The staff on Thursday, June 11 the front desk gentleman was amazing. He was accommodating. He was knowledgeable and he’s the person you want after a long road trip to see his face when you come through the hotel it’s just inviting. No complaints at all

The room was OK. The color scheme is absolutely hideous, bright orange blues yellow’s browns a little Brady Bunch 1970s. The primary clientele is business which we knew of course don’t expect vacation vibes. If you know what you’re getting into and you’re staying briefly on a business trip, you’d be OK. Keep in mind. This is a small hotel no conferences, but there is small meeting spaces. The indoor pool is very, very small the gym is small, but has everything you will need. One big plus is the complementary breakfast bacon sausage bagels, eggs, coffee juice this is a true breakfast every morning complementary! The hotel is located in the same parking lot as Señor tequila a very active Mexican restaurant with a nightclub on the weekends, Longhorn steakhouse, red Robin and IHOP, making it a convenient option. The worst part about the hotel however is the extremely slow Wi-Fi. You really won’t get much business done here but if you need to get online to get some work done there’s a library and a Starbucks within walking distance.

Everywhere in the whole building was clean. From the downstairs front lobby bathrooms to the eating area as well as the rooms staff was always friendly and helpful and the pool area was very clean. The breakfast was always filled up and cleaned up lots of choices in fresh fruit and juices. The only problem was parking on the weekend if you returned late because of the local restaurants nearby.We had a very nice time and we will be back.

Noise - 1 star - The restaurant sounded more like a nightclub with thumping bass. Our original room faces the restaurant and you could feel the bass. The front desk told me the music might go until midnight. They changed my room to the other side of the hotel, where these was consistent road noise. If you have a choice, the side opposite the restaurant is the better option. Room - 3 stars -The room was nice and clean. It seemed to be updated. The first room we had was a king and there was a good amount of space. The second room was a very spacious suite with a King Bed and seating area. The bed was very firm. If you are someone that sleeps on your side, plan to do a lot of rolling around. Breakfast - 3 stars - Pretty typical continental buffet breakfast that you sweat these properties. The bacon was crispy and tasty. The waffles are always the best option. The eggs wear a bit watery and the sausage rubbery. The also offer bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. stick with the bacon and waffles. Staff - 5 stars - Very friendly and accommodating.

Staff was amazing as always. However, there was an engagement party going on next door which made sleeping very much impossible due to the loudness and the # of people coming and going. I had to go downstairs around 2am to ask the front desk to do something. To her credit she asked the guests to keep it down, to no avail. In the future it would be nice to inform guests if there is a party going on somewhere close to the assigned room and not assign rooms next to the party, especially when the hotel was not fully booked. OR… enforce a maximum capacity to the room and a quietness after a certain time. I have stayed in this hotel several times and have been pleased on all other occasions but last night was just awful. No sleep whatsoever!

If I could give ten stars for the wonderful service to all staff and the cleanliness I would!

Good hotel

Bed was not comfortable but I’m pretty picky. The biggest gripe we have is actually not the hotel’s fault. This particular hotel has a Mexican restaurant in the parking lot and they have very LOUD dance music on the weekends into the wee hours. Horrible night. Not a thing we could do about it. Never again!

Excellent stay. There are several places to eat, plus a Walgreens, all adjoin the hotel parking lot. A very nice, clean room with a nice breakfast buffet. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to that area.

The receptionist who assisted me on November 16, 2025, was wonderful. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get her name, but she is a tall woman with a dark complexion, long wavy hair, and a spectacular smile. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out.

Clean rooms!! Very quiet!

Somewhat older property but clean and friendly. Good value and there is so much in the area. There is a fun Top Golf maybe a blocks walking distance and two other good restaurants very walkable. The hot breakfast was perfect for our soccer player to get something healthy before games. The suite was a tad small and it was thought to get around the sofa bed when it was pulled out but that’s our only complaint. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend this property!

We had a pleasant stay at this Fairfield in Germantown while visiting family for a few days. The property was meticulously clean and well kept. Staff were helpful. The room was good although I thought the mattress was a bit hard, but a very good shower and linens. The breakfast was better than the usual Hampton, Fairfield level as was the price. Will return when visiting the area.

Great location with evening vibe from Senor Mexican restuarent. A very sumptuous breakfast menu. Special kudos to the support staff for refilling the hot breakfast items and cleaning the tables. A bit outdated hallway carpets, something noticeable but I don’t care as long as they don’t stink.

This property is badly in need of renovation. We have stayed there many times but this time we really noticed how outdated it is. the chairs were falling apart. The showers are old and slippery. There were no safes in the room. Curtains and rods were falling down in the hallway. My hairdryer had a broken nozzle and someone had taped cardboard around it!!! Unbelievable. The maid didn't want to give me clean towels because I wasn't on her list for the day. The heating/cooling systems were very loud. The staff overall was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfy. And the tv worked.

Room was well kept and clean. No light switches by the bed so you have to get up to turn the lights out. Bottles attached to the wall in the shower we're not lined up, one was a half cm higher than the others. The lobby furniture is in very poor condition. All of that furniture should have been thrown out years ago. Breakfast was ok, not every item was fully stocked so it left people waiting around for certain things. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

WE DID NOT KNOW THEY CLEAN THE ROOMS EVERY OTHER DAY--SO WERE SURPRISED BY THE NEED TO GET OUR OWN CLEAN TOWELS FROM THE DESK AND MORE TOILET PAPER. THIS SHOULD BE POSTED WHEN WE RESERVE THE ROOM SO WE UNDERSTAND THE AGENDA ON CLEANING OF THE ROOMS .

No parking

the AC unit was terribly noisy, with rattles and clanks There was almost a grand total of 12 or 15 parking spaces next to the building. That was it. There was a huge parking lot extended but uphill and not even close to the front door or side doors. A couple of restaurants and Top Golf nearby, so every spot (except for 200-300 feet away across a sea of cars) was taken on a Friday and Saturday night after 9pm or so.. Had to get to the hotel before dinner hour to get a spot reasonably close. p.s. I am one of those people that will walk an extra 50 or 100 feet rather than drive around a lot... but this was bad.

We stopped on our way back home and the hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating. Parking was a bit crazy given all of the restaurants and attractions, but it was a Saturday in fall so we got that it was likely an anomaly.

Property and staff excellent. Property might consider adding additional parking given number of restaurants in area which compete with hotel parking.

We went for dinner and when we came back it still smelled terrible and we were not able to stay. They did advise us that they were a franchise and couldnt book us at another hotel in the area and very little help was given to help us call around. We ended up driving to the next town to find a room. I would have loved to stay as the room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable for the 2 minutes we got to sit on it.

This was a great staycation for me and my little one. Everything is literally walkable. A number of restaurants, movie t, top golf. Just a good weekend to stay especially during the snow. Coming out after the winter event everything was plowed and safe. Overall great experience

From the time we walked in the door, and met the Katherine, the General Manager at the front desk, we knew we had made the right choice. She, and the entire staff, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The hotel is impeccably clean, the beds very comfortable, and the morning brunch substantial and delicious. We will be back soon!

The hotel was comfortable with friendly staff. The hot breakfast had little variety and was sometimes out of milk, yogurt, peanut butter, etc. They served turkey sausage as the meat every day except one during our 8 day stay, which got tiring. Coffee was good.

The employees at Fairfield Inn & Suites Germantown Gaithersburg were all top rated! They were very accommodating and helpful. The women at the front desk were awesome. They were very knowledgeable and always helpful. We will stay there next time we visit our friends and relatives in the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was black mold in the tub. We were there for a short stay. I informed the front desk and they took care of it immediately. However this points to a larger problem within facilities management. This hotel should have a complete evaluation and inspection.

Parking is bad. Don’t move your car after 4pm. If you do good luck being able to park. There are 4 restaurants that use the same parking lot. Finding a spot is a cat and mouse game.

There were bed bugs found in and around the bed in the room that was assigned, only a few hours after we checked in. We checked out immediately very disgusted, did not stay the night. Disappointing as the hotel otherwise seemed pleasant and the staff was courteous.

The property is in serious need of updating but was very clean. Alice Rose is the best Property Manager I have seen in a long time. She was very professional and helpful to us. Her knowledge sharing of the DC area made our visit enjoyable.

It's quite close to a restaurant and other popular night spots, but didn't have any issues and felt safe leaving our car there overnight.

Very comfortable, with welcoming and accommodating staff. It was seamless to plan meetings there, and a good variety of complimentary breakfast options.

We checked in late in the night, and payed 180 dollars for somewhere for my wife, and 3 year old to rest for a few hours before continuing our trip down south. The room that was given to us had a large wet spot next to the bed on the floor that we just covered with a towel due to the time of night. Nothing was leaking from the ceiling so this issue could wait. Well then we turned the air conditioner on and i quickly realized i wasn't getting any rest. The very poorly serviced unit, sounded like a rocket going off every 4 minutes. I did not sleep, then when i went downstairs for a small bite to eat before i loaded up and continued the drive, i was greated with hockey puck style bagels and hard boiled eggs to ensure i wouldn't be coming back to this hotel ever again. The hotel also charged my card an additional 20 dollars with no explanation after we checked out. We requested an explanation and possible refunding due to the conditions, but nobody has returned our calls, our emails. 0 out of 10
