    This place is a staple of my Weekend me and my wife out of the way off in the cut good people quiet place safe place secure place clean place room 203 room 205 room 207 room 201 are my go to the hot tub is amazing big enough for two. The water is super hot. The jets work no bugs and the owner of the lady she is so sweet and kind. Always like going to see her. Her husband always fixes anything that we have that we need. He’s there with the quickness so thank you guys at Tilbury Inn sincerely Steven and Sam.

    At all the places I’ve been in California this place by far is the best in customer service cleanliness, and all around down home feel the owner. She is a great person and is always out to help you. We stay there all the time and not once have we had ever had a problem. She’s very kind and sweet and always looks out for us. My favorite rooms are the two hot tub rooms genuinely legitimately real hot tubs in the rooms. I give it a 10 out of 10 on everything this judged sincerely Steven and Sam

    This has been one of the most disgusting rooms iv ever been to the staff is horrible as well rude and liars. The room was dirty as soon as i got to the room I took a shower used a towel laid down when I lay down I saw hair stains and stuff on the controller. So I started to inspect the room there was a sock holding the sliding door stains on walls it was horrible I went to ask to change rooms the staff refused I asked for a refund and they agreed but lied I never got my refund and they still makes me pay 20 cash because I had laid down and showered there

    Water in the tub was great. The cleanliness was great. One issue I had was neighbors being loud arguing at 1:30 AM, not necessarily the property’s fault but it did ruin my stay. Also the management charged me a $40 dollar cash deposit but told me they would keep 20 at the and of my stay which should’ve been a charge when I purchased online. I was able to talk her into giving me 30 back but I didn’t have more time to argue.

    Everything was ok for the price paid. Bathroom had a large area of wall missing directly in front of toilet area. Looked like they were attempting to fix something for the hot tub possibly. There was 1 small dying cockroach on bathroom floor upon check in. Not a huge deal. Assumed it was from the open wall in bathroom area. Didn’t have a chance to try the hot tub out. Can’t say one way or the other. Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. AC in room worked great! Bed was very comfortable. Shower was GREAT! Staff was friendly.

    The room was poorly maintained and not clean. The towels provided were small and thin. The shower leaked water into the rest of the bathroom, creating a safety hazard as we nearly slipped several times. We booked a room with a king bed, but the bed was noticeably smaller and seemed more like a queen size. Only one room key was provided, which was inconvenient. There was dust and dirt throughout the room, and the furniture was worn out and unclean. The front desk staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and had a poor attitude. Additionally, the curtains did not fully cover the window, allowing too much sunlight into the room early in the morning, there is no sheet between the blanket and the bed, There was no sheet between the bed and the blanket, which made the bedding feel unhygienic. I was left wondering when the blanket had last been washed, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.

    Toilet leaked into bathroom and room from wax ring …didn’t flush when hotel staff was using laundry machines . ..made bubbles/noises Tv kept shutting off ever 3-5 min /graffiti on edges. Hole in wall imprint of coke bottle. Termite droppings every day in shower Late check out only @ $12 hour even after staying 3 days.

    Parking is horrible but besides the parking issue, my spouse was working in town so we choose this hotel because on website looks peaceful quiet & clean. We were wrong. Rooms smell of food,onion or curry . They allow lowlifes drug users to stay. Our room was back to back with a man that Was Banging all night on walls and halloring from top of his lungs all night with heavy cuss words (f.word) tv super loud. We werent able to get any sleep at all. We turned the fan on to reduce the noise but didnt work instead my spouse is sick with a cough . When complained to office, she knocks on door of the rude guest and expects me to talk to this lowlife, she told him about the situation snd all he said was ohhhhh sorry.. Mgr husband said i should have called office and mind you this is all night,the phone in room dont work and we are not walking outside in the middle of the night. He knew about the noise because at 1AM we heard him warning the guest,but it didnt help at all just made the guest get louder..Horrible service. Mgr had nerve to say putting us on do not let us stay list ,when it was not us,it was the lowlife drug user guy. DO NOT STAY HERE! Oh, and rooms have mosquitoes.

    The room was very clean. The location was in a nice fairly quiet neighborhood. I wish the bed had more pillows. King size should have 4-6 pillows there was only 3. The clerk wouldn’t give me an extra one. Also the TV could have been bigger.

    Honestly the pictures were not exactly what the rooms looked like very small rooms could have been a little more clear with the deposit that’s expected they only take cash deposits so be prepared to have to go to a near by bank to get cash The rooms were not what the pictures were showing on the app the lady I asked when I called to see if they have a pool said there was one only to find out there’s not what’s so ever they stated no smoke but the building smelled like cigarettes and weed.

    The staff tried to scam me. I paid for the hotel in January. At check in, he told me I needed to pay cash. I left to go to a bank which delayed my already late check in and thankfully I was able to find the receipt to show I already paid. I was confused why he wanted me to pay more cash when they had a scanner for a card and I gave him my ID at check in and they were stating they only had one room available and demanded cash. I had to show them the receipt for them to finally give me the key. The the room had blood on the wall, pubes in the sink and overall very dirty. I’m extremely disappointed this was a recommended stay from hotels.com. Thankfully I did not give them the cash else I would not have received it back which is unfortunate since I am a teacher and have limited funds.

    Nothing The bathroom had hair on the floor. The toilet water tank had blood stain on the side that had dripped along the side and dried. During checkin there was a requirement for a $20 cash deposit. When checking out, the lady at the desk was adamant that we did not give her the deposit. She kept repeating that she wasnt given the cash deposit. I asked her to check the footage from the camera that is there and it will show that we did. At this point she didnt say anything and handed us the $20 bill. She was clearly trying to keep it.

    A very comfortable, clean simply basic room at an excellent value for the rate. The upgraded designer bathroom fixtures and amenities are a definite plus. Sadly, no ice machine on the property.

    The location and only one of the owners, the man. The staff is very rude, the lady whos the owner is always full of herself and always trying to find a way to keep the deposit and overcharge. One time I needed help because i was running late and left at 11:30 am and she kept the deposit and I am always leaving the room very clean and has never had a complaint about when i stay there.

    I do not like the fact that front desk kept asking for $20 deposit in cash even though I insisted that such deposit be charged under the credit card that I used to book this hotel stay. I do not like the fact that even though it is advertised that housekeeping is done daily that when I requested for housekeeping because our towels are already wet and our trash needs to be emptied the front desk person insisted that housekeeping is only done on the second night. When I requested that the trash be emptied we came back to a room and found trash bags on our hotel desk table signaling that we empty our trash and replace it with those plastic bags ourselves. When I asked that our towels be replaced because they were all wet and we placed them on the bathroom floor we found replacement towels on our desk the next day while the wet and dirty towels stayed on the bathroom floor. The hotel looks pretty decent even though there wasn't a roomy parking space but staff needs to stop treating their own property like a third world Hotel with Third World Service

    Remember you get what you pay for the pics posted are nothing like what it looks like beds are uncomfortable poor cleanliness the floor was dirty when I checked out I saw housing keeping cleaning some rooms I saw the cleaning supplies they use and it’s stuff you can get at the dollar store/walmart which worried me as far sanitation and disinfecting the tv sucks basic cable and the tv remote control didn’t work so we couldn’t even watch tv they have very limited parking which sucked the location is terrible surrounded by homes those residents park in the street which means no parking outside the hotel I had to park my car two blocks down from the hotel and had to walk wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Also one towel had brown and red stains. I wish they could just throw away towels that have been previously heavily stained instead of washing and reusing it. Another issue was the TV that kept randomly turning off. Property should also note on its page that they require a $20 cash deposit upon check in. Nothing on the listing was said about this. Other than that it was an okay hotel considering the price. Not the best but also not the worst I’ve stayed in.

    Overall, This is a good hotel if you’re looking for somewhere just to sleep really. Neighborhood around is nice and is very walkable with stores around. However, we were pretend with a surprise fee of $20 at check in for security. We paid it but that should be mentioned somewhere in the listing.

    This cute little property is not only adorable but they made the check in (arrived passed midnight) process super fast and easy. The room was clean and unlike many properties nowadays, offered all that they promised they would. Thank you to the staff, we were able to rest and continue on our trip.

    The hotel looks to be for overnight activities in that the front desk is behind plexiglass and the bedside tables in the rooms had burn marks and circular bumps on them. The sheets had stains on them and the bathroom while modern, seemed like it could use a good scrubbing. The bed was very comfortable and the TV and wifi worked well. The fridge and microwave were very nice amenities, especially with a grocery store nearby that also had an EV charging station which while busy, was very convenient for us to charge. The AC unit cooled, but the thermostat didn’t work. I had to continuously reset the device to get it to cool for about 5 minutes which wasn’t possible when sleeping. The website says the rooms are soundproofed, but that certainly is not the case. When checking in, we were asked for $20 cash deposit. Both the website and the sign at the front desk mention a $100 credit card hold, so this was unexpected, but refunded on checkout. I would recommend spending a bit more for a different hotel if possible.

    I stayed at the Tilbury Inn and it was a huge disappointment. First off, the TV didn’t work, the lights kept glitching there were no toiletries, no towels, and no toilet paper. Nothing was stocked in the room like it was supposed to be. The air conditioner didn’t work, and when I asked to switch rooms, I was told no. There is no housekeeping it’s run by a husband and wife, and they don’t come by to check on your room or offer any service. There are also no trash cans, so you’ll have to hold on to your trash until you leave. Worst of all, they ask for a cash deposit when you check in, but when you check out, they inspect your room and refuse to return your deposit for any small excuse. (Like your trash, when they have no trash cans in the room) The parking is terrible the spaces are extremely tight, and if you drive a bigger vehicle, you’ll probably have to find parking down the street. Definitely not convenient. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep for the night, this might be a last resort. But if you’re staying in Los Angeles for the weekend or trying to enjoy your visit, find another hotel. Even a Motel 6 would be a better option. If you do end up staying here, bring your own toilet paper, towels, blankets, fan, shampoo, and conditioner you’ll need it all. This place is not what they advertise online, and the customer service is nonexistent. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

    It’s not in my culture (from the UK) to tip unless the service has been exemplary, and she didn’t do anything outside of her role. She was nice, but that’s expected. I was thinking about leaving a tip as I know it’s a “thing” here, but hassling me for one wasn’t a good service.

    I would not recommend staying here. The people are very rude (in our experience it was the lady) and will do anything to get cash out of you. They make you leave cash when you check in and after checkout they inspect the rooms before you leave to try to get more cash out of you, it’s a scam!! They they ask for tips and are very rude. There is rats in the building and smells very bad. There was hair all over the bed sheets and towels. The floors are sticky and they don’t clean your room during your stay. After the lady didn’t find anything in my room she had to give me cash deposit back but insisted I tip it to her. Do not stay there. You will be watched by them at all times and it was very uncomfortable.

He’s an 85 year old man oh what about a tip?     We stayed in a jetted tub room--the room was very spacious, the tub is big, and the glass shower very nice. With such a large room and distance from the TV, it could be larger; the furniture is kind of odd with a glass top office-type desk; there are only a desk chair in the room; the refrigerator is kind of loud right next to the bed. But over all a great room for the price.

I have never been asked for a cash deposit before. When I checked out they did not offer the deposit back until I asked for it and then rety in very begrudgingly with a sour expression. I suspect it is a bit of a scam where people forget they paid it or think it is deducted from their bill. It was not. So be aware of this.

    I really like this hotel I got the honey moon sweet for me and my partners the room was nice. It looked newly renovated but the walls were very thin we could hear the people next door on both side and they heard us. The area was nice, but there were just a lot of homeless people in the area

    Manager or front office lady was irritating. She was making a big deal because we only put 3 people down but we had a person book late with us and we didn’t think it was a big deal because the room slept 4. Then the lady said I needed a $20 deposit cash only and waited next to the ATM I was at to receive the $20 deposit. They never came to clean the room or give us clean towels. It smelled like body odor in the office.

    The staff were helpful, the place was clean. The a/c just wasn't working that well, and the bed didn't have that many pillows besides the 2 cheep ones that were there. Parking was pretty narrow at times.

    The toilet smelled like poop and rotten eggs and splashed up when you flushed it. There was hair on the floor and on the walls of the shower. There was rust in the sink. The parking was horrendous. We had to park in a handicapped spot because there was litterally no one else to park.The tv didn't work. The staff told me 3 times no smoking when I said ok and then proceeded to ask me if I smoke which is none of their business. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The shower was nice with two heads, butI highly recommended just staying somewhere else. Not worth the discount when you're smelling poop the whole time you're in your room with no tv to watch.

    The experience was horrible! The bedsheets were dirty! The walls were dirty and the sofa bed had no bed sheet and had a pee stain. We got there and the first night the lady that doesn’t management came up to our room to tell us to tell our kids to be quiet because her kids and her sleep under our room and they had school. We tried to take a shower and it took 20 minutes for the water to warm up. We also had not room service and were told we had to look for the house keeper out selves and ask if she could do room service. I would never stay at this property again. The area was nice and safe but the property is horrible. There is also not enough parking and no microwave. If you need the management then good luck they close the office and go to sleep and you have to know in the room they sleep at to get something.

    We had a late check in, online it said it was 24-hour front desk, the open sign was off and we had to press the bell button a few times before anyone even came out; they came out looking like we disrupted their sleep and was just not in the mood. We were charged a $20 cash deposit that wasn’t online. When we got into the room it was dirty, covers were dirty, bathroom was dirty, the towels they provided stunk and had hair on it. Anyways, we just needed a place to lay our head for the weekend so I didn’t make too much of a fuss, all we needed was a bed. When checking out, the open sign was again off and we had to ring the bell. The first thing she had asked was whether we took our garbage out, I was in shock because what? That is crazy again not in their listing so I thought out loud and said wow, that’s crazy? She thought I called her crazy and we had a back and forth altercation which is very inappropriate and not great customer service all around. I mentioned to her that it should be added to her listing for us to remove our own garbage if that was the case. I was however given back my $20 cash deposit upon returning the key card. Late at night, we also noticed some people in the their cars having intercourse making all kinds of noise. They did not care about what was going on. I don’t recommend staying here.

    At first glance, the room we got was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Bead sheets all had stanis. As well as bugs crawling on the walls and floors. And the bathroom was disgusting.

    I definitely would not suggest property. The room was not bad. But the owner is very dodgy. First of all he wanted $20 cash during check in? I had already paid with Expedia??? the reason we chose this room was we needed to use the sofa bed since we had 5 people. When we get to the room there was not any bedding for the sofa bed. When we checked in we said we had5 people. I told him we needed bedding for the sofa bed. He said "no". When I tried to talk him into the bedding he said" beds are for sleeping and sofa is for sleeping, $10"!!! Then when he gave us the "bedding" all it was was a flat sheet!? No pillows or blanket.

    The rooms are not sou as it says on the website. The front door as a 2 in gap on the floor, you can her people in the other rooms. Place was a pretty shady place. If you asked for extra sheets it was a cost. The room had a sofa I requested more sheets as my 2 teenager boys did not want to sleep on the same bed. We were denied unless we paid. Parking was terrible the spaces were too small. The tv did not work, it turned on, but you were not able to switch channels all you saw was a picture on the screen. The room was not cleaned there was hair and stickers on the sheet not visible unless you are pre-cleaning as I do. The walls had boogers and poop stains on the walls. The smoke detector had no battery's. The ac only worked at night it was so hot in the daytime. They did not provide trash bags, only 1 roll of toilet paper for the whole stay, the little shampoo they give you were used as if they do not provide new ones for every customer, no housekeeping service, no phone in the room in case you have questions to the front desk. Everything was a charge. Check in was weird they have you pay a $20 deposit cash only. At check-out they refuse to refund it. I asked for my deposit. The lady said is the room clean I told her as clean as I could leave it all we left was trash like food and drinks. She said it's for the housekeepers. It sounded like that is how the pay the housekeeping wages was based on the deposit. It was so bad I do not recommend this hotel very disappointed.

    Roaches everywhere!!! We stayed here a few weeks ago & it was a good stay that’s why we came back! This stay there was roaches in the shower while we were showering!!! In the bath tub, around the bathtub, in the toilet area!! I’m sure they were all over the room we just could t see them because of the flooring!!! It would be good if they stayed up on the big control

    Was clean, room was cool. Loved the jetted tub and nice big shower. Only thing was they had an ironing board with no iron nor coffee or coffee pot in room. Other then that it was nice!

    Its a decent Hotel for the price. The best feature is, there is are 2x rooms with Jacuzzi's in them. The staff are friendly & accommodate when you need something. Theres a free 1 car parking per room and plenty of street parking.

    Lots of stores and several restaurants in a 7 mile radius but it has low space on parking. Floors are supper dirty i drop a drop of water try to clean it with a white rag it turn black so floors need a lot more cleaning

    I love the location, but Liked the hotel nextdoor much better for about $30 more it has more parking and a great lobby to sit. I wouldn't book this again. Load people stay here
