Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Pool was nice, but since it's outdoors and plants are dropping seeds, the pool filter needs emptying more than once a day.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Room was updated. Bed was a bit noisy and not the most comfortable but good for an overnight stay. Refrigerator, microwave and a seating area were a plus. Continental breakfast was very basic, coffee/juices, cereal, breads, fruits, egg/bacon/hashbrowns. Great hotel for 1night stay.

It was a great room for the price and convenient location. Definitely not a new building, but I would have felt comfortable walking barefoot. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Very staff on check-in, good location. We only stayed 1 night, it’s kind of motel style where the doors are to an open outside area, the room was clean and the bed was comfy, if a little high and noisy.

I was only use hotel to sleep and out and about during the day so i can’t really comment on hotel amenities available during the day. My room card keys kept getting malfunctioned and I had to have new card key issued every night. Great location and quiet. Convenient to the mall or restaurants within walking distance. Evidence that hotel underwent updating and looks more modern. Highly recommend it for budget conscious travellers

Beautiful clean Friday evening staff was amazing. The gentlemen was very friendly and helpful. Check out staff on Sunday morning was very rude. Her child(looks to be around 10) sitting the front without sn adult watching a movie helping guest running around the front office. Waiting for 15 minutes before a very rude lady came from the back. Not a very good look.

Nobody was in the front desk I was waiting for 10 minutes. I was knocking on all doors there. Nobody was there and I almost left and I almost left a note that I was there and nobody was helping me. I find cockroach flying one I had to kill it and was dirty.

The Serene Hotel is a fantastic find for the low price. The recent remodel looks sharp, the location is unbeatable, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only downsides were the noise levels—the AC was loud and the bed was squeaky. Breakfast was fine, very basic, just what you expect from hotel on budget.

Receptionist is amazing. She was very understanding regarding special needs. The room met every need and concern we had. Comfy and homey feeling. Quiet evening. Very relaxing and awesome location with many to do's in the area. S t ay was too short. Nothing 4o complain about.

Receptionist went above and beyond- she checked us in with great efficiency and was very helpful. The lobby was prepared and welcoming. The pool area was well maintained, which made it fun and relaxing. The family room, restroom and shower areas were beyond clean. And everything worked fantastic. I recommend this place highly and will stay here each time I visit.

Hotels in a nice location beds are comfortable How to request for pull out sofa bedsheets, as well as blanket, had to make sofa bed myself. Sink to the bathroom was not clean properly as well as the headboard on one bed. And then upon checkout was met with disrespectful staff, even after paying the late checkout fee was still told to leave at 11.

Room was clean and close to the mall. We heard a loud banging that seemed to come from the other side of the wall and didn’t get much sleep at all. When I told the manager at checkout, he didn’t care. Just said “it was probably a homeless person banging on the dumpster and we don’t have any control over that.” He could care less. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else. Icing on the cake, even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the outside of the door, cleaning lady still knocked on the door after we’d only slept a couple hours.

My room had bugs in the sheets and no accommodation were avaliable! Would not recommend staying here, incredibly overpriced. No refund issued under the circumstances.

This hotel was in a good location near the mall with many options for dining and shopping, many within walking distance. The room not only was clean but smelled clean. The parking was good and in front of my room. I felt comfortable and safe at this hotel and if the necessary I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The pictures online were lovely. The young men working the counter very courteous and charming. The room however, was shabby. The shower wasn't safe because there were no grab bars and no shower mat to keep you from slipping. The food was low quality and actually made me sick

The employee’s at the front desk were very polite and helpful! The television set didn’t work,even after the night clerk tried to fix it, and the shower floor was so slippery I almost fell twice, my husband almost fell too! Not sure we would stay there again

I gave 3 stars because staff that night was very nice and was very clean... we were accomadated to another room but the water was not as warm as it should be, and after a call to the manager from staff, he claimed it was cold because it was late and everyone was taking showers!!!

We went 24 hours with no tv. One staff member worked on it for an hour, to no avail. We were told Cox would be coming by “in a few minutes” to fix it. After two hours, at 11pm, we gave up. The next day, a different staff member successfully reset and reprogrammed the tv.

We stayed here for a special event and met many people staying at the property for this event. I think most of the people staying in the hotel were there for the same event that would start very early Sunday morning. The event was "first come, first served" so being there early was very important. The hotel staff was aware of this. Breakfast was supposed to be included with the stay. However, breakfast service didn't start until 7am. Everyone attending the event needed to be at the location event by 7am. The normal breakfast service started at 6am, but the start time for Sunday was 7am. We asked the staff if they could please start the breakfast service early since most people at the property wouldn't be able to wait for a 7am start. The staff that was working called the hotel Management and they said "No". We were very disappointed. We understand all businesses have normal operating hours, but this was an unusual circumstance and it's sad they decided they couldn't accommodate their customers.

Upon check-in I asked for some water and was told by the night attendant they were out of water. The next morning the staff told me there was a water fountain and also water in the cafe area. The night front desk attendant didn’t offer us any alternatives and had an “I don’t care” attitude. Also, the shower soap dispenser was completely empty.

My son had stomach issues and got to front desk at 1pm. Representative didn’t offer to allow us to check in. He had us pay $30 early check in. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had this issue.

We had a mixup in the beginning, but Martha was amazing and fixed it for me. I don’t know the manager’s name, but he is also another amazing person made me feel like I was one of the family. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Arizona.

The property's location was great for shopping and the facilities are simple, yet the breakfast and the staff superior. The only issue that I couldn't understand was the constant noise that almost sounded like a pump of sorts that could be heard every 10 seconds in room 205.

The hotel was great, the only issue I felt like we had was that if house keeping was gone for the day the front desk wouldn’t get you anything you needed. You would have to wait till they came back to work the next day.

We stayed 4 days, I would think it would leave a less understanding experience for single night visitors. The hotel was fine. It was very close to the destination we needed. It was also booked late compared to my other family members. The rooms were basic and the service was nice. The beds squeaked every time we moved. The bathroom was alright but there were some questionable marks around the toilet.

Website and property signage offer a work out facility. There is no workout facility. Our room was not cleaned during our stay and the mattress was rock hard. The pillows were so bad I went to Costco to buy new pillows.

Said it had a pull out couch but just a fold down futon that was too small for 1 person. Dirty bathroom, no extras for the futons.

Room had a funky smell and says sofa bed but it’s actually like a small futon that only fits one person not 2. We had to have one of my sons squeeze in with us on the bed

Customer service was great- I interacted with 3 different female staffers and all were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The property itself is average, I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast or use the heated pool so I can’t speak to those. It was disappointing that the TV in my room didn’t work, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Hopefully maintenance can ensure all are working before any more check-in’s. The beds weren’t terribly uncomfortable (the bedding was actually great), but there is no box spring. The mattress would move around constantly and the large aluminum bed frame is noisy. Lastly, the floors were filthy. The bottom of my socks turned dark pretty quickly after checking in. I had slippers with me so I managed without a housekeeping call, but figured it was worth mentioning.

My only concern was when we checked in I asked if we could change rooms, because the one we got was right by a noisy street. First I was told they couldnt because we reserved a handicapped room. I didn't realize I'd done that. Then we were told that because we booked through Expedia they couldn't accommodate our request. News to me. Fortunately, it wasn't too noisy.

This location looks like an old Motel 6 they painted different colors. It is a two star motel at best. There was NO amenities, other than soap and towels. You could hear every car that drove by and when people walked by. The worst part is, I was attacked by bedbugs. I screwed up by staying there.

The breakfast was good. Several items to choose from. Very friendly gal who made sure to restock items and keep the area very clean. A couple of slight issues were our tissue box was empty. The location of the hand soap attached to the wall, was awkward to use, as your wet hands dripped all over where the tissue box was placed. Not enough towels. The coffee creamer dispensers were difficult to reach in a tight space between the coffee maker and juice machine. The pumps did not work properly.

It was a great hotel. Me and my husband loved that this hotel was literally right next to a mall and a bunch of other places that you can just walk to so it saved us a lot of money that we didn’t have to use uber. I rated cleanliness 4/5 because i did notice curtains had stains on them but aside from that everything was perfect and the shower looked brand new as if they had renovated. I would recommend putting ur privacy sign on the door during your entire stay unless you want to hear a loud knocking from housekeeping at 10AM😂. Aside from that housekeeping was very attentive to what we needed. Front desk is very welcoming, soon as me and my husband entered they quickly greeted us and was very friendly. I rate my entire 5 nights stay a 4/5 only because during the day if u were sleeping in or just relaxing you can hear everything going on outside if the people are being loud that includes kids stomping around. Aside from that everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very clean and all of the staff are so nice. Breakfast was subpar. We stayed 4 nights and they never brought clean towels or fresh linens. The garbage was also a little overflowing, but nobody came to the room to offer any housekeeping. The shower has great water pressure, but not very hot water, and there is black mold on the ceiling and some of the stainless steel. All of this would be ok if the beds were comfortable. These are the very worst mattresses that I have ever slept on. They are uncomfortably firm, and are sitting on a metal frame that creeks when you move. ALL NIGHT LONG!! The people above us had kids on roller scares and running back and forth until midnight and you hear every sound. We will never stay here again mainly because it was 4 nights of the worst sleep we have ever gotten.

Love the location. It’s near so many restaurants and shops. It’s right off the interstate and easy to find. The room we stayed in was huge. It had a microwave and a refrigerator. Score!

Descent place

The free breakfast was nice. Bed and pillows were not so great. The room did feel clean and the shower was nice and roomy.

The staff was very friendly and property was clean it was just very out dated and breakfast didn’t have much variety

I would consider this a MOTEL, not a hotel. Pool located near room, was noisier than I liked. Bed was not comfortable and property is "dark" more lighting would be safe for walking. Breakfast wasn't terrible; eggs, sausage. I would not stay here again.

Dog friendly which was the most important for us

Noone at front desk both times I went to lobby area. Reservation not in system. TV did not work. Phone in room and lamp didn’t work. Said they would take care of issues and/or move us to another room, but no follow up. Hotel is run down and staff lacking CSR skills.

Location is excellent for shopping and restaurants. It is however close to busy roads and can get a bit noisy.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the breakfast was pretty bad and the coffee was horrible. The liquid half and half was lumpy, so I'm pretty sure it was no good. Who knows when that was changed last

Overall good Hotel

Better than expected. Bed was super comfy. Needed a one night stay plus it included breakfast which my husband enjoyed!!

The room was dirty and unfortunately the door was loosely fitted on the frame allowing cold air from outside to seep in.

We were disappointed that breakfast didn’t include eggs even though the bacon was crisp and tasty. The orange juice was watery, more like cool aid.

The remodel is in full swing. Still has work to go, but I can see the improvement already.

The beds have a metal base that move around on the floor and the springs make so much noise at the slightest movement It keeps you awake all night. When we got to the breakfast that was included, it was all cold, not heated, even though it was the beginning of the breakfast time. I can say the room was clean and the shower was wonderful. That was the highlight.
