I stayed for a week and had a pleasant stay. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. I liked how they have a button for room cleaning (instead of a sign). There is a small gym and they offer a continental breakfast. There is a 7-11 and other fast food spots (Taco Bell) down the street. There was always plenty of parking. I wish the staircase was open to hotel guests. I was on the 2nd floor and preferred to use the stairs. It's much more convenient than always having to use the elevator. I hope the hotel changes their policy about this.

My wife and I were in town for a conference and I was happy with my stay. The room was clean and the property was well maintained. The neighborhood never felt unsafe, and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

We were in Los Angeles to spend some quality time with our grandson, and he loves staying at hotels with us. His words were "This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at!" and we have to agree with him. Over the past several years, we have stayed at many chain hotels in the LA area, and this one exceeded them all in convenient location, cleanliness and attention to detail provided by the staff. He loved the selection of breakfast items too, and he's a picky eater. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was not being able to swim at the outdoor pool, but you can't control the weather :)

The rooms and hotel was very nice and parking was great as well. The only issue were other guests screaming and fighting in the room and hallways which made it difficult to sleep.

Great place to stay. Room was clean. Good variety for breakfast and convenient coffee machine in the lobby. Also glade they have a pool to keep the kids bust. Taco Bell and Burger King are just a 3 minute walk. Gas station is right around the corner. 2 thumbs up. I always stay here when in Gardena.

When I asked the staff to address the noise, they said, "I'll call them", but nothing changed.

This hotel is not in the best part of town... But it is one of the cleanest hotels that I've been in. Don't believe that since it is inexpensive, in a not so nice neighborhood, and a best Western that you'll get sub par cleanliness. The facility, rooms, and breakfast area is spotless. I kid you not! There is a reason for the excellent reviews about cleanliness. There are very good Korean restaurants nearby also. If you want to save some money and stay in a super clean hotel, go here.

Staff was friendly always willing to help. Place was very clean. Hotel staff kept the place immaculate. Breakfast was great. Free parking cannot be beat. Close to everything, LAX, restaurants, food, downtown LA and Santa Monica. Took us 30 mins or less to every major location. Lots of food in the area and supermarkets. Laundry came in handy as we traveled with kids. Overall a wonderful experience for me and my family.

Breakfast has good selection, though the quality could be improved. We had had bad eggs, and the juice machine was not working properly. Overall we had a nice stay, the hotel location is good, and we will come back again.

I was in town for a week for work related reasons and had a good stay here. Rooms are really clean which leads to a goodnight sleep. Used the gym area and wnjoyed that as well.

Check out! The man, Miguel, was rude & kept making sharp comments, he was more concerned with eating than attending to our issues. When I told him he was behaving rudely, he made a face then started to walk away just dismissing me. All while chewing the food he kept rushing to get back to. We had to call him out 3 times. Called to talk to manager regarding my complaint/concerns & haven't gotten call back yet. Don't expect I will. Only stayed here because my family had a good experience last month when we stayed, even though was further from where we needed to be this trip. But, never again! 3 great days ruined by 5 minutes of a nasty man!

Parking!! In LA if you're looking for hotels near the airport you will find that most (if not all) list "parking available" which means they will charge for parking. Even though this Hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport, the covered free parking made it worth the drive. Service was friendly and we felt we got great value for the money.

This location is super convenient: it is only 15 minutes from the airport, which was the primary reason for booking, and parking is free, whereas other hotels charge between 15 and 50 dollars per parking spot. This place was great and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly

Hotel is just like any regular hotel, Free parking and free breakfast. I didn’t like the fact you don’t get your deposit back “if they find breakfast food in your room.” It must be eaten in the breakfast room. Cleanliness could better. Used my jacuzzi tub, but got out immediately as soon as I saw clunks of hair coming from the pump part of it. The bathroom walls and doors hadn’t been wiped down in god only knows how long. The biggest disappointment was the walls of the entire building, you can hear everything. It’s paper thin. The worst part about the entire stay was the lady across the hall and down one room screaming as if she making a porn video. We could hear it in our room and we weren’t even next to them! I can’t imagine what the people next to them had to deal with.

Surprisingly clean and tidy hotel. Rooms were in good order decently appointed. Beds comfortable. Water pressure could be stronger. Liked the 24 hour coffee and cappuccino machine in the lobby. The pool was a mini one but the small kids using it didn’t seem to care. Breakfast was included in our fare. It was okay. Sufficient enough to fuel me for the day. We used the gym and it was good enough for our boxers to use treadmill and to shadow box. If ever needed to be in the Gardena Compton area again I’d choose this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had very good options daily. The guest laundry room was nice and clean also. My experience at the hotel was very good. The breakfast room worker was extremely helpful and she always kept the area very clean.

Large room with two king beds (I couldn't believe it until I saw it) and large bath. Very quiet. Immediate neighborhood is not impressive, but the hotel is only within 15 minutes of Manhattan beach.

The property is clean and staff are friendly. My only concern is the location of the property. When you go out of the hotel, it is dark and homeless people are outside.

The hotel is great, especially if you want something nice for a reliable and reasonable price. I go there every time our family goes to LA area. That is where we stay. They have amazing breakfast. Everyone that works. Their staff wise is amazing and it’s quiet. It’s perfect. There’s a gym. It’s just great. I love going there. It’s very clean. It’s everything you want in a hotel maybe except for a beachfront view other than that it’s awesome and it’s budget friendly.

Needing lodging for 10 days in an area I was unfamiliar with was challenging: Pay $110 and risk my life or $220 and go to the poorhouse! At $160, the Best Western - Gardena proved to be a Godsend! “Julissa” at Check-In assured me of a quiet, top floor room away from traffic noise when I was 4 hours away. The lobby was simply elegant. My room was so spacious and beautifully done, I videoed it for family sharing! Manager “Vic” congratulated me for pointing out a couple room loose ends - unprecedented in my experience! But the star of this wonderful property goes to Ludi Ramos! She runs their breakfast operation with the focus of a hawk; she oversees housekeeping and is beloved by her staff; and personally sees to it that any pending room adjustment is taken care of the same day! And a modest-sized indoor parking resource leaves me with the thought, “What a jewel of a hotel!” Thank you, Best Western, for so blessing travelers to the L.A. area!

This place was truly impressive. It’s really nice, specially for the area. Not sure if it was recently renovated but everything was in great condition. The interior architecture really gives off a great energy walking in. The breakfast options were top tier, but go early because everyone feels the same and it gets crowded.

Staff was very nice, their breakfast buffet was very nice with many delicious options and a full staff keeping everything running smoothly. Covered parking on a first come first served basis, check in was easy, since you need your key to access everything including the elevators and floor makes it even more of a secure feeling. Inside was very well maintained with a fresh clean look and smell throughout the building, our room was just as fresh with absolutely no smell if smoke or any other foul odors. Do not be fooled by the drive to the property, it may seem a bit rough but it is far from it, best part was no noise and being on the 2nd floor with their nice workout room across from us and the breakfast room a mere 20' away, it was still very quiet. This is s diamond in the rough since we stayed here while visiting Long Beach. Who ever is in charge of this motel deserves a kudos.

Having said that, the property itself was very nice on the inside, having been upgraded in 2016 I was told. The staff was courteous and professional, and the lobby was really well done. The room was outstanding, with blackout curtains, and very nice fluffy towels in the well lit and spacious bathroom. Again, the area could be better but for the price and quality, this cannot be beat.

The room was clean but in the night I killed a couple small bugs in the bathroom. The area of the hotel wasn’t the best and I didn’t feel safe.

The front desk staff were cold and not approachable. I tried to reach the front desk to ask about the fan in the room via the phone in the room, but the phone did not work. I had to go to the front desk and ask. The receptionist answered my question in a very cold manner.

I had a king suite and it was a clean, and nice room. Alittle noisy because of the traffic, ambulance noise, and horns honking. I believe the windows need to be double paned so that it blocks out the noise. Otherwise, it was a good bargain and the staff were very nice and accomodating.

Good stay overall. Breakfast variety was great and tasted good and free self parking was a nice addition. We arrived late after an event so the garage was full, had to park in outdoor parking spaces. Only issues were with the bathroom experience. The water pressure for the shower as well as the sink were not good. And the soap bars offered are very soapy and hard to rinse off, so trying to rinse with that low water pressure is near impossible. The shower head is a “rain” style shower head which are horrible for good water pressure. I recommend having those changed for smaller regular higher pressure shower heads.

While the hotel's location differed from my expectations, I encountered no issues, as the front desk kindly informed me of the security cameras throughout the premises. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Hotel was wonderful. Not the nicest area, but it didn’t feel dangerous. Super clean, friendly service, spacious and comfortable rooms, gated and free parking. Also free breakfast, but we had to leave super early in the mornings so we didn’t get to try it.

My favorite place to stay when I’m coming to visit family in Compton

It was a pretty clean place to stay. Some of the staff is helpful and friendly and proactive and other others didn’t even look up when you came in. The breakfast is great! That’s in the context of a continental breakfast. However, the area that it is staying in is very rundown. I’m actually surprised that this best Western is in such nice condition. So coming in from out of town I was unaware until a friend from the area told me I shouldn’t walk around that area on foot.

Dirty room, lots of smokers right outside my door, maid knocked I had to open door 9am with the do not disturb sign on door. Told staff about it and was just brushed off like it wasn’t even slightly a concern or an apology or anything just ok bye !

Power was out on the whole block and I was stuck on elevator for about an hour. I called my son and ask him to go downstairs to lobby to let the admin know, but he could not use the stairs because the doors were locked ?? Stair doors should not be locked. Also, when I was stuck on elevator, I noticed their elevator inspection certificate has been expired since 10/10/2023.
