The property was poorly maintained! Needs major remodeling! Only two outlets were working. Never got the Wi-Fi to work.

It was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. The pool was clean and provided some pool toys for the kids. Staff was friendly. For the price, the hotel was quite adequate. I would stay here again.

They put us in a room with no fridge or microwave. We requested to be moved to a room that had them. They moved us the next day as promised. And didn’t charge us anymore for the move. One staff member was a little odd. The pool was locked. I asked her why. She said because nobody wanted to swim. I told her how does she know that. The hours on the pool is 9 to 9. The pool should open on the posted hours. After that they was open every day.

It was a nice bare bones room. I forgot to ask for the AARP discount so I missed out on that. For an older setting it was clean and comfortable which was all I was looking for. It was quiet and even though it appeared to be filled traffic by my room was minimal. I would stay again. The air conditioning was wonderful.

It was ok. The rooms were clean but the sheets felt wet. There was no hair dryer, no microwave and no fridge. So please don't take anything that needs refrigeranted or anything that needs to be heat up.

I didn’t know that Classic meant no little refrigerator nor microwave. So I asked about it. I was told I could upgrade for $6 more. I was told the rooms were being cleaned I waited 4 hours called twice and was told other people were being checked in and I would get a call on the updated status. 4 hours later an old rusted out mini frig was wheeled into the room we had. Unusable. No microwave. Then the key was shut off ten minutes before 11 as we were loading the car and the dogs were locked in the room had to go to the front office to get it reactivated and saw others with the same issue

The room was gross and the property was not clean. Sketchy people, will not be returning do not believe the reviews or the pictures this is your typical motel 6.

Clean room. Cheap for 1 night. Convenient to cruise port

The shower. Location was close to cruise port. Tv didn't work, no shampoo, conditioner. Bed was hard and pillows super soft, one per person. No microwave or refrigerator. No side tables. Pictures showed a whole different look of the room, in person is not like the pictures. We were very disappointed.

The bed frame and other items (i.e. hangers) were RUSTED. Lifted the bed sheets and mattress appeared to have black mold spots. The bed next to the a/c had condensation running onto the bed. Had it not been a few hour stay we would have checked out ASAP! NEVER AGAIN!!

Situated right off Route 146, the area was subject to intense traffic noise until quite late. I had a hard time regulating the room temperature. The outside temperature was very warm and humid, but the room was like an ice-box. When I woke in the morning, the floor was slick with condensation.

It was convenient to the cruise port The property is old and there was not a bedside lamp in the room - but it was very economical

You can only talk to the attendant through bullet proof glass. Freeway noise is extreme. Poor condition of rooms and stained towels.

It was ok for a cheap place to sleep but not the cleanest or safest feeling. We stayed the night before our cruise so we just needed a bed but that’s really all it is.

The advertised and booked room was supposed to be non-smoking. It was clear from the moment we opened the door that someone had been smoking. Tge room reeked with the smell of smoke. There were no other rooms available. I called to let the desk clerk know our flight had been delayed and the clerk was so nice and put notes to let the staff know.

We had booked a two night stay. The first night's room was really bad and filthy. I went to the on duty manager the next morning with my concerns and pictures of the problems with the room. She immediately moved me to a different room which was much better and what should be expected when booking a room at Motel 6. The first room should have never been rented out to anyone because of the bad shape it was in. The first night the room we were given was really bad. It had a bad musty smell.It was dirty, sheets were dirty, In fact the bottom sheet had dried bloody fingerprint on it and had not been washed from previous use. Bathroom floor was wet from bad shower curtain. Step on the floor and water would squish out. Shower was dirty and not cleaned. It still had spit on the shower floor and walls from previous occupant. Shower rod was nasty and rusty. The bathroom door had a large hole in it and was coming apart at the seams. Asked for extra pillows . Got them and when we got them to the room they had 2 dead bed bugs and stains on them. Tore bed apart to check for more signs of bed bugs and found none. That is when I discovered the blood on the cover sheet. Front door had 3/4" gap even when locked shut. Way big enough for bugs or whatever to come in. Room had one rusty nasty chair in it. No refrigerator, tv did not work. The final straw was when I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and turned on the bathroom light only to see 2 cockroaches run down the wall. This room was a total dump and should have never been rented out to anyone. It should have been boarded up fumigated and needed a total remodel before ever being rented out again.The second room I got moved to the next day after I complained was good and that's the reason I gave a 5 rating overall. The first night's room didn't even deserve a 1. It was that bad. I emailed the pics of the above things to the motel office and they said they got the email but never offered to make it right or refund any money for the first night. Needless to say I'm done ever staying at this place again and probably done with Motel 6.

The hotel is nothing like the pictures on the website. The rooms had a very stale air smell to them. The bathroom was spacious but were nothing special. the sink was even completely attached to the wall. when we arrived there was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. I asked the cleaning staff that was outside our room about the shampoo and she stated " yeah we don't do that you need ur own we only give you a small bar of soap" I stated that is weird since ever other hotel I've ever been to has shampoo. then the cleaning lady said yeah we we don't. worst hotel experience ever. we actually didn't even stay the night we ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. I would never book this place again it had very ghetto vibe to it the kind of place you would take a cheap hooker.

The parking providers to guests for cruises is great!!!

Only complaint is the WiFi never works and no fridge, iron, or microwave in room. Other than that rooms look recently remodeled. Plenty of parking.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures. No fridge or microwaves, my son's room didn't even have a TV. Bathroom sink drain was rusted. Had to deal with loud kids, a man beating his dog, loud drunk people all hours of the night. Bring dude wipes, tp, and your own towels.

Doors don’t close all the way air-conditioning units are loud if you’re on the bottom floor, you get dripped on by them. Was guaranteed a ground floor room because of handicap when I arrived, I was told I didn’t have a ground floor room don’t bother reserving a room they will give it away.

No shampoo. No conditioner. Bath towels were tiny. Only 3 channels on TV. No coffee. No mini fridge. No facial tissue. No hair dryer. The lock was low in battery so it had to be programmed.the only good things were: form bed. Good solid pillows. Smelled clean. The handyman was very helpful.

This place is scary. There were questionable characters in every stairwell when we arrived. Like scary ones and I live in the hood so I know what I’m talking about. In the middle of the night we heard one hustling a woman. We had a chair behind our door. We also had blood stains in the pillows, wall and light switch. Probably had bed bugs too but we were only there for 5h. Do not stay here, unless you don’t mind anything I just mentioned.

The room was clean but small and out dated. I knew what we were getting into (I read other reviews). The price was good and the staff was friendly. We did feel safe but the place was a little run down. We left our car there for a week when we went on a cruise and it was just fine when we got back. The only real problem was someones car alarm going off all night long. Could hardly get any sleep. But that is not the hotles fault.

Heard a man throwing up outside of our room, noisy all night. The white lady upfront was kinda rude . The black lady when checking out was very kind. The laundry room was out of order. Only ice machine was in the front office.

Air didn't work good they had two beds they were pushed up against one was pissed up against the wall the other one was pushed up against the air conditioner and I'm assuming that's why the air conditioner didn't work but there was barely any room in between the beds there was no little there was no little refrigerator or a microwave or coffee pot

Parking during our cruise eas the best part of this stay, Definitely not worth the money! Very loud by the interstate, saw a big roach right before we left on the desk, Definitely will NOT stay there again!

There was no employee at front desk when we tried to check in. I had to call the hotel to have the employee come to the front desk. Once he arrived, he was very friendly and professional. The room met our needs for a one night stay and was affordable

Guest desk was very nice. We got to our room, we heard a yapping dog. We went back to the desk and they moved us right away. Easy to find, good parking. Only complaint, the floor looked clean, but I spilled some water and wiped it up with a bath towel and the towel was black! So dirty!

We were there for a cruise, and they let us keep our truck there until we got back, got transportation to the port which was 20.dollars a person, so did a Uber back a lot cheaper. The Motel 6 was very quiet and nice and clean. The staff very friendly and very helpful.

She was not friendly or inviting. The door was already locked at 7 PM. I would not stay here again. You could clearly tell they haven’t scrubbed or clean the shower in a while .

I would like to receive a full refund for this room. It was a hotel that used to be the seahorse end and now is a Motel 6 and I did not book the correct motel because of the misleading conditions on the name. The TV was not working. there was not a full breakfast provided and was not satisfied with my stay

Room was clean, didn’t get any clean towels until we asked for them. Day staff was fantastic, night staff was terrible. Laundry room was locked, but we never needed it. Parking was close enough to our room.

There was a bug issue. I did submit a claim with the insurance company and I am waiting to hear back about the claim.

Laundry was inoperable, motel was run down, no amenities, there were holes in the sheets and curtains, no place to get to to eat, uber and taxis extremely hard to get. Would not recommend EVER

The sheets were very dirty on both beds. You could see some sort of blood stains and human hair on the sheets. I called the front desk to swap them out. The new sheets had sneaker footprints on them and were wet. Some brown stains were on the outer duvet cover. I took the fitted sheets off the bed and there was black mold growing up at the top of the mattress protector where your pillow sits. The AC unit was filthy with a black substance. Another person staying underneath our room was smoking pot. I asked to speak to a manager and they didn’t have one available. We didn’t stay and left the hotel. The front desk person seemed unaffected by the condition of the room.

We had no hot water that night but the next morning there was hot water. There were cigarette burns on the bedspread. The room was supposed to be non smoking. The shower curtain rod was rusted and the floor was gritty in the entire room. We paid $134.00 for the night. This was the first and last time we will ever stay there.

When was not so clean curtains seem to have hose in them. Mosquitoes in the room kind of scary to sleep on the bed.

Housekeeping never made the bed. The only reason I knew housekeeping came in was because my garbage was taken out. I even got nervous because who takes the garbage and not make the bed? The front office was very accommodating and professional.

The door had a 3/4 inch gap between the door edge and the wall. Lots of things in the room need repair - the toilet paper holder, holes in some furniture, no bedside lamps. The room was inexpensive. You get what you pay for. Noisy!

The room was disgusting, there was a wet towel crumpled up next to the sink, the shower was visibly dirty with hair and soap, there is a hole in the door to the bathroom, no hot water in the sink or shower. And I made this reservation over 4 months ago and was still placed in a room above the laundry room that vibrated the whole room for hours on end.

The room floor was sticky. No soap dish in the shower. No coffee. Soap was very very small. Lots of street noise from passing cars cars. Last time we stay apt Motel 6.

The room definitely didn't look like the picture. It was very sparse, no pictures, no bedside tables but the worst problem was the smell. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach that hit you in the face before you even crossed the threshold. The longer you were in the room, you realized it was probably their attempt to cover the underlying weird yeasty smell that permeated the room. The pillows were so flat they were basically non existent. I expected more from Motel 6

The attendant let us know right away when our room was available. The room was average: just two beds, one was right up against the wall with the AC unit. AC kept us cool enough, but it still stayed very humid in the room. Bathroom was everything we needed, but no amenities whatsoever. Basically, the price was right for what we got. Just needed a place to sleep and shower for one night before our cruise. We probably would not choose this location again. I thought it was closer to shops, restaurants, or the cruise port. But it wasn't.

Ended up just leaving, never stayed and said they don’t do refunds, place is under construction and I hope that changes its current state. Nice people terrible hotel.

One night stay before a cruise. The only thing out of the ordinary was that our TV didn’t work and had to be re-booted. Maintenance responded quickly to take care of it.

Everything was satisfactory. A/C cooled well, staff at the front desk was very polite, the room was clean. The only issue was the other inhabitants were a little sketchy. No harm no foul and all went well.

The room always felt moist, no matter how low the AC was. The motel has a lumber yard next door with fork lifts beeping at 6 in the morning and I was here for overnight work. There is a yrain yard directly behind the motel. There are zero amenities, no soap, no shampoo. There are no working phones in the room. The laundry was closed. No coffee maker, mini fridge. Only 1 outlet in the whole room. Worst place I've stayed

I didnt like after we paid online they didnt have the reservation from Expedia sent to them on time and the manager came banging on our door threatening to call the police! I had to pack up.everything and until she finally got it confirmed that we paid it already and then she didnt even apologize!

The staff were exceptionally pleasant. The rooms were clean for the most part. Once it slows down during off season, I would recommend a thorough deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable. Property is dated and like the majority of the older hotels with outside facing doors that are located near the ocean, the metal railings and metal room fixtures are rusted from the salty humid air. The only real issue I had is the room smelled like mold. They spray air freshener to try to mask it but after a while, the smell eventually comes back. We only need the room for a little while so it wasnt that overwhelming. Overall it is a nice property with friendly, helpful staff for an inexpensive price.

The good thing was the staff members. But the bad was the we had random people knocking at our door at 3:30 am and scared my kids. And they do not have a fridge or microwave in the room 😔

It was not bad at all. It was very clean when we arrived and presentable. No one bothered us the staff were very nice and helpful. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because it was kinda super small. Me and daddy couldn’t even have play time after the kids went to bed. Other than that I had a very decent experience.

I got there and waited about 20 minutes to finally be helped. Once I was helped, they informed me that they had no rooms available after I already booked online. I waited and they moved me from the room I booked to a “suite”. This room was so incredibly small for 4 people. It was HOT and took a few hours to cool off completely. They fully left the half used toilet paper roll from the last guest in the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was so rusty and it had the curtain this dirty orange color. Also, there were no amenities honestly. They didn’t even have shampoo! The beds were uncomfortable, they had 1 chair in the room to sit on that was covered in dried paint??

Stayed here the night before our Cruze and found it convenient they let us park our vehicle during our 8 day Cruze and didn’t charge any extra.

I opened the door and saw a dead roach on the floor right by the door. I went to use the restroom only to find the toilet paper holder hanging out of the wall. The bathroom mirror is COVERED in white toothpaste specks. There was piles of hair in multiple places. And the people above us were slamming things around and yelling all night.

Tv would turn off on its own in one the 4 rooms we rented. No iron or ironing board in rooms. Closet was in bathroom so they got damp when someone showered. Bathroom had no lock

The room was only cleaned one day out of four days, and also had clean towels brought one day. If they only clean rooms every other day, at least bring clean towels every day.

The room was very small. The fire smoke alarm beeped for three hours before they came to change the battery. The bathroom was not clean. The air conditioner did not work. And the door did not close all the way.

We were moved to another room which still had flies and gnats. Mold on the door frames and curtains…the floor felt like it was coated in something. Old blood around the toilet, mildew stained bed covers. There was stuff on the wall, still not sure what it was. Overall the absolute worst experience. Pay a little extra and book a different hotel.

For a budget hotel it was clean with a comfortable bed

It’s been a long time since we stayed at a Motel 6, and now I remember why. The room smelled and it was so damp that water formed on the floor. We couldn’t even walk barefoot. Pictures on the website did not show what you really got. We would NOT recommend this site, not even for the price we paid. Pay a few extra dollars and get a decent room somewhere else.

Room and pool are really clean

Room was okay. Get your own body and facewash,the soap bar was very bad. Biggest problem is loud noises in the morning from the warehouse next to the motel.

Good low price, good AC, TV, and beds. Clean. Upstairs and she saw i am cripple. No other amenities and now hot water or pressure. Get what pay for, cheap and needed that price.

Pool is green, but it's open. Water in shower doesn't get hot. Other than that the staff is really kind and helpful.

Room was very tiny. Didn't even have a table anywhere in the room. Had two chairs under the t.v and that was it. It definitely was not worth what we paid. Beds were uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

Cozy comfy

Great customer service and good central location- can’t beat the pricing. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is the rooms we rented were a bit run down and check-in was staggered (we had 3 rooms but only 1 was ready at check in time, granted other two were ready within the hour after check in).

Terrible called the hotel I be a late arrival waited 20 minute at the the desk till some one finally arrived. Sheets and blanket had cigarette burns in them, no place to hang clothes, no place to hang wet towels, no toilet paper holder. No mention of the place being redone. Woke up to sounds of loud machine in next room workers working in them. Coffee horrible, will not be returning to this place again

Pay a little extra go somewhere else or you will be double billed like I was. Got there and told payment didnt go thru which was bs. This was when i was checking in. What choice did I have but to pay again! Terrible situation to be put in. Told I got a refund for the 2nd charge that morning but was then charged again. HORRIBLE.

Under construction/remodel. Loud dirty and very unfriendly staff. Not willing to help at all.

Rooms we're really small the curtains and the sheets were dirty there was nasty marks on the walls. Could hear everything going on outside and in the other room.

Saw 2 roaches in the room and worst thing of all someone smashed a window in the middle of the night and police had to go to the motel.

The motel is under construction… extremely noisy also a lot of dirty in the outdoor area.. at night is a train running through the side and the horn doesn’t let us sleep I woke up more than 5 times

The staff was great. Beds were horrible and uncomfortable.

It was misleading in photos. Lady at front was eating and walking around barefoot when we finally got her attention after banging profusely on the security window. Room had unfinished updates, smelled like mildew and everything felt moist. Thankfully our car was still there after our cruise.

It was a place to stay for the night.

Was not easy to get to, Check in was easy. When opening the door, there was an odor that we could not identify. When closing the door, we could see daylight through the door and the door frame. When we were going to shower, there was long black hair on the towel. The shower curtain rod was solid rust. The other guests that were staying close to us were so loud, it was awful. Way over priced for this dump of a place. Cannot believe that Expedia would associate with a facility like this. Will never stay at this place again!

Looked like it had not been cleaned from previous guest. Not clean. I could not recommend this hotel - one gets that for which one pays.

Price for room was ok. A/c worked well, we were cold most nights. Room was relatively clean, however the shower and sink both had hair from previous guests left in/on them. Mold in corners of shower/walls of room. Mattress cover on both beds was dirty/stained.

Economy place to lay your head down... then leave early.
