Parking was good and convenient and reasonably priced. TV options were basically local channels, for the room price there should be some premium offered. The room and bed was very comfortable pillows were great.

Booked this room months ago to go to a concert. I went to check in and was told they oversold rooms so those who used a third party got bumped to a different hotel. Now, instead of walking a safe path to the hotel, we ended up going through construction and walking late by ourselves. As a female traveler, I carefully choose spaces to stay and will pay extra to be safe… being sent to a cheaper hotel in a not as lighted area is not what I’m looking for, if it was, I would have booked there. I travel quite a bit and this hotel is now on my no list as they don’t seem to care about female safety.

And for the price you can not beat it or maybe i got lucky that day that the price was affordable. But 5 star is an understatement for this place. Good job to all the staff members and kudos to you for this wonderful place that you have here and the way you run it and is maintained. Defenetly will stay here again in the near future since it seems that work will bring me back to arizona.

This hotel is beautiful and clean, with tons of fun options nearby for entertainment. I stayed here for my birthday and to attend a comedy show and it was a wonderful trip, the venue was directly next door within walking distance and made for a seamless peaceful vacation

We're your average married couple with 2 children. We were very well accommodated in the dining area; having a stroller and a toddler... needless to say, we will most likely stay here again. :)

Everything was easily accessible! The one thing that was missing in the room was a hair dryer and the ice machine was not working on our floor #7.

I was pleasantly surprised with how attentive the staff were. We were given free check-out and received 2 free breakfasts with our reservation - and really enjoyed breakfast at the Desert Sage restaurant. There's also a view of the gorgeous courtyard from the restaurant which had an oasis feel to it, along with hanging ambience lighting and a fireplace for cool evenings. The lobby had a bar and lots of areas to sit and enjoy the space and just relax. There was a DJ playing at the bar on Friday night. This is a wonderful hotel to stay at to enjoy all the shopping and dining available nearby at Westgate Entertainment District and Tanger outlets. It is also right next to Cardinals Stadium, so you can pretty much walk to the game. We will definitely go back to The Renaissance Marriott Hotel.

A beautiful hotel a 5 minute walk to the Desert Diamond Arena.

We really loved the room it was clean and comfortable. The overall stay was good except for there was some confusing parts. When we checked out they didn't give us a ticket to use at the garage so we had trouble getting out of the garage without our room key and it seemed like a big ordeal to just get out of the parking. Obviously you need a room key to be in or out and they charge you for parking you think it would be standard when you're checking out and turning in room keys that they would have you keep one or give you a ticket to get out. The other thing is is they gave us $15 off a meal during our stay or so I thought. We went to breakfast the next morning before we checked out and the waitress said we could just put it to the room and then we get our $15 off but then the front desk person said we would have had to use it the night before which didn't make sense or stay was from 4:00 p.m. the night before until 11:00 a.m. that morning and we used our breakfast voucher before 11:00 a.m. and before we checked out. She went ahead and gave me the $15 off but she said that that was not customary. I'm still very confused. However the staff was very kind and nice and overall we did enjoy our stay.

It was good, the rooms, clean and everything looks new, the only thing is the restaurant few options and it says it has three restaurants but it actually has the coffee shop and the other two are the same thing, but other than that everything excellent and allot of things to do around the property

When I got home, I noticed they overcharged me for food and parking, I called to clarified that both charges were mistakes, they said they’d look into it and would get back to me. I had to debate with them. Because of these reasons, I would not recommend the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale & Spa.

This hotel must have been recently remodeled, as everything seemed new. It is a beautiful spacious hotel. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I would stay here again. It does seem like it might be a hotel geared towards business people, as there is only one restaurant. The bar food and restaurant food was excellent.

Perfect location when attending an event. Plan ahead and get to a restaurant or bar quick after a concert or event. The hotel bar was super kind and stayed open later just for us because we were too late for all other bars and restaurants in the area. We were super grateful. Amazing staff and room was beautiful.

I emailed with a manager a few weeks prior to my arrival knowing that my husband had a broke Ankle and would need extra resources. Based on the emails I was confident she had our needs taken care of but when we arrived they did not have an ada room attached to a second room for our children. It was one or the other. The staff was nice but I let them know I was disappointed given that I specifically took care of talking to someone aboht our needs. I didnt want to be disconnect from our kids and chose tue walk in shower with a shower chair. They said theyd bring the shower chair right then. We went to an event came back ans no chair. Had to call and request it. And then ijbthe bathroom we found a cockroach.

We were disappointed by the room, even though we stayed at executive suite it was a disappointment. To start we arrived at night, there are homeless sleeping outside the door, security took 10 minutes to let us in the door since it was locked. The front desk lady was rude and the room lacked basic necessities, they had two tiny water bottles and that was it! The phones were down so you cant call anyone for anything. Overpriced and not worth it, the hotels around it are better, trust me!

The property is nice and bed was comfortable. The bar in main lobby was out of control. The bartenders served one side at a time and it took approximately 30 to even order our drinks. It took another 30 minutes before we received them. When closing out the check, the bartender put my credit card in his pocket and forgot when I had to ask where my tab was. He denied having my card and I was about to come over the bar when he finally discovered it in his back pocket. Then it took another 25 minutes to get our bill. Needless to say he received zero tip as that side of the bar was all treated horribly by the bar staff. If I stay here again, I will not try the bar in the lobby again.

Restaurants service was terrible. A sold out hotel for a Thursday night football game and 1 server serving six small tables (less than 1/4 of the restaurant). We chose the room because of its location to the stadium. We do not recommend nor will we stay again.

The Valet was both efficient and convenient, but it was also quite expensive. However, the internet was not complimentary, which was problematic when there were children present in the room. Restaurants in the vicinity are dilapidated, and the Lions Closet and BWW provided exceedingly poor service. The Bodega adjacent to the hotel was also deplorable and costly.

Great hotel. Would have given a 10 but I tried to check in at 1:23pm and was told my room was ready but because it was before 2pm it would be a $100 change to check in before 2pm. I waited till 2pm and they texted me that my room was ready and I could check in. Really??? Training opportunities. Nice hotel tho. Staff was nice and attentive

You are charged to park at the hotel, although the listing indicates 'parking available' it does not state FOR A FEE ($20 self parking PER DAY/$26 valet per day). Breakfast not included, but for another FEE, absolutely! OH, yes, almost forgot, you get a SERVICES FEE of another $35 for the privilege of staying there, which I guess you you may get $15 OFF purchases at the hotel when charged to the room!? I believe that's what I understood. Although convenient for the stadium, I think next time we'll stay across Glendale Avenue and Uber to the stadium.

Wonderful staff. Friendly and interactive with visitors making the experience a more enjoyable event. This location offers a traveler an array of convenient options for dining, shopping, and activities which was a plus for the multiple events happening the same weekend. The bed was awful. We found things from previous guests. Our plugs on the nightstand did not work nor did our refrigerator

My shower door would not stay closed, so I had to try and hold it closed with my foot while showering as to not cover the entire bathroom with water.

Check in was seamless and the property is beautiful with plenty to do on site as well as within walking distance. The tv has a YouTube and Netflix app and we were unable to use both due to connection issues.

2- There was a massive fight on my floor during Saturday evening/Sunday morning resulting in police being called and man being physically injured. While not the hotel's fault, the lack of expressed concern or even a cursory amenity offered to the rest of the floor was lame. 3-Why is there no microwave in the room? Popcorn would make being kept awake from loud, drunken violence slightly more tolerable

The hotel and stay was so nice, we wanted to extend our stay another day, but unfortunately, all of the regular rooms were booked. You definitely get what you pay for.

Clean, spacious rooms, large gym, nice large pool and it’s new. The entertainment district next to the hotel had a ton of food options and fun places like Dave and Busters, Pickleball facility and more.

The AC must have had an issue because the room became warmer as the evening progressed. Wasn’t hot, but wasn’t cold as you would expect. We asked for someone to look at it while we went to dinner but when we called the desk upon our return we were told it didn’t look like anyone had. Finally we asked to be moved to a different room. Asia at front desk was helpful. She also added two breakfast vouchers. But when we called in morning to front desk to order there was no way to transfer or call restaurant and we had to go in person. No room service too which is odd for a large property. Last, we had asked for late checkout and was given 12:00 immediately upon checking in. Twice between 11-11:40 (we finally just left) this morning housekeeping knocked and had no idea. Eh…lots of hotels in the area with breakfast buffets, ice cold AC and courtesy to let a late checkout customer relax…next time I’ll know.

We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Glendale for a concert weekend and had a great experience. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, perfect for cooling off and hanging out before the show. The hotel has a fun, concert-friendly vibe, and the staff was super friendly and helpful the entire time. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated being walking distance to both the stadium and great restaurants—it made the whole weekend so easy and stress-free. The only downside was the view from our room wasn’t the best, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it. We’d definitely stay here again for any event in the area!

Beautiful property, the staff was wonderful from front desk to bar to the restaurant, my only issue with property was I feel the glass doors on the outside of the room felt cheap in that it let way to much outside noise in.

Great location and beautiful hotel. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 was the service in the restaurant. It was slow and one meal everyone was given their meal except me. When it FINALLY arrived, part of the order was missing. And the rest of my table had already finished eating! I feel that I shouldn’t have been charged for my meal.

It was updated from the minute you walk in from the time you go to your room. It was very nice. I would highly recommend it and I’m very picky regarding our hotels that we stay in and we do travel a lot.

Friendly staff, clean room, excellent atmosphere

The room was properly cleaned daily and the consumables restacked very well each day. The room was quiet. We loved the AC system as it was effective, yet relatively quiet and the stream of cold air was not oriented directly toward us. The restaurants' service was prompt and the prices were affordable, although we found the food variety to not be too diverse. However, with the mall right across the street, there are plenty of dining alternatives in the area.

I loved this property. I’ve stayed at other hotels before and this one by far is the absolute BEST! It was neat clean and organized! The staff was amazing from the hotel to the bar to the restaurants!

The front desk staff was so pleasant. I was offered a nice balcony room so it was nice sitting out viewing city lights. We were too warm in our room and they had a box fan to our room within 5 minutes. The pool was clean and nicely warm, the grandkids had a lot of fun. We will choose this as our Glendale hotel from now on.

I had eye surgery so I had to take an Uber to the PEO convention. I was unable to drive at night. When I went out to get an Uber to go home they were not allowing cars into the driveway of the hotel so I had to walk a half a mile to get a Uber. I am 80 years old felt very unsafe at in that area pretty disgusted.

A bit disappointed with the room! Very bare bones! Bathroom was nice though…it was more the living room area of the suite

Suite #1017. The only phone in the suite was dead, totally inoperative. The bathroom was TINY with only One sink. We NEVER want to stay in this room again.

Our room was 918, great view, very clean room! My only small complaint is the coffee maker and the fridge, we aren’t huge coffee drinkers, the time called for it but the appliance was dirty. The mini-fridge ability to finally chill my single bottle of water was mediocre and the entire space around it was very warm.

Great location within walking distance of restaurants etc. Super nice staff. Only complaint would be the bed. Very firm, not luxurious like other hotels.

I had a nice rest with the comfortable bed. Good quality with food service. I also used the gym and pool.

Check in was poor. The person said I can't check you in now as the phone is on hold. Then the keys did not work. She said the machine had problems. The coffee pot maker was missing the basket for coffee. The food received was not the order. Parking was hard. They said it was a new process. Not impressed.

Everything was great. All the staff were nice and helpful. The bartender Dan is very good at his job! The 2 things that I wish I had known before booking the room is that there was a $20 per night parking fee as well as a $25 plus tax per night destination fee.

Parking was expensive but it was very convenient

Lovely spot

AC and refrigerator didn't work. Mantinence brought another fridge and that one broke as well. Manager said she would come up and take a look at both and never showed up. Asked just to be moved to another room and they refused and distracted my daughter being able to relax during her dance convention because of having people in and out of the room and AC not working when she comes up to cool off and daughter has special dietary needs and food was ruined in fridge due to 2 fridges not working. Constantly having to wait for people coming up to room or waiting to see if going to be changed to a different room and waiting for calls and texts on what they were going to do and having to be focusing on that instead of enjoying our stay.
