The room smelled like urine and cigarettes. We checked in and the smell was so awful. We were late for a lunch reservation so we dropped bags and ran out. Over lunch we decided to book another hotel because we couldn’t stand to stay in that room one more minute. Also my dog was extremely anxious in there and refused to drink the water from the tap. We checked out when we got back from lunch. We were refused a refund because we “stayed” in the room 3 hours. To top it off when we were packing up another family next to us was also leaving because their rooms were also disgusting. It literally smelled like multiple dogs peed in there. Also the lobby smelled so bad like smoke that it gave us headaches just from checking in.

When I arrived I had to wait for a couple to finish arguing about where their "smokes" were in the back room before anyone other than their dog came out to the front desk. They went through the check in process for the room a booked ahead of time which was a double queen with kitchenette. It wasn't until after they took my money that they informed me they gave that room to someone else and could put my family in a smaller room with no kitchenette and they would not adjust the price, even though there is a noticeable price gap between the 2 when booking online. They showed me the room and it smelled of smoke and everything just had that dingy poorly maintained and saturated in nicotine look. The only positive thing was that they didn't give me a hard time about me wanting my money back and I was able to book at a different place that was clean and friendly.

The receptionist was the only positive experience I had. She was kind, funny and all around good. Everything. Just everything sucked. I dont expect 5/5 for the price, but i do expect there not to be blood, especially on the bathroom door hinge. The room 206 just felt like an absolute train wreck. The room smelt like a crack den. The flooring was held together with duct tape, most of the outlets didn't work, bathroom smelt like straight up mold, the AC had a very strong stench of tobacco and other mish-mash of drugs. As someone with very weak lungs, the room could have at least a clean air conditioner.

this place was so disgusting. it reeked of cigarettes, no one at the counter knew what they were doing, there was a man in his underwear sitting in his open doorway watching me walk to my room. the room itself had dead bugs everywhere, stains on the walls, the ceiling was falling apart. i didn’t stay. i immediately turned around and found a new hotel.
- 3/5
50 years ago I’m sure this was a really nice motel. But it definitely has been maintained on a very tight budget. That being said, we were pleased to have such a nice kitchen with full size refrigerator and stove. The A/C was quiet but control knobs were missing. Bed was a little too firm without any pillow top. Price was half or less than that of what a nice hotel would cost.
- 1/5
TV was inop. Floors were sticky, toilet had a bad flapper and ran every 2 minutes. Room had a desk but the drawers were missing. Leftovers in freezer from previous occupant. No hangers or wash clothes. Bathroom door wouldn't shut and the sink plug did not work. Place was listed as pet friendly with a fee of $25. When we got there it was a fee of $30. That was per pet per night which for us meant and extra $120. This should have been explained up front!
- 3/5
I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
Upon arrival, I entered the room and noticed an unpleasant odor. The floor was extremely sticky, the bed was unusually stiff, and when I sat on it, two bed frame supports became loose. The bathroom was problematic and emitted a strong unpleasant smell. Furthermore, the parking lot was fully occupied, and when I contacted the owner, she advised me to use my discretion and park next door or align my vehicle in the middle of the driveway near the motel inn sign. My stay was uncomfortable due to the circumstances, but given that most establishments were closed and this was a temporary arrangement, I had limited options. I hope that the issues mentioned will be addressed in the future. To enhance customer service, I suggest providing clear instructions and incorporating a courteous tone. This is my first experience with motel inns and surely will be my last. Thankful for the hospitality on this abode for the time being.
- 3/5
Room for as reasonably priced. Having said that, you get what you pay for. Specifically needed a handicapped assessible room. For this place, it means you can get a wheelchair inside. Room is large, fairly clean but nothing but two towels and a bath mat. No wash cloths or hand towels. No grab bars in bathroom & I could barely reach the sink. This is very much like the old Motel 6’s we stayed in when I was a kid. They are pet friendly so I give kudos for that. We won’t probably stay again.

I woke up the night attendant to find out they canceled my reservation. I was still charged. No explanation. I want my money!

There was no parking the whole time and they didn’t have a king or my room available and I had to get a different room
- 2/5
Quite run down. Floor panels comming up patched drywall with no paint TV very difficult to manage. The saving grace was that the staff we dealt with were wonderful
- 4/5
Affordable. Kichen appliances were broken, usable, but broken.
- 1/5
Smells bad
- 2/5
We stayed here before and accidentally got the same motel when booking. The bed frame that was made of angled iron was wider than the mattress and when you went around the bed you hit your shins and toes on it. The bathroom door had a hole in it, the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The whole bathroom needs to be updated. It was pretty quiet there and we slept well.
- 3/5
I was there for a personal stay with a friend. For the most part it was ok. The lady in the office could have been friendlier as she definitely acted as if she didnt want to be there dealing with customers at all. I also noticed that the floor was significantly dirty when walking around barefoot as the bottom of my feet quickly became very filthy. Almost like it has only been swept but not mopped in quite some time. Otherwise things were pretty clean. There are a couple small lamps on the wall next to the bed we noticed were both very loose and moved if even slightly bumped while plugging anything in but they still worked, we just had to remember to be careful. It was nice having access to the kitchen though and the price was very nice for the amount of room we had. Though the area isnt the greatest and the noise isnt blocked by the walls as you can hear everything outside and a lot on either side if they decide to get noisy...but that never bothered us as we listen to music most of the time and it helps drown out the noise from anything else. Other than little things its not bad. Its affordable and what you would expect from a place like this really.
- 4/5
Friendly at the desk and very helpful.
- 1/5
Not a good place to stay.
- 1/5
Booked the room as pay at property option, but was fully charged 4 days in advance of arrival, when mentioned, Dana at Front desk said no you picked pay early, when I showed her my confirmation email saying pay at property she said "Oh, I hate 3rd party companies" and then she got awkward. We entered the room to find stained bedding, crumbs on tv stand, dried loogies in the sink, duct taped floor boards, holes in the wall, dented door, shady residents, razor wire on neighbors fence outside the window. TOTAL FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Went to front desk to resolve issues, was told truckers come through here often and make things dirty... she said she could give us new bedding but she couldnt promise they wouldnt be stained as well. We asked for a refund and was told to call Expedia however the cancellation fee is the same as the room cost so she doubts we would get any money back. Gave the keys back and definitely did not stay here.
- 3/5
The water in the tub dripped all the time and the air conditioner was awful. It wasn't all the hot but I never would have been able to sleep without the fan I brought with me blowing on me. There was no place to set up my laptop comfortably, you might consider adding that as most people use them these days!
- 5/5
0 it was pretty clean but for underneath the badges and around the edges
- 3/5
Older facility and poorly cared for. Housekeeping was terrible, hairs in sink and bathtub dirty.

Had a nice kitchenette! Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Great place for the price - nice proprietors. We always stay here when we visit grandkids.
- 1/5
sketchy place, sketchy residents smoking cigarettes and perpetually watching me in the parking lot.at all times of day. i walked around barefoot in the AM briefly and noticed my feet were black with dirt when i got into the shower. Loud room. uncomfortable bed. One handicap packing space was taken up by the not handicapped owners broken down car. This pace had it all - not in a good way.
- 1/5
I had to turn heat off in order to sleep. We make several trips to Portland area. We will never book there again.
- 3/5
The bed frame was broken but was repaired quickly. Temperature control was fine. The shower/tub allowed shower water to go on the bathroom floor. I was advised that there are upgrades coming.
- 4/5
The shower needed updating. Otherwise it was OK
- 1/5
Front desk was terrible
- 5/5
Their biscuits and gravy at breakfast is awesome.
- 1/5
I am sorry but I paid for 2 nights and checked out after the first night. The place is run down, the rooms look like something from 1960's that has been completely trashed and then cleaned just enough to barely pass as sleep-able. The bed is basically a giant box.. it has a very seedy feeling. The front desk lady was nice, although it seemed reluctantly so. I figured since I was going through hotels.com they would have vetted the place and made sure I was getting a decent room, but since they didn't, I am out almost 200 dollars and I did not get to enjoy the time with my brother.
- 1/5
Staff was rude kicked us out tried to charge me 200$ for a pet deposit
- 1/5
It was dirty and scary. An all around bad experience.
- 3/5
It was good for the price.
- 1/5
Supposed to be non smoking but the room smelled like it had been smoked in. Didn’t feel safe. They wouldn’t refund me. I ended up going somewhere else anyway.
- 4/5
If I had to change anything, it would be to get real coffee creamer not powder.
- 2/5
Unbelievably dirty and run down.
- 1/5
The smell of the room knocked us out and we said we couldnt stay. The staff was rude. The furniture was broken and old. Didnt get our money back but left. Will never stay at a Budget Inn OYO again.

Property was clean and quite.

It was good. Kathy the prop mgr was helpful, kind, polite and caring. She took care of us. Ty kathy.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Floors were not clean.
- 1/5
Place is trash. Could not find reservation. Still charged me after going somewhere else
- 1/5
She tried to be very accommodating - but... They DON'T accept pets, even though that's why we reserved there, but that's okay, because I don't even think pets should stay there!
- 1/5
I will never stay there ever again. It’s was so bad
- 3/5
Bath tub very slippery needs some kind of traction.
- 5/5
Was priced high until I got on the app way better deal room was clean
- 5/5
Exactly what I needed for an extended stay for a family emergency! Room was clean, comfortable, and shower was hot!
- 1/5
There were people openly shooting up in the parking lot. Front desk staff was completely unhelpful with single man screaming at us through wall of the next room. Called front desk multiple times asking for new room or for them to confront man screaming, front desk refused. I would never stay here again. There was dried blood stains on the wall as well. Rude, ogre-ish staff, horrible hotel, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel
- 5/5
book last week. everything was fine. I recommend it.
- 1/5
After the debacle we encountered @Thrifty Car Rental, we had to had to listen to them. We will NEVER do a package deal again.
- 3/5
It was just a quick business trip on my own. Not a family affair.
- 1/5
Hotel was very dirty and not kept up and people were living there full time and had all there kids running around and toys and bikes everywhere. Would NOT recommend staying here
- 1/5
It was pretty gross. It looks like most of the guests staying there are there on a long term basis. The room smelled of pee, there was dirt on some of the furniture, the bed smelled gross, etc. If I had time, then I would have found a different hotel to stay in. I chose this place only because I was there on work and needed something fairly close to my office and this was the closet hotel.
- 4/5
We came to visit our grandchildren. The staff was welcoming to us and our grandchildren as well. We were allowed to invite them to swim with us and also to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Thank you.
- 2/5
Overall being alone in this hotel was a scary experience for me. Otherwise location wise it was easy access to the highways and plenty of food and starbucks, but would not stay here again!
- 1/5
The room was filthy the sheets were nasty with dog hair all over them, the bathroom walls were filthy with something sprayed all over them. Wouldn't stay there again even for free.
- 3/5
Average room/hotel/service for the $$.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay presumptively it was a very nice location with great staff and quiet neighbors very comfy bed and I love the smoking in room.
- 1/5
This hotel, though very budget priced and one of the few hotels in the area, was infested with bedbugs! Stayed two nights and on the second morning, I woke up with at least 40 bites all over my neck and arms! Very painful experience, and the hotel walls had buckshot as if someone was doing target practice indoors.
- 1/5
When we walked into the room it stank of the cleaner that they used. It was an overpowering stench. After about 20 minutes or so, my husband got so sick that we had to leave and find another motel. Just not a pleasant experience. This was supposed to be a nonsmoking room and we found cigarette burn holes in the bedspread as well as cigarette butts on the carpet in the corners.
- 1/5
I booked this motel as I just needed a place to sleep. Normally low budget hotels are ok, but this hotel was not clean, there was no window to open a crack for fresh air, and the sink drained very slowly. The clientele of the motel seemed iffy, as judged by seeing some of the guests and the mostly over 10 year old cars that were in the parking lot. There were likely 'monthly stay' residents at this hotel.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff / front desk employee is very, very helpful and always willing to assist in every which way she can. The place as a whole is very clean. I would love to use the same hotel if there will be any chances of going back to Oregon. I would recommend for the hotel aside from the complimentary coffee in the morning, to at least add bagels or cereals for breakfast in the morning.
- 3/5
I had to check in late because my plans changed a bit. The desk person was nice and even allowed me to set up a later check out time. The only downside was the condition of the room. It was clean but had cooking odors and the carpet was definitely in need of cleaning. Other than that great place for the price.
- 4/5
The people were very friendly and would drop everything to answer any of my questions. The bed was great, the room was very clean, the furniture needed up dating, but over all it was a great stay.
- 4/5
You get what you pay for, I've stayed in worse places and was looking to save money on this trip. It's not within walking distance to anywhere worthwhile
- 5/5
it was very nice. I actually stayed an additional night. the manager is very friendly....but wish there was a smoking room.
- 3/5
great location, friendly staff, good bed, ok condition, good price, perfect for a night or 2 nights on the way to destination.
- 5/5
My girlfriend and I love that room and very nice people there but only thing was the A/C didn't work that well.
- 3/5
The name says it all - Budget Inn. If you're on a budget, the Budget Inn is a good value!
- 4/5
Nice front desk lady, clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, refrigerator.
- 4/5
super easy to get to, great staff
- 4/5
this is an older hotel but it is well maintained it was nothing fancy, but was reasonably priced
- 3/5
But the person next door had his TV on very loud and kept us awake most of the night. In the morning, when he finally turned off the TV (for about an hour, then the people elsewhere started talking very loud. This isn't anyone's fault, really, but if you're a very sensitive sleeper, you may want to know that the inn has very thin walls.
- 1/5
Our stay here wasn't the greatest but we fully expected it. Beds didn't look very clean and it just looked run down. The mirror was cracked and half their sockets didn't work. Front desk staff were very friendly but we tried to spend the least amount of time there. There's a reason it's called the budget inn.
- 3/5
Look and feel is quite average but good option if budget is main constraint.
- 3/5
It was a nice hotel for one night but I wouldn't go back there again. The bed was comfortable but the little fridge was making this weird noise and because of that I couldn't sleep the entire night. I turned on the AC and thought maybe I can sleep with that noise but that wasn't helpful either. I went to Portland for a test so maybe my anxiety was because of my test. My room did have a nice tv with so many tv shows to watch tho. :)
- 2/5
I chose this because of very cheap price and reasonable location. However, both nites I was there, a group of smokers camped outside my window until midnite. The people in the room next to mine asked them to move but they never did. Would definitely not go back there again.
- 1/5
This was one of the worst experiences related to a motel. We had reserved two rooms...both rooms smelled terrible, one so bad that we had to be moved to another room. The toilet leaked in one of the rooms and the shower drained so slowly that the tub was half full by the time the shower was done. The motel rented some rooms by the week/month so there were kids and dogs running around all the time...a police car routinely patrolled the parking lot. There were absolutely no amenities available and the outside was dirty and littered.
- 1/5
First room air-conditioning didn't work. Beds was uncomfortable. My vehicle was scratched by kids that were not supervised by there perants. Noisey at night. We left 3hrs b4 check out because we had enough of the place. Now I have to pay more then $1,000 to fix my rig from all the deep scratches that kids made. Are trip was only $400, but are damage was another $1,000. Are vacation wasn't worth the trip.
- 1/5
Not pleasant at all... From the moment we went in, there were doors off the hinges, and rotten food in the sofa, that made the place smell really bad and not liveable
- 2/5
We checked in about 12am; the lady at the front desk was nice, but we were in for a surprise in the room - the smell was BAD, the sheets were stained and the toilet would not flush. Also wireless was dysfunctional. Think twice before staying here for longer periods of time (we slept and left).
- 4/5
I travel for business, and am in the masters program at PSU. Thus hotel rocked in service as I was mid Finals and left my book and the called me to return--I've stayed in 5 star hotels whose service PALED in comparison to these guys!! Will stay again--rooms were industry standard, needed some updated on the exterior, and clean; its older and in an industrial area but well worth it!!!
- 3/5
The front desk lady and housekeeper were so nice and hospitable. Too bad they work at such a dirty and outdated place. The carpet was nasty and needs replaced. Walls were super dirty. It's definitely what you get when you pay next to nothing.
- 4/5
We were looking for a place to stay for an event we were attending. It was quick easy and just what we needed. The room we had was clean, the beds cozy, and the bathroom was nice if a touch small.
- 3/5
I think it's important to say that this motel was very cheap. So my expectations were not high. For the price it was adequate. But it was outdated and rundown. Bed was saggy, but shower was good. Those are the most important things I need on the road.
- 3/5
It was exactly what I expected. I was quite satisfied.
- 3/5
it didn't have what it says online I could have got a better one with the same price and they asking for a deposit
- 5/5
simple quiet comfortable convenient affordable. really liked the fact that they had a laundry room for personal use. would stay here again without question
- 2/5
We've stayed here several times before and were happy overall. This time we traveled with our Golden Retriever. They charged $20.00 per night for him. There is a postage stamp sized area to potty the pets-right on one of the busiest streets in town. Additionally, they are now evidently catering more to long term guests and the parking lot is filled beyond full with beater cars. Room was clean, but the lack of pet amenities and the decline in environment will keep us from returning.
