Good, theres an elevator if you have luggages, clean room, clean bed, updated furniture better than in the picture, wifi avail, clean bathroom, clean floor, clean tables, ample parking lot, walking distance to many restaurants. They said that at 5am there will be a staff by the front desk to assist coz we checked out early, but to no avail that time so we assumed to drop the keys by the box nearby.

Our room was small and fairly clean not sparkling clean but clean when we arrived, housekeeping had to be upon request. Coffee maker wasn’t working. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

However, my major concern was that I had a serious accident as a result of the desk chair in the room. When I sat down to put my socks on and bent over the chair, slid backwards on the floor and dumped me violently onto the floor. After being helped up by my husband, I generally sat down again, and this time fell directly onto the floor because the front leg of the chair had broken when the first accident happened, and we were unaware. So when I sat down the second time, there was no leg in front to support me. I landed very hard on an artificial hip, and sustained several injuries. As we were checking out, I reported the accident to the front desk. I would caution anyone using room 114 to be very careful if they are still using these “office“ chairs with plastic rollers.

Enjoyed stay, location was convenient

The hotel charges $30 for early check in even with a room available. The smoke detectors in my room went off and couldn’t be turned off without disconnection. Hotel had nobody to replace. The first floor room had a space under the door; leaf blowers blew leaves and dirt under the door into my room one morning. Mice or other things could fit through the space.

It was great to have options of a few drinks at the lobby as I was tired and wasn’t feeling the nearby liquor store. Good location for walking to a nearby event. No real frills in terms of no restaurant onsite or things like that, but it was close enough to options. The parking was easy enough.

Room is pretty much basic but met all of our needs. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. We will stay here again definitely.

Location was close to our venue. We were in and out easily and there were plenty of food options located by our hotel that made it very easy to walk to if needed. The bed was not comfortable, and we had some loud tenants above us that stayed up late and woke up early that seemed to have heavy footed and constantly dropped items on the floor making loud noises.

Check in was easy, plenty of parking, though i had to pay 10.00 a day for parking. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Great location. Basic room that was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that it was very loud and you could easily hear through the walls. Guy next door was playing loud music and signing up until 2am. I did complain and shortly thereafter the noise ceased, so I believe staff quickly assisted with this.

Room was clean and ready except needed toilet paper and hand towels (not enough to last our 3 day stay), which we had to ask for twice. Otherwise, good stay, no other complaints.

Loved our stay. Front desk staff reassured us arriving in the middle of the night was fine. We were greeted promptly and kindly guided to the perfect room for our needs. Glendale Vagabond is a small quaint hotel with the perfect amount of parking. Our room was clean with comfortable beds, plenty of fresh linens, pillows and no perfumey air fresheners. The mini fridge, microwave and safe were nice to have. Although we didn’t get to use the swimming pool due to the cooler weather, it looked crystal clear and inviting. We felt safe and enjoyed the Americana Mall with its restaurants and shops right across the street. It was such a nice and pleasant area. We will be back.

Rooms are really clean just to much noise outside at night and the rooms are really small for the price. I usually stay at the Marriott but late plans took me there and I would definitely NOT be back.

Amazing location. It was close to food and nightlife within walking distance. The bed was so soft. Like sleeping on a cloud. Realized there is a $10 fee to park a vehicle in addition to the room. All and all a great stay.

The place location is very convenient , walking distance to restaurants, mall, grocery & church . The room is clean , our bed has new sheets every day and new clean towels too .They have cameras outside and at the parking lot so you feel safer. The only negative I could say is the room occupants above us walks so heavy that I could hear every steps if you are a light sleeper it will be a bothersome.

From what I remember, service animals are free but pets (I think it might only be regarding dogs) have a fee. Ac works great. Bathroom was clean and the room as well. I think the only thing we wished they would’ve had was breakfast only because we had leave for our trip and didn’t have time to go to a local cafe. Parking was also $10.

Our purpose was limited to having a place to sleep after a birthday party, but I kept thinking that this would be a perfect place for tourists from other countries to stay when on a car-driven vacation that includes a lot of shopping. You are within a few minutes walk from two major malls with a staggering array of stores. You are centrally located and have quick access to major freeways. Glendale is a pleasant place to stay, busy but friendly, and more hip or exotic destinations like Silverlake or Hollywood are just a short drive away. The Vagabond is nothing fancy, but you didn't fly all this way just to hang out in a motel room. Nick in Palm Springs

Really nice place, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Well located many stores and restaurants around. When we you entered to the room at first there was this smell... not really nice, but with the ac was gone.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of dining within walking distance. 10 minute walk from the venue that I needed to be at.

It was a simple place to stay and had everything we needed. The TV controls were locked and wasn't able to use a HDMI cord to hook up our computer. Also there a $10 parking fee per day.

Convenient location with tons of restaurants & shopping nearby. Quick drive to Universal studios & Crypto Arena. Would stay here again when visiting LA / Hollywood area. Donut shop next door was nice for a quick coffee & donut pickup.

The hotel is centrally located and a 5 minute or less walk to the mall. There’s tons of places to eat, shop and I love movies so AMC is right across the street. The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. Keep in mind it is a non-smoking property but you have a smoking area upfront. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about a place in the area.

Booked for a different date completely for April and some how got Jan 28. So pissed I got charged for nothing, nobody at your hotel or Hotels.com could help me!! Well located, clean, quiet and friendly and helpful staff

Across street from Galerías shopping mall, can’t be at better location, our second time at this hotel. The reception close during lunch and dinner time and something you need to wait till open again for check inn or questions you may have, but not a big problem.

This was my first time staying there. My friend and I flew in early and the gentleman at the front was very nice about helping us check in early. There was a lot of options for dining and shopping. All of which were walkable. I will be staying there again the next time I’m in Glendale.

How in the world can you rent a room to someone for 3 days and not give them a comfortable place to sit? Absurd.

There’s no air. When I first walked in, the room air smelled strongly wet, mildewy, sweaty. Air surrounding me, like a blanket of some couples and their heavy evaporated sweat. Like many motels, the windows don’t open. The air conditioner doesn’t work well, and all the air might be the stagnant shower water and sweat of couples. Recirculated, or not circulated at all, never leaving the room. Same air. The rooms really are okay, as far as decor and furnishings and floors go. (The floors are laminate wood so you don’t get creepy motel carpet, but on the other hand I don’t think laminate flooring can be wet mopped, so floor cleanliness is questionable. It’s preferable to me, but needs mentioning. Also, the motel is shoved into a narrow Glendaie lot, on a busy street and it’s a crowded space. But that’s good too, in that the Glendale shopping is all across the street and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The management seems professional, and plenty of staff have been longterm. It’s not a bad choice, if only they could keep the doors open for awhile to get some fresh air in, and some old wet very-yucky used air out of the rooms.

Vagabond inn smelled like dog urine inside the room. Wouldn’t let my kids sit on the chairs or walk barefoot on floor.

Second time staying at the Vegabond Inn Glendale and certainly not my last! Both times have been great! Check in was easy with no issues with parking on site. Very close to the mall and target in case you want to go shopping. The freeway is not too far either so it’s easy to get around town. The rooms are very quiet and clean. Looking forward to our next visit back! Thank you all again.

Our stay was very comfortable. We are renovating our bathroom and needed a place local to stay. Our family from out of the country stayed here while visiting so we have it a try ourselves. The room was comfortable and our stay was as well. Very convenient location right across from the mall.

This actually wasn’t a bad stay. Front desk was very nice, fast, and attentive. You have to request ice by walking to the front desk with an ice bucket. The location is prime and it’s only a short 5min walk to the Galleria or the Americana. The beds really suprised me as they are really soft and feel like a cloud. Ample pillows and towels. Big flat screen smart tv with many choices. Room was pretty clean overall. Would definitely stay at again as the price was reasonable and didn’t have any problems or hiccups. The only gripe was the ice machine was out of ice when I went to ask, and the walls and ceilings are thin. No street noise whatsoever, just neighborly noise.

The front desk is understaffed. There's usually just one person, and he left for a 45-minute lunch break each afternoon around check-in time. Also, there is no ice machine available to guests - the only way to get ice is to bring the room's ice bucket to the front desk and request ice, which is difficult if the attendant may be out to lunch or busy checking in new guests. Walls and floors are thin, and the plumbing is loud. If one of your neighbors is walking around or taking a shower, you'll hear it.

We stayed at Vagabond Inn the first time recently and it was great. Clean, easy, on-site parking. The on-site manager was super helpful too - with our room keys and even moving his car late night as the on-site parking was full. Small but clean pool too.

Now the room is small and decent. The bed was terrible. Worst bed ever. I could not sleep you would sink in the mattress. It was so soft and not in a stirty frame. I was sleeping in a water bed that what it felt like.

So The good news: clean, good mattress, quiet the second night, galleria and americana right across the street. The not so great news: Quite dated. Stairs to second and third floor. Rooms booked at same time not near each other. Area a little sketchy. Paid parking. Ultimately, it was what I expected and was OK. May book here again in the future.

Comfortable beds, good location. Some loud people in the area and screaming people in nearby rooms.

I thought the reviews for this hotel were probably bot created. All too good to be true. But I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean. I appreciate the hard floors. The bed, pillows and sheets were comfortable.

The restaurant options within walking distance were excellent, even for “fast food”. A great brick oven pizza was a 7 minute walk to pickup. Much fancier options were also numerous.

It was just an overnighter, but the room was nice and had microwave a little mini refrigerator. It was pretty well set up.

Clean and ideal location

In our last visit we have 211 room and don't know why we could sleep well any of our 5 nights because the noisy from upstairs' or on the side people dumping things or walking, I don't know, just throwing things around it was so terrible. other than that, we are Ok.

Room was clean. Very worn out. Especially the bathroom. The area seemed pretty safe. Plenty of parking. The room had obviously been smoked in or the smoke was coming through the air conditioner.

Power went out

Super comfortable beds. Very nice clerk was accommodating to provide adjoining rooms despite late check in. Close to restaurants and tony neighborhood shopping.

However, the walls are incredibly thin. I stayed during the week, assuming it would be quieter, but to my surprise, the hotel was quite busy. I stayed on the second floor and unfortunately had loud neighbors on all sides. The guests above me had kids running around, stomping, and crying—it felt more like a playground than a hotel. On the other side, the guests threw a loud party well into the night. I’ve never understood why people choose to party hard in hotel rooms—go out, have fun, pregame if you want, but don’t make it miserable for everyone else trying to rest.

Check in was quick and smooth, the gentleman at the front desk who helped us throughout our stay was so nice and helpful! Parking was $10 a night which isn’t bad compared to other places. I like how everything was nearby so we were easily able to walk to the shopping centers and to grab a bite to eat. Rooms were actually great considering the price. Walls are pretty thin as we were able to hear a lot of the noises from outside and the rooms above/nearby but it wasn’t too much of a bother for us, my 1 year old still slept safe and sound so that’s all that matters! (:

The Matress was very saggy, angled to one side when you lay on it.

There is a modest pool we’ve not used yet, but sitting by it now! LA was never on my bucket list, but honestly our stays at Vagabond Inn (with Foxy’s Restaurant two doors down—best breakfast we’ve had in so long and not just because I didn’t have to cook it!), make any opportunity to come back a joy to consider! (Once we know our dates, it’s the first thing we book!) Especially in what had previously felt like such a daunting place: LA! Vagabond Inn makes it feel like a town you can put your arms around with its warm, welcoming, and genuine hospitality! I’m from the south, and my standards are high. And Vagabond Inn exceeds them!

Always a great stay. But the lady at the front desk at night is not very friendly or welcoming. But it’s always a comfortable stay when I stay here I love this place and location.

First the bad: You can hear footsteps and voices coming from adjacent rooms. Noise from the street and parking lot can be heard pretty clearly in the room. That being said the streets on either side of the place seem to quiet down later at night. I wanted to take a shower at about 7-ish, definitely a high traffic time for showering, and the water had to be in the 40-50 degree range. I simultaneously discovered that the tub had a partial clog and was draining slow enough that my splash shower of cold water was in pooling foot soup. The mattress wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what we’re used to. The good: Generally the room and grounds are clean. The area is safe, and located next to upscale malls. Plenty of food options around. Front desk staff is nice. Parking never seemed to be an issue. So in review, if you’re a deep sleeper, do well hearing your neighbors, and adapt easily to different bed types, this is a clean place to lay your head at night at a good price.

Overall satisfied with the stay

Clean, simple, easy access to our room (right in front of our parking), great location, nice table and chair for eating and playing for the kids. No frills but just great for what we needed.

Glendale is great. Short walk from the hotel to just about every store you can possibly think of (2 malls), shake shack and eggslut one block away. Honestly the only reason I had to give an imperfect score is because the staff did not respond to my noise complaint about the guest in the room beside me literally having a screaming fit of profanities for like 2 hours. Im not a baby Im not a Karen, the guest in the room beside me was literally screaming profanities in the room, in the parking lot.. I thought I was gonna have to call the cops! I called front desk and they're like Oh gee! Ya Ill check it out! and did absolutely nothing. Its not like it ruined my and not the hotels fault that people are crazy, but it is their responsibility to deal with it and they did not.

Everything was good about this hotel, the elevator was a little weird to ride on, but other than that everything was good.

There was a strong cigarette smoke odor from the bathroom, which unfortunately caused the towels to smell.

Great location. We booked a king size bed room but ended up with 2 doubles. Bathroom area was clean, but the room's floor was very dusty. The bed and the pillows were comfortable.

Easy and pleasant check-in, room was well stocked and comfortable. Parking was easy and a good price and hotel was in walking distance of lots of places. Very clean, housekeeping was excellent and everything was well stocked. As a solo female traveler I felt safe.

The rooms are very small, beds were comfortable, convenient to where we needed to be. Street noise and we could hear people clomping in the rooms overhead

Everything was awesome, great place, just a few steps away from the Americana and if you like shopping just cross the street to Glendale galleria, the room was very nice, all the essentials that you need when traveling, very nice place, totally coming back
