Net net, if you are driving a car, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE in the neighborhood. Downtown Glendale is great with a lot of restaurants and clubs

I've stayed here twice now, and both times, everything was great. I like that there are always several staff people available in the lobby, and those I've interacted with there or on the phone have all provided excellent customer service. Everything in the room functioned properly and was clean.

Parking was next to the hotel but not free. Breakfast was okay. Staff were friendly and attended to our needs asap.

The staffer super help play. The location was very good. They rooms are very clean. I would have not prefer to have a wheelchair accessible room mainly because they are awkward to shower in. But did not feel like going downstairs and getting it changed just because of that.

Only knock was the cost to park a vehicle. I had called pre-stay and someone told me it was $22 per night; when I checked in, the cost was $48 per night. It caused me to cancel my rental car and use ride share transportation instead.

Used valet parking which was very handy. Staff were friendly and the breakfast is worth the price each morning. Great location in terms of being able to walk to shops and restaurants as well.

We requested a crib and this was not available. This is ok, but we had asked beforehand and not been told that this would not be available. Some more transparency about this in the days before the trip would be helpful!

It is just a five-minute walk from the Americana, and we were easily able to walk to places for dinner and breakfast.

I love the amenities that the hotel provided, extra snacks and drinks. Also gyms and the pool, we did used it very well. Love that the hotel is close to different restaurants and mall, so it is quiet but also had a lively atmosphere nearby.

We’ve stayed at this location multiple times over the last few years. It’s near our kids/grandkids we are there to visit, and it’s convenient to uber back and forth. We were pleasantly surprised to find they’ve added an included breakfast that I don’t recall from previous visits. Safe, clean location with pleasant helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I immediately take off stars for hotels not providing daily housekeeping. At check-in I was handed a typed paper stating that the hotel has “recently begun sanitizing high contact areas” to keep me safe. Recently? It’s 2026, not 2020. If you are not going to provide daily housekeeping, you are no different than a VRBO or AirBnb. As an upscale hotel you should provide daily housekeeping, no excuses!

All staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and the room was neat and well-maintained. Parking isn’t free but they do have valet and their personel were all friendly and happy to greet us all the time.

The parking was way too expensive and here is only one short vehicle lane at the valet/main entrance resulting in our being stuck waiting and unable to move for over 30 minutes and then eventually we had to back our vehicle out in not the safest conditions to be able to leave.

I was under the impression that breakfast was included but I was charged $22 per day. we also had a sweatshirt stolen from our car. you MUST valet. there is no self parking. Valet wasn't cheap either. we were given a handicap room and we are not handicap so the bathroom was awkward. overall I am disappointed in this Hyatt place. its usually a solid hotel but LA was a disappointment.

This place is rundown. There was two cockroaches in the bathtub when I asked for them to partially refund me due to the cockroach incident they said no we can only give you points, which is not what I wanted. They did give me another room but again the place is rundown and gross will not be staying there again..

This is the second time in my 63 years that I have posted a complaint, but her I go…..I was given a handicapped room so the bathroom was enormous for wheelchair access, but the heat didn’t work in the room so showering didn’t heat the bathroom up enough to be comfortable. The heat didn’t work the first night at all so I wore a sweater to bed. The channel changer batteries were dead so I couldn’t watch tv that night. Maintenance came to fix the heat and changer the next day so I was warm and could watch tv, but when I tried to turn the heat down from 85 where the maintenance set it so I could sleep without sweating, it cycled on and off every two minutes. So the second and third nights I turned it off completely and put a sweater on to sleep. I should have asked to be moved, but didn’t want to keep bothering the staff. We often stay at Hyatt hotels because we count on them to be nice. I’ve stayed at this hotel before since our daughter lives in Glendale, but even though the staff was very friendly, I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

First, our heater wasn't working, so it took a long time to get the room warm and all of us comfortable. Then. The breakfast was AWFUL! The waffles were like crackers and the eggs were dried under lights. The valet was CRAZY expensive and the AP didn't even work right either.

Cons: valet parking is very expensive and we got charged one extra day when we only parked for one day! The carpet and the sofa in our room were stained in several places. Poor upkeep in spite of good housekeeping.

Overall, the hotel felt dingy, outdated, and overpriced for what was offered. I expected much better from a brand like Hyatt and would not stay here again.

Had a note in the room that said breakfast was open until 10 am but when I came to eat just after 9 AM they had closed most of it down and no hot food and only fruit and bread available. Communication on the early closure was poor.

Overall, the facility is clean and convenient. The only thing I didn’t like if the temperatures in the room is too warm, there’s no way a thermostat set at 65 and I’ll be sweating.

We were happy after we changed rooms- originally we were put on the 2nd floor, directly above a busy intersection outside. Very noisy. Room had very high ceiling,didn’t cool properly. Nothing on walls. Asked to be moved and had a much quieter, cooler, and decorated room. Thank you, Andrea, excellent front desk staffer!

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable and up to date room amenities. Walking distance to dining and shopping. I enjoyed having coffee ready in the lobby before 5:00 am, very convenient. Self parking is a separate garage adjacent to the hotel, I used the valet and got good service instead.

The staff were great. Polite and helpful. The pool area was clean. The hotel overall was quiet. They offer breakfast at a price and 24/7 room service. Onsite laundry ($2 wash $2 dryer) There were several stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel does not have parking. $48 Valet option. I did find parking at the Orange St Parking Structure for $12 a day, there are several other parking options in the area ranging from $15-$54 from what I saw.

Would have been better if there is self parking at low cost as $48 per day parking fee is very expensive.

Besides that, the front desk was never welcoming, and the valet parking is ridiculous. Can take up to 20 min from when you request your car and it was almost $150 for 3 nights, and they clearly expect you to tip each time.

Service was great, we got the biggest room that comes with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa, the pullout sofa mattress was so uncomfortable kids had to sleep in the bed with us also recommend to take your own blankets because they only give you sheets.Overall we really liked the area and think of staying here again.

First time I heard of hotel do not clean on Wednesday? We paid for 5 people to stay and we get 3 towels? And have to request to clean and only upon request? Managers excuse was policy still same as during COVID time? Unbelievable and you carry the name Hyatt! Never will book any Hyatt stay in the future!

I believe you have an eco-friendly environment, but it would be nice if you provided a separate recycle container in each room. The waste can fills up really fast since when you only empty every other day.

My husband and I stayed there, June of 2025. It's a nice hotel but we felt like the valet parking was difficult. There is only one way to go in. The Driveway is so narrow, you have to wait for the person in front of you to load their luggages and all their belongings before you can drive away.

Cons were: the ac couldn’t seem to get to the temperature we wanted. The walls are a little thin we’re located right above the pool and we could hear anyone using it. They could dim the lights a bit at night as the bright lights flood into the rooms around it. I think we were above the house keeping area as well, we could hear rushing water every few minutes at night. Valet is expensive and there is no self parking.

The location was great for visiting Universal Studios, and it was handy having a shopping mall within walking distance. Everything inside the hotel was well-maintained and clean. Unfortunately it gets noisy at night, and even up on the 6th floor we could hear the cars and sirens. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, but the coffee was weak. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for me, but in fairness I struggle to find comfortable pillows. I don't like the fixed shower head, and the spray wasn't as strong as I like, but I've had worse. Having said all that, for the price and the location, we would probably stay there again.

Our family stayed here while on vacation to Universal Studios. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were quiet and very clean.

Second time staying here, and we loved it! Only 10 minutes from Universal Studios! 2 minute walk to great shopping and dining options. Safe area, great staff and wonderful valets! Everyone was great! I will not stay anywhere else when heading to the LA area. Room was clean too.

Great location with plenty of restaurants around. A couple of blocks from Glendale Galleria and Americana. The only dow side is the parking cost which is $42 per day, plus it's valet only. Other than that it's a good option

Spacious rooms, good storage space, great beds and good seating area. Friendly and courteous staff. Bar and restaurant a plus. Very clean. I would stay again.

We always stay here for the location to great food and easy distance to our family.

Nice and clean place to stay close to a lot of shopping and dining options. When we checked out the host waived our breakfast fees. The valet parking was pricey, but convenient. When you are downtown parking is often paid parking so no surprise there.

Great location for a LA stay. Plenty of parking options nearby. Shopping centres and food options around the area. Felt safe.
