The property could use a good cleaning hallway carpet looked dirty and room could use some updating. We saw some bugs in the hallway.

So on the second floor there was a huge black trash bag when I checked in at 8PM. The floor had a terrible order. When I went around the corner to my room it smelt horrible. Inside I had a water link and the room smelt of stale moldy water. There was a puddle of water from the dishwasher past the fridge down to the wall. When I went to inform the front desk I was told that was housekeeping's job. They also stated the hotel was full and I could not change rooms. We left for dinner and came back to the same issues. It smelt horrible! There were several large trash bags on the stairwell. The next morning at 7AM I went and purchased air freshener and boiled a nice to sanitize and clear the air. Ireturned the trash was still there. When we left our room again at 10am and the bags were still in place. I went down at 1130 and they were finally removed. The smell however lingered on! I went back to the front desk and inquired about the leak. The maintenance man came up with me and unclogged the dishwasher and said that it happens with old pipes. However the water was still on the floor. And whelp the smell was still there. However when we returned to our room at 4pm the water was now coming up through the floorboards and was white. Yes, we officially had white mold and as you walked through the kitchen it squished! The smell was still lingering. So day 3 and the doors were proped open to the stairwell to air out the smell! And in my room the water had spreadthrough the entire kitchen

None of my appliances worked and the hotel staff could careless.. I got the room for the stove.. Both burns were broke. The ice maker in the fridge was broke & staff told us because we got the room with the kitchenette they couldn't give us ice but would send maintenance who never came.

We switched hotels. On our floor the elevator button didn't work going down so we had to choose up to go down. Before doing so we took the stairs and found stains and mouse traps in the stairwell. The bathroom was not cleaned well at all and the toilet really was in its final days. So many more things to say, but those are the main complaints.

The Hotel located in an industrial development under construction. It is a little hard to find without a GPS. There was no one at the desk when I arrived. When the desk clerk showed up, I thought he must be having a bad day. Not very friendly. Clerk made the point that the hotel did not serve breakfast. The room was clean, large, and the bed was comfortable. I thought the hotel offered good value.

The rooms and the appliances and the fixtures all were barely clean and adequate. Except the location of the hotel (walking distance to the Henrico Center), not a great hotel to stay with family.

When we arrived to check in that was smooth. Received our room key and got to the room and the keys didn’t work. Had to walk back downstairs to get them to activate the keys. Finally we get to the room and the room was not clean. Trash cans in the middle of the floor. Dishes were dirty and weren’t put away. No shower curtain in the bathroom. No sheets on the bed. Totally disappointed as I’ve stayed there before. Had to go back downstairs. The lady at front desk apologized and gave us another room. I actually felt that we could’ve been accommodated otherwise better but a discount or something. To pay almost $200 for that was ridiculous. I have pictures to show the room. I will be contacting the manager about this.

Bathtub was cracked, floor was sticky, pull out sofa had crumbs left from previous guests, front desk staff was overheard talking on personal phone about guests specifically by name, evening staff was helpful, when I addressed concerns was told there was no other available rooms. We only stayed for one evening so we cleaned ourselves and dealt with the issues. It is very loud as it is right by the highway, but it was close to our event location. Will book elsewhere if we have to come back to the area.

very disappointing stay. room smelled of cigarette smoke! noise so loud from highway even w windows closed we were up all night. No one was EVER at front desk. gave us 2 towels for 3 people & no one there to ask for more. The pullout had no sheets/pillow.

Hotel is outdated and pretty awful. Best part was the full size refrigerator, but it looks like the type of hotel where people that are down on their luck live, not a place to stay.

This hotel sits within a couple of feet from a major highway. The windows are paper thin and you can hear every single car pass by the windows ALL NIGHT LONG. We turned on the fan hoping that would drown out the noise but it did not. There is a smell in the hallways that reminded us of animals. That smell was not in our room, however, when we turned on the fan to drown out the highway noise a musty smell filled the room. We did not stay the two nights we booked. we left the next morning. The staff was helpful in not charging us for the second night. We do not recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival, they offered no early check-in, it was okay because we were there for a volleyball tournament and the place was packed. Other hotels have always allowed early check-in so was just disappointed. I can back around 30 minutes after the scheduled check-in time. Our room was still not ready, I was told they were behind with cleaning. So I missed part of the tournament waiting to get checked in. The room felt warm but I turn the AC on so to cool down. When we came back that night late, the tournament didn't end until after 10:30, the room reeked of marijuana, was not cool at all and the refrigerator was not cool. We figured since it was late, the room would cool down over night. At 2am we called the front desk and the phone just rang and rang. My son started having asthma issues as he's allergic to dogs and the room must not have been clean enough. We found out they allow dogs. I opened the window to try and get some air, messaged the desk and still no response. My daughter and son were sleeping and we had to be awake early the next day for the tournament so I didn't go downstairs to complain. We just suffered through the night. My son went to the Patient First the next morning to get an inhaler. All in all it was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. Think twice before booking...

Our room was clean and comfortable and I didn't realize we had a suite which also included a full size fridge, 2 stove top burners and a sink! We didn't use the stove but appreciated the fridge and sink. The bathroom was also super clean, shower strong water flow, and all in all, the room was perfect.

Parking was adequate. The property is dated and in much need of up grades. Replacing the carpet with new laminate flooring and updated furniture (including recliners that work. Ours was broken) in the suites would give this hotel new life. Breakfast was available in the club store for a price along with a veriety of snacks, ice cream and drinks. The smell of the complimentary fresh brewing coffee was a pleasant surprise and delight. This was self severe for the guest all day!

If you have a dog make sure they don't put you in a room with an adjoining door to the next room. The first night was fine, no one was next door. The 2nd night they put someone in there who had a dog.? No barking but movement throughout the night was not great.

Room was not properly stocked either. Housekeeping never tended to room at any point during a multi day stay. Front desk did their best to accommodate however unhappy with condition of room.

Bath room wasn't as clean as it should be for 218 a nite. The baseboards need to be cleaned . The handles on the drawers in bathroom are rusted . The light fixtures are rusted . The stuff was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. They hallways and stairwell could use a good cleaning the carpets need to be cleaned too .

The staff was friendly, and the full kitchen was nice, and it was in a convenient location, but that was it. The ENTIRE property smelled heavily of weed and they put an air freshener in the room, but it didnt help much. We tried to turn the AC on hoping it would help and it made it worst as it was very musty. The cabinet in our kitchen area was broken, the toilet seat was broken. There were some very questionable stains on the curtains. It did not feel worth the price we paid at all. It was also right next to the main freeway which caused it to be a bit loud (but we new this when we booked)

Property was average. Bed was not too comfy and they booked our room before we got there so needed to downgrade for practically the same price. Staff was not available at times but not a deal breaker.

Walking in the lobby there was an odor of cigarettes. The staff was friendly and efficient upon check in. The room smelled heavily of paint or some chemical. I asked to switch rooms but the hotel was fully booked so the front desk staff sprayed some air freshener in the room. It didn’t help, actually made it worse. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fan and air sanitizer. The microwave was disgusting and there was some liquid stain dripping down the room door. So much for IHG cleanliness guarantee. There were also no spoons in the room so in the morning I went down to ask for some and there was no one at the front desk. I waited an hour and a half in the lobby for someone to come before I went to the hotel next door and asked for some plastic spoons. I expected a whole lot more for $185/night, and there was no offer to make it right or even a partial refund for the major inconveniences.

The parking lot was a frozen mess and absolutely treacherous to navigate. We're lucky we didn't fall and hurt ourselves. There was a fire alarm and we had to leave our room after a very long tiring day of travel. There was no breakfast at this location and we didn't see that specified when booking.

Both phones didn't work in room... 2. Sofa bed have stains on the bed cover,but luckily i brought a back up blow up mattress...3. The main bed had big holes in the blankets both of them, but the sheets was fine...4. Ants was in windows and on dresser, but i brought bug spray so i really didnt complain...5. No ice machine or access to ice in room...6. Good location to venue. Plenty parking. Big room and kitchen area Look its cheap for a reason. Its one of those places that when built was probably pretty nice but may have changed owners many times. It just shows signs of many many years of use. Carpets are filthy in hallways and rooms. Bathroom has several coats of paint on top of each other. Our room was very musty and they clearly knew this and sprayed some nasty cologne or spray in the room. I'm not sensitive and had to keep the window open all night bc it was so bad and this was february. Everything stunk when we got back home including our cloths, hair even our suitcase stunk. Had to leave it outside. It was freezing rain when we got checked in and the parking lot and main entrance sidewalk just pure ice. When we left the next day still sheet of ice and zero salt. Had two beds both with no top sheet just comforter. Went to the front desk asking for sheets. They said oh we dont do sheets just a comforter. Based on everything I experienced low chance they wash every comforter between bookings.

No running water in the kitchen sink. Infested with roaches,was given a different room on higher floor that room had stained sheets.

The bed was pretty comfortable, and the room's kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes and such. WiFi also seemed fairly good and reliable, though I didn't get the chance to use it much. The overall feel of the hotel was "nobody cares about this place, and they haven't for a long time." I arrived well after midnight but the front doors of the hotel were standing wide open with nobody at the front desk. I had to use the lobby phone to call the front desk, and only after the phone rang several times did somebody emerge from a back room to check me in. When I got to my room its walls had obvious scuffs, dents, and dings all over the place, the bathtub's floor was very stained, the faucets were loose and wobbly, and the overall feel of it suggested nobody had considered doing anything but cursory bits of maintenance or cleaning for quite awhile. It should also be stated (though there's nothing that the hotel can really do about this) that noise from I-95 is LOUD within the building. Even in the middle of the night the road noise from passing cars and trucks was constant. So, if you need a quieter environment to sleep then that's probably going to be a huge deal breaker.

Overall, great place, great location, clean, friendly service, could use some noise dampening upgrades between rooms, but it was by no means the worst ive experienced with neighbors. Definitely recommend this place on value and location alone

We reserved a 2 Queen suite for our 6’5” son and my husband. We got a 1 bed suite because nothing else was available. The housekeeping was nice but we had mouse traps all over the room. Stairwells smelled of urine. Kids running up and down hallways.

We reserved a 2 Queen suite for our 6’5” son and my husband. We got a 1 bed suite because nothing else was available. The housekeeping was nice but we had mouse traps all over the room. Stairwells smelled of urine. Kids running up and down hallways.

The hotel was horrible. It smelled like an unwashed cat or dog for months. It had a rank smell and stench that was unbearable. I checked out quick because I was very unsatisfied. Also, my sheets were ripped. Why would you put ripped sheets on the bed?

Stayed there for a softball tournament. The room was great for the price point. We didn’t have any problems at check in but a couple of other players had problems with room cancellations and a handicap room reservation not being available after it was reserved for over a week resulting in them having to find another hotel last minute. We did have a leaking toilet but other than that our room was good.

Overall a little overpriced for what you get. The hotel needs some updates there were several things that did not work great such as the toilet running which maintenance fixed during my stay, the air conditioning unit did not want to stay on very long and so the room got hot and you had to keep going over to the thermostat and changing it 1° to get it to cut back on. And the knob on shower that changes it from tub to shower did not really work and so therefore the shower and the tub water were on and that made the shower head not have as much pressure as it could have. If you're someone who is a light sleeper this might not be the place for you also because it is right next to the interstate for me that wasn't a problem but it is loud. Overall though it is a clean hotel and has friendly staff and since the rooms are sort of like efficiency apartments it allows you to have all of the items that you might need to cook or to eat. $150 for the night after taxes though was a little steep for it needing some updates

Room smells like cigarettes. Our first room was wrong, and they gave of 2 double beds. The reservation was for a queen bed. The room is disgusting. Couch is stained and ripped. Dog hair left on our bed.

The hotel is RIGHT on I-95 and there is no soundproofing. the windows are thin and the noise is constant. If you want a good night's sleep, don't stay here.

The elevator, the hallways, the rooms all smelled strongly of weed. Everything was very run down. The room smelled too and the bathroom sink was stopped up. I didn’t even take a shower because everything was so dingy. I would not stay there again.

THere was a musty smell in the room, the refirdgerator did not work and had not for a long time based of the smell inside the derilict device. Unsure of HVAC functionality. Poorly stocked amenities in the room, ie coffee and sweetners. Also applied to coffee supplie in the lobby. Staff was friendly.

A lovely stay, the room was clean. We stayed in a King suite and I have say it was a pleasant stay. The suite came with a large living area and nice size counter area with mini fridge. The living area connects to a large bathroom, with big vanity and shower area and jetted tub. The bedroom was open with a very comfortable bed. I didnt care too much for the breakfast, overall our stay was pleasant

Room was clean staff waa nice but i was staying with dogs and not happy to be on the 5th floor. Their pet fee is too high.

The room wasn’t very clean, the bathroom specifically. Also the hallway smelled pretty bad. Other than that the stay was decent.

The whole place had a musty dirty sock smell.

This property smelled like Marijuana smoke everywhere. All the floors and countertops were sticky. Carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in years. Totally sketchy area. We coildnt get out of there fast enough

The only thing I did not like about my stay was that my room didn't have a blackout curtain at the window and it usually is one at the window when I stay there.

My extended family members stayed here for one night due to an event in the area. Check in was quick, size of room was nice because the rooms had a kitchenette. Comfort of bed was good, bed sheets clean but mattress underneath was really dirty. Overall hotel cleanliness was subpar- the common areas such as lobby, hallways and elevators were especially dirty- definitely looked like no one has vacuumed the carpet in a long time. Some parts of the hotel smelled really bad, including some of the guest rooms.

Shampoo and soaps were broken. Older furnishings. Good to price.

The only issue we had was that the A/C unit leaked and made the carpet wet. I told the staff and they went to check on it right away.

We arrived late on Saturday night, the front desk clerk was outside trying to find someone a parking spot. Parking was terrible no spots to be found and no nearby parking. When the clerk came inside he was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean although I found a couple of hairs on the shower wall. There is also a little traffic noise as the hotel is close to the highway.

Quick check in. Room was very clean. All kitchen supplies in the room. We had a large fridge and freezer that we need for a cooler we had. The lobby has games/movies you can borrow. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Would stay again.

Staff was nice and bed was comfortable which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. So noisy! Right next to 95 and near some airport, makes for a long noisy night. Weird brown splatter on wall behind and next to bed. Definitely didn’t look the the pictures!

The surfaces on the surrounding the bathroom were not clean, the bed linen was stained, elevator buttons broken and stale smell in the room

There was used laundry in the bathroom. No Lamp shade. The refrigerator began making a rattling sound at 4:00 am and I had to unplug it. I will never book there again. The concierge was half asleep and was indifferent to my sharing information on the room in the morning. He offered to move rooms but was otherwise unsympathetic. Poor customer service. I asked for the thrid night refund also and not sure if it was given.

Hotel was in a good location for travelers. Hotel was older and showed wear. Shower/tub was hard to get in and out of safely. Beds were very comfortable.

It was a good value and reasonably convenient to downtown.

I called and requested an early registration because of all evening meetings. The man who answered agreed that we could. So nice of him. Our room was 30 yards from the interstate. It is not mentioned on website of course, but I wanted to mentioned it. Maybe I could help someone get a better night sleep than I did. Look elsewhere. Bed was clean and room smelled clean, but the black hairs and dirt around the water faucet was a no no.

This place is very worn down and managements and hotel staff do not take care of the property at all. Elevators were very dirty, pantry was a mess, and the hallways looked like they haven’t been vacuumed or cleaned in weeks. Honestly dont recommend this hotel to anybody that is clean and likes a clean hotel.

It was very clean n quiet stay had a little issue but it was resolved very quickly. I spoke to manager the next day n problem was solved immediately. I will recommend this hotel to family n friends.

Quiet, with friendly staff. Check-in was very easy and quick. Parking could be better but it wasn't awful.

The hotel shares a lot with another hotel, so parking was scarce. There is no portico or parking available at main entrance for checking in. The desk attendant finally emerges from the back and in response to my request for a luggage cart was unable to find a single one. The hotel has no ice machine. I have photos of a full dishwasher with dirty pots and pans and dishes. The flip over safety lock was partially sawed through and not attached at the top, totally inoperable. Photo frames were empty, no picture. No hair dryer provided.

The kitchen was a welcome addition.

Parking lot fills up quickly since there's a Comfort Inn right next door. My room was a nice size but upon entering I noticed a musty smell (room 216). My shower body wash and shampoo bottles were either empty or broken. The counter soap bottle was broken as well. Seems like housekeeping should be replacing these in between reservations. Bed was very comfortable. I didn't need the desk or kitchenette but definitely a plus compared to other hotel options. The price was the most affordable of all the local properties. Big gash in the wall behind the chair next to the bed. Cosmetic damage but hard to ignore.

I really appreciated the lady who checked me in at the front desk (wish I got her name). She was very professional and reviewed pertinent details before I checked in; she also personally checked my room before me and my family went upstairs. Thank you!

Hallways, elevator and common areas all were dirty and could use some serious cleaning. Breakfast was only coffee. Room was clean and comfortable.

Most hotels have body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, but there was no body wash and the Dove shampoo had conditioner in it instead of shampoo and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. I was going to complain the next morning at check out, but there were too many people in line with the front desk and I had to leave.
