    I booked an accessible room unintentionally and was surprised when I entered room. No complaints with that because it was my own error in booking, but I do want to say the bed was not comfortable, felt like it had a sink whole in it, and I can’t imagine that being very comfortable or accommodating for people needing additional accommodations. The staff were all very friendly, and everything was very clean, so I would definitely come back, and pay more attention at booking.

    The in-room phone didn’t work, so housekeeping requests had to go through a text number that went unanswered for hours. To make matters worse, housekeeping won’t clean your room or restock essentials unless you explicitly request it something we weren’t told upfront. This was my first Hilton stay and, unfortunately, likely my last. I wouldn’t recommend this property, especially for families with young children.

    Loved the pool and it was steps from the sea wall staff was very nice and they allowed pets! The maid service could have been better did not sweep sand from room refill tissue box or put new liner in ice bucket etc. I was also double charged and it took 24 hrs to reissue funds

    We stayed on the 6th floor. We had to keep the room freezing cold, or the floors, tables, and even the sheets on the bed were WET from all the Humidity. I have never seen anything like it before and I am from Florida. Otherwise, its a good place for the price. The pool is really nice, but we did not use it.

    Cons: hidden fees: parking-25 per day (self-parking), restaurant/ bar/ service fees, deposit (100). The rooms aren’t as updated as I’d like the peeling paint on the door was painted over. There is dust under the a/c and vents. No tub. There is a shower only. When down at the pool I noticed the servers were offended we didn’t want to use their service and made it difficult to order from the bar by constantly asking if we needed anything after saying no. The drinks are minimum 10 and the food is minimum 20 per plate. I would be okay with the price, but the drinks weren’t very strong and the food was ok but not 4-5 star quality. The poop wasn’t emptied out the 3 days in the trash at the dog park. There was no carpet at all in the room, which gave me more a hard and less comfortable feel.

    This hotel is wildly outdated and smells like mildew. The rooms are incredibly small and the furniture is from the 90s at best. The bathroom is so tiny that the door hits you in the leg while you’re on the toilet. They make you pay a daily fee to park in their completely open to the public parking lot. Staff is rude. We got woken up to loud obnoxious banging at our door at 7:15 AM. It was staff telling us we had a towel hanging from our balcony that needed removed immediately. It’s been drying outside since the previous day around 2:00 pm. We found that extremely rude considering we had the do not disturb sign on our door and it’s a towel….and we are at the beach… I would save your money and go literally anywhere else.

    Our room was nice. Not sure I would pay fir a “bay view” since our view was mostly of the parking lot. The pool is nice but small and so crowded we didn’t even go down and try to enjoy it.

    Really good stay. If you’re going to take advantage of the free parking, I recommend not moving your car much, at least in the day time, as beach goers tend to take up all the free spaces with impunity. Otherwise I recommend the valet service.

    The pool was great, but the staff at check in were horrible. They even added a parking fee on my bill after I told them I did not have a vehicle in the parking lot. The initial lady at check in rushed me off so fast after I paid she did not write my room number on my card holder nor did she want to give me my pool wristband. I had to go to a different staff member at the counter because the lady walked off and left… I expected more of a friendly and professional interaction. Anyway the room for one night was $386.00, and there’s no free breakfast it’s either $15 for cereal, juice and milk. Or $25 if u want an omelet.

    Some of the staff was not friendly. The body wash and shampoo levels in the shower were very low. I guess the room was adequate otherwise. Restaurant was kind of dirty. And very overpriced for what it was.

    While most of the staff were fantastic, the experience at the pool was frustrating. The attendant (James) came across as overly strict and constantly policing guests, which made it hard to relax. We understand enforcing guest-only access, but this went beyond that and negatively impacted the atmosphere. His approach felt unwelcoming and took away from the overall experience. Also, not allowing guests to bring their own water to the pool is unreasonable, especially at this price point. James was constantly monitoring & scolding people for bringing a tumbler with them, which resulted in several guests (with wristbands), leaving and not returning to the pool. Who wants to feel like the “warden” is watching their every move while trying to enjoy the pool area? Between the cost and the number of rules, the experience didn’t feel worth it. We could have rented a private home for less and had a far more enjoyable stay. Lesson learned :) To add to the experience, we were woken up this morning by a phone call stating that a smoke detector was going off in our room. There was no smoke, but an engineer still needed to come check just to be sure. Jessie was genuinely apologetic, and professional, but being woken up to that was not a pleasant experience overall.

    Clean room, clean property -minus the stairwells which were gross- friendly and helpful staff. Our one complaint is the horrible noise from the elevators that we listened to round the clock from the time we were checked in until we checked out. It’s constant - every time the elevator goes up or down it’s extremely loud in the room. We were comped a free breakfast because our room wasn’t ready at check-in. Not a huge deal and we appreciate the breakfast. We were also comped parking for the night because the elevator noise was so loud and rooms were sold out so we couldn’t switch rooms. Again, we appreciate the staff for taking care of us as best they could by comping our $35 parking and $50 breakfast - but here’s the issue: we know that Hilton knows how loud the elevators are because when we brought up the noise in our room the staff said “you must be by the elevators”. Do better Hilton! Fix the elevator noise… for $380 a night we deserve a quiet space to lay our heads. You can have the cleanest rooms and the most attentive, kind staff around - but if your guests can’t sleep at night from mechanical noises, then what’s the point?

    I was so disappointed that I was not able to utilize the pool area due to a large private event being held the weekend of my stay 4/08/26. I purposely chose the hotel for the swimming pool and had I known I would not been able to use, I would have gone with a different hotel. The staff were rude as well especially the front hosts. I don’t think it was worth over $300 a night. Also, the walls on the 1st floor are very thin, I could her complete conversations being held in the hallway and in the room next to my room.

    Beautiful view of the ocean. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was beautifully designed, however there were a few problems. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The bathtub wasn’t clean. We were only there for one night, so didn’t use the pool. We could see it from our window and the kids and parents were having a great time.

    The property was beautiful. Had an awesome view of the gulf from our room. All of the staff were unbelievably nice, especially to our kids. The front desk ladies made us all feel so welcome, even giving the kids a toy each. They also worked hard to get my bestie and I in rooms next each other even though we made reservations at different times. It was an all around wonderful experience and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

    Room was clean. Staff responsive. My AC unit clogged up causing the tiles on the floor at the foot of my bed to be “squishy”. I reported it and maintenance came up promptly, disassembled the unit, and suctioned out the water build up/clog. Problem did not completely go away and as an added bonus a large water bug decided to come in from the outside and hang out in my AC unit for the rest of my stay.

    The staff was terrible. Massive wait when we first arrived to check-in. I’m talking well over an hour wait in a line that wrapped through the lobby. Our room wasn’t ready until an hour past check-in, THEN the rooms we got weren’t even the connecting rooms that we had requested and paid for. Went down to the desk and the woman helping us was SO RUDE. It was so bad that the manager overheard and gave us free dinner (which was a very nice touch) but I will never forget the way that woman treated me. The pool is nice. Otherwise, stay somewhere else.

    We had a great winter trip for the new year at this hotel. Super nice heated pool and hot tub with extended hours & swim up bar, great food, nice staff, clean, comfortable bed, nice gym, great 6th floor ocean view and just across the street from the beach with lots of food options around. Staff were very cordial by sharing information regarding activities of the hotel and asking questions of your visit so that they might be able to help make a decision on activities. There were two items that didn't appeal to me as a guest and felt Hilton should offer a better way to offer carts for people with luggage who do not valet park. Especially "seniors". Or lower the cost of valet so that both parties have a win to win situation. Over $20.00 to self park with no directions where to park and other entries to the building can be very frustrating instead of having a good restful time.

    I stayed here as a mini vacation with my two teenagers, and although a majority of the hotel staff was wonderful, the on-site restaurant left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was out of about half the items on the menu, service was extremely slow despite not being busy and they consistently ignored the phone for room service calls. I had to call the front desk to place my order once. The second time, we just went down to the restaurant after repeated unanswered calls only to find the staff standing around chatting. We heard the phone consistently ringing and not being answered while we were there. Also the refrigerator in our room didn’t work. I honestly expected more from a Hilton. The front desk staff and all other staff we interacted with were wonderful, though.

    Arrived early to beat the check-in madness. Was told room was not ready yet. We went to the pool where my wife walked into a toilet overflowing at the lady's pool restroom. While at the pool bar, we waited for over 1.5 hours to order drinks and food while our room was being cleaned. Frustrated we walked inside to the cafe for hopefully better service in wet cloths. Hours later, finally in the room we noticed the safe and phone did not work, and shower wand sprayed water from handle. I verbally and text messaged staff to report each item with no action taken. Most likely too busy herding customers like cattle to keep room numbers up. Yes, very disappointing!

    Room was clean, floor tile in the bathroom has cracks in the grout which caused water to seep in and 'squish' so, that may become a mold issue quick. I do wish that there were signs coming out of the elevator that reminded guests to keep voices down in the hallway. A group accumulated near it at 2 a.m. and were talking super loud there and walking through the room hallways, it was a few times late that this happened. Location is nice, good amenities, restaurant food and coffee bar were good. You can use their bikes for guests and cruise around outside which we really enjoyed! Outside Valet men were awesome, there were 2 usuals, very kind and hospitable.

    Walking in to the resort was very much so clean and professional, decor was on point, amazing customer service while checking in even got an upgrade room with balcony to see the pool and beach. Going to our room we still had an amazing view while going up the elevator. Mind you while we were checking in it smelled sooooo good. We got to our rooms evrrything was nice, organized and clean. It was just amazing. We had brekfast and dinner at the resort. We shopped, we lounged by the heated pool which was AMAZINNNNNG. we had drinks at the bar in the pool. The resort was everything. Tbis is the furst resort i have ever been to that i never wanted to leave. I will most definitely go back again and again.

    My husband brought me for my 60th birthday! We love the central location, excellent views, spacious room newly updated and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the bar/lounge area for Monday night football while we waited on a late night pizza dinner in our room. Breakfast menu was fresh and generous portions. Wonderful stay to celebrate!

    Staff was kind. The heated pool was great. The room was ok the vent in the shower was hanging from the wall. The electrical outlet cover didnt cover the wall. The emergency door in the stairwell was left un latched leaving access into the hotel fir anyone.

    We had a wonderful room overlooking the pool and the beach beyond the property. The room was nice and clean. Loved the pool area with the bar. We also had a very nice breakfast there. The people were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Galveston.

    Great stay! Our original room we booked had a balcony and upon arrival were told that they were out of balcony rooms so switched us to another room. This room was higher up and had a great view of the beach and surrounding areas. All staff were very friendly and room was super clean. Heated pool and swim up bar were very nice and breakfast was delicious! Very close to the beach and lots of things close by to do. We got some great recommendations from the bartender Gina. Also ordered a couple pizzas from the kitchen and they were great as well.

    The rooms were very comfotable - good beds (but my mattress needed to be turned - there was a very noticable "dip". the shower was excellent.     I was extremely disappointed to discover the hotel did not have a room available like the type I booked.     We spent almost $1000 on presidential suite for a great night. Although the room was big but the room SMELLED SO STRONG OF CAT PEE THE WHOLE ROOM! Talk to 4 differentPEOPLE THEY COULDNT BE MORE RUDE AND UNWILLING TO ACCOMMODATE US! Security guard Evens was a different story he came into the room a smelled it and totally agreed. We do want to still be accommodated ! I had to sleep with the sheet over my face because it made me so sick!

    This place was completely horrible. The staff were rude and not helpful at all. The room is very small especially considering the price you pay. There was hammer going on above us. There was crumbs and sand on the sheets as soon as we got there. When we finally had enough we decided to check out early and the management told us there is a early check out fee. And on top of that they have double charged my card. I will never stay here again and would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay here at your own risk.

    Great property and staff ….. service was great inside the hotel but the parking lot is not managed very well….. the restaurant next door uses the hotel lot as do the beach goers…..during the evening parking spots are hard to find and then in the morning the lot is almost empty …….     Hotel was awesome. So new and comfortable. Great lounge and bar, small nice cafe. Walkable to restaurants and the beach area. Staff was nice, but we encountered several problems with our reservation and billing. Kareem seemed new and not very knowledgeable, however, Amelia and Peggy were very helpful in getting things straightened out. I was surprised self-parking was $21, but the parking was convenient.

    My family and I wanted too order dinner , we called room service about 7 times ,no answer, then called front office we were put on hold . Hung up after 5 mins or and called back ,someone picked up we told them the problem,they said to come down to the lobby to order . Went down they were not busy 3 lady’s were standing there talking amongst themselves. Someone. Took our order , it was delivered and they got the order wrong . It was resolved. The problem I have is I went there to relax and enjoy myself. Not be inconvenienced due to poor customer service.

    Check in was quick, check in is at 4 but did let us check in at 2:30, pool & bar very nice, oh goodness the beds are so comfortable, you must pay for breakfast, but it’s well worth it (buffet). Everyone that worked there definitely made you feel welcomed. As I would pass them in the halls they would ask if we were ok did we need anything! Will be booking again in September

    Hilton, You never fail to disappoint. Hidden fees like parking and extra room deposit? It's not a problem if I know about it before I drive 60 miles. Price gouging on valet? That's unfair leverage (immoral business). Its just not 4 start service. I can choose the rug that slips on the tile or the water on the floor. No problem I can use my towel and then not have one for my shower. I get it, you can't get adequate staff without attitudes. And hey, if I asks to see a manager they should not just hide in the back and give me a credit, its not about the money, its about the feedback- which I never got to give. They looked at me like I am an a-hole for giving them $500 a night and being treated like a homeless person. Great

    Everything was clean except the bottom of the shower when we arrived. Gray color scheme of the room was very depressing. Staff very helpful. Pool access was confusing. A permanent sign on the wall at the doors says pool is open 6 am -11 pm. There were other signs saying 9 am - 10 pm. When I asked a staff member, he didn't even know the other sign was there. Restaurant food was good.

    My only disappointment was that they did not allow guests to bring insulated water bottles to the pool, although many guests did. I'm sure they had their reasons, but having your ice water in 100-degree temperatures makes for a better experience than having to refill tiny cups of melted water provided by the hotel.

    The firs at the hotel was going okay check in was fast, (7/3 was check in) we got settled and was exploring the hotel once we got ready to eat dinner we decided to eat on the property at Bistro well that wasn’t a good idea it was a roach crawling while we waited for our burgers I notified the server and she then notified the manager older African American Woman who did absolutely nothing at all ……. We left the restaurant and went to turn in for the room and once we got settled there was this horrible mold smell coming out of the bathroom my mother was with us her and my wife got a instant headache… I have a few pictures of the crack and molding… this was our first time staying at a Hilton hotel we will never stay again. It’s suppose to be a nice hotel however it wasn’t and for the price of two nights for a “Resort “ it was literally just a pool and hot tub nothing special that I seen or experienced

    I would say when you check out make sure to get your final bill and review in person, i had an additional charge and had to call and took a while to get through. Although when i did Rueben was so helpful and helped get that charged reversed and if i had any questions or concerns i could call back. Eric was the valet and was amazing! And Mia was our waitress during breakfast and was so pleasant. I unfortunately can’t remember every staff members name but they’re all so kind, respectful and so welcoming! definitely coming back!

    To begin the check in process took an hour because the internet was down. No problem because sometimes you can’t help some problems. But then I get to my room and my toilet isn’t working then I go to the pool and come back and the door won’t open with my door key. After 3 times of exchanging keys and having to walk to get new ones every time they finally send their engineering team to fix it. This makes me late for my dinner reservations. Luckily the restaurant was still willing to sit us. On top of that after a long night I would like to watch a movie or tv. That also doesn’t work. Along with the WiFi not working. Over all the whole experience wasn’t the best. Really disappointed by it all.

    Pool bar is nice. Room service is terrible and wouldnt even answer the phone when the restaurant wasnt even busy. Had to order through front desk even after going to the front desk for help and them saying they would tell room service to answer my call from room. They still didnt answer and i still had to order through front desk.
