From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and a huge contrast to our previous accommodations. The room was comfortable, fresh, and exactly what we needed after a stressful night. It’s clear that the team takes pride in providing a great experience for their guests. We are extremely grateful to have found Sparks Hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding customer service.

Things we liked - there was plenty of parking - the front desk staff were a friendly and helpful - the breakfast was basic and fresh every morning - coffee all day was a nice touch - The room was comfortable, clean, and large. The only thing that was a negative would be that there aren't any shops near to the hotel. That wasn't the biggest inconvenience but something to consider. The closest convenience Store was a 5-10 minute walk. Not bad at all. For the breakfast, a hot dish other than toasted bagels would have been nice.

This is the perfect hotel if you want to go on holiday in Washington, D.C. First, it’s only 15 minutes from the Metro Red Line (Shady Grove). Second, the hotel is immaculately clean with an outstanding staff. With free breakfast and free parking, you can’t go wrong with this property!

Alaina at the front desk was very helpful. Carpet in our room needed shampooing. I do morning exercises in my room and that’s how I noticed.

My wife and I stayed here to catch a Nationals game. Located far enough that it isn't busy. Staff was friendly and hotel was well maintained. The hotel is located about 2 mins from TopGolf so we were able to try that out as well. Overall great experience!

It was proximate distance to the Holy Cross Hospital, where we had to arrive by 5:45am. Much easier than driving that morning from DC, leaving home by 4am. Convenience factor a huge plus. Just wish the breakfast access had been open a little earlier as by 6 am we had to be at the hospital. But I did at least get a cup of coffee.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very welcoming and courteous and very helpful when needed. It’s true that the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the guest computer, but that’s OK. in general, I would definitely consider visiting again and recommend others.

Change the mattresses in this place! Frequent flyer here and the beds just don’t hold the Hilton standard even the pillows are flat as pancakes!

This is an excellent location for the nightly rate. Every hotel inside the beltway was 300+ a night plus parking fees and no continental breakfast. No, not a big buffet lineup of items to eat but good coffee and muffins. The rooms are clean and the maid service great. Negative was no glasses in the room or extra blankets. For the money this room was worth it. We will stay there again!

The rooms are clean, spacious, and very well maintained, and housekeeping does a phenomenal job. Crystal and Alaina at the front desk were absolutely amazing! Their energy was so warm and welcoming, and they were wonderful with my boys. I have to return to Maryland next year, and this will definitely be where I stay again!

Breakfast was so-so. No hot dishes -- e.g., eggs, bacon, sausage. OJ was watered down. Coffee meh. Parking was convenient. Quite a bit of street/road noise. Staff was nice at check-in. No one at the desk when we left. Not what I expected given the ratings on hotels.com and the price.

that’s because someone assigned my room to another guest and gave me a different room, despite my things still being in the room that I was given at check in. I was instructed to check my things for missing belongings…. That should have never happened.

Overall, good value and nice, clean hotel. Breakfast was all fresh but still a dissapointment as it was just bagels, self-serve yogurt, hard boiled unpeeled cold eggs, cereal, apples & bananas...nothing hot, no meats, waffles, pancakes, etc. Coffee station had regular, decaf & hot water with usual creams, tea & etc. BUT contrary to the print ad there the coffee was often cold. Our room was basic with a good bed - be sure to ask for extra pillows - and the bathroom was very clean and had an assortment of soap, shampoo & lotion dispensers. On our last night there, we had several small ants in our 3rd floor room which may or may not have come in on our bags or shoes...we reported this to the very friendly front desk staff upon leaving. Adequate parking, lobby seating, and good location right off I-270.

Very nice hotel, clean and up to date. Free parking. Only minor downside was super limited contenetal breakfast, just toast coffee cereal juice basically. No eggs. But that was very minor. Everything else was perfect. Check in was really long because a guest In Front of me had issue with 3rd party booking. Prolly should have requested him to step aside and work it out since many guests where waiting and able to check In Quickly. Eventually she did, but it was solid 15 min or more wait.

We stayed overnight on a Friday and there must have been a party in the area. Lots of noise in the hotel. The walls are very thin and the slamming doors did not help. The hotel itself is very nice.

I checked in very late. Staff was considerate & very nice. Allowed check in past 2am ( i did call in advance). Also gave late check out, which was needed i was very tired. For solo or couple traveling I would book again.

Staff was super nice and helpful, esp. Mauricio (early evening-10pm person). The beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and had a lot of outlets and usb charging points, location was ideal and easy to get to. Breakfast, though limited, had a lot of healthy options - almond milk, soy milk, fruits, boiled eggs. Love our stay, and will surely stay here again. ❤️

Stayed for one night, and didnt use the property as much, justvto sleep. But it was pleasant. Staff was friendly. Room clean. And the lobby pretty and clean. I highly recommend it if looking for an option in that area.

This hotel is in a great location, has the friendliest staff, one of the nicer gyms I’ve seen at a hotel, and free parking. The lobby and the rooms are nice. Breakfast included, 24 hour coffee/tea and a small store with food, beverages and sundries.

Front line Staff greeted us warmly and was most courteous to register us quickly as we arrived later than expected. The bedroom Matresses are another story and are respinsible for only too soft and comfort topper should be replaced for a more even feel than packets like a quilt. Or change them regularly to puff them up or buy some memory foam! i have a nephew who is in the mattress business who would be happy to get your hotel a good deal.

After arriving late into the evening and coming directly after driving several hours, the check in was one of the best I’ve had. The man who helped me hooked me up with a microwave dinner on the house. This was very appreciated since I had missed dinner while on the road. This is my second stay recently at a Spark property and both times I came away impressed. The business model is converting older, tired hotels into modern ones with the amenities you need and skips the frivolities that add more cost.

The room we stayed in had a window that didn't lock and was also unable to close all the way. Maybe a little attention to that detail

The room was clean but it was laid out ackward. The bathroom was hard to maneuver with a walker or a wheelchair. It was fairly large but it had no furnishings; like cups, glasses,silverware. The sink was accessible .

Fabulous 2 nights! We stayed in a king suite and the bed and linens were so comfy. The layout was perfect. Every area of the hotel was extremely clean! Every staff member was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely return!

While the hotel was clean and safe and very quiet, I have to say that the best part of the experience was Crystal. She was thebone who checked us in and she was just so warm and friendly and sweet. My boyfriend and I have talked about her kindness and excitement a couple times since staying there. Definitely planning on staying there again in a few months. Thank you for everything ❤️

Room was clan aside from a long hair in the tub. Mattresses were so so, quite soft. No ice machine on the ground floor. The staff is friendly and the gym is nice. We would stay again on a different floor.

Spend a weekend here for a soccer tournament. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

I am not sure if there are happier people on the planet than those at the Spark in GT. There were nice, friendly and excited that we were there. they were helpful and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast could be improved; they used to offer eggs and bacon, which was nice. Now it's just Beago and cereal.

I love the Hilton Hotel chain. I had not heard of the Spark by Hilton until this weekend when I had the pleasure to try it out. Such a lovely hotel. Bright and cheery, excellent staff, many breakfast choices for continental as described. I will definitely book there again when I return in October.

The breakfast is very limited, ( bagels, hard boiled eggs,cereal,yogurt) wish they had more things.overall very good place.

The staff members were absolutely delightful!! They were so welcoming and helpful. Every single staff member we saw either at the front desk, in the hallway, or outside was so nice, smiling, and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and everything worked as it should. The common areas of the hotel were well designed, inviting, and clean. I loved our stay here and definitely recommend!!

My stay was absolutely great! Staff were very accommodating to my need for an early check-in and the hotel and my room was very clean.

Stayed in order to get to a surgery center early in the morning. After dropping my wife off, I was able to return in time to enjoy breakfast and was happy to learn that checkout wasn’t until noon, so I was able to work in my room until she was awake.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and nicely updated. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but sufficient. We felt safe in the area and it was quiet. Breakfast was very nice. Plenty to choose from and plenty of seating. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

I chose this location for its proximity to Top Golf, where i was attending a work event.

Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Loved our stay here and everyone was so nice. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We spent two nights at this location. The staff was amazingly friendly. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. Great nights sleeping. My only 👎 was the lack of good OJ on the breakfast bar.

It was very noisy, unsupervised tweens running up and down the hallway at 11:30 pm. They woke me up. I had to open my door and ask them to keep their voices down.

No cups or glasses in the room for water.

The only draw back I found was... the only protein offered for breakfast was boiled eggs.
