The shower door did not seal. And there was a problem with the main door. Food was great. Staff was pleasant. Conveniently located but a lot of construction traffic

Room was dirty. Missing bedding. Broken glass on the floor. Dirty foot prints and pubic hair on the pull out couch. None of the toiletries were stocked and the pool was shut down.

We have stayed here several times for trips to Kings Dominion. As always it is a great hotel that gives us what we need.

Kind and friendly desk clerks. Good breakfast, spacious rooms, clean. Directly cross from a sports facility we attended for a high school graduation. The lil lows were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable.

I like that the rooms are spacious and clean. It us located 3 minutes from my mom's house and near shopping strip malls. The breakfast is good and the pool was good as well. Im just sorry there are no smoking rooms or pet policy.

The check in representative was kind and I courteous. She went the extra mile to make sure a room was ready early as possible. The other staff was not enthused or friendly. My refrigerator did not work so my food went bad. I tried to save it with ice. I had to use my own shampoo and body wash because they were not refilled. I found a bloody plug of hair when I pulled my covers back. Previous tenant items were still in my room. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast was very good. Fresh Waffles bagels muffins danishes eggs sausages juices and coffee and cereal and yogurt. Found a green face towel hanging over shower curtain rod and a short left on a hanger in closet and a half eaten chocolate bar in the freezer. Sofabed mattress was dirty and marked up and no sheet available to cover it with. Beds were comfortable and clean.

Check in only one room available we had booked 3 rooms. They put us in one room til the other was ready by 6 pm. Very inconvenient unprofessional but quick to take your money . Next day at around 1am after graduation front desk woman was very rude unfriendly she made our stay that much worse due to walking in from parking lot with smell of weed all thru 5th floor. Breakfast was horrible microwaved food which I could have done in my room. Elevator dirty and smelly. Seems like they do not sanitize the place at all due to overwhelming smell of marijuana. Front desk needs to hire people with class and etiquette with friendly attitude. I wanted a refund for not having my rooms ready and making me pay for waiting but the front desk guy seemed like he was high and not know what he was doing. Pool and spa was very dirty. Only the cleaning guy was friendly he made the place smell clean when he was there and he gave us clean towels sheets with a friendly attitude which made us tolerate the rest of the stay. Front desk and breakfast staff they are not up to standards. Seems like the manager has no high standards for the price they charge. Not worth it and they don’t deserve the cleaning guy he is the one who made our stay better .

May 14th front desk guy seemed lost not professional. Next day evening the Front desk woman had bad attitude who worked on the 15th of May . If you want to get high on second hand smoke on weed with your family kids etc then it’s the place to be because that’s all you will inhale at this place.one of my vehicles got hit by another vehicle a work truck on Friday morning the 15th and front desk morning staff was no help did not bother to even call cops to help report the incident or even write the incident up themselves to acknowledge it. We know it was a work truck because that is where we parked beside a white work truck. If you like to park a block away because of no parking then it’s the place to check in. If you like to check in and wait 3 hrs for your room to be ready at 7pm instead of 4pm because rooms not being ready then it’s the spot for you. If you like your whole family being in separate floors it’s the spot to be in. I checked in on May 14th at 4 pm had to wait for a room in lobby from a long trip they told me to wait due to no rooms ready and I got a room a few hrs later. Next morning the cleaning guy was very helpful he did accommodate us with clean towels sheets etc. very friendly and fast service. Front desk night staff sucks. Breakfast is nothing but microwave sausage and gravy is gross and eggs overcooked with lots of black pepper, the pictures about breakfast on advertisement is false. Yes, the hotel switched us to another room, but once you find bed bugs, the damage is done. Instead of enjoying the weekend, we spent the rest of the trip stressed about our luggage, clothes, and possibly bringing bugs home with us. Travelers coming for events at the Henrico Sports & Event Center should think twice and inspect everything before unpacking. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum.

For the ratings this hotel receives, I was extremely surprised by the poor conditions. The room smelled. The bathroom was dirty and in disrepair. Visible Black mold in the shower.

The property could use a deep cleaning. The stairways were filthy. The bed skirt needed to be cleaned. There were stains all over the wall. The bed was comfortable and the staff were attentive.

We stayed for 2 nights in a king suite. We enjoyed the pool twice however we did see a cockroach in the pool room crawling out of the grates- we did not see any bugs in our room though. The front desk staff woman was not helpful at all- she sat at the desk on the phone with a friend every time we saw her. There was a water dispenser in the lobby that was 100% within view of this woman. The water dispenser was empty 75% of the time when we were entering/exiting the hotel. I even asked her if there was a way to get more water, and she directed me to the water fountain down the hall rather than refilling the water dispenser. She seemed very lazy and uninterested in helping anyone.

The room and hotel facilities were clean. We enjoyed the breakfast. There were many construction workers parked there but there was still enough parking available.

I had to ask 3 times for the pull out beds sheet to be changed in which it was never done. We did get moved to another room how we both toilets did not want to flush. When I let Front desk know she stated it was could be because if it’s about to rain there’s sometimes plumbing issues. Toilet of course would not flush the next morning after using it and maintenance had to come up with a snake to snake it. Spoiled milk was served at breakfast

Location Not enough handicap parking spaces. I had to park a long distance away with an orthopedic disability. I was also told the pool closed at 10pm so I was unable to get my aqua exercise done when I returned to the hotel. I later found out a group of people were allowed to use the facility after hours.

Went for breakfast and every table was dirty and the food counter. Worker was too busy on her phone and eating in the kitchen. Workers from the construction site are housed here and parking is crazy. We’ve stayed here many times but now it’s time to find a new place. Area has gotten well overdeveloped.

Hot tub had 1 inch of scum around the edge, stains on the furniture, food under the bed, blood in the light switch, hair in the sink, smelled like cigarettes.

The towels, bathroom, and sheets were clean, but the room was kind of old looking and dirty. The floors were not clean and the couch in the sitting area of my room had dog hair all over it. The outlets in the wall were too loose to hold my chargers and some of them, including the lamps did not even work. The breakfast with mediocre at best. The overall cleanliness of the hotel from the lobby to my room was dirty and busted looking. I was traveling by myself so it wasn’t that big of a deal, but I would never bring my family to stay there.

The room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good (staff not real helpful), the jacuzzi was perfect. My only issue was there was a fair amount of mold build up in the shower behind the fixtures and there was nothing to hold the shower head in place. Ac was hard to control.

This is a nice area surrounded by restaurants. The room was clean. The hot tub was dirty around the edges but they had cleaned it by our second night. Breakfast was basic eggs, sausage, biscuits. The front concrete was dirty in front of the hotel. Staff was nice.

The hotel is what it is, an affordable option off 95 and very convenient to the Henrico sports complex. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. However the property just feels older and breakfast was average.

This has become my favorite room/hotel. The jetted tub is beyond amazing. Just a suggestion you could add small bottles of bubble bath in the jetted rooms. Will be back very soon. I stayed in the room 3 times now.

I only stayed 2 but they should have seen thr amonites requeat on door. Location This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Traveling with my children made it even more upsetting. From the start, we were placed in the wrong room with no sofa, despite that being what we booked. Even after being moved, the front desk continued to insist I booked a different room type. The room was clearly not cleaned. There was a sex toy left in plain sight, which is completely unacceptable, especially with children present. The pull-out sofa mattress was heavily soiled, there were no blankets provided, and it was unusable. The bed mattress itself was also very hard and poor quality, making it difficult to get any real rest. The bathroom was just as bad. The shower looked like it was falling apart, with the vinyl just sitting on top of the shower pan. My kids were so uncomfortable they didn’t even want to shower. We ended up laying a towel down in the shower just to feel okay using it because the cleanliness of the hotel was so questionable. While the staff was polite, the situation was not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. For the price we paid, this experience was unacceptable and far below even basic standards.

Some wear and tear around the edges mainly in the bathroom. A ripped wood flooring plank in the living room wasn’t ascetically pleasing.

They didn’t have any towels for the pools. We had to use our shower towels and when we asked for new shower towels, we were told they didn’t have any. That was very frustrating when you have kids playing sports and then in the pool. They need towels.

Three night stay at this hotel. We had to have them redo our key card twice two of the days and as it stopped working. Checked in to find no tissues in bathroom, two towels and two bottles of conditioner only. We had to ask for towels and even then were only given two. Left sign out requesting maid service and not once during three nights received it. Breakfast was awful. Waffle mix was mostly water. Water leaked all over counter from waffle makers and wasn’t cleaned up until several guests helped eachother. Eggs and weird sausage in one heated container and only white gravy in the other. Biscuits never came which can be assumed should be there. The single staff member we saw the entire time was nice and enjoying her seat in the corner on her phone.

Booked a couple times for a more personal self moment. However they had groups of both children and elder guests. The environment was spacious for us all pretty well kept free breakfast. Hospitable staff indoor pool I would rate it one of my favorite hotels for now in va. I would say stay affordable on prices cause it will make money anyway with real live customers like myself willing to let other travelers know. I would give 10 out of 10 easy check in in on mobile app (hotels) free parking, family and personal setting as well as romantic and relaxing or corporate, relaxing. I myself a Jacuzzi suit in 2 different times. Same vibe both time from Philadelphia

Night lady wasn’t welcoming at all. One of the elevator wasn’t working properly, traveling from the 2nd, to 1st floor and back to 2nd without opening the door, staying stuck without response for a minute and moving after pushing the same button 5 times etc. Breakfast disappointing. I don’t understand the great reviews of this place.

It was centrally located near to restaurants and had EV charging stations. I arrived early in the morning, coming from Florida. And my appointment was listed as a “no show.”

With volleyball tournament going on and there is an early start. They should move the breakfast start time earlier.

I was only there to sleep and left early the next morning. The ladies at check in at 11:45 were very nice. The ladies making breakfast were also very nice. Clean room, tasty breakfast, safe facility. That’s all I needed!

I didn't enjoy this very short stay. The room was not cleaned and we arrived at 10:30 pm. There was a sock and water bottle tops on the floor. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on the soap dispensers in the shower. The floor was peeling. It wasn't very appealing.

When they found out I had book through Expedia, they were even more hateful.

When I checked in they told me that the King room I had reserved two weeks earlier was konlonger available and we had to deal with a queen setup. Room was clean but older and not kept up. All drains wouldn’t drain, tub and sink. Overall not a great experience

We had a clean and comfortable room, although no soap in our bathroom. Loved the eating area for breakfast. It was large, quiet, and aesthetically pleasing. The food area was not cramped or too close to tables.

The Staff member at check-in was cold and unwelcoming. There was no greeting, no smile, and the interaction made it feel as though we were bothering her rather than being welcomed as guests. When we entered the room, the cleanliness was clearly below standard. The floor was sticky, there were dried alcohol on the nighstand, and there were hairs around the toilet. After taking the shower, condensation on the bathroom mirror revealed writing said « that room smells like hot dog water » We were too tired to request a room change late at night, so we stayed anyway. However, the condition of the room and the reception experience were both well below ehat we could reasonably expect from a hotel.

When I got there to check in the front desk person must’ve been having a bad day and was not very welcoming. After checking in it took over five minutes for us to get an elevator because only one was operational. Once we got to our floor, it reeked of marijuana. Our room while clean was very outdated and had a musty smell. The Wi-Fi was down the entire stay. I can honestly say this was the first stay in a hotel where I was looking forward to checking out.

Great Location , the poo smelt so bad of chlorine we had to wash the kids when we got to the room it was so bad. My daughter the next day had little bumps on her sholder think the chlorine was way to hi. Couldent get the Ac to shut off. It would turn off and then turn back on after a while . So we basickly froze froze. Told the staff at front desk and what we got for a answer was : oh thanks we will have it checked and walked away.

The front desk staff was nonexistent at night. We were in town for a wedding and when we got back to the hotel we needed towels and wash cloths. They never came out to the desk, answered their bell on the desk, answered the phone from the room, or any calls to the hotel number. In the morning we tried calling back down to the desk. They never answered the phone and we watched them hid in the back to keep from helping guest.

We arrived late had to check out at 4 A.M., so we didn't get to try the pool or the complimentary breakfast -- two reasons we booked the Hilton. But, what we did experience was grand. Thank you, staff and housekeeping!

Check-in was quick, efficient, and staff were very courteous during our stay! Our room was nice, spacious, and very clean (2 queen beds) We enjoyed our stay and the location was very convenient. The pool and hot tub were also nice and everything was well kept. The free continental breakfast was well stocked and they kept everything clean and refilled throughout the morning.

The room was spacious and comfy, but the hair dryer broke and they first told us there wasn't one in the entire hotel we could use. They did come through with a replacement after 2 attempts at the desk in person and one phone call. The shampoo and conditioner were decent, though there was a thick, dark hair on the bottle (not ours) when we arrived. Water got to a good temp for showers. Breakfast was about what you would expect. Cereal, muffins, breads. The hot food came out in batches just after 7am. Eggs were powdered and sausage were sort of flavorless links I have seen at many chains. The coffee was really watered down but pretty typical of hotel breakfast. All in all, we wouldn't recommend.

The setup of the suite was very nice with a sitting/entry area, a separate bedroom, and a short passage in between where the kitchenette (fridge, microwave, and a long countertop with storage underneath) and the bathroom were situated. I also thought it was nice that there were TVs in both the sitting area and the bedroom. There were a few minor things amiss in the room: the phone line didn't work, which meant you had to walk down to the front desk for anything you needed; the light in the kitchenette area was out, making it difficult to see; and the toilet seemed unusually low. Our stay was a few days after a snowstorm and the parking lot was not cleared, which made for a treacherous trip back and forth to your car. Thankfully the covered loading area right outside the entrance was clear and salted. As a family that uses handicap parking, this is where we had to park. A nice surprise was that the continental breakfast was actually better than expected. There were a couple of hot dishes and a waffle maker available each day in addition to the usual continental breakfast fare. Overall it was a comfortable stay at a reasonable rate. I would stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights but Housekeeping never came to check towels, pickup trash or anything. Checkout, clerk never spoke a single word. My last choice for future stays in Richmond.

While the room was fairly clean, the actual hotel is pretty dirty. The entire floor smelled like weed. The breakfast was fairly standard, no complaints. Overall I would not be back because of the dirtiness.

One of the rooms we rented kept having the key lock us out. The key has to be replaced two different times for an overnight stay. The beds were comfortable. The two queen bed rooms were missing the shampoo and conditioner. Even though the rooms was set to 66 degrees it still seemed warm. I did like the additional seating areas and the fact the bedrooms had actual doors that can be closed.

I have had to go to target because I'm traveling and I don't have any other place to stay and I refuse to spend another dollar on a hotel. I went and bought bleach and Mr. clean to try to clean it. I should not have to do that if I've paid for a hotel room I'm afraid to see what the bed looks like.

I had a great stay because the bed was so comfy and the rooms were large! I will definitely stay again! I loved this hotel.. the only thing that happened was there was an electrical burning smell coming from the TV in the living room. I did report it to the front desk incase it is a fire hazard.

I checked into the hotel that is the highest available with the Jedi tub in the room. Upon checking in the hotel room, the couch was dirty, the counters, especially the one by the bedroom bed, was dirty. It actually had a spell on it. And the one thing that I was looking forward to the tub was unclean. I stayed here previous times and honestly, they have been good but over the last few years things have been going downhill. It’s sad to see because this used to be my favorite kid away in the city. I don’t think I’ll come back unless I have to. I know CleAnn staff has a lot of rooms to clean in a little bit of time, but you definitely need to make sure that the quality does not change.

Poor room maintenance. The spring bed was worst and seems very old. I did not get good sleep. The breakfast was average and not that great quality of paper plates and plastic tumblers.

The hotel is out dated. But that doesn’t mean that the staff can’t clean the rooms better. Dust and dirt build up in the air conditioning unit, bathroom was half way cleaned. Dust in the ceiling and the room smelled like old dust and smoke. You get what you pay for so I’m not upset.

Plus the chair in the room was so stained we had to turn the cushion over.

Generally the room was very clean, the staff were helpful and courteous, and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good as well. The laminate wood flooring in our room did show signs of slight water damage (especially near the refrigerator), but otherwise the room was nicely kept.

We had reserved a King. There wasn't one available on our arrival. We were offered a King accessible on the first floor. We refused and accepted a double on the third floor. The bedroom and bathroom area was adequate. The so called sofa bed area was dismal. We got up early and were happy to leave despite the “free breakfast”. We won’t book this brand again.

In town on business, super quick and easy check in and out. Clean, spacious room, breakfast was included and is always a plus. All around a great stay. Recommend!

Room repairs have not been done very well, the shower head was tilted and almost falling out of the ceiling. While the room did smell nice and clean, it looked dirty- especially in the corners and in the bathroom. The bed even had someone else’s hair in it. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows do not offer much support- asked the front desk for more pillows and was told, without them even getting up, that they didn’t have any. The elevators are sketchy, squeaky, and jolty. Breakfast was a decent selection compared to many other hotels, just tasted kind of old/stale. They also refused to give an early check out (something happened and we had to leave a day early and were out before 4p) so they would not check us out until the original reserved check out time the next day. They did not refund deposit or anything at all. Overall was definitely not worth the price paid and we will not be back, there is another hotel that shares the same parking lot, that one may be better, it definitely seemed more busy.

It took very long , first the lady was in the phone in a private call we have to wait around 15’ there then when she gave me the key she told me she don’t have the room that I reserved so she gave me a handicap room horrible mattered horrible bathroom tab all scratched I when to tell her and she was kind and change my room for the one. That she had left in another floor still wasn’t the deluxe king bed suite that I requested .. I don’t know why the offering room that they don’t have available . Never again here .. this was my second time staying here but after this I won’t stope again . This was very disappointing

We had a delayed flight and I called to check in after 12:30 am. They held the room and 3 employees were happily waiting. ( Granted 1 was in training but one remembered our 4 AM check out last week. Since we got to take advantage of all amenities this time, I still highly recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, hallways, elevators, nice pool for laps, good breakfast choices, huge room, comfy bed and pillows, good room temperature, gym with all you need for balanced work out.

No one was at the desk when we arrived. Waited around 10 mins before someone showed up to check us in. Room was dirty. Had food crumbs all over end table, floor and pull out sofa. There were no linens for the pull out sofa and when we asked for them we were given a pile of pillow cases, no sheets, no blanket and no pillow, just pillow cases. Lost power to half of the room and no one was able to fix it. Was told we could either deal with it until maintenance came in the morning or check out. We weren't able to charge our devices, watch TV or have any lights in the bedroom all night. We stayed 2 nights, no one ever came to clean the room or restock toiletries the entire time. Had to keep going to the desk for tp, tissues etc. Overall a terrible stay with awful customer service.

I liked the 2 queen bed and sofa suite. The microwave and refrigerator could have been more steadied. Both were very shakey when using. The handle in bath tub should be at the other end of the tub.

Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever been in. Couch had stains , smoke burns, ashes. The shower floor was so dirty I wore my sandals like it was a rest stop bathroom. Woke up at 5am and left and slept in my car.

We had to leave early and did not try breakfast - our room wasn't ready and we got upgraded - the lady at the front desk was very helpful, and the upgrade still fit our needs perfectly. We were happy with our stay, and may stay again soon. We visited for my husband's surgery at the VA hospital, and we were informed that Choice Hotels offers help to Veterans under these conditions. We intend to check into this for our next stay.

Hot Tub was clean

They didn't give us the correct room when we first checked in. We booked a double queen suite, but they gave us a studio king which was kind of a bummer because it meant I had to share the bed with my mother. When I asked them to fix it , they said they had no more rooms even though I made my reservation over a month ago. The next morning , the manager moved us to the correct room , which didn't really make a whole lot of sense , because if they didn't have the room the night before , how come at nine a m , they had it available? Maybe somebody checked out really early? Still, it was pretty upsetting because I paid extra to have 2 Queen.Beds. The only other compensation that I was given for the mistake was that they said I could have late checkout the next day. The food was decent for breakfast. Good hot choices. I got really sick from food poisoning, though, not from their breakfast just to be clear but from a wedding I was attending there in Virginia so I really did use that late checkout , because I was super super sick. Front desk manager was very friendly.

We only needed a place to sleep as we left very early so can not comment on breakfast, pool, or gym. However our room was spacious, bed very comfortable, lots of pillows, towels, clean, quiet. Parking lot quite full. Near lots of shopping.

Clean room, hot and cold breakfast

We stayed for two nights with 3 children visiting Kings Dominion. We arrived late the first night (to late too tired to inspect room). Bathroom only had 4 towels and had water damage on ceiling. Bathtub drained slow while showering in backed up water. Fridge leaked water out both morning's?! Room filter had dirt caked on the outside & smelled of faint old cig smoke. Pullout sofa was very dirty and stained. We will not be back with our children.

The hotel itself with all the facilities is truly excellent but I must mention one severe disappointment. When we checked into this otherwise perfect and beautiful room there was urine still in the toilet bowl not flushed and there were two towels that have been troubled up and used and still remaining in the bathroom. I brought this to the attention of the nice lady on duty and she came up immediately and cleaned the toilet seat and the toilet and took the items away. The hotel is still four Star and this never happened in all my years of travel but it happened here. Responsibility lies with the one charged with preparing the room for guests but this was a one-off event and I would still highly highly recommend this very beautiful hotel with a great breakfast despite the one off event described above.

Coffee was awful. It was coffee flavored water. Room was nice but smelled like mildew. There were no cleaning wipes in the gym to wipe down equipment before and after use.

Lighting cold white not warm and cozy. Bottle filler in gym broken or empty. Tub draining slowly. Nothing terrible just not quite as nice as other reviews made it sound. At check was told our room (suite) was not cleaned/ready. The front desk person asked me to wait while she checked to see the condition of the suite. At that point we requested refund. This hotel said we can not cancel.

Clean and spacious rooms. Staff was great to my family. Our room was right next to the pool so my family had great access and made them excited. Staff overlooked breakfast so you felt like they cared about your dinning and made sure there was plenty of food. Hot tub had jets a blasting so it made it great while the kids played in the pool. Great stay and we'll be back for sure. 10% discount to texas road house was a great touch as well. Good job guys

The jacuzzi tub leaked and we had to clean up a puddle of water two times from the jacuzzi tub I'm the bed Head bed bugs it was not a very good stay as a matter of fact I checked out at 4:45 maybe in the morning so I didn't even stay there the bugs woke me up eating me up

Great hotel with clean pool and hot tub. Underdeveloped area, so extra quiet at night. Some guest children run the halls around midnight and a room had some guests arguing and kids yelling. But minus that it is definitely a clean hotel that I would go back to again.

I’ll start this review as a warning…. Our bathroom tub had mildew that was discovered that night when I stepped in the tub to shower…. I tried cleaning with a rag (as shown in my photos) but there was just too much… When we checked out I politely addressed it with the desk staff and her response was “yes, it needs to be redone”… well, if you knew that room needed to be redone b/c of mildew in bathroom then why did you rent it??? Just unacceptable.. we slept since it was already late and we had unpacked our entire car and ready for rest. We got up and left immediately.. Comfort Suites should be ashamed.

Kids ran up and down hall slamming and opening doors all night untill about 3 am. No shampoo in bathroom hot tub was dirty. Hot tub turned on and off on its own hot tub also flooded the he bathroom twice. Motor kept running loudly and wouldn't shut off after drained and malfunctioned. Room was not the cleanliest dirt trash and mildew in fridge. No information about location of anything in the hotel of what was scheduled. Hotel would not except my discount points during payment and for all of the issues still would not compensate me for the inconvenience and aggravation. The only reason I booked that room in particular was the hot tub and it was unusable so why pay extra money for a room when the amenities in it are not functioning correctly.

newer hotel, nice and clean mostly but there was trash from a prior occupant behind the bed and coffee stirrers in the bathroom door jamb where the flooring changed...otherwise it was very nice and quiet, lots of hot water for shower and good breakfast. Wish I had time to use the pool, it looks amazing.

Do not book this hotel, the first room I went into was filthy, the floor had trash all the way throughout the room, the tub had a ring around it and hair, the toilet had poop stain in it, the telephone was greasy and didn't work, the television is definitely outdated. The second room's tub was dirty, brown water stain running down the overflow drain. To me it seems like the cleaning staff is not doing their job. I didn't inspect the room any further, I left . I was told to call the in the morning for the hotel owner S. Patel, she told me that she would refund my money, that she would email expedia. Neither of which did she do. Every time expedia called to get an approval for my refund to be issued, they were told that she was unavailable, in a meeting. That went on for several days. then someone else claiming to be a manager said that they were not refunding my money. All I can say it may be cheap and this is why, you get what you pay for. They will definitely reap what they sow. For the lies and the horrible service.

Everything was great. Being on the 5th floor you did wait for hot water. Maybe to be expected. Room was great, conditioner bottle empty in shower. No big deal. Nightstand light did not work. Took it out of bottom of receptacle and put it in the top. Again no biggie. No towels at pool. Had to go to desk and get some. Pool and hot tub were awesome. I would come back

This property was conveniently located off of 95. The location was set back a bit from the road and quiet. Staff was friendly and check in only took a few minutes.The room we stayed in was a 2 room suite with standard amenities. It had a sepated "living" area with a sofa bed, tv, desk, and chair upon entry. It was separated from the double bedroom by a door. The room was spacious and beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. I did notice a bit of wear on the flooring and a small bit of water damage on the front of the bathroom vanity, but other than those things (which did not negatively impact our stay) the room was clean and everything operated as intended. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive in keeping the area clean and stocked. All in all, I would stay here again.

Spacious room

When we arrived and were given a room, the room had not been cleaned or prepared. We were given another room right away. The coverings on the beds were thin, night blankets or comforters. Location was good and convenient to eating places and the highway.

I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn at Virginia Center Commons. The room was clean, and comfortable. The swimming pool, and Spa Pool were also very nice. The morning breakfast was very good and my companion fealt the offerings were certainly adequate. My only complaints are 1)The smell of the water coming from our bathroom sink faucet was unpleasent with a almost Sulfur smell. This was not a issue with the shower but simply the bathroom sink faucet. It made us hesitant to brush our teeth with it, and we were both completely unwilling to take a quick drink from it upon waking up at night and simply wanting a small glass of water. 2) We were informed the pool closes at 10pm during check-in which obviously is completely fine. The employee who came in to inform us when we were in the pool though not only came in about 5-10 minutes before the 10pm closing to inform us the pool was closed and we needed to leave the facility (it was myself & my partner along with 2 other guests), but what i fealt was somewhat rude was that the employee then proceeded to simply stand there and monitor us as we were drying off and gathering our things. I understand that the employee does need to make sure the Pool is empty/closed by 10pm but my partner for starters did not feel comfortable having someone essentially watching her dry off after the pool and it very much fealt as if we were being treated & monitored like children as opposed to the paying guests that we were. Place was just ok. Nothing in room for pullout sofa and had to get from front desk late at night. Also found 2 cockroaches in room! Good thing we were checking out that morning. Front desk seemed unconcerned and nothing to compensate when paying bill. Breakfast was just ok. Would not stay again

We were in a room with two "queens" and small pullout couch. The room was very spacious with a door separating the bedroom from the sitting area. 2 TVs. Beds were comfortable, but seemed small. I could be wrong, but they seemed smaller than my standard queen at home. The sitting room and bedroom were in good condition and I was pleased I could close the curtains all the way without a gap in the middle. My only complaint was that the thermostat would turn the fan back to auto randomly when I had set it to on. Plus, there were no vents or temp control for the sitting room, so there was no airflow there. The bathroom could have used some fixing up. Some of the faux wood veneer was missing from the shelves under the sink, there was rust colored discoloration on the caulk in the shower, the non slip parts of the bathtub floor were dingy, and there had obviously been water damage on the wall next to the tub because the paint had bubbled and dried and was all flaking off. The coffee maker in the room also didn't work and the bathmat had some black marks on it. Breakfast was decent. They had a waffle maker, sausage, and the scrambled eggs (liquid eggs). There was also yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, cereal (the raisin bran did taste weird), and plenty of carb options (the cinnamon apple muffins were not good). I would stay again, but would hope the other bathrooms were in better condition.

Friendly staff

I booked two rooms for two nights for a business trip and after the first night my employee that has the 2nd room laid the key on the counter when they left to go do the job. When they went back to stay for the 2nd night, after working all day, he couldn't access his room they thought he was checking out and instead of calling the person who booked both rooms together to confirm they still needed both rooms they were left with only one room for a work group they would not refund or give him another room said we would have to pay for another room. This is not customer service we travel over 280 nights a year for business will never book this hotel again. Hotels.com is trying everything they can to have the hotel refund us but no luck so far. The desk staff CW was rude and very unaccommodating and lied and said he asked to be checked out why would he do that if we lived over a thousand miles away and still had work to do

Very dark and needs a through cleaning

The only complaint I have is the coffee… was horrible. The machine makes brown water… I had pressed the dark bold and it barely tasted like coffee.

It’s an older hotel but the water pressure was good. The beds were hard and the breakfast was decent but the area was messy and they were out of so much stuff and then they took forever to fill up the missing food, plates and silverware. It was definitely chaotic, everyone stood downstairs waiting for somebody to help. A decent stay but breakfast and a hard bed made me rethink picking this location for next time.

The horses clean and the room was really nice. Loved the private bedroom

Room was AWESOME! Clean, spacious and cozy. The only issue was the frozen Freezer. The fridge was big enough to place what food we carried but couldn't put all we needed to keep fresh & frozen into the freezer due to the ice build up. Other than that everything else was FABULOUS!

Overall, the hotel was good. Everything in the room was clean. Everything works properly. It was very spacious. Breakfast was fine. Parking was OK. The only really bad thing that I have to say about the state was two times. I had to tell the front desk about the elevator by the pool area, it was always wet and slippery one time. I almost broke my neck The other time my husband almost broke his neck, so they just need to have more. I guess supervision when it comes to cleaning or drying up the area because that is very very dangerous but other than that, I would go back.

The room was extra quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Very nice.

The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The room was spacious. There were stains and gunk on the walls, the couch cushions, and the carpet. The darkening shades do not actually close, and the beds were not very comfortable.

Our room was big enough with 2 beds and nice separate sitting area. They have good breakfast selections. There's lots of good restaurants nearby.

Property was good

The lobby, breakfast and staff were great. The floor we were on had a moldy smell as did our room. The room was spacious but had many spots that just weren't clean. The toilet was peeling. Many mold spots around the tub, what looked like boogers on the wall, shower head was pretty gross. The bottom of the door was peeling apart.

We stayed in a suite and the couch in the room I don't think they changed the sheets for some time they was a mess

My stay was not what I expected. I’ve stay here before but this time it was very disappointing. Mildew on the shower floor and walls. There was a step to get into the stand alone shower. There was mildew on the base off that. Mildew in the bathroom sink. Elevator dirty. Old hard bagels for breakfast. House keeping did not check if we needed anything. The only thing I like was how convenient it was to the softball field that we were there for.

The bed was not as bad as the pillows! They were horrible!!

Breakfast options were good. Hotel was conveniently located. Hotel room was overall clean-there were some signs of wear and tear in the room.

Room had plenty of granite, and felt pretty high end. Breakfast was more than adequate.

We've stayed at this hotel twice over the years and had a positive experience each time. Their breakfast is definitely well above average.

This is usually my go to hotel whenever I want to go to Kings Dominion. Its about 10-13 minutes away, and they are really building the area up. Unfortunately, the building is starting to show its age. Paint chipping in the showers, lights flickering in the bathroom, and it wasn't the cleanest hotel. We asked for another room when we checked in due to all of these problems. The front desk attendant at the time was extremely sweet and helpful (I believe her name was Mary, she's from New York!) She was able to get us into a cleaner room. The price is good for what you get, but they are going to need to do some updating soon. Especially with all of the construction and newer building being built around the hotel.

Smelled like smoke in hallways ! Rooms are clean and comfortable! Great service !

The rooms are dirty and decrepit everywhere you look. When the sun is shining bright, it might look great but inspect closer and it is just bad. Smelled heavily of marijuana but told you cant smoke in your room. Continental breakfast was terrible. Checked out a day early and didnt look back. Linens not changed in beds... literally smudges and goops of brown liquid on the walls. Just overall filthy.

Was right next to the highway and very loud. There was kids running and screaming in the halls all night. The whole place smelled like Marijuana. I called for linens and the front desk asked me to come get them . I will never stay at one agian

The food selection was limited, and the bed comfort was standard.

One day we checked in, we asked for 1 more towel since we had a party of 5. We were told they were out and had none. I asked for bedding for the pull out and was given a sheet. Had to ask for a blanket and pillow. Front desk was not helpful at all. Breakfast was decent though. Air in room kept shutting off at night and room would get hot. Always had to turn back on

Overall amazing experience, however the pool and hot tub were filthy. Murky waters and water visibly dirty.

Great one night stay. Hotel is definitely a bit dated but they have everything you need. Shower is great, beds are great, actual pillows not throws. Breakfast is okay.

Bed was so comfortable. Could not connect to wifi. And there was what appeared to be mold in the shower.
