    It looked very nice, clean, and updated from the lobby. This hotel’s handling of our reservation was shocking—easily one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with any property. We booked in advance, called three hours before arrival, and still received zero communication that our reservation had been cancelled due to overbooking. We only discovered this after arriving with our bags, ready to check in. What made the situation even more demoralizing was the way it was handled. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff initially questioned whether we even had a reservation, which felt like an attempt to shift blame rather than address the issue. With a line forming behind us, the experience became not only frustrating but humiliating. There was no urgency, no ownership, and no effort to make things right. The front desk associate wasn’t rude, but she was completely unequipped to problem‑solve. She even asked me how I planned to resolve the hotel’s mistake—despite the fact that I had already paid $250 for a non‑refundable reservation. I had to remind her that I’m a guest, not an employee, and that finding a solution was her responsibility, not mine. We were excited for this stay, and instead we were left stranded, stressed, and disappointed. The lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable, and the customer service fell far below even basic expectations.

    Check in was at 3pm. I arrived at 3:30pm and was told that they had no clean rooms. I asked if there were any clean rooms equivalent to what I booked and was told only a room with a queen sized bed. I declined. I was told it would be just a few minutes and she would notify housekeeping to clean the room. I went back an hour and a half later to check in and the couple in front of me was also being told there were no clean rooms available and that they had to wait. I received my room key. The room was decent. But the hallways were extreme humid/hot and smelled bad. No apology or any thing for having to wait. I won’t be back.

    The free parking is super nice for the area however the rooms are laid out very strangely, think dorm room industrial vibes, you can hesr every conversation and sound from bed and the bed was rock hard.

    First time staying at the property. Booked it through Expedia. Staff at reservation desk asked for my card for incidentals. I swiped card, and signed when it was approved. Then called a manager about something and was showing him information on the computer through his phone. Then he asked me to swipe my card again, saying that it did not go through. I did and said that I hopes my card was not charge twice. He said it wasn’t. It was. I have two pending charges for incidentals in my card as I wrote this review. Room was fine. Shower mat had a stain on it someone should have seen. Parking and getting into hotel to check in is cumbersome. Location is good for food and such.

    The only thing I didnt care for was that the lighting for the bathroom, lights up the whole room so it can disrupt the other person's sleep. Also which people probably don't really pay attention to, is the sheet quality. We could tell it was a lower quality of bedding which made it a bit uncomfortable when sleeping. Aside from that, it was fine.

    The room was very nice. Convenient location. The staff entered my room at 9am, uninvited while i was sleeping the morning after my wedding. They were told to get out and then continued knocking and coming back saying they needed to inspect our room. We decided to leave earlier than normal checkout time even after requesting a late check out so we could relax after our wedding. They didn’t attempt to call the room but barged in instead and continued coming back harassing us to let them in. They claimed there was a complaint of water leak but that does not justify entering a room uninvited or without a proper phone call. They did not even offer to make this right with us.

    The lobby area turned into a club dancing at night with loud music. We stayed on the fifth floor and our room has this mechanical squeaking that is so loud we could not sleep. It is unfortunate because the area is nice.

My email address that was registered with Bonvoy was stuck in a digital nightmare and I couldn’t log onto my account. I then went onto Expedia to get my room. The entire hour the front desk rep knew I wanted and needed a room but he was simply a face hired by Aloft…to do what? Not helpful. In the morning the new representative at the front desk was amazing. Five stars for her. The housekeeping staff 5star. I witnessed other guests not happy with things but I understand that’s hearsay. If this place wasn’t right next to ACAC I wouldn’t stay here again.

    I was locked out of my room for 45 minutes on 2 of my 3 nights stay and was told that it was because the card was left in my wallet although I never put the card in my wallet. Maintenance finally called to fix the lock and advised that the battery died in the card reader. I love the area but I will never stay there again.

    The first room was so noisy with intermittent buzzing that I was repeatedly Awoken in the middle of the night. I changed rooms after the second night. The other issue was that over the course of a six night stay, housekeeping did not show up even once! I’d leave the room mid morning around 10 and be out all day until 9p, removing the DND sign when I left the room, expecting the used towels left on the floor to be taken away, the vanity neatened up, paper coffee cups, and coffee pods to be replaced. A couple times I even spoke to the maid directly that I was leaving. Nope, clean did not happen! After a couple nights of the towels not being replaced, I asked the front desk to pls send some towels to the room. Their answer was, we don’t have anyone, and I had to retrieve the towels myself. Which I did, because the towels for the last three days were all on the floor , and they remain there until checkout lol. Also, for the first two nights, there was no running water between midnight and 4 AM. Not such a big deal, but combined with the incredibly loud buzzing in the first room, and lack of professional housekeeping, I really wondering what is going on with this property.

    It is also difficult to get around the building. There is one elevator that gets you from the parking garage to the lobby, then you have to travel across the lobby and to a second elevator to get to the rooms. You also have to travel through multiple fire doors in the process that aren't particularly accessible for a person with a disability. I definitely wouldn't stay there again.

    We booked 2 rooms through this site and when we arrived only 1 room (a handicap room ) was available. Once in the room, the phone was broken as well as the air conditioning! There was no one on site to help, therefore we were left with a broken fan (which we had to ask for).

One night we were in bed asleep and fire alarm went off and we sat in our car for 2 hours, nobody let us know when we go back in hotel. We got back to our room ( they told us it was safe to go back) and as soon as white in bed the fire alarm went off again! We had go in car for another hour! We are 75and 70 years old and going up and down 3 flights of stairs in the middle of night was horrible! We were not compensated at all! When we booked our room in October the price of room was cheaper than when we checked out! I will never stay there again! We come to that area every year at the same time for Our Granddaughters Field Hockey Tournament, but we will never stay there again!

    The hotel location is convenient and easy, hotel feels old and is currently under renovations. Rooms are pretty small. On the last night of our stay the fire alarms went off twice in the middle of the night, resulting in two evacuations and they ended up turning the elevators off because of this. They feel dirty and the lighting is dark and looks like fabric draped over light shades. They smell of construction. The trash was overflowing the receptacle. The rooms are smaller/tighter than most, and not crisp clean. Unfortunately for them, the corridor experience probably made us more critical. I would not recommend.
