Loved the self-serve brews. The owner was incredibly helpful. Really excellent location within walking distance to a really cute and historic part of Georgetown. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Baxter Brewhouse. The place is clean, quaint and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well. The convenience to the boardwalk area can’t be beat. They have snacks, drinks and beer! (Though we weren’t able to get the beer going-not a big deal for us as we are not big beer drinkers) The shared bathroom was very clean, we didn’t see any other guests, but if we had, it would have been fine. I would highly recommend staying here if in Georgetown!

Had a great stay. Location was a block or two from the riverfront. Excellent spot!

I felt very welcomed when I entered the house to check in. Obviously it’s a bed in brew so I was offered a nice cold IPA even before I did my check-in. It’s a fun place to stay. There are others that don’t stay at the hotel that come just to drink so you have a lot of companionship if you want others to talk with while you’re having your beer.

Perfect spot for our weekend in Georgetown! Baxter was a great host and was incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the proximity to the waterfront couldn’t be beat. The beer and soda were also fantastic!

We had a great trip at Baxter’s Brewhouse! It is a perfect location for all activities. We walked everywhere and were super happy! I would recommend Baxter’s Brewhouse for everyone. Loved that we could sample all the Brew’s while enjoying our stay!

"Breakfast" was a keurig, oatmeal, stale muffins & granola bars right outside bedroom door, no tables or seating to eat. Like staying at a frat house.

This was our second time staying at the brewhouse, we have enjoyed it both times! It’s a nice getaway and no driving required unless you want to.

We arrived late at night and left early the next morning, our stay was pretty short. The late check-in was very accommodating. We never saw another human being the entire time we were there. The place was clean but a little cluttered, but in a homey kind of way. There was some random stuff in the closet and the drawers of the dresser, I found that kind of odd. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was not a TV in the room, which is fine with me but something to note. I was in town on business, I will likely stay here again.

Great location, just a couple of blocks from Front Street shops, museums, and restaurants. Please note that the rooms DO NOT have private baths. Three bedrooms share 2 bathrooms. The breakfast is basically coffee from a Keurig and bagged snacks. Though clean, the place could use some sprucing up and decluttering

The property was unkempt outside. Common area furniture was old and interior was disheveled. The owner checked people in at 1AM and they were right outside our room talking loudly for 30 minutes and making noise while lugging luggage up the stairs til 2:30AM. We decided to leave a day early.

We enjoyed a quiet night in a lovely house! We were just a block from the river which was very nice and right in the middle of the beautiful historic district. So thankful we found this place and do plan to return, but not on a Sunday as most of the businesses and museums were closed.

They checked in with us on our trip to recommend places to visit and dine, places they actually go, which were awesome. We were as comfortable there as if we were staying with family, the ones you like 😉 We’re already planning to return!

We had a terrific time at Baxters. Had no idea what to expect and we were surprised and delighted with every aspect of our stay. Will definitely look for another opportunity to visit Georgetown so we can stay here!

I called to inform Mr. Joseph I was travelling via car and running behind. No problem, Cheers-he said. Later while driving, I realised I would be arriving 2 hours after I anticipated so I knew I had to call during my gas stop. That’s when I saw Mr Joseph had already sent a text to check on me. I updated him with my ETA. No problem, Cheers-he said. Even though it was 1 am when I got there, I was greeted with a pleasant smile, genuine concern & it felt like my big brother waited up for me. The beer tasting was right on time and took much of the stress of the night drive away. The Inn is darling and the location ( in my Tony the Tiger voice) is Grrreat! So glad I decided to stay here! Just wish i could have arrived on time to fully enjoy. CHEERS!

If you want/need to be in walking distance to everything downtown Georgetown has to offer and are a fan of beer on tap, this is a great place.If you are looking for a bed & breakfast experience, this is not it. Breakfast is self serve kureg coffee with coffee mate and packaged muffins/granola bars/instant oatmeal.

Baxter’s is extremely convenient to Front Street and the historic district. Parking was super easy and I was able to leave my car right there and walk the whole weekend. I enjoyed reading on the porch and on the little sofa at the top of the stairs and the rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean. There was a nice little supply of refreshments in the little refrigerator and a basket they had with lots of little things for breakfast and snacks. I met some really nice people during the beer tasting they did on Saturday afternoon And Joseph and Tina are wonderful, hospitable people. I really hope I get to go back.

The beer option is a brilliant idea. It is so quaint and cozy. It feels like you’re visiting a relative. I would certainly come back again. The area is so beautiful and there are a lot of shopping and eating options a block away. Just a lovely experience overall.

I loved the homemade beer and root beer options. It was well stocked for coffee and a light breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. We will be back

Five free homemade beers on tap, that all slapped?? The host was incredible and super cool, once being already up and getting the door for me when I came back at 2AM without a key. I would love to stay here again.

The only reason for not rating this property excellent was our assumption that the brewhouse was actually a bed and breakfast. We didn't taste the beers and were disappointed that breakfast was not part of the package. Hey, nothing against beer; we're just not big beer drinkers.

Used as a one night on a road trip south. Arrived 7pm remote access via lock box (not used to having no staff on site but found it so easy) bars just a block away for a night cap. Would recommend for any Brits on a road trip. Street parking but very safe looking area.

Joseph greeted us and was eager for us to try his home brew which we really enjoyed. He let us know about the local history and his brewing journey. We had a very comfortable and quiet room with all that is needed including beer😀

First time to stay in a B & B, only a few blocks to the harbor area and dining. The rooms are perfect, lots of snacks in the main area. Clean and comfortable.The owners were great about texting me information to park and enter the property. Rooms are on the second floor and there are steps. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked
