I recently stayed at Tru (Hilton, Gilbert)in Gilbert Arizona for 2 nights. The property is loacted in one of the main street wi th lots of restaurantsand other shops, immaculately clean.The staff was incredibly friendly and proffesional, accommodating, especially Dottie who was helping me to revise the date of my stay ( My moms funeral was delayed), who constantly follow up with Expedia with no result (***not good customer service***boo) .My room was on third floor., King Standard Room was spacious, spotless, modern, featuring a remarkably comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I particularly enjoyed their morning breakfast and it was one of the Best. I will definitely book this hotel in the future again. Thank you Hilton!!

From the moment I walked in the staff was extremely helpful. Shout out to Nate at the front desk!! The hotel was clean and always upkept. Walls are solid and I couldn't hear any outside noise. This hotel is located in a very quiet part of Gilbert with many great places to eat and have fun. It was a bit unusual that they there is no housekeeping on the daily, but for me that wasn't a problem. The breakfast was great, enough food to get your day started. Will definitely visit again.

The lady that was working the evening of May 13th was exceptional. She is normally from Utah and has a little accent. I believe her name was Marie. She went above and beyond for us. Knowing we had to check out before breakfast she ensured we had a little baggie of breakfast items for each of us. It was so appreciated and amazing. I have never encountered service like this. She was very friendly and outgoing. Made sure our stay was 100%. I will stay here again all because of her.

Friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms and an overall great stay. The breakfast was decent although the eggs seemed a bit watered down and the bacon was very thin. Aside from that, everything was enjoyable. We especially loved the game room. Our kids and (parents)had a great time. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was not clean and gross, the beds were like sleeping on concrete and the bathroom looked like nobody cleaned mold, hair, mirror looked like someone spit all over, beds had crumbs in them, walls had drywall tape coming apart and glue running down the glass shower door. Front desk was kind when checking in.

The hotel itself was immaculate and smelled so fresh and clean. The staff was kind and courteous and the breakfast was great

Great stay! Area around the hotel is safe with lots of restaurants, a mall, etc. staff was so friendly and helpful! My only issue was that they did not make up our room on one of the days if our stay. Other than that, everything was great! Enjoyed the breakfasts and the room was great!

Great place to stay great location clean nice staff right next to sprouts grocery store very handy and about a five minute walk to downtown plenty of food options all around. I prefer the grocery store.

This was my first time at a Tru by Hilton. On par with other 2 star hotels. My room was certainly not luxurious but was adequate. Breakfast was standard but well maintained. The service by staff did stand out. They are very pleasant, welcoming and accommodating.

Loved the pool table and pool for kids. Lack of any laundry area was a big drawback when traveling with kids.

The breakfast and staff were sweet and amazing. Amenities weren't at a well quality that truly deserved the amount I paid for. But I'm sure great for the location for others just not for my wife and I.

Nate was very helpful! Very professional and welcoming! Rooms were comfortable, didn’t have a chance to use the pool but it look clean. Saw guest enjoying their time at the pool. Family room in lobby was also welcoming as I saw families/sports teams enjoy the area. Breakfast was a plus for us, everything was delicious. Will recommend to others.

Breakfast selections were small, coffee was not hot, room was not cleaned while we were there. Only one chair in the room and it was a desk chair. Really!? Lighting was really inadequate. Furniture was a bit scraped/beat up. But beds were comfortable and staff in entrance were friendly. That is the only staff I saw all weekend. Overall it was disappointing.

The rooms are tiny and run down. The walls are not clean and are spot painted to cover up. The desk chair was disgusting. I have stayed at other Tru hotels, and this was by far the poorest maintained.

We thought the breakfast was great! The pancake maker was pretty impressive and made great pancakes. The overall breakfast experience was above expectations. I really can't think of anything negative about our stay. Good location, nice facilities, easy access, it was all pretty dang good. We'd stay here again.

I liked the bright, cheery colors -- lots of activity in the lobby area. Coffee included. Free chips/water on night 1. Staff were very chatty and friendly. Not enough hangers. No drawers or shelves to store my clothes. The hot water for tea was usually empty at night when I needed it. I had to ask a few times to get more. Good news is they refilled it for me. Not enough "healthy" snack options. Many days, my room wasn't cleaned at all. When it was, the washcloths in the shower on the floor were not removed. The toilet flushing was not reliable. The housekeeping staff turns down the AC in the room after they clean, so it's hot when you get back to the room. Not enough lights in the room to work at night. I extended my stay via phone, but it wasn't reflected in the local system, and my keys didn't work. Not a big deal, but the phone reservation person didn't alert me to get new keys.

The air conditioner fan would not shut off, kind of a nuisance and had a hard time sleeping with the noise.

Breakfast was timely and tasty. Facilities clean with nice options for families such as pool table and games. Clean and well situated common work spaces. The staff were all excellent! Please use bleach and or oxy and very hot water on the towels. Towels were clean but I could make out faint stains on some of the towels. Sound - I could hear the next door neighbors at night when they would use their bathroom and especially heard them leave and come back to their rooms.

Marcus at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. Also, appreciated the room. It seemed a little small but it was quite comfortable. The king bed was perfect. Everything was exactly what was needed. It will be my hotel of choice when returning to Phoenix area.

For $225 the room was too small, and no closet or drawers for clothes and only a desk chair for sitting. Housekeeping wasn’t very good and the room phone to call housekeeping didn’t work. For a Hilton Hotel I was disappointed.

We had a great experience at this location. As soon as I walked in Nate at the front desk was tending to another person but he took the time to acknowledge that I was there and that he would be with me as soon as he could. What a wonderful check-in experience with Nate! He delivered the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. He welcomed our family, made sure the room was up to expectations & even offered a ‘to go’ bag of breakfast since our son was leaving early in the morning for a sports tourney before breakfast started at 7am. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Need updates to standard amenities and technology. Smart TV in rooms do not allow streaming network services (e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu). There is no coffee maker in room (only place I’ve ever stayed without one). Sure, free coffee available in lobby area, but very inconvenient. Finally, keyless access to room (via mobile app) never worked so I used my key each time

This place has a cool vibe, very colorful and was very comfortable for my mutts, as well. Finally, grabbed the breakfast on my last day, which was an added bonus. Had a joyful conversation with members of the staff, as well. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had...would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The staff was great. Professional, courteous and very helpful. It was a good location and the rooms were clean. I was a little surprised by the bit smaller size of the rooms and no coffee maker in the room. Also not a fan of soaps and lotions in the bathrooms. The were in large tubes that you squeezed and the fragrance wasn't that pleasant. Something that was un-Hilton like. Otherwise a good stay.

Awesome breakfast options for a family with picky kids. Pool was refreshing and well kept. Fitness center was nice, clean and quiet. Lobby had pool table, table size connect four, Jenga and many other games to play. Location was close to many food options for lunch and dinner, as well as entertainment options, but indoor and outdoor.

The shower could use some kind of sticky pads or something though. I did slip a couple times.

Need a new mattress in room 413. The current one was lumpy. Room door sticking. Took a lot of strength to open and close properly. Otherwise everything else was great.

We enjoyed a 2-night stay for a family funeral at the Tru Hilton Gilbert. The room was clean and comfortable, easy to keep nice and cool, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast offerings and definitely would have taken advantage of the pool and game area if we had stayed longer.

If you’re staying with family, there’s so many restaurants a walkable mall that’s out in the open, close places to go and the building staff the rooms are excellent

With the exception of the bed, everything was great. Clean, well stocked, nice temp in the room, quiet and dark. As for the bed, I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the bare floor. At some point, you need to go back to softer beds. Hard beds last longer, yes, but softer beds improve circulation and make customers happier.

Vet clean lobby and rooms with friendly staff. Breakfast was hot and delicious with 24hr hot beverage station. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the clean, beautiful pool. Overall a great experience and very affordable!

Great experience from check in to check out. Our second time staying at the same location, as it was centrally located between California and Texas. Friendly staff, clean and accommodating rooms. The breakfast was filling with a very food selection.

All od the staff members that we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Loved the lobby area and the free breakfast. The bed was super comfortable. Our only issue was how loud the AC was in our room. It was so loud that I couldn't sleep.

We arrived very late. I called ahead to advise. Hotel accommodated us. Room was clean and well stocked.

The rooms were a bit small, but we only needed to stay 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is an absolute lock! Great location and great people.

Good location, lots of dining close by, clean. Gave 4 stars because the AC unit kept us up all night the first night....shook the wall every time it turned off. Had to change rooms the next night. Other than that, good stay.

Nothing unique. I've been in worse, been in better. This is not a hotel I will pick again. Was disappointed that my room wasn't ready when I checked in. The gal at the counter immediately charged the card I had on file, not even asking if I would be using a different card at checkout. And on top of that, she stuck a $200 incidental instead of the required $100. All in all, the staff was pleasant, and if you have kids, this is probably a good place to stay, just not for me

Disappointing.

Bed was creaky and hard; uncomfortable. Walls had lots of scuff marks on them; water stain in the bathroom which meant housekeeping didnt clean the floors. Overall felt like the hotel was minimally maintained. The big low was the bed being creaky and uncomfortable.

Only complaint was the air conditioner seemed to run frequently and was noisy. Otherwise good clean room, delicious breakfast, friendlly staff, convient for us for where we were visiting.and easy convient parking.

Quiet and clean, convenient for our needs but you definitely will get that economy hotel feel.

Lovely place with hot good breakfast included, and allows pets for $50 more. Coffee bar, clean room, comfortable. Friendly front desk staff.
