simple see through shade, the curtains did not close. I was in an area of the hotel that had a VERY bright light just outside in the parking lot and it made the room so bright. I could only sleep facing away from the light. The pool and hot tub area were fine, and the hot tub was warm, but the jets were out of order, so it wasn't as relaxing.

There was no breakfast, no bar, no food and beverage at all. When I checked in there a sign posted that said restaurant and bar is permanently closed. I checked out about 20 minutes after I checked in, when I saw my room was not clean and saw a bed bug on my pillow. I am waiting for my card to be refunded as I booked two room for one night. There was a sign that said the hotel was under renovation, but there was no mention of this on there website.

I didn’t get to use the pool, they said the hot tub was closed. I didn’t see the laundry room or the pool or gym. When I came into the lobby there were people staring at me. The front desk operator was friendly.

Nice staff. They are updating rooms and the hallway, doing a nice job of it. Comfortable and clean rooms. A bit more attention to detail cleaning up around the outside of building would smarten the place up.

This day was terrible. My room is dirty. The wax are broken. The bathroom was disgusting. Breakfast was terrible. They said they were going through a renovation, but the pictures that I had before the renovation were way better.

This property is undergoing renovations, so that mess was understandable. However, we had concerns about our room. It was clean enough, but some things gave us an ick. For example, there were some colorful fingerprint stains on the refillable lotion and shampoo bottles. It felt like they were overlooked when cleaning. Also, the comforter had red stains on it. It appeared to have been washed, but it just looked icky tucked between a couple sheets instead of a duvet cover. The chain lock on our door was broken and useless, leaving me a bit unsettled. My husband brought it to the front desk, and they just said they'd tell maintenance. Being so close to the highway, full curtains may have helped muffle the sound, but there were only rolldown blinds. The "curtains" were merely decorative on the sides. It felt like they were cutting a lot of corners. Finally, the hot tub jets didn't work. A sign near the button said they were working on it, but the paper appeared ancient. Maybe they'll get to it after the other renovations. I hope so, but I don't think I'll stay here again.

The hotel was undergoing construction. The shower was excellent, great water pressure and heat. My husband and I both thought it was a great shower, one of the better ones we have experienced traveling. The breakfast was also excellent.

Pool and hot tub was dangerously chlorinated and bright green. Hurt to breathe and almost had to go to er with the kids. Huge parties all night, knife fight in hallway outside our room stabbing in the door. Our room had a broken window without curtain or any shade upon arrival. Unsafe! Rooms inside was clean and modern, staff were very kind!

Disappointed in the room which was dirty and outdated and old smelling hotel. Amenities were horrible. Pool swelled over chlorinated and slimy. Hot tub water was green in color. Quite on quote Business center smelled like someone’s old attic. Construction was going on all throughout day and night with drills and etc. Staff at check in acted as if my card did not go through only to have me reswipe and double charged me for the 5 day reservation. When brought to their attention I was told it will release one charge in 5-1 business days.. Would not recommend and would definitely not ever stay here again!!!

The room was fine we really didn't have any issues the only down fall was the hot tub was really nasty looking green water left you feeling slimy had a note the Jets weren't working should have just closed it down till fixed

Location was out of the way (which made it quiet). Dark hallways, pool was closed for maintenance, which was a bummer for our kids. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room heat was excellent (warmed up fast). Breakfast was simple,but tasty.

My sink has been broken for almost 2weeks. The washing machines have been broken for almost 3 weeks. I’m a travel nurse and was quoted a weekly rate that was not honored. Cleaning are nice but don’t clean anything they just make the beds and give clean towels.

Room was clean as was the lobby and breakfast area. Rooms are well insulated for sound. The people next to us were being very loud from the time I checked in (9:15) through when I fell asleep (11:45) you were able to hear them as soon as you entered the hallway (20 rooms away) as I got to my room it became evident they were in the very next room and the dread set in. Once I entered the room the sound was surprisingly very muffled. Probably a fluke occurrence but our room did not have working heat. I sleep with the thermostat at 65 and the room was 63 so it was tolerable, but to most people it would have been too cold. Despite these two factors i still had a relatively pleasant stay all things considered and would stay again. Solid value for the price

Room was not secure as it was missing the latch plate on the door jamb, pool area ceiling was visibly damaged and leaking into the hot tub which was not functioning properly also. I reserved this stay based on the 7.8 rating to find a 3 at max upon arrival. Also fairly certain that the heating unit in our room was dirty and it smelled of mildew when in use

The hot tub jets were not working which was disappointing, but what is super concerning is I’m currently being treated for bed bugs after spending one night at this hotel. I’m beyond disgusted and will not recommend this hotel. Please do better for future guests.

I have stayed at this particular hotel 4 times now, every time, the hotel lobby and the room were neat, clean and orderly. The desk staff has always been polite. Even when ive arrived later at night. During this stay i did have some noisey neighbors across the hall and i could hear them pretty well but usually its quiet and comfortable.

This place was extremely comfortable. The staff were courteous and professional. Despite being near the thruway, it was absolutely peaceful and quiet with no traffic noise. Big clean comfy rooms. 10/10 highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again

Room was better than expected

Woman at front desk was asleep when I tried to check out at 9am. Lobby smelled terrible. Likely because people had their shoes and socks off by the fire pit in the lobby.

Staff was very friendly. The room was somewhat cleaned when I arrived; hadn't been vacuumed, cobwebs hanging from ceiling over the bed, bathtub needed to be scrubbed. Was great that they had guest laundry.

Breakfast was good, check in was fine. However the trash from matresses and furniture in the back portrays an unkempt hotel.

Once we opened our room upstairs, we smelled smoke so we complained, and they switched us to a downstairs room which was much better with no smell. Here are my complaints: - fridge had no light and turned by itself. Made noise that bothered us especially at night - my wife enjoyed the pool but Jacuzzi was broken - breakfast was not as we expected compared to the price we paid and the rating it showed on the website. CHEAP and ready made for warm food. - bathroom door hinges made terry noise when close or open - pillow covers had stains

The staff was very friendly and kind. The facility itself is aging and not up to the cost of a stay. Everything from the bathrooms to the window coverings are dingy. Again, lovely people, but not a place I'd choose to stay again.

Nobody ever came to replace the towels or linens in my room. There also were some wires exposed in the hallways. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Cons: doors and walls were thin- you can hear everything in the hallways and door had 1.5-2” gap underneath. Pillows were square (strange), room had hair in sink, bottle caps under desk, AC/heater in our room was SO noisy I’m not sure I slept more than 2 hours. Definitely smelled old, like overly perfumed of some sort. Had our child with us and a second floor room no screen so window stayed shut and locked. Worth noting- The lobby had a sign saying, please excuse them during renovation (not sure didn’t see any work?) & The bar /restaurant had a sign on the door that said permanently closed.

The property is undergoing renovation so a fair review is impossible. The low price is incredible for a comfortable night.

If there was one dent, when walking the hallway, some of the lightbulbs were hanging loose rather than a fixed to their area in the ceiling or wall.

The hotel was under Reno’s but our room was already complete and it was clean and comfortable.

Keep in mind, the hotel claims that they are in the process of renovating. The lobby was nice enough,but the rooms are shabby and you won't feel comfortable. The staff appear disinterested and were unhelpful. The only really great staff member was the lady running the breakfast. Speaking of which, the air conditioning was not operational in the breakfast room. It was super hot.

Well the room had ants . The housekeeping was rude went asking for new bedding to make the bed due to my special needs child having so issues. I had try to take every precaution for it not to happen. I had to go to the front desk and when I did they said they would send someone to give me the bedding. They also looked shocked that I was willing to change the bed. I didnt want they to have to clean up my child accident. And if you want to walk in the morning forget trying to sleep on those hard beds.

First off we asked for a smoke free room, but the room we got smelled like someone was smoking in it. The outlets didn’t work, the room phone didn’t work so I had to call the hotel phone from my phone. I don’t think I’ll be staying there again. For what I paid it was not worth it.

The pool was closed

Stayed here for 4 days on a business conference and place was great. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. They had good breakfast and the staff were very kind.

Shower ceiling had molds. Overall facility is outdated. Counter person pretend like he listens but doesn't act when I told him swiming pool is out of towels.

Overall a very affordable option. Our room had a strange smell in it however. And the toilets and plumbing make very loud noises consistently.

The furniture in my room was quite worn and run down and there were some weird stains on both the bed frame as well as the lounge chair in the room. Also, the breakfast was questionable.

Have stayed there many times, everything is alway good, it was just a little noisy this time from other guests with children… not that much of a problem cause children will be children!

Room I was assigned (#206) had a couple holes on bathroom wall- due to doorknob hitting it and both room and bathroom had several areas where wallpaper was loose & about to peel. Over all, experience was Okay, but I’d suggest Comfort Inn spend some time repairing said finishes.

Rented the hotel for a road trip for my daughters birthday. We attended a concert and needed a place to stay. I only rent hotels with indoor pools and hot tubs. The hot tub was broke which was a disappointment but the pool was ok for some water exercise and stress relief to prepare for a 6 hour drive home

My mother got the flu. I tried to cancel my reservations. no one would answer the phone. I will never go to a Uncomfort Inn again.

Room kept filling up with cigarette smoke, window was broken and could be accessed from the outside (first floor), and very loud door banging and stomping around.

This an ok hotel. Make sure you ask for room away from freeway (even numbers). Breakfast bad. Coffee horrendous. They used to have good coffee. Now horrible Nescafe machines. I only stay here to visit family. Every time i went to desk, no one there. Waited and waited. Very rude people on desk.

I had the worst experience in this place, there was a whole mouse family living in the fridge of the room that I was assigned, they change me to another room but the whole place looks dirty.

Stayed here after a concert. After booking last minute, it was a good place to spend the night. Easy property to access. The biggest negative was the coffee was likely the worst in-room coffee I have ever had.

I had asked for an extended time for check out the night before I left. I asked the front desk clerk to note it in my record he agreed to a 1 pm checkout for me the next morning I was bothers at my door 4 times by housekeeping to leave. I already had it okayed they were so annoying 4 times they knocked. Even had a supervisor come to my door. I had approval. They were so annoying. I didn’t get the sleep I needed because of 4 interruptions. Rude staff!!!!
