Reviews
The hotel offers a fun and enjoyable experience for families, with a great water park and various activities for kids. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness, parking fees, and certain aspects of customer service.
- Great water park for kids
- Various activities and entertainment for families
- Cleanliness issues in some rooms and areas
- Expensive parking fees for guests
- 3/5
Everything was fine. Just be aware before you arrive: there are rooms that are clean but smell really bad—like an old man. Also, keep in mind that you’ll be going back and forth a lot—up and down, up and down.
- 3/5
Expensive, carpets needs to be clean. Staff won’t help you with luggage. They seem to be tired of people,

We stayed here for 3 days. After visiting other GWL locations in other states, we can say assuredly that this location is the worst so far. There was an issue with the booking being for the wrong type room and the staff were unable or unwilling to change rooms, even though we offered to pay for the difference. The waterpark was crowded, not well cleaned, and let's just say the clientel in SoCal is a little ghetto. The Dunkin Donuts was a madhouse in the morning, you had to order at a kiosk, then stand in a crowd of 30 people to wait for your food, and then stand in a SECOND line to pick out your donuts. And they ran out of donuts by 9am, so they had to give refunds.
- 4/5
This place is great, but our room did not have air conditioning in one of the rooms, which made our stay less pleasant than it should have been. The hotel seemed to be aware of this beforehand and left a fan but still had us in the room, which felt icky.

Yes well organized and helpful

If you have kids and want them to be entertained, happy, and fully immersed in the vacation experience, this is the perfect place. You completely lose track of time and location because the property is thoughtfully designed for both kids and parents to have fun together. There’s great food inside the resort, plus many excellent dining options within walking distance. Enjoy
- 5/5
Loved it, perfect for family and friends. All in one place with rooms, food and lots of fun with the game center, bowling, slides/swimming etc. I can't wait to go back. We had our two grand daughters 2 and 4. They had a blast.. Memories made and will last a lifetime.

It is expensive for the quality of the lodge and indoor water park

Muy limpio y confortable
- 1/5
Staff was great but the food, hotel, rooms were sub par for the money and experience. Very dirty. Will not be back.
- 5/5
Muy buen tiempo en familia
- 4/5
It was a family friendly place. There was lots of activities for the kids. Staff was nice and helpful. My room was clean. However the bed and pillows were uncomfortable way too soft and small. The blanket that was in the bag for sofa bed sleeper was covered in hair and I had to ask for a new coffee maker cause the first one was dirty. The new one just leaked water every where and took forever to make one cup of coffee. Last the parking is convenient but you pay for it at $35 per day/night. The buffet was not very good and too expensive. The pizza was great! The water park was fun!
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful
- 5/5
Excelente servicio
- 4/5
Unfortunately, we didn't know they were under construction…. So not all places were available.
- 5/5
This is my first time in Great Wolf Lodge and my family and I love it so much,we definitely want to come back soon!!100%recommend!!
- 5/5
Muy bonito lugar para venir con niñ@s a difrutar tanto como ellos como adultos tienes todos el día cosas q experimentar y aser se los recomiendo muchísimo
- 5/5
Loved the stay!!!!! the water park is awesome!!! amenities was great to many things to do inside property, and close to DISNEYLAND
- 4/5
Everything was clean inside the lodge. If you come on weekend the swim area is to crowded and no where to sit, water was dirty. Need pamphlets to know what is going on. Easy check out. Family friendly close to knotts and Disneyland. Parking is 35$ a day on top of everything
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excellent place to have a good day with the family.
- 3/5
Preferred the Phoenix location compared to California. Everything was chaos when we first checked in. Closed off sections not just one section of amenities for construction. Want the best experience. The food offered in Buffet was not good and paid $80 for 2 adults and 1 child. Definitely not worth it😬 the floors in the room and hallways were unkept as well😣
- 2/5
Rude staff when you bring up issues. They only clean rooms and bathroom necessities every 3 days. during our stay 50 % of the resort was closed due to remodeling
- 5/5
As a childless person, I can only hope to never visit a Great Wolf Lodge ever again. ;) However, if you have kids and want them to be entertained for countless hours while you charge drinks to your room- then look no further! S & J Gran Cafe around the corner was great for breakfast outside of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk and the El Super was great for snacks and drinks with a heavy Mexican influence (obviously). The Shawarma House heading the other direction looked amazing but sadly we didn't get the chance to try it. Looked like a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy.
- 5/5
Great stay. Our grandson enjoyed so much
- 1/5
Bed bugs my toddler got bit
- 5/5
This hotel was very kid/ family friendly and a great value for what you got with the stay. The kids loved the waterpark and the bunk beds.
- 1/5
There for 4 night, never had a someone came inside to tidy up the room. We were gone to Disney and comes back just to sleep
- 5/5
Love it
- 3/5
The staff here are so rude. Every single time I come, they are rude and could not be bothered. The lines are insane. It doesn’t matter what day you go or what time of the day, expect to wait in an incredibly long line. There’s no microwaves in the rooms, no room service, they are doing work right now in the buffet was absolutely awful so the only other option was pizza. It doesn’t matter if you return the towels, they are still going to charge you for unreturned towels… Everything is just so overpriced and the staff is rude and the amenities aren’t great. That might be our last time at Great Wolf.
- 4/5
- 4/5
The property is huge, but everything except for the pool costs extra. They are in the process of building an outdoor pool, which will be a nice addition.
- 4/5
The grandkids loved this place. The staff was kind and helpful. The only drawback, as with most theme parks, the food was pretty pricey
- 4/5

- 4/5
To be as expected, I really enjoyed the fact that they had a lot of entertainment for the kids and a lot of activities. The food choices weren’t super great but overall we had an amazing time.
- 2/5
Has a renovation going on, noises and could not open curtains due to construction staff walking by. Shower curtains not well, allowed water to spray outside bath tub which soaked my clothing; asked for coffee to Manager who said they would send it down, that never happened. Beds uncomfortable. I have stayed at GW in Manteca CA which I love. Anaheim was very disappointing. I would like a full refund
- 5/5
The rooms do not have microwaves. They're in the common area.
- 5/5
Kids have so much fun
- 3/5
Front Desk staff has an unpleasant attitude
- 3/5
Due to the construction, many things were unavailable. The restaurant was gone so they only had the buffet available, which was subpar. Not many food choices and it was in a dark room with only a few tables. The water part was very dirty with food containers, cups and trash littering the walkways and chairs. There was hair or hair extensions in the pools and I didn't see any cleaning staff while there, we stayed for a couple hours. Overall disappointed as we weren't aware of the construction.
- 3/5
Not the best maintained not even close to the picture. Don't get excited with reviews. Is just average place maintained mediocre. I found blood spot in one of the old sheets. The waterpark was plus, but didn't met the expectation. Close the Disney, we thought we'd stay one day at waterpark but after seeing how well it maintained decided to visit beach instead.
- 3/5
It was also spring break and incredibly busy. Maybe there were staffing shortages. I don’t know. But I don’t think we would choose to stay at this location for longer than a weekend again.
- 5/5
This is the perfect hotel foe a family to have few days off from Disneyland. Close to the park and lots of entertainment for the downtime. We will be coming back.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Check in is too slow on a Saturday more iPad check in are needed
- 2/5
I’m very disappointed with my current stay. The waterpark is partially under construction, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. In addition, there was no hot tub and the water in the other areas wasn’t warm enough to enjoy.
- 4/5
Room was clean, comfy, but showing its age. Water park appeared overbooked, very “attended”. Third party parking garage was efficient. Didn’t try the 3rd floor buffet for breakfast or dinner. Designed for and catered to kids in noticeably successful ways.
- 4/5
Activities where appropriate and had ample choices bad thing that it was under renovation and a lot of the property was closed off or off limits
- 5/5
Great place, lots to do, my opinion park is better then raging waters
- 4/5
Great place but it was a shame the restaurants were closed due to construction. They should have charged less or maybe they did, but I wasn’t aware of it when paying.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Good value. My kid had a blast!
- 1/5
Room was fine. Hotel was in renovation outdoor pool closed part of indoor closed. They never tell you this when you call and book. This was my 5th visit to this chain first time to this specific one. Garden grove was worst GWL experience
- 3/5
There’s black hairs everywhere I felt I saw. The floors were not cleaned and instantly felt that walking in the room. I had to put my sandals back on it was gross. The pool area needs someone cleaning throughout the day it’s so nasty too
- 3/5
The hotel and rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, but the whole hotel is under construction. There were jackhammers blasting the whole time we were there. No heads up before we booked about it either. The MagiQuest stationed had been moved to emergency stair corridors and some weren’t working. Don’t go until the construction is over.
- 4/5
The amenities and activities for kids are unmatched. There is so much for kids to do, if you are willing to pay for it all of course. They have a new ropes course, a new mini golf and a rope play set they call the Adventure Trail. Currently the inside restaurant and outdoor pool area are under construction - so they are clearly updating the property which is great. The food is awful. There is no redeeming quality. For $100 we ate Uncle Ben's rice, Bush's Baked Beans and Idahoan boxed mashed potatoes (I am being 1000% serious) on questionably clean dishes. We bought a hot plate and made food in the room, 10/10 recommend that or Door Dash. There are a lot of places to eat nearby but you have to pay to exit the parking garage and get a new ticket when you come back, so we chose not to drive anywhere. The rooms are gross. It is my understanding they are updating them, but we cloroxed the entire room. The kids feet were black within minutes of taking their shoes off, so we wiped all the floors down as well. Now, please understand we expect this - this is a hotel for kids where they are swimming indoors and going back to the room soaking wet. We know this, however there is a lot that could be better. The light in our room flickered in the kids room and the living area light didn't turn on at all. The counters were also really gross and clearly hadn't been "cleaned." We still enjoy our stay.

- 5/5
Cleaner room, there's construction going on so we were confused where everything was. Also, the strong chlorine smell that burns your eyes wasn't so welcoming when going to the park. Maybe ventilate a little
- 5/5
Overall was a fun and convenient place to stay with kids for a week and going to Disneyland some of the time. Lots of loud construction happening in the building and rooms not cleaned real well during stay. Had to request for more towels and toilet paper during our stay.
- 5/5
everything good 👍

Love it! Went with my two boys 9 and 4 yrs and had a great time
- 4/5
Yes. My kids enjoyed our stay. They loved the waterpark. The location is very good to us.
- 5/5
Everything was great from start to finish! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made our stay even better. The water park was definitely the highlight it was fun for all ages and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
It’s under construction so not much to do and the Buffett is terrible! For the price I could’ve gone to Sushi. One and done. Never going back!
- 5/5
Awesome
- 2/5
Started with parking which was disorganized and the staff couldn’t answer questions about it. The parking app wouldn’t load and it ultimately cost over $100 to park and the price wasn’t listed on the booking site. Once inside I waited in a line out the door for the self serve check in. Once it got to our turn it has to send you a confirmation text, which didn’t work, so then I had to go wait in the desk line which was even longer! Finally get through and they said I would get a text at 4 when my room was ready. 4 pm passes, 5 pm passes, I finally go wait in line again to see why I didn’t get a text and they say “oh, your room is already ready” and I get the impression it had been for a while, so why no text?! Climbing park was an up-charge which equals about $1 minute and half that time was spend bumping into people and backtracking because there is no forwards and backwards. Just a disorganized mess. Bowling was weird with small short lanes. Fine for kids around 6 years old, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend. The wand game was a good idea, but $70 was crazy. You buy this expensive piece of plastic and they still charge you a separate fee to play the game. Like seriously? The $60+ I paid for this thing doesn’t cover the game that it’s used for? We had fun in California doing lots of different things and while the stay at this hotel was meant to be the highlight, it definitely was not
- 4/5
Many workers could use an education in customer service, a lot of construction going on, not a bad stay but could be much better.
- 5/5
Amazing staff and fun stay with the family
- 5/5
Great room & water park
- 2/5
The checkin was painful as I used a 3rd party app to book the trip. It was a nice hotel it was just too busy.
- 1/5
I Had bed bugs in my rooms
- 5/5
Plenty activities for all ages and probably my best experience at a great wolf lodge
- 4/5
Yes
- 4/5
Water got turned off for three hours in the morning.
- 4/5
We had a great time! No issues! Property was clean and staff were very friendly! Definitely worth a visit with little ones!
- 3/5
The pool area was packed which is fine but there was trash on the ground everywhere! Also there was poop from a dirty diaper in one area and also lots of trash (band aids ect) floating in the crazy river.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent at this resort. Definitely booking another Great Wolf Lodge stay.
- 5/5
Check in staff Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable. Waterpark was great lots of activities for kids
- 5/5
Everything were outstanding.
- 3/5
Phone didn’t work the whole time in the room. Apparently no maid service to clean the room. Renovations going on that caused major noise around the facility and there was no warning about it on booking.
- 4/5
The room was clean, the bar was nice but they need to clean the area around the pool. We saw some questionable “things” on the ground. The check-in line is always long but at least this time it’s wasn’t too bad and the woman that helped us Katie was so nice. She worked out our room issue.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Overall, Visit was great besides the fact that my wristbands wouldn’t always scan, but the staff was great about making accommodations. One thing I can’t say is every single vending machine was empty so when you wake up thirsty and you wanna go to the vending machine, it wasn’t available, but I must say they still made accommodations and open the gift shop so I could purchase something to drink so even though it wasn’t available, they made it happen

Water was shut off and there was construction going on we could of got a discount or a heads up.
- 4/5
It’s definitely a lot of things for kids to do. You do have to pay for things separately or add to your reservation like for the buffet area mini golf and other activities within the resort. You also have to pay for parking outside from your reservation which I was not thrilled about. The staff was amazing though. Great experience for the kids.
- 3/5
Honestly, the were going through renovations in the lobby and not an issue. That is normal as things improve. The problem was the room wasnt clean and never cleaned once while we were there. The other issue, my goodness the food was so bad. Just dont eat a buffet in this place. It honestly was something we will laugh about for a long time.
- 5/5
Very goid
- 5/5
the property needs improvement
- 1/5
Unfortunately this is our first and last stays in this hotel. The simple fact that communication is not clear is beyond me at a family park.
- 5/5
Currently under renovation. I bet it will be great once done.
- 1/5
Reserved 4 nights stayed 1 very dark and gloomy, lots of people with unruly kids, rude staff and rude guests lots of drunk parents. The buffet restaurant was WAY overpriced and not good food, shower didn’t work, heard gun shots in the middle of night. Better places to stay that are more affordable
- 5/5
Pool was amazing and staff was amazing
- 1/5
I’m writing to request a refund for my daughter’s 10th birthday trip. The hotel didn’t meet the advertised standards. The occupancy regulations were lax, resulting in overcrowded and noisy rooms next to ours. We even encountered drug use in the rooms, and the smell permeated our space. To make matters worse, the outdoor pool area was closed, and the restaurant was also shut down. Several of the quest items we purchased didn’t work. Despite spending a significant amount of money, we couldn’t fully enjoy her birthday, which was truly disappointing.
- 5/5
Clean room easy check in all staff were amazing
- 3/5
Chaotic and everything is closed as of 3/13/26
- 2/5
Garbage everywhere, hour long wait to check in. I had 3 rooms booked for an entire week for work, which wasn't cheap. The guest room walls were paper thin.
- 5/5
We took our 3 year old for her birthday and she enjoyed it all , the waterpark , the arcade just everything. We also enjoyed it all
- 5/5
We really enjoyed ourselves. There was a mixup and they were able to help me correct it due to my own fault. Within 10 min of Disneyland. And the water park was amazing my 3 year old and 2 old loved it.
- 3/5
They are currently doing construction so the outdoor pool is closed among other things. Some staff are rude for no reason. The tub was dirty. Other than that it was ok
- 5/5
We had a great time. There was a lot of construction going on but, my nephew and us had a lot of fun.
- 4/5
Staff was nice. The room had somw smallnissues but nothing bad. Only wish we would uave been told there was a $400 deposit before we got there instead of expedia jsut saying we are good to go.
- 2/5
Check in isn’t really at 4. You have to wait till a room is available. Could wait 1 to 2 hours. The rooms felt dirty
- 5/5
Very good place to stay if you wanna have a cheaper place to stay to visit disney and other places in Orange county!
- 5/5
Clean room, professional staff. Alot of activities for kids different ages

We love Great Wolf.

- 3/5
Bathroom, tub specifically was outdated. It looked dirty. We had to call for service on TV twice in the 4 days we were there.
- 4/5
The stayed was great but the housekeeping was terrible we stayed for 4days and they never came to clean our room. Staffs were very friendly unfortunately outdoor pool was close and one of the main indoor pool was unavailable. Hopefully next time we can experience both pools.
- 2/5
I had to call from my personal phone, thank God I had one … they did promise that security would come up and take care of the disturbance . All phones in all occupied rooms should work in case of emergency … Other than that a very good trip to celebrate our grandsons birthday ..
- 1/5
Nerd to speak to hotel structure shut down tv didn’t work
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
great place for the family
- 3/5
The hotel had trash in the elevators and hallways. They charged me 40.00 for pool access on the day we checked in even thought the pool was closed already. And no one told me that they charge 35.00 a day for parking even as an overnight hotel guest.
- 5/5
January was a great time of year to get away from the Wisconsin winter. It was not crowded. Only things missing are hot tub and a microwave in the room
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean environment
- 4/5
Room was nice, staff was great, but there was construction going on in the lobby late at night and the noise carried up to the third floor and made it hard to sleep.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Kind staff
- 5/5
Room was great! Big enough for a family of 5 without feeling overcrowded. All amenities available onsite, you don’t have to leave the premises. There was plenty to do even if certain attractions were closed down for maintenance. You are also able to access all attractions before check-in and after check-out. An excellent choice for a long weekend stay.
- 1/5
Dirty
- 4/5
Breakfast buffet was excellent!! I think our waitress was Delores was very kind. I love all the amenities. Food was very expensive at the steakhouse and waterpark. My room was pretty steamy although I adjusted temperature it didn't seem to regulate. The downside was that my room was not very clean. We got in pretty late and that morning i realized that my bed sheets and pillows were stained, the staff responded and had my room cleaned.
- 4/5
GWL Staff was friendly and helpful. With the exception of the Hilton sales people promoting their time share packages. They were annoying, caused us some confusion. We thought they were concierges on initial contact.

We left the next day without the breakfast. We were treated like we didn't matter. Even though we spent a lot there. We had to keep going to the front desk for assistance. It like they were setting us up to get us to leave, so we just did.

The experience in cleaning the rooms is horrible

Staff especially valet.

Everything was up to standard
- 5/5
The pool was great but cold .. last year it was warmer even the baby pool was cold
- 5/5
Rooms were so so. We got the refreshed ones. They were okay. But the facility was great. 7 water slides, wave pools, glow in dark mini golf and kiddo bowling. 9/10
- 1/5
DO NOT stay at this hotel. Too much noise. Overcharged after check out
- 5/5
pool slide very exiting
- 3/5
The wait to check in was extremely long and then we had to wait again when
- 3/5
Staff was very courteous, room lacked small table and chair, did not like sink in sleeping area. Everything was expensive felt nickeled and dimed to death. I think a local cruise is a better deal.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great time
- 1/5
This was a horrible hotel experience. The facility was dirty, the cleaning staff emptied the room garbages but did not refill toilet paper, tissues or towels, the beds were unmade and the pull out sofa did not have sheets that fit it. The staff was rude and the room thermostat would not hold temp
- 5/5
Love to come back
- 1/5
I saw cockroaches in the water park. The food was nasty, I tried the pizza and wings and the buffet and also I trired the food by the water park! All of it was uneatable. Wouldn’t go back to that place again.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing

The room was dated and taps and cistern was broken.

Carpets in common areas were very dirty. You could see the areas of dirt

Very good place to bring kids go
- 1/5
Horrible experience. Room wasn’t what was advertised. A worker was rude . And I paid late check out and last minute they told us we had to leave. Made no sense .
- 5/5
Friendly staff, Our family enjoyed.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
good
- 2/5
Room was old and dated, poor lighting, cold water tap was too hard for a child to even turn on..
- 5/5
The room was spotless, staff was incredibly helpful, kind and professional.
- 5/5
Super easy check in and checkout. Lots of fun for my 10 year old daughter.
- 2/5
While I was sitting at the kiddy pool with my 4 daughters, the security opened the back doors and let a few paramedics in. They came back out with a covered dead body on a stretcher and wheeled the grey colored body out through the actual kid pool area. I was horrible.
- 3/5
The room was damp, the comforters felt damp and humid when we got there. The carpet smelled dirty. The waterpark was packed, the structures were rusty, the chairs had spiderwebs. The smell of chlorine burned the eyes, meaning the water was dirty. The signs to each ride were confusing, my kids had a hard time understanding what line was for what. Room didn’t even have a microwave. For a $600 stay for two nights, I expected a kitchenette, an actual suite. The wolf den was just a regular room, the area around the lodge was dirty, ghetto, gross. I would absolutely never go there or recommend it to anyone. Highly overpriced.
- 3/5
No place to sit except on the bed. No place to set your luggage but on the counter or the bed
- 1/5
The air conditioning didn’t work in our room. The freezer didn’t work in our refrigerator or they didn’t have one. The rooms weren’t clean. There wasn’t service regularly and the front desk. Receptions were terrible and rude.

We had to switch from two different rooms because they both broken.
- 5/5
Stay was exceptional! Food server so great. Food delicious and clean. Room very clean. Not for people who want bouji. Perfect for family with kids.
- 5/5
Great stay loved this place
- 3/5
Really old and doesn’t appear to be well maintained
- 2/5
The staff is not friendly except the lady that worked in the little store on the main level she was sweet. They did not give the wolf ears, they did not inform you if you want your room clean to ask, the parking is terrible the cost to stay there then an addition 109 for parking. Customer service needs to be looked at!
- 5/5
Good with family with kids
- 5/5
nice service! clean. would definitely go back!
- 5/5
Great waterpark! Lots of chlorine which is good but also good to know if you’re sensitive to it. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was always nice and helpful! Plenty of parking and good signs. Great trip thanks!
- 5/5
close to disneyland and the staff were friendly
- 4/5
Rooms need deep clean
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
My kids loved the MagiQuest
- 5/5
Overal it was a great experience. The kitchen staff in the waterpark area were amazing! Bartender included. Housekeeping crew were working hard daily turning over rooms and keeping it clean. The feont desk, especially Jose was super accommodating and stayed calm even when the busy weekend brought chaos. He had a wonderful way ro deal with people under pressure! We also wanted to acknowledge the valet crew and Christian. Exceptionally professional and courteous. Thank you for a wonderful first-time family experience at Great Wolf Anaheim!
- 5/5
Very kid friendly
- 5/5
First stay at great wolf, would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
Was not impressed. It’s a motel with some water slides and creepy parking attendants. The plumbing was bad and the sink wasn’t. the bathroom. It’s way too overpriced for what it is. Just stay at a motel 6 and go to Disney!
- 3/5
Check in at GWL is a mess if it’s busy- you are supposed to get your room by 4pm but we didn’t get into our room until 630pm on the first night even though I was told the room was actually ready around 5 however I didn’t recieve any notification (which I was supposed to). I had checked in with front desk around 430 (had to lineup for about 30mins to speak to someone) and they said I would receive a message when it was ready We just played in the waterpark but still pretty annoying. I will be following up with Expedia to see what went wrong but it seems to be an issue with attention to detail on whoever actions these bookings. I would probably skip Expedia and just book direct next time as I didn’t realize what a cluster things could turn into when someone can’t do their job properly.
- 5/5
Ten out of ten for sure. We will be back!!
- 5/5
There are so many things to do here. We also like it that there is ART bus that comes to the hotel and takes us to Disneyland and back again. Also EVE to take us to the airport. Very convenient for bus.
- 5/5
Love this hotel! In addition to the great water park, the hotel and rooms are cozy, clean and very family friendly. The rooms are also surprisingly quiet considering the amount of families staying here. Close to Disneyland which is a plus. Highly recommend!
- 1/5
The room when I booked stated 6 maximum. But then I had to pay $20 each for the 5th and 6th person. Totally disappointed!
- 5/5
I am a great wolf frequent customer and the only thing I can say this location needs a remodel in some areas
- 1/5
I have nothing good to say
- 4/5
Room was not handicap friendly .. The blankets were thin .. Gift shops and water park and game zone and pizza and ice cream was great .. Loose Moose buffet was not worth the price .. Overnight parking waa a bit expensive
- 5/5
We love the great wolf lodge
- 4/5
Super dated. They need to remodel.
- 2/5
Also never saw or talked to anyone in housekeeping, so in the evening after I first full day there, I spoke to someone at the counter (as no one answered at the front desk or answered the housekeeping line) so the person I spoke to said “bcs we’re staying for several days we have to request someone to tidy up our room and bring clean towels. I asked for someone to please come in on the second day to take out trash and replace towels I was told they made note and housekeeping would be there the next day. No one ever showed up… I was under the impression we were on the same page when I walked away from the front counter. Guess not… soo frustrating.
- 5/5
Bus stop not ecv friendly. Beast staff and resort
- 1/5
Parking sucks. Don't plan to leave, if so you have to pay for parking again.
- 5/5
I like how they have a lot of activities for the kids and it is a very safe place for them as well. What I don’t like is it definitely needs to have some remodeling carpets are very dirty. I also think parking is a bit pricey.
- 5/5
The carpet bit pretty gross. You would want to put on some slippers to be in the room because this is a kid place. I wasn’t even comfortable with my three year-old nephew rolling around. He was the reason why we booked this place . There was a elevator permit that was expired posted on their elevators
- 5/5
Enjoyable staycation with the family with in interactive activities.
- 5/5
over all the waterpark is awesome only the AC in 103 is very loud
- 5/5
10/10
- 3/5
The rooms were great. Spacious and clean and delivered that lodge theme experience. The area around the pool area however was very dirty and mainly because people just walk there with their slippers that they probably walk in the streets as well. I think it would be great if they enforce to allow water shoes, beach shoes only. The matts around the pool area had deep dirt to it. I expected a supper clean area since kids are the primary users. Also they need better venting system as the smell ( pool water, chlorine+ urine :) ) was very strong. I took my niece there and she had a great time, but I think we will just stick to outdoor beach.
- 5/5
Loved this place kids had fun and enjoyed everything!! 😌
- 5/5
Great place for families with young children.
- 5/5
It’s close to Disney and has a great water park
- 5/5
Great great wolf. Loved the water park
- 1/5
Horrible if I could give 0 stars I would. The place was flirty. My grandson got hurt on the water slide. Food was disgusting. Employees gave out wrong info.
- 4/5
The rooms and facilities are showing their age with worn furniture, dated décor, and overall in need of some upgrades. Communication from staff was inconsistent, and at times we were given unclear or incorrect directions which caused unnecessary frustration. Another downside was the dining situation. Since we were not there on the weekend, only one restaurant was available for dinner instead of two, and unfortunately, the food at that restaurant was disappointing. One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of a luggage storage option. At other Great Wolf Lodges we have been able to store our bags and enjoy the water park before check in. Here, when our room was not ready at 4 PM, we had no option but to wait, missing out on valuable water park time. Overall, we had a fantastic time as a family, but this location could greatly benefit from upgrades, improved staff communication, more consistent dining options, and offering luggage storage like other properties. With some improvements, this could easily match the magic we have experienced at other Great Wolf
- 5/5
Front desk customer service was amazing. I had a not so good experience two years prior and the management team took extra good care of my family this go around. Overall a good stay. We are returning soon.
- 5/5
From food to room this place is amazing

- 4/5
We always have a good time at the great wolf lodge.
- 5/5
Our family had an awesome visit!
- 5/5
Great place. Lots of fun. The only thing I didn't like was that we paid for parking in the garage, then after that, they told us about the in out parking. It would have been nice to know ahead of time.
- 5/5
excellent
- 5/5
Waterpark
- 5/5
Great park
- 5/5
Best hotel I ever went!!! I wanna come back here with my kids again
- 5/5
First time going with the family and we had a blast
- 4/5
Great indoor activity!
- 4/5
Kids had fun, park was good could have been cleaner. The food is overpriced and horrible specially at the restaurant ( not the buffet) My husband paid almost 50 dollar for stake and mashed potatoes asking medium well. They brought the stake almost burned and dry. I wish they could upgrade their menu and add more healthy choices and paid close attention to how they serve the food. Staff are very friendly, caring and hard working l.
- 5/5
Lots of things to do
- 5/5
Front desk is very informative, very nice and attentive. The water park is very fun for the all kids and where they can be entertained. Staff keep areas very clean. Love our stay here, can’t wait for the next time we visit.
- 5/5
It was our first time. Great experience. Staff is really really nice. We really enjoyed ourselves and we plan on booking again
- 4/5
Great hotel with a lot activities for kids.
- 2/5
Front desk was so mean, even the supervisor
- 2/5
Beware of unauthorized fees! They charged me for towels even after I return them. I was on hold for almost 2 hours trying to resolve the issue and I still haven’t seen the credit. It’s ridiculous! The rook itself was great. No complaints about that whatsoever, just the unauthorized fees that they snuck in ain’t cool at all!
- 2/5
I don't think we come back here again.unsafe place
- 5/5
The best
- 5/5
I was able to grab a great deal with Expedia. Hotel had a cheer competition going on but still felt spacious and water park had plenty to do.
- 3/5
Not what I was expecting but decent trip overall
- 5/5
Great location for families with children on the spectrum. My 4yr old had a blast and well as we did.
- 5/5
Todo bien
- 1/5
Came into the room and there was a horrible smell. Vomit stain on the floor. That’s what it was. Pullout couch was pulled out halfway with some used sheets stuck behind the couch. Instantly, I called for a new room: none available. Asked for a refund and they said they can only give me 30%. Only a supervisor was there and they said they can’t make any decisions. I asked for a manager. There were none. I left and asked for a manager to contact me. Still waiting for a contact… it’s been 3 days.
- 5/5
We had an excellent stay. The room was spacious and staff were great.
- 5/5
My family had a lot of fun
- 5/5
Wish parking was included with the stay since we paid so much. Friendly staff, great food options. Different things for everyone !! Enjoyed the waterslides and water park ! Definitely recommend!!

Also, huge shoutout to Jorge in Guest services and Dexter! Excellent staff!
- 5/5
Nice amenities

This was incredibly inconvenient and stressful, especially while traveling with a child who has autism and thrives on routine and stability. Despite seeing a technician and trying to resolve the problem, we were left uncomfortable and frustrated for the majority of our stay with the rooms getting up to 80° and the AC units blowing hot air. We booked through a third party, so we were not offered any form of compensation, other than free breakfast, which we feel is unacceptable given the circumstances. Jose A and Stephanie at the front desk seemed to be the only ones to be compassionate; one manager (on the night of the 9th) said “I see you live in Escondido” and suggested maybe we just go home, at 10pm with 2 children one with special needs, If that’s what we needed to do, after saying she wasn’t sure what the correct solution was. Unfortunately we will not be back and cannot recommend to anyone to go to this location.
- 5/5
I tried to self-check in for our stay and avoid the long line but the system didn’t find my phone number. I had to get in line and they could not find my reservation, after almost an hour they said their system had a glitch when I reserved but they were able to give me the room paid for. Staff was very nice and helpful
- 5/5
All nice
- 5/5
The whole experience was great!
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5

- 5/5
This was a great place
- 5/5
We are still here and are loving everything. So much to do. 10 out of 10. It’s our first time here and we are blown away at the amount of stuff to do
- 5/5
Good stay overall
- 2/5
They never released the deposit and took additional $169 which we don’t know the reason why. I called to verify but there phone lines were closed. Very bad. Very bad service and staff and quality of the hotel including the water park. Never going back.
- 5/5
The water activities offered at this facility are extensive and cater to a wide range of preferences. These include beach wave pools, a surfing experience pool, slides, and more. We frequently visit this establishment to celebrate my children’s birthdays, as they always have the opportunity to create unforgettable memories.
- 1/5
But, as soon as I got to the room and the kids cabin, they were left over some underwear I did call the front desk. Nobody showed up, so I left them outside the door. Second time I called the front desk, kids bedsheets were stain with yellow marks. Third time I called the front desk. TV wasn’t working and they had to send an engineer at 9 o’clock at night. Didn’t take any photos didn’t think was necessary, but they were aware. And I wrote him a message as well, and they should have all the phone calls I did. To who it may concern. Thank you.
- 5/5
We had a great time, rooms were great. Wish there were more activities and food options. We thought of leaving to dine out, but the parking garage was packed and we did not want to come back not having a spot. Great stay and the kids loved it.
- 5/5
Excellent place to spend with family and friends.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
Ask a question and get different answers. No body consistent on answers and procedures.

Great shopping experience and great staff

- 5/5
Great experience! Highly recommended. 👍👍👍
- 5/5
Super fun
- 5/5
The property was fun! Liked that they had water and non water things to do. Plenty of different pool areas. Room was nice and spacious. I think the only thing that I would like is for the parking to be a part of the hotel, not a third party.
- 3/5
The nickel and diming throughout every corner you turn is crazy! Especially being a guest of the hotel. You have to pay to park your car, even Vegas usually validates when you are a guest. On top of that, the bowling and the golf costs extra as well. Don't forget to wait in line for 20 minutes when you are finished with your towels, because if ya don't that's $15! And what kind of buffet doesnt include drinks? $100 for 4 people for breakfast that was just ok. We would go back for the water park but will stay elsewhere
- 3/5
Outdated, needs some renovation’s.
- 5/5
Property is clean. Lots of activities for kids
- 5/5
Great for the kids. We had a wonderful time there.
- 5/5
The kids had a great time we loved it
- 3/5
The room was nice but the carpet is getting old and is very dirty. Then when we pulled the drapes back there something on them, and we didn’t want to know what it was! The pool area was clean, and well supervised. You just have to remember where you are when using the restrooms in the pool area. The lobby was very nice and well kept. Overall it was a nice stay a little pricy. One thing to be aware of if you’re on the 8th or 9th floors the elevators are very slow getting there in the morning.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Our room had a big rip on the carpet and you can see wires. Maybe patch that area to look nicer. Otherwise it's a great fun stay for the family. Water park is great kids loved it.
- 3/5
Parking was outrageous; 36.00 a night, and was not aware that if you want daily cleaning of your room you must ask for it, found that out on day 1 when we came back from the water park, no clean towels and the beds were still unmade, trash cans were full
- 5/5
Everything is so good
- 3/5
The waterfall was good the room is old and the carpet was old .
- 5/5
The water park was a total blast with something for everyone. We have three kids (13, 8, and 5), and they all had a great time. If you’re on the fence about whether it’s worth the money—do it. It absolutely is. We’ll definitely be back!
