The staff was very polite and helpful

I had to attend a family funeral in VA early June 2026. Services were 10min away from the Best Western Inn Plus Glen Allen. The stay was pleasant. I enjoyes the staff and I will stay again if I come back in Aug. 2026.

Exceptional

The staff were great, especially the friendly man who maintains the great breakfast area. However, we did have some issues. Some outlets in the room didn’t work, the TV system was confusing to use, the hairdryer was melted, not enough towels, no shampoo. All in all, the stay had minor issues and the staff was welcoming and great.

and at check in. 10 minutes later, the desk attendant informed me that the room was reserved for the following day because the hotel was still working on the previous days books. He was unempathetic that I had just spent money on a room that didnt exist and offered no apology or help. Hotels.com was also no help even though I called them immediately to ask for a refund as the CSR said they would hear from someone within 72 hrs but he could not authorize a refund. Worst experience I ve ever had with both a hotel and the website!

Great having coffee pods in the room. Thank you. Bed was comfy, room clean. There were many things to choose from for breakfast but the quality was lacking. I was happy to get the breakfast but the eggs were just OK, juice was watered down. We didn't need as many choices of food. Yogurt not very good.

Not the cleanest, but not the worst. Found a small roach in the bathroom. Halls a tad smoky smelling. It was cheap and I got some sleep so it is what it is.

The bed was very comfortable, and I was able to get a good night’s sleep which always isn't the case. I also appreciated the breakfast options, which offered quality, small choices and made it easy to start the day. The room and common areas were clean, and everything was in good condition. Another highlight was the reasonable pricing. I felt that the hotel offered excellent value for the cost, especially considering the cleanliness, comfort, and amenities provided. Overall, my stay was pleasant from start to finish. I had no problems or complaints, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet, and affordable place to stay.

Spacious, quiet and clean room. The door need adjustment so it will close completely but other that that we will come back to this place.

The staff were was very friendly and helpful. Beyond that, the place was mediocre. The worst part was the pool. Very dirty, the only pool chair was too damaged to sit in, the shrubs were dead, and there were no towels. The room was mostly clean and comfortable, but the toilet had a leak and there were some minor cosmetic issues. No hair dryer. Breakfast was better than expected, with actual hot food. Better than my last two hotels, at least. Next time I’ll pay a little more for a (hopefully) better property.

Made reservation 30 min away from gas station. Arrived ,no room, oh here is my res. Its for tommrow holiday forgive my mistake. Hotel would not change it ,canceled it as told txt to both hotel an hotels.com mistakenly made wrong date, 30 min ago . Neither would help. Got charges for both days. Human kind no not at all.

It’s rare to find that level of hospitality these days, and it made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but it’s really the staff that made this stay exceptional. I would absolutely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where you’re treated with kindness and genuine care.

Breakfast was pretty good. It would have been nice to have some yogurt at breakfast. The rest of the food was ample. There was plenty of lit parking.

My room was large, clean and comfortable. The room had a large TV and nice seating. I travel several times a month, and this hotel was significantly nicer than most others at about the same price point. I will stay again!

Bathroom door was sprung and would not close properly, and there was a hole in the wall. Carpets were stained and the floor was not well vacuumed. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good though.

Great location to Henrico Sport Center. Big room, clean compare to other hotels around the area, however, the tv quality is not good so could not use it during our stay. We booked the room with the kitchenette, but except the sink and the electric stove, nothing else is provided. You would need to bring your own stuff to use. We did not know that, so it is one star less from us. Breakfast hour is good, 6:30am-9:30am. We did not try it since our daughter schedule was so early in the morning. Overall, will stay again for another tournament due to the convenience.

The staffs were amazing. The hot and cold breakfast was good + fresh yogurt. The room was spacious, neat and very clean.The bathroom was amazing too. It's a pity i wanted to book another stay for May 23rd-25th but the hotel was fully booked. Our stay was very pleasant. I will recommend the hotel.

The tv had two remotes and we couldn't figure out how to turn on local programming. The desk receptionist did come to our room to show us how to get what we wanted. That was nice, although written instructions in the room would have helped.

Room and facility were clean. Staff was polite but made me wait a while as he ran outside for something. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet - bathroom was clean and water was hot. I didn’t check anything out around the hotel because I was just really needing a place to sleep in the middle of my ride. Breakfast was typical muffins, cereal etc. not many options and they started cleaning it up before it was supposed to be over. Overall great experience. Really minimal complaints and no reason that I wouldn’t stay here again.

We were allowed to check in early and the front desk woman checked our room to make sure everything was ready. They cleaned the room every day we stayed (rare these days!), and had a hearty breakfast ready each morning. The room temp. was perfect!

Check-in staff was polite and courteous and very helpful. When we entered our room it was clean and did not have any funky smells. At checkout it was just as quick of a speedy and painless of a process.

The property and room were very good for the relatively low cost of the property. The one downside was the breakfast was not very good. But overall, when driving from Florida to New Jersey with our cats, I would definitely stay here again.

Fine for a one night stop

My only complaint is that the elevator was hot and stuffy. If I could make one recommendation it would be to have some sort of seating and butt container out front for smokers.

I had an awesome stay! Room was clean, staff were friendly and it’s affordable. You can’t go wrong here!

Too many fire alarms. My 5 year old thought there would be a fire in the night.

Some of the lights were fused. Shower head need to be fixed. Closet door has a hole, I think damaged by the security latch because it’s very close to entrance door. Mainly carpet was filthy.

My second stay here, no major updates, everything is peachy perfect. The room looked like everything was brand new. Staff courteous and made me feel welcome.

No quick one-night stay…

The staff here was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint i have is the walls are very thin. You can hear people talking in the next room and people walking above.

We got to the property somewhat late at night. The room was clean but old and worn, with some suspect stains on the ceiling in the bathroom and main room. A full sized refrigerator/freezer was nice and definitely kept our things cold/frozen. The beds were somewhat hard but the blankets were soft. I didn’t go down for breakfast but my husband and kids said it was fine. The fitness room was small but equipped with one of each machine and was not crowded. Overall it was sufficient for what we needed, a quick overnight for a baseball tournament.

Great location right off the I-95 and close proximity to amenities. Easy check-in; friendly, courteous employees. Clean exterior, grounds and parking area. Large room with king bed (very comfortable), sofa, and small fridge and microwave. Large, clean bathroom. Clean dining area and good hot breakfast. Would stay here again.

Breakfast area needed to be looked after. Coffee machine wasn’t working and the carafe they used to replace it was empty nearly right away. Also, the cereal dispenser wasn’t allowing the cereal to come out.

Crack house for luxury prices

This was just a basic hotel room, nothing fancy. It looks a little time-worn. The staff was fine. At breakfast, there were sufficient offerings, but there was no hot water available for tea, because the machine was broken.

Keith was very friendly and personable. Room was clean and big.

The front desk area was under renovation at the time we were there so I’m sure the construction is done now. One time when we came back to our room the housekeeper had left our door wide open (for about 5 hours) which made us uncomfortable with all our belongings in there. Nothing was missing but we felt very vulnerable. Anyone could have gone in there. I’m sure it was a honest mistake, but not a good one. Parking was great. Location is great. Overall we were satisfied.

We had a three night stay. The room was fine and clean. The breakfast room coffee pot did not brew black coffee any of the 3 mornings or at the 2 other times I checked during the course of our stay. Staff was informed and apparently tried to fix the machine but no solution was rendered and no alternatives were brought in or provided. Coffee seems like a basic breakfast offering that could have had a reasonable, simple solution. A long-term solution would be to replace the overly fancy coffee machine with a simple brewing machine. (no need for espresso, lattes and other 'fancy' coffee that this machine supposedly brews at this hotel.)

I was kicked out of Best Western Plus on Brook Rd into the snow/ice with my brand new baby because the previous employee didn't take a deposit from me. I had already booked the room. I had stayed the night before already and was trying to extend the stay as I was told to do by the night employee. When I went to do so, I was told I either had to pay more or leave. I told them I did it but could get it. To which the response was "just find somewhere else to stay or I'll have to call the cops." They've stated it's mandatory, but their website clearly states otherwise. Go anywhere but here!

overall the stay was good. The desk chair in my room had some questionable stains on it. An obvious thing that should not have been overlooked. The chair should have been removed if it could not be cleaned.

Stayed one night passing threw, good location 1 min off of the I95 parking was easy and included, breakfast included your typical waffles eggs and potatoes it was good, i would stay again room was clean and nice. Staff when we checked in was great they gave 2 water bottles was a great bonus and staff at check out was also great very help full

Broke still yelling telling me he gonna kick me out. Embarrassing me because there was mad people in hallway. Finally i go downstairs and the girl tells me it says i was smoking and gonna say so if i come to your room its not gonna smell like smoke. So even more insulting she comes sniffing. Loke i said i dont smoke. She says i apologize im gonna let him who never apologized know. Needless to say if i didn't catch the cleaning ladies in hall they weren't coming to clean Then the water in the kitchen was disgusting i hadnt realized the first two days i used it to make coffee on the third day was washing dishes and as I let the water run omg. Needles i was sick for three days a waste of my trip i wish i could show the video Then the room above me was mak i ng so much noise sounded like fighting furniture being thrown kids running

The light switch in the bathroom had something gross on it, I could see streaks on the bathroom counter which indicates a dirty cloth was used to clean. Parking was easy. I left before breakfast started as I was there for a marathon.

Quick stop for overnight stay heading south. Only there for 7 hrs. Really cannot give accurate review but hotel served our purposes plus allowed us to bring our large dog.

The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am in the morning waking up the entire hotel. I wanted some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and got simply weak excuses upon check out at the front desk. Unacceptable!

My towels were not refreshed and my room was not cleaned once for my entire stay and i told the staff member several times to clean and refresh my towels.

The room is clean and the cooling unit is working fine. It was a short stay but it was nice and quiet night. Slept good because the bed is comfortable. The only thing i noticed is that the television uses 2 remote controls and thats about it.

Best Western in Glen Allen is a great lodging option. It's quick and easy to get back to 95. Beds and pillows are pretty comfy. Bathroom is nice and clean.

But the best part, especially for a light sleeper like myself, was the extremely quiet AC unit! The breakfast was great as well - in both quality and options. We stayed at Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn for 1 night on our way back from a college visit. We felt welcome, safe, and relaxed. I'd love to go back and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We chose this hotel due to its location to the Richmond Raceway for the NASCAR race. I would definitely stay there again. It was 15 minutes from the track. The staff (especially Kathryn at the front desk) were so helpful & nice. Thank you for a great place to stay on our weekend get away!

The proximity to the racetrack was very nice. There were places to eat nearby too. The bed was comfortable. Things were clean and the breakfast was ok. You could see they were doing cosmetic updates. We did report to the front desk that our AC wasn't cooling as needed for the extremely hot weather.

It was clean and the rooms were really nice! They had a 24 hour complimentary coffee bar which was amazing and free brownies at check in! The young lady who helped me was so sweet I believe she made the brownies!

I had a positive experience as a solo traveler. The room was modern and comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. It was located conveniently off the highway.

The only reason I took off a star was because I had an issue with my first room, but the woman at the desk was able to set me up with a nice new room right away. I would recommend the hotel and will stay again!

I didn’t like that the pool was duty, very duty. The receptionist was kind. There was rules I wasn’t aware such as $30 pet fee and $100 holding on my credit card for “security deposit.”

He told me that we could speak with the manager the next day & possibly be able to move to a room with a kitchen. Unfortunately, our plans meant that we would be gone most of the next day. Ultimately, we stayed in the room we were given as we'd already be settled in. The rest of the experience was good other than noise in the hallway which isn't the hotel's fault. There isn't much in the way of convenient food options. Also, this is an area where a lot of the restaurants are closed on Tuesdays, which is the day we arrived. Again, not a problem with the hotel, just the location.

The Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn was conveniently located as a pit stop on my way to richmond. The hotel was clean, parking was very easy. We had an issue with the lock on our initial room and management corrected it immediately. The included breakfast was a plus with a good variety.
