Our room had curtains that we could not close because they were ripped. We had to use a hanger to keep them close because people could see right into our room. We prepaid for the room and then was charged again when we got there and are still awaiting a refund. The woman at the desk, unfortunately did not know how to correct it and it appears that the manager that came by did not either because the amount is still not returned to me, although the $35 incidental fee has been refunded.

This location was perfect for a visit to Raleigh. Not far from any place we wanted to go. Close to IHOP, Walmart. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast needed a daily variety, but overall we liked this hotel. Clean.

The front desk could speak new English. I paid $170 for the room. They said it was a $35 incidental fee that would be held my credit card. I get there. They charge me 170+ another $125 for incidental fee. Room smell like they have not been cleaned out in years just old, moldy, smelly, terrible place advise do not stay there

The room was very quiet and comfortable. Bedding was soft and comfy, air temp was great, ac unit was quiet, breakfast was very good, with a broad offering of treats and proteins. The staff was very friendly, energetic and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much.

I tried to get a refund from hotel because it reeked of weed smell but they said I could not get refund so I had to deal with the crap. The 2nd member of my party got sick over the smell. Hotels.com should be ashamed of that property.

Absolutely awful!!! My window was not attached if you touched it , it would fall in. We were on ground level and people were standing by the cars a couple feet from our window constantly. I was then told maintenance left so there wasn’t anything we could do and the hotel had no vacancy. The curtains did not move the tracks were short so the only closing curtains were sheer. I had to use a hair clip to pull the outside curtains shut for privacy. Gym wasn’t open, computers weren’t accessible … and I hen we returned to our room the second night there was a pocket knife on the floor beside our bed. The reviews are very misleading as I only booked this because of the 8.2 rating !!!!

The room was acceptable, except for some low water pressure in the shower, and the toilet was a little unstable. The fitness room was out of order. Breakfast was satisfactory, the staff was courteous. They have a strict no smoking policy which we appreciated.

Someone was outside in their car playing music off and on from 10pm until 3am . What time they wasn’t playing music they was outside talking loud and slamming their door inside of the hotel sounded like someone beside of us.. so NO I didn’t enjoy my stay!! Will not stay here no more…

Check in was much appreciated. We requested a king bed and she went out of her way to get the king room on first floor prepared for us. We are an elderly couple and I appreciate we had easy access to door to our car and back to our room.

Price was good. Beds and pillows were actually great. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast so can't speak on that. The staff was sooooo friendly. Nothing was in walking distance so I took Lyft. But for the price, it exceeded my expectations. No noise or sketchy people hanging around.

I rented this room for my son and his spouse upon the previous reviews recommendations. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. My son gloated on how nice and helpful the staff were as well as the cleanliness and comfort of their room. We travel quite a bit and it is always a joy to be able to stay in memorable places and be able to relax. Thank you!

My room was kind of dirty and unkept with scuff marks on the walls, patchwork not done well on the walls and handles not clean. I would’ve asked for another room however it was late and the bed in bathroom appeared to be clean enough for the night. The bed was kind of hard to sleep on as well.

The running toilet and dripping sound i didnt sleep well at all. There was a stain on the chaise and something sticky on the floor near the toilet when I checked in also.

Shower rod was hanging out of wall, no smoke detector in room, blankets had holes burnt in them, dead bugs on floor near sink, and dirty pillow cases.

We arrived late in the evening, rang the bell to enter the hotel and nobody let us in for about 15 minutes. Upon getting to our floor all we could smell was cigarettes and mildew. As soon as we got to our room and turned the bathroom light on, roaches scattered - one went into a crack between the doorway and floor. The toilet seat was very loose and the shower wouldn't shut off unless you messed with it for a few minutes. The rugs in our room had cigarette burns ( I am pretty sure I chose non smoking - or that the hotel was supposed to be smoke free as I had children with me. The breakfast was the best part of our stay. The kids loved the waffle station and the sausages.

Room didn't match the online photos, fixtures in room and bathroom were falling off the wall, bathroom wasn't cleaned well and it took 5 minutes to get hot water and by that time, the drain was slow you were standing in 4 inches of water taking a shower

Nice hotel for the money. A little old in some ways, but you can tell they have done some updates. I prefer carpet in the rooms, but they have plank flooring in them (or something of that sort). Stayed there twice now and the people working seemed nice in both experiences.

My complaint is the morning coffee. It’s one of those machine that adds water to instant coffee. Gas stations have better coffee. Also no half and half was offered on those Coffee Mate flavored creamers, which is disgusting, and full of chemicals. Why can’t we go back to traditional coffee and cream? I could walk across the street to the BP and get better coffee. I know this seems petty, but I may not choose BW in future because coffee is inportant.

The front desk associate, Toya, was amazing! She was kind, welcoming, and provided us with a ton of local recommendations. I would stay here again solely based on the amazing customer service I received.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and spacious. Location was very convenient. Staff was friendly. My only complaint is not being able to stay pay for a half day or late checkout. Our flight got delayed and we were told that is not an option unfortunately.

My first visit here last year was wonderful. This year I only booked 1 night and had to change rooms 3 times due to major issues. The breakfast is amazing. This year I was eating breakfast and noticed a small roach running across the table next to me. The staff is second to none and will do everything in their power to make your stay memorable. I love every one of them. The hotel just jeeds little upgrades and it should be back to top notch before you know it. There are plenty of great restaurants, shopping, banking, and gas stations nearby. I believe if the hotel is upgraded a bit, I would not hesitate to stay there again. I probably won't be making anymore reservations their until the updates are made.

I stayed here for a church related function. I received the most cordial and prompt customer service from one of the employees named Judy at the front desk. She made sure that my room was up to the best standard possible, which helped me be successful during my stay. I applaud her, and deem her the “golden standard” for hotel hospitality!

We booked two renovated rooms for Thanksgiving but the toilet was not working properly. The staff upgraded us to a 1 bedroom 2 bath suite which was great. They apologized for the inconvenience and even moved our bags for us. The breakfast had several options such as eggs, waffles, fruit, etc. Overall, the hotel was clean and the rooms were decent but there were several people hanging around the back of the hotel and on the steps. I would use caution especially at night, area is a little sketchy. The staff was amazing I would stay here again.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff; they were friendly and helpful. The state of the room was horrendous. The hotel grounds were not kept up and there was trash everywhere. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a refund to stay at another location. I have attached photos.

The woman who checked us in on Friday, Dec 6 was great. Very friendly, personable and informative. My daughter arrived at 5 am Dec 7 and waited over 10 min to get buzzed in. No one ever came. I had to get up and come let her in the hotel door. Other than that - our stay was great. Everyone was very friendly and personable - cleaning staff, check in staff, etc.

Room needs to be updated. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

My room had a used needle inside of the hair dryer bag, blood splatters behind bathroom door on the wall. also blood splatters on the wall between the tv and fridge and that’s no ok Also mold on the ceiling that was poorly covered with white paint. Used needle was handed over to front desk clerk still in hair dryer bag. First and last visit for me.

Everything was fine except the shower temperature was hard to adjust. It went from cold to too hot with just a small movement. It took me 5 minutes of adjusting to get it right.

Nice place to stay when you are in the area

The hotel is really run down and needs a good refresh and updating. The employees were super nice and they are just doing their job.

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was clean but the sink was slightly clogged. There were guests smoking pot when I checked in. The odor was very strong. There were empty liquor bottles in the grass by where my car was parked.

What I like about this property is reasonable price, quiet, comfortable bed, room cleanliness and convenient. Downside is heavy traffic during evening.

The bathtub faucet dripped and couldn’t turn off

On our second night there were people in the parking lot blaring music from their car and drinking. Then someone else from the hotel with their wind open blaring music out the window! Also, the way that I know the area is unsafe at night is the staff at the front desk 24/7 locks the door at a certain time at night and lets guest in when they come to the door.

Maintenance needs to visit each room and verify all fixtures, and appliances are functioning properly.

Stayed only 1 night. The check-in was flawless and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Please work on replacing the mattress -every turn or movement the mattress will squeak. The wash hand sink took a long time to drain. Surroundings were quiet and I would say not a bad place to stay.

We already had a booking at a near by hotel but the had maintenance issues so we didn’t want to stay there. We came here the front desk person was very helpful book led us a room. It’s 15 mins for the red hat amphitheater.

The room was decent and met my needs adequately, not the cleanest but not disgusting. The hallway smelled of weed and the guest upstairs may have been having a jumping contest at 1:00 am all of which I could look past because the free hot chocolate was absolutely amazing!

The lady that checked me in was polite, friendly, and informative. We need more people add the dront desk like her to greet peoples as they check in.

The bathroom walls are dirty and it appears that they mop dirt to the sides of the floor. The most disappointing part of the stay is the spring mattress bed on a metal platform that sounds like a gun going off when you move and the hard mattress. As a single Mom, I can’t afford to spend money on a bad night’s sleep. I will never stay at a Best Western anywhere again.

The stay overall was nice. The room was nice and is a good place to stay for a short period of time. The bathroom tub could have been cleaned better and the breakfast wasn't that nice nor was there even milk for cereal. But overall would give 4.5 stars.

Room was clean and the staff are friendly

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only issue was with the room itself. When we walked in, the air was very stale. It felt damp and had a strange smell to it. It was very humid in the room and did not feel super clean. There was no fan in the bathroom and you could tell that it's been so humid for so long that the walls and floors are peeling and warping because they are absorbing that moisture.

Staff were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and looked nice but our room was not. The walls had stains all over them, the floors left our socks ruined, the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever, and the bed mattress was very uncomfortable. We chose this hotel based on the great reviews we read but we were let down.

Really great staff, everyone was so kind and accommodating. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!

Some things actually had to be fixed by maintenance after we already checked into the room and unpacked. All in all, it was a place to get a good nights sleep while traveling through.

My day was just acceptable. I, really hope that you value and pay Christine accordingly because she is running around taking care of everything. With a smile! My tv would not work upon arrival and Christine came to the room and got it working. Upon my departure, the shower was cold with no hot water after leaving it running for a while. The water in the sink (outside the bathroom) was scolding hot. It was no fun starting my next trip without a hot shower.
