Ramada by Wyndham Glendale Heights/Lombard

The tv didn’t work water pressure didn’t work, it was like when you turn off a water hose and that little last bit of water gets pushed out, that’s what the water pressure was like. The air conditioning kept turning on and off but it was mainly off and didn’t even get cold. The entire place was so dirty and it had this stink to it too. I had very bad experience with the people staying at that hotel as well, mainly drunk from an event that was going on but the children they came with kept running up and down the hallways the walls are so thin I could hear every footsteps from anyone outside the door. I also had guests who were attempting to grab my attention. I also noticed the room I was staying in looked like the door was kicked in and the lock was replaced but not replaced well because it was so loose it felt like someone else could just as easily kick in that door. I couldn’t even stay at that hotel for another night I booked a stay at the Hampton Inn down the street on north . Much cleaner much better tv worked air conditioning was amazing better water pressure and I just felt so much safer

The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. The person at the counter was nice. The check in process was easy. The lobby was clean. Wow.. This property needs a major overhaul. It's super run down and in need of a total renovation. I'm not sure what the smell is that they spray in hotels that smells like sweet smelling body odor. It's horrible. I don't know why they think it smells good. I slept in my clothing because it seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned in a while. The room wasn't clean.

I liked the reasonable price. Pool was very small and when we went to use it at 10 pm it was filled with a lot of small kids. Breakfast was okay, could have had more variety like hard boiled eggs and granola for some ideas. Yogurt machine didn't work and the pancake maker wasn't working well either. Rooms were clean but whole building smelled like pot. Hotel is run down.

This property looks nothing like in the photos. It is very dated, and worn. It needs alot of updating and cleaning. There is torn carpet in the room, no sink plug, the drain smelled horrible, and there were guests smoking across the hall all the time, despite being non-smoking. The hotel was noisy, and we could constantly hear the people above us stomping around. The property needs a deep cleaning. The one positive was the helpful front desk staff. I would not stay here again.

For the price it was great. The breakfast included a variety of options. The room was clean, and prepared. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the shower. The water pressure was not great and so it was difficult to rinse the shampoo completely. Other than that, it was as expected.

I slipped on the stairs getting into the pool because the water was so slimy and hurt my leg and foot. I've never been in such a gross pool before. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Lukewarm sausage links, okay scrambled eggs, and overcooked potatoes were the hot items. Standard fare of DIY breads, coffee, and juice. At least the shower was hot.

In a good location of what we had plans for our trip kids running down the hallways all night, knocking on doors all night long…rooms dirty and some things broken

Easy to get to Hotel very nasty, floor in the room was destroyed from water damage tile in bathroom cracked and creaked, walkways smelt like urine and cigarette smoke all mixed with body Oder and animal. Hotel on the outside had holes in the wall some patched some not but non of them painted. The ac in my room didn’t work it was 73 degrees plus the whole night.

The property is really outdated. The pictures online need to be updated so other guests see the real property. My room I checked into was really outdated. The bathroom floor and shower were extremely old and uneven, the shower had mold, the carpets were old and needed care. I lifted the side of my mattress and food crumbs were there. The hallways smelled like weed all week! Stay here if you are in a jam and need a quick place to stay.

Facility was okay to be honest. Room had loose flooring. Bed was comfortable but during the night I was bitten by something. Either a spider or something else. Floors in room were very dirty, make sure you have socks to wear. Ice machine on 3rd floor had no ice and was not replenished during the duration of our stay.

This is absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They make you put down $100 or deposit for credit or debit and I $200 deposit for cash. Never in my life have I seen such a worse hotel. I absolutely don't recommend it to anybody unless you have an extra $200 on you. Worst hotel ever. I advise nobody go there

It was lots of noise in there hallway, people screaming very loud and it was ongoing for hours until past midnight. I don’t think this has anything to do with the staff of the hotel because I don’t think they heard the nice I should’ve reported, but I was too tired., well I think they should have camera in their hallway so they can see what’s going on

The room had a top mattress that had a dip. The bathroom needs an uodate. It does not meet the minimum requirements by Ramada standards for the finish workmanship for the room. Impressed by the kindness of staff. Well appointed rooms. Very pleasant experience. Abdul greeted us like we were his company not guests. Great personality. We dropped a Starbucks bottle as we were leaving and the kind housekeeper took care of the cleanup for us. She insisted, rather than lend us the mop. Really appreciated your staff!

Bathroom caulk needs replaced, bathroom counter looks like it’s about to fall off the wall. Toilets needed replaced as it was falling apart. I got the room with the jetted tub which did not work. Also charged a deposit for the room just because it was booked through hotels.com. Stay away!

Room was very run down. Walls were scratched up, paint was peeling, fixtures in the bathroom were rusty, bathroom door was cracked, lightbulbs were missing, couch looked dirty. It felt very run down. Breakfast food was very bland and even dishes with warmers were cold. Bed was also extra firm.

The room was poorly furnished/equipped: no hand soap, hangers or tissues. No drawers or dresser. No functioning bathroom fan. Cleanliness of the facility was sub par. Inadequate exercise room: broken/non-functioning equipment. Breakfast was marginal: limited food offerings, inoperative juice & yogurt dispensers. Room keys randomly stopped working. Poor weekend security - unruly guests.

The people at the front desk were kind and helpful but the hallways and room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. There was a room key that was not ours found on the bed as well. The second room was in the same condition :/

My wife and I were there for my nephew wedding. Our room smelled terrible. The tub was dirty, bugs in the room, and cracks in every wall. My wife couldn’t sleep and we didn’t have the fund to go somewhere else. The hotel staff were pretty ok but the rooms are horrible. We had to wash all our clothes because we didn’t want too take the bugs with us. The breakfast was terrible and no plastic gloves were used so everyone was touching the food. I will NEVER stay at your hotel again .

We enjoy our stay. There is just a misunderstanding regarding the information provided by the counter staff regarding the rate. When I called Experdia, I noticed a large difference between what I paid and the hotel rate. Expedia called the counter and confirmed that I was informed incorrectly.

This location was far below what I would think a Wyndham facility would be - and it’s even rated mid level! Not even up to standards for a low level location! Person stocking breakfast not paying attention to when food ran out - visiting with friends/family instead and bringing out other food to share with them in the dining area. Plates ran out a few times in the short time I was eating. Juice ran out, pancake batter ran out, yogurt ran out, etc. Elevator had trash in it - same trash remained for a couple days. Back entrance had overflowing trash can with trash on the ground around it.

Unfriendly staff. Charged $50 incidental like most hotels do. Used nothing. They claim to have credited the $50, yet it still hasn't been. Should have never been charged, only held, like I was told. Many issues with this hotel beyond poor customer service.

The floor standing light had no bulb and i inormed the staff she stated that there is no one available to take care of the problem. There was a hand soap container and we found it was empty when my wife tried to wash her hand. The bath room was filth, the vent in it was clogged with dust. I regret staying there.

Hotel had a weird smell to it and everything needs to be upgraded.

Breakfast the next morning was basic. Scrambled eggs were eatable but the sausage tasted like it was "old" or freezer burned. Room wasn't sound proofed at all. Heard the TV and residents laughter in room next to us. The TV really wasn't at an over loud volume either. The location was very convenient for where we needed to be - that was the only redeeming feature.

The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were just okay. Television only gets local tuner channels and they're all blurry. Complimentary breakfast was alright, with free little donuts.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Although the power jets in bathtub jacuzzi didn't work at all, the stay was comfortable for me and my 3 Autistic kids.

I stayed there for five nights and they never came and did my room. I had to go in the hallway and get my own towels. The mattress is sagged in the middle. It was not really that comfortable.

The hotel was very run down cigarettes butts everywhere on the ground as you walked up to the front door. Lobby was clean but had a diffuser with very strong scent covering up cigarette smell. Our room also had been sprayed with some sort of spray to cover up cigarette smell. We had a cracked sink a fan in the bathroom that sounded like it was dying and a tile on the floor that would fall every time someone walked by. The beds were new and there was still bubble wrap on the chair legs so we knew that was new as well. At 2 am we were woken up by someone slamming there door and screaming at each other in there room. We also witnessed several people smoking pot outside of the hotel. We didn’t know the area we were staying in we knew it was close to our sons school which is why we stayed there. Breakfast was cold and not very edible. Looks like a lot of people are living there instead of vacationing there. It was a horrible experience and we will definitely not go back and would not recommend this place at all!!! We will do an air b and b next time we visit my son won’t even bother looking at hotels

This was one of the dirtiest and most uncomfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Every single room we saw had a funny smell like wet carpet or like wet dog when I try to call the front desk they would rarely answer the phone and when we asked for extra towels, they didn’t deliver them after a whole hour so then I had to go downstairs to the front desk and get them myself. The AC was leaking into the carpet and created a mildew smell in the room. The ceiling in the shower had black spots on it and the light in the bathroom had a timer. The bathroom also smelled like mildew. I was very disappointed and disgusted by the room and the hotel. The hotel was very dated. The carpets were dirty in the lobby and the elevator looked to be about 50 years old. I would not recommend this hotel for any out of towners

My stay was wonderful. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. The complementary continental breakfast was amazing. There was so much to choose from. I was very happy with all aspects of my stay. I would heartily reccomend this hotel to anyone. I would not hesitate to book with tis hotel again.

The continental breakfast was better than average. The room was also decently sized, the bed relatively comfortable. The location is not terribly convenient. Overall the hotel meets expectations. What made the experience less satisfactory were the other guests staying there.

The hotel is old. For soap we got a little bottle you had to squeeze to get the soap. The hotel was very noisy, you could hear people running around till late . The people that we dealt with were friendly. Would not ever go back there.

It was a room, pretty good price for what I needed. The bed horrible couldn’t sleep well. Ended up leaving very early in the morning to go home if I wasn’t going to sleep well. So I didn’t get to try the free hot breakfast either. Staff that I met were very friendly.

Rooms has paint chipping all over the place. The Bath Fitter isn't correctly installed in the bathroom and it gets moldy quick. There's black stuff all over my bathroom and I to keep the windows open the whole time. It looks like nobody actually washed it cuz we had to buy mildew him over and sprayed it and let it sit for an hour and then it started to go away... I'm going to need to deposit for my hospital visit because I have an immune deficiency. They told us 10:00 to 4:00 for roach sprays, the first day he didn't come the second day he showed up at 8:00 a.m. in the morning.

This place is the best lodgings I’ve found by far!

I had doubts about this place at first but once I got there they were really great people who were very friendly and kind and friendly people who I was able too get served me right away what kindness and answer my question without no problem. I would recommend them to my friends and visiting relatives for a good night stay at a reasonable price.

It's a nice place very nice place the only thing I had problem with was my bed I woke up with a very bad a but I used to live up in the Chicago area and I just needed a place to stay for the night to go to the O'Hare airport to pick somebody up but otherwise I had a great stay thank you

The room was in bad condition. There were bugs flying around everywhere. Rips in the carpet. Paint chips on all walls. It was clean however.

My room was clean and smelled good. Comfortable stay. The right side of the mattress was a little worn down. The carpet is detaching from the floor. Didn't know a dog was on the same floor until it barked after 11pm for about 1 minute. Other than that, very peaceful and relaxing experience.

Absolutely amazing

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a nice size room with sink area having several personal care items. Shower had good pressure and towels were large and absorbent. Unusual to not have a box of facial tissue.

The staff was great. I wouldn’t use the swimming pool, the free breakfast was disastrous, nothing was shoveled from snow, including the parking lot, no lightbulb in room , no business center to make copies especially. A lot of it is basic simple care. Probably can be easily solved with a couple extra staff members to clean it up.

Would definitely recommend and stay here in the future.

There was a lot of noise early in the morning of yelling and screaming

We were told check in was 4:00, it is actually 3:00. When we arrived we were also informed there would be no hot breakfast. (Mind you I spoke to the hotel the day prior) Also the breakfast & pool were why I chose it as I was traveling with 5 children Bed was comfortable so if you just need a place to sleep for a night it'll do.

However the rooms themselves were clean, the beds were comfortable. If you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night this will work.
