This is a very good hotel. My husband and I enjoyed staying here very much. We like the drink machine in the lobby too. If the price is right, we will stay here again. Please be aware that maintenance staff members are unavailable before 8 am.
- 4/5
Hotel was super peaceful, the parking fee should be included with the room.
- 2/5
No real people. Only virtual. Parking lot is small. Expensive. The room has much space.
- 4/5
Location and price and great for staying while passing thru LA -it does the job
- 5/5
Great stay, fast and easy check in. Highly recommended at the discounted rate.
- 5/5
i stay here fairly often and have never had a problem with staff, cleanliness, or anything else. my stay is always basically perfect!
- 5/5
I was a little hesitant with the virtual assistant, thinking I would be chatting with a bot, but was pleasantly surprised that it was a live person. She was pleasant, helpful and check in, check out was breeze. Hotel is conveniently located close by freeway. I also loved the coffee/expresso machine in lobby. Room is a bit dated, but was clean, spacious, and plenty of natural light.
- 5/5
The services is good and the room is spacious..The location is accessible to the city.
- 5/5
Located in a great area!!
- 2/5
No live person at checkin .15 dollar parking fee that I was not aware of when I made my reservation on line. I will not stay there again.
- 5/5
No complaints . All was in great shape and very clean
- 1/5
Room was dirty and a lot of sketchy stuff going on
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Everything was fine, clean detail, checking in was easy. The only thing that I was not impressed. It was the coffee machine, even though there are two. Even a sparkling water dispenser.. I think they can do better with the coffee also some milk and fresh coffee cream overall I’ll give him a five out of five
- 4/5
This is definitely my new home love the cleanliness and amenities and treatment
- 4/5
When making the reservation, ask the stuff, they guarantee that the rooms will be quiet and what they plan to do if the people above you or next to you are being very loud or have children that are uncontrolled. It’s not fair for all the guests to suffer because of really Child or a child. That’s not properly raised by parents. If they cannot control their children, they must always be told that they should leave the hotel. As a parent myself, I never had to worry about that. My children was never ever allowed to bother anyone on the first floor or floor for that matter.
- 5/5
A very nice place and very economical too.
- 4/5
1st time having to check in thru video w/ someone overseas. Had no idea where to check in until asking another guest. What I did not like, was the surprise parking cost. Never been to a hotel where parking was an additional charge. Would prefer to have it included in the price. The TV did not work w/ the remote.
- 5/5
Quick and easy check in process
- 4/5
Clean room 24 /7 free coffee and flavored water Don’t like : not Senior friendly- bathtub not a single handle Toiletries un satisfactory
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here. On our next trip, we know where to stay. Thank you.
- 5/5
It was a great property but no breakfast and a $15 parking fee that was not told to me when making the reservation.
- 5/5
Always a great stay when I am in town for business
- 3/5
the place smells dank. the fixtures are working but need improvements ( shower heads and diverters). lots of hallway and parking lot noise in the rooms.
- 5/5
I keep coming back because everything is always good. Thank you, Glendale Hotel.
- 4/5
The stay was overall good. Check in process was easy at the front desk kiosk. The room was definitely not the cleanest. I found previous person’s belongings in the room. There was leftover food in the fridge and a hair tie on the bedside table. Plus one of the towels had a stain on it. This shows the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly after each guest and it’s disgusting.
- 3/5
To check in was through a kiosk with someone on the other end in video. Only had 1 kiosk which made check in take a very long time. Hotel is non smoking but room smelled like smoke or strong musk smell.
- 2/5
One highly positive for Glendale Hotel was the on-site house keeper who was very friendly and accommodating. We ran into her randomly one night and asked for more toiletries and towels and she obliged even though it wasn’t regular housekeeping times.
- 3/5
First - the check in is done with a virtual agent. The check in itself was fine but never saw an actual employee on site which could be an issue if you need something. Second - the room wasn't terribly well insulated. Lots of creaking, car noise, and happy chirping birds in the morning. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Last was the main issue - luggage storage. When we booked, the ad at the time indicated luggage storage was available. It does not say this now. The virtual agent informed us they will only hold luggage on check in and not out. This almost ruined our plans for check out day. We had to search out an alternative as we also did not have a rental car to leave luggage in. I explained to the check in kiosk agent who said she would speak to management but that they don't store it. Management called the room (i guess, we weren't there) then wrote me an email confirming they refuse to store luggage. Perfectly fine policy i guess but I have never encountered a hotel do this. Perhaps because of the lack of on site staff? If I needed luggage storage or any on site help I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean room
- 5/5
Everything was just perfect! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, and every detail exceeded our expectations. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
👍👍👍👍
- 5/5
i travelled with my family. it's a virtual staff but the lady who help us was very accommodating. she explained everything and even offer some good recommendations where to eat good food as it was our first time . will definately use it again
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 1/5
No
- 4/5
Clean basic hotel. Not a fan of the virtual check-in experience but no complaints otherwise. Would stay again
- 5/5
Pretty great but it would be the best if there was a kettle
- 4/5
Property check in is kiosk only. Had to call the number to schedule room service and they did a great job. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Amazing place , loved everything! Super clean has a lot of food options nearby. Staff was very helpful and nice . Loved the drink station which was available 24/7 safe location with many stores and restaurants nearby - it is little away from main tourist spots but bus stop is 2 minutes away
- 4/5
the problem the aircon too hot!
- 4/5
It should have some food options available for travellers
- 3/5
Hot tub was move
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Room was clean, air conditioner ran extremely cold, good price. A bit dated, but can’t complain!

Very clean nice hotel
- 1/5
Hotel was terrible, when walking into our room. Strong odor. Head started hurting. We walked right out. Very run down hotel. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight.
- 5/5
Virtual check in was easy. Lobby was clean. Room was clean. Hotel was super quiet. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Free coffee machines were a big plus and the room was nice. A good, affordable option within reasonable driving distance of several attractions. The daily parking fee was not fantastic.
- 5/5
Good place to stay! Rooms were clean and there’s always staff at the kiosk. Good area with a bus stop right across the street that’ll get you to the train stations if you’re traveling without a car. Restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance!
- 2/5
Asked for a couple pillows @ 1600 hrs. The remote attendant at the kiosk said they couldn’t provide any because the staff was gone for the day. There were no additional blankets beside the worn one on the bed. For $240 a night, a guest should be able to get an extra pillow and/or blanket. Not here, though. Not good.
- 4/5
I was surprised to not see a front desk but a person on a video screen that took all the information and helped check us in and answer any questions I had. The place was clean and just what I wanted, clean, less expensive and close to restaurants and a grocery store. I’d stay there again if I was going to a park or show near by.
- 1/5
I upgraded to better room then she end up giving me handicap room I didn’t stay that night and I left that day. I would like to get reimbursed for that day. Terrible communication skills
- 1/5
The hot tub does not get hot at all. In fact the entire water in room 111 was lukewarm so I checked out early and requested a refund.
- 3/5
So old
- 3/5
There is no physical staff to check you in. You check in with someone who is remote with spotty internet connection so it takes extra time to check in. No one comes by to clean your room, if you need any towels you need to go grab them yourself. Walls are supper thin can hear ppl next door and ppl walking around upstairs.
- 1/5
In the room adjoining that of my 81-year-old parents was a group of men yelling and cursing. I alerted the woman on video at the kiosk and she was going to send the (female) security person. That may have happened, but the noise continued. This noise was audible 4 doors down in my room, but horrible in my parents' room, because they had nothing but a connecting door in between, so no acoustic isolation AT ALL. No one helped. Further, the multiple Febreze plugins in each room did not cover the heavy smell of smoke, and was terrible for the perfume-sensitive. In both rooms, the fan in the bathroom was incredibly loud, like a jet engine-our fan was hanging by wires below the ceiling. There was mod in the shower grout. The table was dirty with something sticky. There were chips out of the bathroom counter and a smear of something red across the front. The water temperature of the shower when turned all the way to hot was about 1 degree above room temperature. Again, NO HUMANS beyond morning housekeeping staff. Bad neighborhood, too. We have zero idea, with such striking problems across the board, how this hotel gets a decent rating on any site. This hotel should be rated as a one-star.
- 4/5
Other than that, the hotel is clean, the cleaning staff that I saw the next morning were friendly, and the 24 hour the coffee bar is a nice amenity. If I had been staying with someone - preferably a big, strong someone - I may not have even noticed the low security.
- 4/5
Clean and affordable - plenty of amenities.
- 3/5
The restroom was rusty the rooms need a re fresh. I wouldnt stay here again. The property was closed to universals & it was $100 per night so I thought it was a good deal. Parking was $15 there is no staff to check you in you have to do that with someone on the other side of the screen, it was easy to do so.
- 3/5
The water in the shower barely got hot even with the temp handle turned all the way to hot. I also felt like it was weird not being taken care of by a front desk person. The virtual format was taking forever to process the people in front of me and I felt like it would have been easier and nicer to deal with an actual person
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Area felt safe, easy walk for food or shops all within a few blocks. Free coffee/water 24hrs, was a nice perk. Room is clean and good bed, only down side is no charging ports, need electric plug, otherwise great stay, 3 nights.

- 5/5
Good space in rooms!
- 5/5
Spacious room. Perfect for our 1 night stay. The virtual check in and checkout was easy.

Sencilla pero limpia
- 4/5
Good location. Not super clean or well maintained but reasonably priced and good location.
- 5/5
Really well kept and clean rooms, staff is super friendly and welcoming. On site parking for $15
- 4/5
Very central and clean. Didn’t know I’d have to pay for parking but the place was cozy.
- 4/5
Tv wasn’t working but luckily we don’t need it as much. Otherwise great stay, great staff great check in
- 1/5
i worry for all the outstanding health hazards in this hotel. beware
- 3/5
There’s a $15 charge for parking
- 5/5
Everything is good 👍
- 3/5
The room 100 is very loud with it being next to the stairs. There was also not hot water so we showered mostly luke warm water which felt cold during the time we were there. The air conditioner and everything was loud. The air vent was loud in the bathroom. Beds were nice on the other hand and the room was pretty clean.
- 3/5
Property was fine but they don’t have in person front desk staff which was not helpful for my 75 year old dad. Would not recommend for low tech people.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Noisy A/c Asked to move and they accommodated to much better room.
- 3/5
Air conditioner smelled a little moldy
- 4/5
good
- 4/5
Very safe they need to put fans in rooms pedestal fan
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
I got the romance room. Even though I traveled alone. Loved it. 1 complaint would be the $15 parking. They have ample parking space and it's secured. I feel like they just trying get a much money as possible or of people and that the parking charge is petty. Overall the room was very nice and clean.
- 5/5
Great deal, the rooms were clean, and quiet. I felt safe which is important for a woman traveling alone. Quick and easy check in. All in all a great price and a decent room. I’d stay there again
- 5/5
Awesome Staff and Location. Will definitely look into staying again when I’m near LA. Could have more options for drinks like apple and orange juice. The Bevi was cool for water refills but a little variety of other drinks would be cool. Otherwise it was tremendous! Would recommend!
- 5/5
Cute
- 4/5
My wife and I stayed in the "romantic room" with the jetted tub, for our anniversary. Great price alot less then any other jetted tub room i priced. I did not see that they had payed parking only($15 a day). Still cheaper. Alot of good eats close, walking distance. Shopping too. Good stay, only negative was my wife had a bad fall when she slipped entering the shower the morning we were checking out.
- 5/5
Super comfy hotel very homey Very close to a lot of stores and food places! Beautiful view right near the mountains :)
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Check in without a kiosk virtual, the room was clean neat ample space. Jenny checked me out. She was very kind, professional and efficient.
- 5/5
You may think it’s an old looking building but the room is so spacey and I love it !
- 2/5
It's not the nicest place. but its affordable
- 3/5
Just basic bland property. Slightly poorly taken care of once past the lobby. Check in was a kiosk staffed by someone in the Philippines. For the price, it did its job…. But definitely better choices out there.
- 4/5
I don’t like the virtual check in
- 5/5
The use of a virtual desk representative is off putting.
- 2/5
The room was not clean. I found a pair of dirty socks behind the entertainment center. Then, when I sat on the bed, I started itching so bad all over that I couldn't sleep. I paid for the room with a jacuzzi tub. When I arrived, the Jacuzzi tub was right next to the bed, which was next to the shower with glass doors. Out in the open with no privacy. Lastly, the cord connecting the TV to the outlet was stripped, and the wires were exposed.
- 4/5
This place does the job. Probably not the best area of Glendale but still pretty safe their coffee and water machine in the lounge are very good
- 5/5
The room was big, comfortable, and clean. Loved the 24 hour coffee/ hot chocolate and flavored water station. We didn't have any issues with the virtual check in either. I would stay there again!
- 1/5
They held me against their own mistake, told me to take my time and convenience. and then rushed me by banging on my door.
- 5/5
Everything was good and cheap
- 5/5
Everything was perfect as expected
- 5/5
Very good attitude and quite,
- 4/5
Air conditioner didnt work first day and maintenance got there late to fix it. Cracked tiles could be cleaned bettwr.
- 4/5
Virtual check in was easy, hotel is clean and safe.
- 3/5
Parking is not available for free
- 5/5
Clean room and good location for my needs.

It was a terrible experience because I thought this was a family-friendly hotel (my two children, ages 9 and 6, were with me), but the couple in the room upstairs was making far too much noise—specifically, sounds of intimacy. My children couldn't sleep; it was such an uncomfortable situation that I had to play music all night long so they wouldn't hear it (the creaking bed and the screaming). I do not recommend this hotel for families.
- 3/5
Sink basin leaked all over the bathroom. But room was fairly clean.
- 1/5
It was ok
- 3/5
The remote worker was a unique touch to check in but I would be worried if I needed something. Rooms are large but outdated furniture.
- 5/5
Clean room and easy checkin. Our room was huge
- 3/5
Overall okay experience
- 4/5
Need a face lift for rooms..
- 5/5
Room was nice and spacious and parking area felt safe

- 5/5
Nice and very clean room.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Wish we had stayed longer. The virtual check in was an experience too. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Easy access, parking and check in!! room could have been cleaner, was no smoking room but definitely had smoke odor. Overall, good price and convenient location.
- 4/5
Ran into an issue upon and the staff resolved it quickly and gracefully. It's not the nicest hotel, but good for short stays and easy access to the freeway. Parking is not free though, so be mindful.
- 4/5
Good property would stay here again. I do not like the fact they charge you 15drls to park your car there, no front desk
- 2/5
Guys, check out is at 11am usually check out at other hotels with late check out is at 1. I asked for a late check out and they only gave me 30 mins. For the price we pay we should be able to check out at 1 this is ridicules AND THEY MAKE YOU PAY 15$ for parking 😒
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Deluxe King Room is spacious, but extremely dated. Pictures online do not match what we booked. None of the furniture nor decor matches the aesthetic. Couch was uncomfortable and cushions pertained to a different couch. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Nightstands and tables were absolutely filthy and floor was not vacuumed. Horrible lighting throughout the rooms. No TV in bedroom while TV in living area was poor quality. Requested another TV for bedroom and was told that there were none available by rude virtual desk agent. Bed and mattress were decent. AC unit in bedroom was so close to nightstand that you couldn’t even open the top drawer. $15 a day for parking is absurd for a place like this. I will never stay here again.
- 1/5
No front desk. Room smelled like pee. Bathroom was a dank, moldy, mildew smell. Left immediately
- 5/5
Every convenience, location, and very clean I will come back again
- 5/5
The room was clean, the air conditioner was pretty quiet and the bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Very impersonal. Not good. Had to pay per night for parking. Not good. I liked the room and housekeeping ladies if I encountered one.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Looks old creaky carpet floor but clean.virtual staff check in and fast.
- 5/5
All was great! 😃
- 5/5
I was mot able to sleep because of the AC outside the window. I shoud be offered some commission
- 5/5
The room was clean and big.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff
- 5/5
The coffee machine is fabulous!! We loved it! Nice lobby to sit in if not in a big hurry to get anywhere. I sat, read my book, enjoyed 3 assorted coffees while my husband slept in! Super! Good value!
- 4/5
It's an order building, but the room was quite clean and had a small refrigerator and a microwave!
- 1/5
What staff? You talk to a person on a screen. Photo's are a lie this place is not as clean as it makes you think. The door entering the room has a gap you can look through when it's closed. Not safe at all and has a very creepy vibe.
- 5/5
We didn't see a hot tub; however, the room was wonderful, AC worked great. Definitely a good rest after a long drive
- 2/5
Room had a strong smell. No staff or reception desk, virtual check-in kiosk only.
- 1/5
My credit card has been double-charged. I contacted the manager, but only received a reply once, and haven't heard from them since. They won't even give their name, what dishonest behavior! What's going on? Are you refusing to help me because I'm overseas? This is a matter of trust! You must let me know the reasons!!! I will keep posting this until I get a proper response! thanks!
- 3/5
Rooms are a bit dated, & could do with decor update. Be aware if you’re on the ground floor….you will hear the noises from the above floors! The ceilings & walls are very thin, so you will be able to hear noise! Not a good at all! I had to request a room change due to the noise! But overall stay was okay.
- 5/5
Location is very convenient love the rooms
- 3/5
The service was good we were able to have the same room even though we booked some dates not toghether. we
- 5/5
Hot water not warm enough; water comes out of both the shower and tub faucet at the same time.
- 5/5
Clean room!!
- 4/5
The video front desk thing is a little strange but actually pretty efficient. The free coffee machine was pretty decent as well in a pinch. The only negative was that parking was paid (standard in LA) and then when a friend wanted to visit it cost even more, even for just a couple of hours.
- 2/5
The mattress was extremely firm, and I wasn't able to rest at all. I woke up in a lot of pain
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the high ceilings I had on the third floor.
- 4/5
I'd stay here again for the coffee and water machines in the lobby. Rooms were large and clean. Hotel is showing its age, though.
- 5/5
Room was good and staff was friendly. Close to many things. Good location.
- 4/5
Room was a bit old, but clean and cozy. Remote check-in using the terminal is a bit unusual experience, but it went fine.
- 1/5
Everything. Dirty, outdated motel
- 5/5
clean
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Honestly the rooms was really clean, bathroom was as well! Quick and easy check in and check out. It was an amazing stay!
- 1/5
The rooms are very spacious and give the appearance of clean. Don’t be barefoot here, just a heads up. The room seems outdated with outlets that can’t even hold your charger. I had to extend a night and rather than move hotels I paid online for an additional night. Instead of simply keeping me in the same room they moved me. They moved me into an exact same type of room. They felt was best. Same issues with some of the outlets, the restroom was even more outdated than the room. I had forgotten an item in the previous room and called the front desk asking if I could retrieve it. Their response was “we will call you if we find it”. If you find it? I knew it was located in the drawer of the nightstand next to the best. I could describe the item. Still , they would call me. At check out, still no call and no item. Now I am out $150+ and all research was lost. No apology or anything to rectify the issue on the part of the hotel. Horrible place to stay at and my recommendation is to stay away. There are far better options in the area with far better service.

I wish the old owners still owned the lodge now motel, I feel they would weep seeing all the staff gone and replaced with a video screen. I’m sorry things went to south for what once was a fabulous lodge. I don’t think I’ll be back, not for the leaks and the door, I would have been okay with those as this is an old building; it’s the video screen check in that really, REALLY bothered me. I need a human experience I guess? But more than that, the place needs a person there to manage these things that are breaking down. Housekeeping isn’t enough, they are housekeepers, not maintenance or managers. It’s sad.
- 5/5
The room was large and clean.
- 5/5
Very clean room and restroom with helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
No receptionist
- 3/5
Stained on bed sheet and towel smell like bleach and made my body smell like it too had to rewash.
- 3/5
Room was dated but clean enough. Service staff was nice and responsive. Beds were comfortable but very skimpy on pillows and blankets. Microwave and fridge were appreciated as well as coffee and flavored water in the lobby. The coffee was actually good! Good location. No registration on site only a kiosk that connected to a live person elsewhere.
- 1/5
When we reached the third floor, the hallway smelled strongly like body odor and cigarettes and felt very creepy. As soon as we opened our room door, we were hit with a strong, fresh cigarette smell, as if someone had just smoked inside. The room was dirty and unwelcoming. The carpet looked so filthy that I kept my toddler’s shoes on the entire time. My husband even found dry dog food on the floor near the bed, and the TV didn’t work. We tried calling the front desk to request a room change, but the phone in the room didn’t work. My husband had to go back downstairs to the kiosk to complain. At that point, we were fed up, grabbed our child and belongings, and drove home after a long day at Universal Studios. The only positive was Expedia’s customer service, which helped us get a full refund. Cleanliness was unacceptable, customer service was nonexistent, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families. Honestly, it makes me question how the positive reviews for this place are even real.
- 4/5
the room was great!
- 5/5
The service to check in was great, the room was clean and i really like the hot tub in the room
- 3/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the housekeepers were extremely attentive especially Bri, and her mother. Bri had me laughing , with such good care i felt from her. Truly a breath of fresh air. Also the front desk overseas family were extremely kind, professional and made sure all my needs were met
- 4/5
at the checking in online, I am not sure if the young asian girl's problem?, but it was so slow to do every step which was so stressful, but when switching to a different lady, it came out to be really quick and professional, thank god! other than that, it was reallly nice experiences, such as nice king sized bed, bath, and table for computer works...etc
- 4/5
The coffee machine and complimentary water is a godsend. As for the rooms, it smells like cigarettes despite it being advertised as smoke free. Just a heads up for families are immunocompromised. There are noises in the hallway in the middle of the night, beds are comfy and the bathroom is decently nice.
- 2/5
There is no front desk and theres nobody to talk to. You are basically talking to a robot and they dont have breakfast.
- 5/5
The Girl at the front desk I was and is always the Greatest the room nice and clean bed and pillows I apreciate nice and soft amenities yes great coffee and waters thank You all
- 1/5
The staff made my experience there very unsettling! They double booked my reservation and attempted to not refund my money. I will most likely not stay there again!!
- 4/5
Clean room with an easy to use jacuzzi tub
- 5/5
Great place to stay. I was not expecting to pay extra for parking. Great coffee

Check in was seamless with a kiosk, they have a excellent coffee machine that makes espresso and add shot assortments also aflavored water machine which was also complimentary. Our room was nice, clean and updated, shower was perfect we stayed one night for a quick trip to universal studios. there is on site parking for a fee, very easy in and out, we will definitely stay here again, there is food places all around. For the price and value We were definitely pleased.
- 3/5
The staff Was Very rude, When It came Time To check Out before 11. This start, knocking very hard at the door. I was getting Ready to Live Very awkward.
- 2/5
The check in virtual staff was terrible. I believe this is on Expedia’s part but it was never mentioned for a 150 deposit… still waiting on it back. Back to the staff the lady seems agitated about the questions and overall had a rude demeanor. Her name was Paula. I usually don’t write reviews since they are a hassle but I was dating one night and checking out early at 3am. A little bit of customer service isn’t difficult to do.
- 3/5
staff was nice if they can understand English
- 1/5
As a result, my clothing and personal belongings absorbed the smoke odor. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with management, including multiple follow-ups, but received no meaningful response. I have since filed a dispute with my card issuer. If you are considering a stay, be aware that non-smoking rooms may not meet expectations and that management may not address complaints effectively.
- 4/5
Definitely worth the price in around Hollywood area. Not a spotless but service was fast and good location.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
The room was very clean and fitted my needs perfectly.
- 3/5
The check in was a virtual person on a screen. I checked in and she gave me a card key to a room already occupied by another guest. Fortunately they were not in because that would have been embarrassing for all concerned. I went back to the virtual person and she gave me a key to another room. I could see she muted me at one point and chuckled about it to someone else. It was not funny.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
everything was great except for the one kiosk reception. either have multiple kiosks
- 5/5
Check in was amazing, parking was easy and affordable. Rooms were basic but clean and met all our needs - if in LA again would definitely stay.
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 3/5
The room was good nothing crazy, someone up stairs was just walking around all night annoyingly, front desk situation is interesting don’t feel like anyone really works here
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
There is a kiosk to check in. The lady in front of us was having trouble so we waited in line almost 20 minutes. The connection to the agent she was talking to on in the kiosk kept dropping and she would have to start over. Absolutely horrible experience!
- 5/5
Great hotel will stay again, everyone is very welcoming
- 2/5
Virtual check in is awesome. Hotel and carpet is old. But the free coffee and sparkling soda is good.
- 5/5
Easy checkin process, clean room
- 5/5
On the first floor there was a cabinet filled with amenities like towels and soap, made restocking convenient. Check in was on an iPad, which I was wary about but it was a smooth process.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the hotel is close to all sightseeing
- 5/5
The check in process was cool. The virtual computer check in !!! Never seen that before
- 4/5
The parking lot was well lit. Checking in virtually - was smooth. The room was clean and AC was working great. It was a bit loud from the outside considering it was almost midnight. The shower was not as strong because it was losing half the water from the lower spout. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise it was a good stay. I would come back.
- 5/5
Solid solid
- 5/5
Awesome stay
- 5/5
excellent
- 3/5
Like bad smell in room
- 5/5
Clean rooms very comfortable
- 3/5
The room let in a lot of street noise and noise from the hall and other rooms. The room itself had quality items and good amenities. Would have been a great score except for the noise.
- 5/5
Very clean place !!
- 5/5
Accessible
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Upon entering, the main entrance is so tidy and grand, and their attendants are virtual. All you have to do is stand in the yellow box and chat with them. We booked the jacuzzi room, and it was a really maintained room! The standup shower and jacuzzi were right by each other and was ventilated really well. The AC and Heater works as well :) The only complaint I have is that it takes a while for the housekeeper to actually come by when you request for one at the front, but once they do arrive, they're lovely people that helps and accommodates to our needs. Will definitely book again!
- 1/5
Easy access from the freeway. Good enough parking from what I saw. Having a digital only check in kiosk is a total nightmare. It took forever to check in. The kiosk didn’t scan IDs efficiently and there was a long backup. Cleaning staff came through the lobby and the noise drown out the sound of the kiosk. Outsourcing a front desk is an awful decision. I would not stay here again based on that.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Room was clean, and the location has plenty of food options near by. There is no physical front desk person. Our room only had 3 towels and 4 of stayed the night.
- 4/5
Overall a beautiful stay
- 5/5
Great location and calm
- 2/5
The hotel clearly does not expect repeat customers, with extra charges and fees and poor customer service. On top of the gouging room rate of $275/night, we were charged $25.00 for early check-in. Telephone calls to the hotel "operator" went unanswered, and there was no staff onsite (other than maid service during the day) for questions (tv not working, or extra
- 1/5
There is no front desk and the kiosk to talk with someone virtually was very clunky. No security as anyone can walk in/out of the lobby and on any of the floors as you don't need a key to get around. I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
They list them themselves as a hotel, but in fact, they are a motel . There’s no reception area with a lobby and staff,They do online checking. There’s no staff on site if you have any issues. A fight broke out in front of the room for an hour and a half with no security and we were stuck in the room.
- 5/5
Just sucks they charge for parking And the check in process is super annoying
- 1/5
The staff was very friendly and efficient. The problem was the room itself. It was dirty. The pictures speak for themselves.
- 5/5
Loved it here, i recommend it! They are super clean
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Clean room. Beverage bar in lobby. Shopping was just a short drive or bus ride to get there.
- 1/5
The price I was charged was not consistent with the Expedia price I was provide at time of booking. Very much disliked being checked in by a video camera. We stayed two nights and room was not cleaned after the first night. After inquiring why we were told it was required to request the room to be cleaned despite no communication to do so. The hotel was old, smelled musty and needed major updating.
- 3/5
Bathroom wasn't well cleaned (hair on the floor) and it's a bare bones facility. No one even works the front desk or is on premises (virtual lobby) and there was a poor homeless lady and her son taking cover in the lobby all night when we were there. Will not return.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Remote to tv didn’t work nor did the shower head
- 1/5
The room was advertised as a queen bed room, the bed was full size and too small for two grown adults. Very uncountable. The room smelt musty and was very very humid inside. Very disappointed and wish I would’ve saved my money on this scam..
- 4/5
Que los cuartos huelen un poco mal pero de limpio y como está bien. Me gusta los precios si están poco caros.
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
Sink in bathroom was leaking and room was not clean.
- 1/5
Front desk said no rooms were available to move us, and management never responded afterward. Poor hygiene, no accountability, and zero concern for guest safety. Would not recommend, especially for families.
- 5/5
As a Travel RN, it is super important for me to stay in a safe, and clean hotel while I look for my permanent housing while on assignment. This hotel is darling. The rooms are super spacious, and the bed is so comfortable you do not want to get up for work. The rooms, and hotel are extremely clean, and decorated so lovely. The check in is completed virtually, and so easy. The young lady was professional, kind, and extremely helpful. There is an elevator close to the lobby to take you to your room. This hotel is located in a super safe area of Glendale, CA. It is walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops, and one of my favorite bakeries Red Ribbon. I highly recommend this hotel everyone.
- 3/5
The room was ok, –but expect the weirdly futuristic talking head automated check in (via computer), and know you WILL be charged for parking. –They should mention that in the rate quote.
- 4/5
The computized check in
- 5/5
good place with great price and clean room
- 5/5
I normally am not too picky when on road trips - just need a comfortable and clean place to crash...this was that and more - an older property that had gotten a bit of a refresh at some point, so a bit more modern and appealing...the check-in kiosk threw me off initially, but it was pretty convenient and when I needed a replacement keycard, it was super easy...the kicker was the free coffee/beverages - it was pointed out a couple times as a perk, I figured the usual pot of stale java...nope, actually two machines that made fresh customizable coffee, as well as flavored water dispenser - these two amenities definitely would make me come back for sure!
- 2/5
The hot tub was really loud, and room service was hard to come by.Because the hotel was constantly short staff.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel and affordable. I've stayed here a couple times already.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
The check-in process was awful.
- 4/5
Everything was fine except housekeeping never changed out the bath towels when we asked in the morning

Different deal everything was done via video. It was not a bad experience, but I didn’t that my needs were addressed completely. Other than that, everything went well.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Over all great
- 3/5
The beds were dirty it looks like the bed sheets were not changed we found hairs on both queen beds
- 5/5
Real staff
- 5/5
The room was larger than I had expected. Staff very helpful. Very clean. Was at the top floor so we were able to open the windows for some good airflow.
- 5/5
Yes! The check-in process was extremely fast.
- 1/5
Check in was terrible.
- 2/5
I waited in line for more than 30 minutes . They only have virtual check-in, with only one person trying to check people in. Also people came back down and were complaining that the room they were sent to was already occupied. The whole thing was a mess.
- 5/5
Loved the space and the cleanliness of the room
- 4/5
Great room. Refrigerator wasn’t cold, but eventually found temp control. Had to use ice in cooler for food storage. Only real dislike was the impersonal kiosk check-in. We were fifth in line for the one kiosk. At a normal hotel, a second person would come out to help; no second kiosk rolled itself out at this place!
- 4/5
The bedsheets were stained. But overall, was a nice stay. Parking was safe and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Room is clean, parking has door for safety, new AI check-in
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, excellent customer service, room condition just perfect 👌, surrounding area is great 😊
- 5/5
Absolutely
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, and the coffee bar was a nice touch.
- 4/5
Such a good service, the room we stayed in had a really odd smell, but other the. That it was pretty good
- 2/5
The room smelled really weird and musty. Not necessarily like cigarette but it was gross. The air conditioner didn’t work well either. I asked my friend about theirs and they said the air didn’t work well. I couldn’t watch tv because the enter button on the remote didn’t work. The bed was comfortable and the shower was honestly great. It was a nice shower head and the water pressure was amazing. They also had a coffee/cocoa machine and a sparkling water machine with different flavors and that was my favorite part and the only reason I’m not giving it 1 star. I got my hotel room at a marked down price so I got what I payed for, but for anyone that is going to pay full price I’d say find somewhere else.
- 4/5
- 5/5
Although a virtual check in, everything went smoothly. Staff is courteous, attentive and friendly. Room was clean and spacious.
- 4/5
Nice and quite
- 5/5
There are no staff , you are greeted by a screen
- 3/5
It was completely virtual and I’ve never had that before. It was a little strange. The place was clean and worked for what I needed it for but not a place I would normally stay.
- 4/5
The room was great, except the lights outside the room in the parking lot were very bright through the blinds and the water pressure in this room wasn’t as high as I like but overall great stay.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
everything was great. wish it was free parking tho.
- 5/5
Everything was good, but only one thing. I didn't like on that hotel at the checkout. If we check out at 12, we have to pay 28 $, there is no late checkout, the latest checkout. They have only 11:30, so only 30 minute. So, this is I didn't like on that hotel. If we want to request late, check out ya, they will charge. So do not bother yourself and ask for late checkout.
- 2/5
Rooms are not clean. There is hair in the bathroom
- 5/5
Yes clean room. Yes great staff. Great price. Convenient and great location for pleasure and business.
- 4/5
Friendly staff..clean room, clean appliances.
- 2/5
The carpets were stinky and outdated Out room was big, but no cabinets in the bathroom to put out stuff on It’s more like a motel than hotel The name is misleading
- 2/5
The TV is not working. I contacted them. They told me they’re gonna take care of it. They’re gonna give me money back. They did not do anything.
- 2/5
The AC didn't work in the room and I was up till 3 am trying different settings. Ultimately they gave us a different room that we had to move in the middle of the night. The virtual lobby assistants aren't that helpful.
- 5/5
Fast and easy. The virtual attendant was a new experience.
- 5/5
Was very affordable, clean, and felt safe. The soda and coffee machines were also really nice.
- 5/5
I really like this hotel it was really clean!
- 5/5
Room was clean and check in was easy
- 4/5
Convenient check in and out
- 5/5
The availability of unlimited free beverages throughout the stay was a nice perk. The in-room amenities, including a microwave and mini-refrigerator, added significant value to the stay.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Good surroundings and beautiful room.
- 5/5
Yes. Satisfied.
- 3/5
There is not front desk. Everything is done through a kiosk in the lobby. Overall stay for the money was good.
- 1/5
Room was dirty when we arrived. Dirty sink, bed not made, bathroom dirty. We were moved to a room that was not the same type we booked and paid for. Nobody reached out to comp or compensate in some way. Hotel is very old and needs a lot of work.
- 1/5
While checking in I was charged my “hotel hold deposit fee” twice-once on my debit card & once on credit card. When I alerted the online check in kiosk there was no apology & nothing could be done. Terrible service.
- 5/5
Incredible. We Love,
- 2/5
There is no reception in this hotel or virtual person. Carpets are not clean. Room smells. Can not check before 3 pm or you have to pay for even one hour early.
- 5/5

It was fine
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Excellent value; good location; clean ample rooms.
- 1/5
Dont book here I book the hot tube room for two days once I checked out and waies the time my deposit was supposed to sent back to my card but it didn't had to call several times just to be told I smoked in the room smh I never did Im on camera on the property smoking by my car Always never in the room at all if that was so wouldn't the workers smell the smoke and kick me out I was there for two whole days now Im out 150 for something I never did so say your money and find some where better
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
We will definitely stay there again. Its convenient to our reason for traveling to Glendale. Room was larger than we expected. However, good luck in figuring out how to get extra towels. Front desk has been closed in. Only a person on a screen which worked out ok when checking in and out. Also, you will be charged $15 a day to park on their property.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. They have a virtual front desk which is open 24 hours so that was really convenient. The vending machines don’t always work and is managed by a third party so the hotel doesn’t handle issues with those. My biggest problem while staying here was the vending machine and having to contact a third party that never answers the phone. I would recommend this stay and I would stay here again with my young children.

- 5/5
The rooms clean big ,staff, and amenities great.
- 5/5
amazing
- 5/5
The picture of the room was deceptive. It showed a sofa but the room didn't have one but was on the 3rd floor and had very high ceilings.
- 1/5
Too loud
- 4/5
Room was very clean. Hallways and elevator was tatty and looked grubby. No set up to make coffee and tea in rooms - which is a big deal and I dont recall noting that when I made the reservation. Did not like check via remote video - connection wasn't great and there was no privacy. I would like to know where the copy of my ID was sent and if it will be kept secured??
- 4/5
Room size
- 4/5
Room didn’t have outlets for phones. No rack for suitcase.
- 5/5
Just what I was looking for this trip. This motel/hotel was very clean, had on site parking and very comfortable beds. It was a very reasonable price and just what we needed for an overnight stay between meetings.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 4/5
Room was good, and quiet. The video check-in was a bit odd and clumsy.
- 5/5
Thanks very good hotel
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, the staff was great and it was in the middle of everything.
- 3/5
The room was fine- had everything we needed. Check in was confusing- there is a kiosk that you talk to & the CSA wasn’t very helpful or friendly.
- 2/5
The room was fine, but the parking lot lights shined in my room all night, curtains did not block it. Also, not a fan of the virtual desk agent.

I had great hopes as the room seemed nicely appointed. But the main reason for staying in a motel or hotel is the ability to get your rest and a good night sleep. While the quality of the space was nice and clean, the mattress was horrible. There was also a lot of street noise and I could hear people in other rooms. None of this was conducive for sleeping. It was my first time with the disembodied to check in where there is somebody in the video screen in a kiosk. There appears to be no staff except for people cleaning rooms.
- 2/5
The property charges extra $15 for parking which was not posted at Expedia website.
- 5/5
I stayed here for two nights and everything was great. Clean and modern and a decent price for what you get. Parking is $15/night and there is no front desk person, it's all done by kiosk with a live person on the screen. I overheard someone else checking in and the kiosk person is not necessarily even in the USA but they were pleasant and easy to talk to. It was okay, just different. Convenient location in Glendale and I will probably select it again when I return.
- 4/5
Room is good and check-in is smooth
- 3/5
The staff was amazing but the room had bug bites and now I'm full of it
- 5/5
Helpful staff. Huge room.
- 3/5
Parking it should be free
- 5/5
Very clean awesome epic very cool for that yes okay that’s all.
- 1/5
Covers had stains and toilet stopped working and they werent able to fix it. Not very nice stay
- 3/5
Ok but needed more lights and there was no coffee machine as promised. Front desk person is virtual, not in person and you have to get your own towels from cabinet in the lobby if you need them
- 1/5
There is no customer service, and employee very rude she don’t know how to talk with the guests , the worst hotel I ever been
- 4/5
We enjoyed the coffee machine and staff was helpful and friendly. We were always able to secure a parking spot.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice overall. It has coffee machines with hot chocolate and a bunch of different caffeine shots which I thought was super nice and the room was very nice too and clean. I booked the romantic room with the jacuzzi and the shower next to it and me and my husband loved it. It's also pretty conveniently around a bunch of food places, a mall and 15min away from Universal Studios. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
- 5/5
Great spot
- 3/5
Rooms were great
- 5/5
Awesome room - more like a studio apartment.
- 5/5
AC kept the room cool. Easy parking and check-in/check-out. Clean room.
- 5/5
Beautifully maintained hotel, clean, great location, and easy booking.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
It was very clean looked safe quiet area the only thing I was upset it was because the heater was not working the room was cold my kids had to shower I call they say there is nothing they can do they won’t give me another room cause they were sold out they say do know know if that was true they say they will get bask to me but no body ever did not the manager when you book a room you expect for what you pay every thing should be working but other then that it was a good clean hotel
- 2/5
I didn't like the fact that they don't automatically clean the room during a multi night stay. I also did not like the fact that there was not a live person at the front desk. It didn't feel safe especially when there would be what seemed to be homeless person just loitering in the lobby with no one there to make him leave. He liked homeless and somewhat a threat.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Nice and clean place.
- 4/5
Hotel still good , just needs renovation , carpets smells bad -))
- 3/5
Place was fine for the price. Extra $15/night to park your car. No front desk, just a kiosk with virtual workers, sometimes took a while to get help. Toilets clog easily, key cards demagnetized every day.
- 5/5
Large suite was great. Nice to have free beverages in the lobby too!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Spacious room. Clean. Sofa is old and have stains. Coffeemaker in the room would be great instead of just at the lobby.
- 4/5
staff was courteous. room was clean.
- 4/5
First impression was good, there was ample parking, the lobby are was nice and clean, the coffee bar was great, the check-in was quick and easy via the virtual receptionist kiosk. We booked the Romance room with the jacuzzi tub. The room did smell a bit humid, but we simply opened the window and it aired out for a bit. The cleaning lady was nice and friendly, we were welcomed with a warm smile. The hotel is central to major freeways, a Target, Starbucks and many great restaurants. It’s about 10min from downtown Glendale with has great restaurants and shops. Overall we had a good stay, we would definitely recommend staying there and we will be booking again in the future.
- 3/5
I didn’t like. The kiosk for the front desk
- 3/5
AC works bad
- 5/5
Very nice .
- 3/5
It has a virtual front desk and although there was someone there at all times, the room didn't have a phone to call someone when there was an issue or needed a later check out. The shower situation was subpar. I had very little water coming from the shower head. The carpet in the halls was soooo dirty and gross looking. I felt like I was staying at a run down hotel. It looks way nicer in the pictures. The housekeeping staff was friendly. I stayed there because I was told it was $80 a night from a co-worker, but in reality it was $95 a night when you factor the parking fee. Definitely not worth it. It was a large room, but the couch had mismatched reupholstered and it just looked dirty. I would not sit on it.
- 3/5

- 4/5
The new virtual check in is not my favorite thing
- 3/5
The motel rooms were clean.
- 5/5
Nice (virtual) staff. Very clean, and price-point a pleasant surprise for a suite in that zip code.
- 3/5
The carpet and the decor in the room were very old and need to be replaced. Please also consider having plugs on both sides of the bed. I needed a plug on the left side for medical equipment. And there was none available. It was very strange, not having a front desk and people to interact with however, staff was responsive when we had an issue with the refrigerator. So there were pluses and minuses, and knowing this, I would probably stay here again.
- 5/5
:)
- 4/5
great
- 5/5
Good place to stay! Very affordable.
- 5/5
What I wasn’t happy about is the up charge for the parking. It feels like a cheap shot to advertise one price then tell you, oh, ya, fork over 30 more bucks a night to park here, sucker… Just be transparent and HONEST, include it in the price, that way there are no surprises.
- 1/5
I don’t think I got my security deposit back
- 5/5
booked hotel for a trip to LA with my lady at first glance I didn’t think much of the spot at first I was considering other hotels near this one but glad I chose The Glendale Hotel. Service was good and the kiosk was not hard at all to navigate. The room was nice, some little stains and chips scuffs in the doors and walls here and there but no dealbreaker sort of stuff. Beds were nice and no weird smell or stuff in the room. A/C worked, nice TV channels and the shower and jacuzzi worked well. Thank you for the stay, will consider coming again next time! For the price it was worth it and they let us late checkout for a small fee.
- 3/5
What I liked about the hotel was the location. It was more less a 5 minute drive to the main highway which connects you to the main tourist attractions such as the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica and Downtown LA. Even though there wasn't a physical person to help during the check-in/out process, the kiosk was pretty easy to maneuver as the live agent was always available. However, the smell of the hotel was horrible. From the lobby, to the elevator, to the room, the smell was not the greatest. The carpet and couch were dusty and smelly as well. The price of the stay was reasonable but not the extra $15.00 of parking per day.
- 5/5
Our stay was great! Very clean. Best matress ever! Would stay there a million times!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Good place for a weekend, close to college.
- 1/5
Sofa in suite was worn and filthy. Charge of $75 was on my credit card for no reason, I left the room extremely clean and undamaged in any way. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.
- 4/5
Rooms are above basic. Clean and fairly quiet.
- 5/5
Super Clean room, really a nice place to stay
- 3/5
First, it’s not advertised that there’s no staff in the building. Everything is virtual. Website did not disclose how payment would happen and the virtual lady at the virtual desk was not willing to be helpful after me and kid drove for 8 hours. The room wasn’t very clean and it was hard to get when needed. We won’t be staying here again.
- 1/5
From the moment I walked in I noticed there were no people there's a screen and I have to talk to a robot to check in. I don't like that I like a person. Secondly, if you wanted maid service, which you would expect every day in a hotel that you're paying that much for But you have to ask the robot for it every day if you want it and then they won't even tell you what time it's gonna come because they don't have the maids there they have to come from somewhere else thirdly my phone didn't work so I couldn't call down for anything because there was no place to call. There was no room Service The only good thing I found there was the hot chocolate in the lobby. and the shower..
- 5/5
Loved it I’ll be back!(:
- 4/5
Overall, really solid hotel for the price. Convenient, clean, quiet and easy checkin and out. Comfortable bed and good sized room with king bed. Great shower too.

Clean room and nice lobby. Friendly free 30 minute checkout extension was nice to know they provided. Complimentary coffee in lobby was a great bonus.

Not good
- 1/5
The lobby smelled of urine. The staff refused to check us in because they wanted to charge $150 on top of our reservation for incidentals; which was not explained prior to booking and then they made the reservation non refundable afterwards as well! I was here in California to visit my only child at the cemetery. This was an outrage. They were rude, deceptive and have poor business practices. We ended up at the Hilton and were better off for it! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were extremely accommodating with regard to our early check in. It was conveniently located and the price was excellent.
- 4/5
It wasn’t so bad after all.
- 5/5
Clean and convenient. I was in town for an event at the Rose Bowl so this hotel was perfectly situated between the venue and the airport for an early morning flight out.
- 5/5
Quiet and clean for a good price
- 5/5
For an older hotel this was surprisingly well kept. The price was very good and it was easily accessible from the freeway. It was a great choice for our trip to Universal Studios
- 5/5
Not many shopping options but the hotel was very clean.
- 3/5
disappointing.
- 3/5
The check-in was super weird. There is a kiosk with a remote worker, who may or may not be even in the same state, who has you check-in. You literally have to scan your ID and swipe your credit card at this machine. (How difficult is it to have staff IRL check people in? California is no longer under Covid lock down. This is lazy customer service.) Also, there is 15 dollar charge for parking, and you get a "digital pass." As for the room, it was clean, but the A/C did not work properly. Will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Clean nice people shops and restaurants near by
- 2/5
Very old hotel, and they make you pay for parking — something I’ve never seen in my life.
- 2/5
There is only one kiosk, and when I checked in the key-printing part was having issues. They were able to restart some stuff and make it work remotely, but had it failed to work, I would have been unable to check in. My key stopped working every day I was there and I had to go down, use the kiosk, and ask them to generate me new keys. The rooms were large, but they had carpeted over... something? You could feel holes and dips in the floor under the carpet. It's pretty similar to most Motel 6s I've stayed in, but without a human present to sort out any problems that may arrive. Definitely should have just spent a bit more money and stayed somewhere else.
- 5/5
Yes everything was great
- 3/5
The check in process is terrible
- 4/5
There's a park across the the street, one of the best parks in LA.
- 5/5
There is a virtual check-in, and the virtual assistant is very helpful. The room was quite spacious for what you are paying.
- 5/5
Only stayed one night this trip, but have stayed before. Great for a short trip, location is convenient for the areas I tend to spend the most time in. This hotel no longer has a front desk and uses a virtual style check in, which is still pretty fast. I can’t attest to how helpful it is when there are issues as I haven’t had any problems or stayed long enough to warrant a need for a front desk person to assist with.
- 5/5
Special note that you have to pay $15 for parking.
- 3/5
The fan in the bathroom was pretty much useless and extremely noisy - so I unplugged it! There is no safe available so we had to carry everything with us all the time. The good points were we had a fridge and microwave with a grocery store close by and the coffee machine, in the lobby area, was amazing! The Italian restaurant right next door was fantastic!
- 3/5
This is a great location but the hotel smelled like an old ashtray that someone had left cleaning agent in….nasty.
- 3/5
The bathroom sliding piece of garbage barn door lets in ALL the light and noise into the Room and needs to be changed out. It offers NO PRIVACY if that is expected with other people in the room. Overall the room was very clean, bed linens were terrible and the worst fabric. Mattress and pillows were just fine and towels as well. The check in kiosk is weird but okay. It would be nice to know that an actual human person is there on staff physically on the property but never did we feel unsafe. Good location. Would recommend but not on par with price paid.
- 3/5
Room was ok far as being clean but the furniture is old and torn
- 5/5
Location is good, very close by to all shops & restaurants.
- 4/5
Did not like the virtual check in
- 4/5
Lobby is comfortable, although the Front Desk been Covered to Silk Grass. We check in with virtual assistant and very grateful they did reserve the room in the first floor for us.
- 5/5
Great check-in process. Plenty of parking. Quiet and huge room. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
What I appreciated most was the attention to detail and the level of service — anytime I had a question, the staff was quick to help with a smile. It really made a difference. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, hassle-free stay. I’d be happy to come back again!
- 5/5
Everything was good and easy
- 3/5
Including area surrounding the smoking bench! First impressions count!
- 5/5
I love the Glendale Hotel. Every time I have business in the area, I stay there. Although I wasn't used to the virtual check-in/out, they managed to make it personal. My room was spacious and newly renovated. The bed comfortable. I am looking forward to my next stay.
- 5/5
Location was easy to get to, and the rooms were nice and clean. The virtual check in was a little weird at first but it was a smooth process and we we're able to check in with no issues. Overall good experience!
- 5/5
I will be back.
- 4/5
Room was very clean, easy check in, bed was clean and comfortable. Only bad thing is the room smelled a bit off, and the area of the lobby smelt unpleasant. Overall, satisfactory experience.
- 5/5
Good parking
- 5/5
Great place to stay with fair rates. Coffee and water provided is awesome. Not a huge fan of virtual checkin but it works
- 5/5
I must say I never experienced a virtual live check-in before very quite interesting. Friendly staff, clean and the complementary drinks those machines are so CONVENIENT for the guests my favorite part of the stay, love my expressos and lattes! Celebrated my 40th birthday with my husband and stayed here for 3nights. Great location, close to many places such as shopping, grocery stores, or even a late night cravings (food). We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
This hotel is kept very clean and easily accessible. The coffee and water station in the lobby is a nice touch, and the check in kiosk was always available
- 3/5
There were plenty of towels and there shampoo conditioner had a nice smell that lasted ln the hair.
- 4/5
good for the price, our room could have been cleaner. the kiosk check in is fine but not great. the local staff was fantastic, very helpful.

Have stayed at Glendale hotel multiple times. Have always had a positive experience. On this occasion, we arrived to find the reception desk barricaded up with plastic plants, and a video check-in agent to greet us. No humans to interact with in person. We booked the Romance room, as with our previous stays, but got the next door room to the one we've had previously. Bath was smaller and actually a tight fit for me and my wife, we had a flood light in the car park shining super bright into our room 24/7, even with curtains closed, it beamed around the edges like sunlight, all night. On final night of stay, fire alarm went off due to the next room lighting candles around their (bigger!) bath, which triggered the fire alarms. It went off 5 or 6 times between 10pm and 2:30am, waking us each time. We spoke to remove video reception person who said she could not "see it on her system" but we got a housekeeping person who was on site to hear it and report it to the remote reception with us. We recorded it on our phone a couple of times. Remote video reception person gave us email address to email and complain to management and request refund for that night, then management failed to respond to 5 emails I sent. Escalated through expedia and they gave me a good will payment, but hotel have STILL not responded to anything, other than denying the incident ever happened to Expedia, but they will not talk directly to me. We have it on audio recording, and their staff heard it. AVOID!
- 4/5
Rooms were dated and lots of moths
- 4/5
Large clean room. Comfortable.
- 5/5
Only issues I had there was a weird smell in my room and this virtual check in. Should have more than one check in kiosk
- 5/5
I don't know. It was last minute and this hotel did more than just deliver. The digital kiosk was CRAZY
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and location
- 3/5
Charges $15 dollars per night.
- 3/5
Properly charges $15 per night.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
It is very rude and unprofessional
- 5/5
Good 👍
- 5/5
Family friendly
- 1/5
You have to pay for parking separately
- 1/5
Unacceptable high deposit
- 5/5
Can't complain about most things the room was fine and clean I it felt very impersonal
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Unique staff/front desk as its a computer screen with live connection to person. Nice hotel convenient location for my travel stops. Didnt like having to.pay $15 per night to park on site.
- 1/5
So no, it wasn’t a good stay. All the good effects of the hot tub soak were stolen away from the blaring, malfunctioning smoke alarm.
- 4/5
Lack of staff
- 1/5
Management
- 5/5
It was the perfect lowkey place and minimal contact with a check in station that a clerk checks you in via zoom.
- 5/5
Rooms were super clean, easy process to check in and out
- 5/5
- 3/5
Not having a person to check you in is so bad! Felt sorry for a guy that tried to check in ahead of us, the lady on the screen kept saying "your card is denied" and it was heard by everyone! When we checked in, we were told our room number was emailed to me, well I don't have access to my email! We saw a delivery guy that couldn't leave a package because no one is there, sorry but we hate your virtual check in or whatever it is called. We have stayed here numerous time and won't be staying ever again!
- 5/5
The added $15 parking fee snuck up on me
- 5/5
This place was very clean and very comfortable , I like that it smelled good enough toiletries and towels
- 4/5
Good location, had a grocery store within walking distance and a short drive to rose bowl. Only bummer is they make you pay per day for parking.
- 4/5
Room was large and nice. The carpet had large wet spots and smelled. Might have just been the wet wool smell. Other than that the air conditioner took a long time to cool down the room. I think they should leave the air on so the room stays cooler. We were going to the Greek Theatre so that was a nice place to stay. Good coffee
- 5/5
Great, clean
- 4/5
The room was a nice size with a couch and small table. It was clean and amenities were fine. The only wierd part was the virtual checkin kieosk and no people at the front desk, definitely a look into the future i am sure.
- 5/5
Have stayed before ,but this time no front desk you check-in on a computer with someone on the other end.. kind of different but it worked .. room are clean and inexpensive plus you can walk to grocery store in 1 block
- 4/5
Needs more agents for virtual check in
- 4/5
Yes
- 1/5
My room took a 1 hr & 30min to get ready. Had to wait in the lobby. The gentleman at the kiosk was the one working. Long line to keep checking if my room was ready.
- 3/5
The hotel was decent. It isn’t very new but it is kept relatively clean. The check in process is untraditional with no live person at a front desk. It is a virtual check in and we experienced technical difficulties while checking in and we waited about 30 minutes to check in because of this. We stayed 5 nights and we expected someone to come tidy the room at some point, or at least empty the garbage. This never happened. At check out I brought it up but apparently we were supposed to request a housekeeping visit. This was not explained to us at check in. I get that hotels are trying not to wash sheets and towels every day, but I would have expected one courtesy visiting for tidying during our stay. I should have asked about it earlier but we were busy with activities each day. The beds didn’t have fitted sheets, just a plain sheet on top of the mattress under the comforter. It was ok but for a five night stay we expected less issues. Ultimately things were fine if you are ok with a virtual check in and knowing you need to ask for housekeeping.
- 2/5
Virtual kiosk only service. No one onsite to truly fix issues that arose. Broken toilet with evening check in. Took hours to resolve. Solution from hotel was to cancel next day reservation since hotel was full. No offer of compensation. Had to fight to get a newly cleaned room and then transfer to newly fixed room the next day. Old rooms, extremely high price. Hot tub room had clear signs of mold in the carpet that they tried to cover with a TON of air fresheners. Pretty absurd. Only highlight was the coffee and water machine in the lobby.
- 2/5
The room was so Smokey (they posted songs of no smoking but was not the case) and smelled so wet amd musty is was terrible. We found hair all over on the floor and the clean (so called ) bedsheets. No front desk, just virtual.
- 5/5
All was ok
- 5/5
I’m satisfied with the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were hospitable and kind.
- 2/5
The have a virtual check in desk and is not great. No one to actually talk to at the hotel. That was not great. That should be on the hotel description.
- 5/5
Excellent price with a big room space. Clean.
- 5/5
Good experience and price.
- 3/5
Virtual check in was a bit surprising and strange to not have any front desk except for kiosk. Loved the lobby with the constant free coffee and water. Room was clean and ac worked great. Furniture was comfortable minus the one broken chair. Key cards were finicky and had to be reset during our visit. Overall minor issue and I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Will come again .
- 3/5
Room was clean. Bed uncomfortable. We changed rooms after first night. Bed was a little better, not by much. Don't like that they only had a front screen person. Impersonal. Hotels should have staff at a front desk.
- 1/5
Horrible place to stay!
- 5/5
Very nice Hotel and reasonable. I especially liked the Coffee and Water nook area.
- 5/5
Very nice room, especially for the price. Centrally located between the Rose Bowl and Dodger Stadium for a sports focused weekend.
- 3/5
As an older couple, being placed in a room with a jacuzzi and shower in the middle of the room, next to the bed was not near as comfortable as perhaps 40years ago.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable
- 4/5
The hotel was close to the venue we were visiting.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Clean room and excellent customer service
- 3/5
Good for the price
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Virtual attendant to check in was new to me but worked great!
- 3/5
Check in only done by kiosk which needed to be reconnected during my check in AND during my check out.
- 5/5
4th time staying here and always has it been great to stay here!
- 4/5
I just didn't like that TV Is too complicated to use,i wssnt able to use it snd there's no one to ssk for help.other than thst the room is good.
- 4/5
Virtual Customer Support is fine. Parking is not free for a non-secured parking lot.
- 5/5
Besides that; everything was great! Cant beat the price and the cleanliness with added accommodations! I definitely would stay here again. 👌
- 3/5
the staff was very nice. the photo that i saw on expedia must have been very old.. the place really needed a face lift.
- 4/5
Decent location. Lots to eat within walking distance and close enough to other LA districts that driving, even in rush hour, isnt a horrible drive.
- 5/5
Loved the jacuzzi/tub. Easy check in. Clean.
- 2/5
The air conditioning was not on and the room was very hot.
- 5/5
Will stay again soon
- 4/5
It's a great place
