    It is not the Red Lion's fault, but Expedia kept selling rooms that were not available. I never actually got to stay there. There were 3 separate guests behind me with the same problem. The staff was EXCELLENT and HELPFUL to get my money back.

    We had no doorknob, no towels, and our ceiling was leaking and had to almost move hotels, until they were able to get us a room that we had to make our own bed and give our children a bed on floor.

    The facility was aware the AC was not working but still allowed us to check in without letting us know. We stayed from Thursday all the way until Sunday with zero air conditioning and no window in our room. We had friends checking in Friday night (who had a reservation and had already paid for their room) to which they were told at 2 am that there was no available rooms and almost every other hotel in Gillette also was booked up. Every time we would open our refrigerator, everything inside would fall out. Overall, do not recommend and which they would have at least offered us part of our money back.

    The property is run down and the room had black mold growing in the bathroom and the carpet was old and torn. Overall, this property needs to be closed and remodeled.

    We came to checkin and were told that there were NO rooms even though we had a reservation!! Did not offer any reason or help to help us find another place. We drove 9 hours to get here and were exhausted with 2 young children. What a heart break when the kids saw the pool and we had to turn around and look elsewhere!!

    They were extremely overbooked. We were unable to get into our room with the keys provided, the master key would not even open the door. The manager had no idea how to get the door open, so we were told we would need to find another hotel to stay at.

    No hot water, 1 towel for 3 adults. Was told we would be moved to another room didn't happen. When asked again about more towels were told they didn't have any more clean towels. Stay away from this place.

    Do not stay here, we literally could t even get Into our room because the girl couldn't figure out our cards after four different sets and over a half hour of trying to get into our room so we left, the front desk girl working was extremely rude, they refused refund and apparently had to manager on site. The facility looks nice when first walking in but is filthy, it hasn't been vacuumed in probably weeks and I'd say hasn't been dusted in a month. It was filthy. There were other people in the lobby also dealing with issues.

    Our keys didn't work 4 times, they took over an hrs to finally get us in our room, the a/c wasn't working and never even looked at it for us, and one night at 10:40pm they knocked on our door because they were looking for an empty room for someone else. I asked to talk to the manager and they never called or came to talk to me i was there 3 days. I will definitely never stay here again.

    Nothing but location The staff was very rude. We booked our stay for two nights and they tried to say we only booked one. They had us leave our event to come prove it. They were rude when we told them our bed was broken. The place was messy and not much worked.

    I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS RESERVATION. WE HAD BEEN TRAVELING MOST OF THE NIGHT TO GET TO THIS HOTEL, I CALLED TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY STILL HAD OUR ROOM, SINCE WE WERE TRAVELING WITH A YOUNG CHILD, THAT REALLY NEEDED A BED ! WE CALLED AND THERE WAS NOT A ROOM WITH 2 QUEENS LEFT, BUT WAS TOLD THAT WE COULD HAVE 2 KINGS... WE WERE SO EXCITED.... THEN ABOUT AN HOUR LATER, GOT A CALL WHILE WE WERE GOING IN AN OUT OF SERVICE THAT OUR ROOMS HAD JUST BEEN RENTED OUT !! I'M SORRY ... BUT AFTER 1 AM IN THE MORNING TO BE TOLD THAT YOUR ROOM WAS TAKEN WAS NOT THE NEWS I WANTED. I WOULD BE HESITANT TO RESERVE A ROOM HERE AGAIN, JUST FOR THAT FACT. I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE OVER 10 HOURS TO FIND THAT I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL.

    They overbooked when I had my contractors out on business trip. Left my contractors with no room we had to scramble to find other hotels. Front desk blamed it on Hotels.com but I think because my contractors didn't get there till later that night they just decided to book others for a soccer game that came in and people were needing hotels. Anyways it was not professional. they need to get their business squared away with companies that feed them business. So they don't run into this situation. I paid for the rooms and everything.
