Galveston Beach Hotel

This property was very clean and the staff were very nice. Did not use the pool did to it was small and always a lot of people but the beach was right across the street so it was good. Can’t wait to stay again

Run down, dirty, and uncomfortable. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the location and ocean view.

Definitely recommend affordable room prices

The place is a little run down. The bed sucks, it’s an old spring mattress. I can’t remember the last time I slept on one but it hurt my back. The breakfast is bad and low quality. The key cards are absolutely terrible, had to get them reactivated multiple times. I would definitely not stay here again.

Room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Air conditioning worked extremely well in June. Staff was friendly and cordial. The free breakfast was alright - very carb heavy, though. Overall, it was a great stay for our family.

I booked two nights and only stayed one. Our door to our room never was fully capable of getting into easily. Almost had to body slam it each time. He stepped on a nail in this garage from construction, and bled through his shoe. They didn’t even have any first aid kid or offered any kid of apology or service. Dead rat was also in the front entry for almost a full 24 hours before someone picked him up. Yuck.

After 30+ years of staying on the island, this is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. At check-in, we were told the property was nonsmoking. We got our keys and walked around the corner only to be hit in the face with a smell that would be comparable to being at a Willie Nelson concert. The hallway carpet is extremely nasty and the elevator closest to the front desk smelled as though someone had been living in it for months without bathing. We found a second elevator that we used after that. It smelled better, but someone had peeled an orange inside and threw the peel in the corner. The peel layed there 2 days & was still there when we left. Neither elevator had an inspection certificate in it. The only good thing is that our room was clean. We had already made the decision that if the room was as bad as the rest of the hotel, we were leaving. The tv in the room had 3 or 4 channels & the remote would not allow you to change inputs so that we could cast a movie or anything to watch. Overall, the hotel is very rundown. It appears they are attempting to do some renovations, but whoever they have hired does poor quality work. I took pictures and videos & would be more than happy to share.

I loved the location and having a balcony to as the ocean. Waking and and seeing the ocean first thing in the ocean was a amazing feeling. I really liked everything the staff and guests were really nice. I can't complain about a thing.

Our room key quit working and maintenance had to let us in most of the time.new keys were given 3 different times. Very spacious room, loved the family suite with connected room. Overall, we enjoyable experience.

Location, room was ok Painting and repairs going on pool closed. Parking issues because of repairs.

Nice enough hotel and very reasonable price. Across from beach. Had carts to help with luggage. Good breakfast selection. Liked the underground parking. Tv wasn't working properly and I called front desk. Waited an hour and a half at night. Was told maintenance would be right up. No one showed up. So I called back and told them forget about it it was almost 10 o'clock. Other than that things were fine.

The thing i loved most about the room was that the air conditioning was nice and cold especially coming in from a hot day. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower was nice. The whole room though could use remodeling but i think they started already cause the room next door was being worked on quite noisy while trying to take an afternoon nap. Breakfast area nice and well maintained breakfast was fine was just wishing they had sausages as well. the location of the hotel was superb! beach across the street and walking distant to a strip mall. all in all, the place was fine but was outdated but they were working on the whole hotel itself.

Breakfast is awesome. Location the best. I like the hot tub with lights. Horrible situation happened with room entry cards. Every day receptionist offered other cards but we stood by the door trying to get that "Green Light". Fifty tries ! We promised to check the lock. No result. The situation with staying and running up and down is unacceptable.. But the hotel desk people obviously had fun. When their man came he easily opened the door. They have real cards that work. We changed 6 cards. I will never stop at this hotel again. No fun no calm.

We were definitely happy with our room and Staff was very helpful. Beach view from room with balcony. Continental Breakfast was Great. No meats but cereal,milk juices biscuit and gravy maybe only weekends eggs muffins etc..

The room was large and clean, but it had a musty smell that was worse on the second day. The attendant came swiftly and sprayed disinfectant spray but the smell really never went away. Decided to leave a day early due to this. Ample covered parking, staff was friendly, bathroom was clean, room was plenty cool.

Great location! It was within walking distance of Jimmies on the Pier and just a short walk to the beach. I didn’t have to drive anywhere during my stay, which made it so relaxing and convenient. Perfect spot if you want easy access to restaurants, the beach, and local attractions.

The staff was friendly and the location was great (right across the street from the beach). The breakfast was also good! The only concerns I had were the elevator, Ice machine, and my TV remote were not working.

The staff at the counter were kind, informative, and helpful. Even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Every single morning we had a stranger barge into our room! The do not disturb sign exists for a reason!!! I felt as though I had absolutely no privacy. If they can't respect the "do not disturb" sign on the door and just match right in, how can I feel safe showering or sleeping or anything else for that matter???

They are trying to renovate, but poor craftsmanship overall with messy finishes. Our room was decent. Hall carpets were filthy. Staff was nice/helpful and location was decent. Price was the only thing that made it worth it, but probably wouldn’t go back. Breakfast was primarily carbs (cereal, breads, waffle, biscuits -with gravy), and eggs.

I loved our stay, even though they were doing renovations. The room was GREAT! The ONLY complaint I have was the breakfast. We stayed for a week, they only had eggs, pastries, toast,cereal, waffles and oatmeal then on Friday they finally added biscuits and gravy, I just had high expectations because of past reviews, I was expecting meat to be there as well. It won't keep me from returning in fact we are planning on returning in late August.

This hotel needs a lot of renovation very dirty paint all over the floor bathroom dirty smells horrible hot in the lobby. A lot of renovation around it needs a lot of work done to it just completely dirty way around the hotel. I tried to cancel, however didn’t realize that it looked like that it was I unable to cancel.

Over all I dont want to complaint too much about our stay, it served its purpose. I just thought for the price and location that it was going to be a nicer property. Our room had a balcony but the floor inside the room was soaked all around the door. The water was not reliable in the bathroom to wash our hands. They were actively doing work around the hotel. Randomly paint spots here and there, maybe renovating, I cant be sure. The pool area was nice, my kids had a great time. From the pool area we could see an entire balcony railing missing from one of the rooms so I would let my kids on our balcony. The staff were nice but not super welcoming. I probably wouldnt say here again if other options are available but if everything was booked except this hotel I would stay again.

Room was clean. Hotel looked like it was being remodeled/painted. Needs lots of work. Doors to hotel rooms were dirty, carpet in hallway was dirty and old. Nice to be across from beach and plenty of parking. Breakfast was ok nothing fancy. Would not stay at hotel again.

Breakfast was average . Kids stood in the waffle line for 40 mins . Parents had their kids holding place in line and every minute more ppl were cutting . We had to say something & it became a problem . Could’ve been bad . Should get another waffle maker or have that line organized

We were in room 339. Nail sticking up next to the tub; nails holding shower panels in place; caulk/glue on the bathroom floor; elevator 1 not working and elevator 2 extremely slow. The beds were very good with a view of the beach from our balcony. Construction crews everywhere working on third floor rooms and the exterior. A giant crane/lift outside our room. We paid way to much for the Friday and Saturday stay. AC worked great and lots of parking. I give them a 6 rating.

A cheap and convenient hotel for access to the local heliport. I use it often for business.

There was no hot water for most of my stay and even no water in general for a week. The door keys stopped working at least 3 times. The place is a bit dingy in general, but individual rooms were quite clean and well-maintained overall. I wouldn't stay again voluntarily, but there are definitely worse places that one can stay and at least it was cheap.

I was not the only one complaining there was other hotel guests that were so upset. I would have rathered slept on a park bench!!! You guys are a disappointment !!!!! EWW..

The rooms are clean and the staff is incredibly friendly, which is why my family has made staying here an annual Memorial Day tradition. Unfortunately, the building is visibly degrading and urgently needs a remodel. During our recent stay, the elevator failed twice—the doors closed, but it stalled completely for about four minutes before finally moving. Additionally, the pool area needs fresh paint and better screening to hide ongoing construction. The complimentary breakfast was also very disappointing this year; it used to include sausage links or patties, but has been reduced to just eggs, waffles, and cereal. We love the team here, but the property desperately needs maintenance to match their excellent service.

The room was musty…. And the room I got was with two queen beds and NOT the king bed I requested. The icebox did not work and the restroom had a strobe light. The floors appeared clean but when wiping up water with the towel it was nasty. They apparently don’t get mopped. The elevators are S L O W. and the waiting room for elevators was suffocatingly hot… been going here 3 years and nothing has improved. Haven’t been in a year and doesn’t appear any improvements have been done…. They were painting in the parking area and had a couple cars covered but some still got spotted… we moved ours b4 it could get spotted. And the jacuzzi was closed Saturday afternoon when it got thru raining that morning…. Y it still have to be closed? The one next door was open and plenty of people in it. Sunday it was open and way way to many people in it. Some of them didn’t have a room there and so many kids in it. When we head back to Galveston we will check out the Holiday inn next door.

Ac is smelling bad, remaining is ok

Every time we had to use the room keys we had to have them re-done at the front desk. The phone didn't work in the room. Check-in was at 4 and at 545 we couldn't get an extra blanket and pillow because housekeeping was closed until morning. The floor in the room was filthy. The front desk wasn't able to answer questions.

The place was run down. I came in late and felt unsafe. Things were broken everywhere. I am pretty sure that criminal activity was taking place there. I left after the first night and asked for a refund.

Clean rooms, ample parking, walking distance and great views of the beach. One day either of our room keys worked. I feel like they forgot we were in the room because the water was turned off and the room was not made up. Once I went down to get new keys, everytjing worked and the next day our rooms were cleaned. Morning breakfast and coffee was always a nice thing and the breakfast staff always keep everything well stocked and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay & the price was affordable. Breakfast was included (the waffles were really good, especially with the raspberry syrup & whip cream) The pool & hot tub were a nice bonus, and it was great to have a balcony to watch the ocean & birds. The staff was friendly & helpful. Would stay here again.

We were excited with how close we were to the water and that it was affordable but when I asked if I could extend the stay I was told yes by one staff member than no by another. I called Expedia and they said no also. But Galveston itself was amazing

This is a good value for the price. It is an older hotel, so there are some places that good use painting and maintenance. It is close to the beach and comfortable.

Also of note, plan on lukewarm shower water. At over $200 a night we should not be pouring sweat after walk from lobby to room. Reminds me of $40 spring break motels we stayed in at college.

Always a pleasure coming here, been coming to this amazing hotel for years, my only complaint was ask the remodeling so parking was a little crazy but if their doing it to better the hotel I’m for it, breakfast staff and clean rooms always, will be back!!!!!!!!

Also they did remodel inside the building at the second floor where we stayed. There was no notice at booking, not at check in about that. The rooms remodeled had opened doors and dust was filling the hallway as we were walking to the elevator. No plastic cover or safety notices were at the work site. Very unprofessional. Overall, the hotel is run down from wear and tear. I called Expedia and they did their best to assist me but honestly if I had known all this before booking, I would not have chosen it. The location is the only good thing for this hotel, but their price in weekend does not match what you get.

I stayed for one night. The property and parking area was was very dirty. The room was nothing to jump for joy. There was only 5 channels on the TV. The continental breakfast had scrambled eggs, waffles and biscuits and gravy. Overall, very disappointing for the price.

The breakfast was very limited. It was only eggs not a lot of options after that just mostly pastries. Also, Maintenance would go into your room while you’re trying to sleep and work on your room while you’re there and they’re allowed also, the elevators were dirty never really cleaned out as well as the rooms were already having some pre-existing holes and it was also a bit dirty For $200 a night. It’s better to be somewhere else in there.

Beach views are from the side of the building, not the front, so you could see down the beach and seawall. Parking is limited but an underground garage was also available. Room was clean, but overall rundown and needed repairs are visible in many areas.

This hotel is right across from the beach. Very affordable price, laundry on site. Decent continental breakfast. Only con, and no fault of the hotel, was the vinyl tile in the room was a little slippery from humidity. If you keep the ac low with the fan on high, it dries it out. Unfortunately we prefer our room to be a little warmer.

On Seawall Blvd but no balconies and VERY few rooms face the beach. Property was clean and staff was very good, but rooms were rough and cosmetic damage was poorly repaired and evident. If all you want is a place to crash and any place out of the weather will do, OK... otherwise????

They were very accommodating… had a wonderful experience. Got to relax in the Jacuzzi. Everyone was perfectly friendly.

I would never go back there again

So where do I start. The rooms online does not match seeing it in person. The first room on the second floor was a mess. The smell of the second floor was really bad. Mold smelling. Get in the room floor very slippery and the smell omg. So they moved us to another room. It was a little better. No smell and clean I guess the way they think it should be cleaned. But it will do. Towels needed but had to wait until the morning for clean towels. Ok whatever but the staff didn’t really understood what I was saying so I just direct all questions to the front staff. I will not be staying here again. Great location but it’s not for me. To many issues. Patio door didn’t open, microwave in the room was very nasty. If they do done renovation to this place. It really would be a great hotel to stay at.

The area was not to bad . Just wished the room was a little bit cleaner . It smell like someone left a wet towel through the night . Also you have very small hard pillows. You should feel more comfortable but it was ok. The staff was very helpful and very friendly.

Baños muy limpios, cuartos amplios, bonitos, clima muy eficiente y FRIO! Recepcion y el area de desayuno excelente; wifi fluido, estacionamiento amplio del hotel. Muy bien! La vista al mar esta brutal!!! Si acude en coche, puede trasladarse facilmente a los diversos comercios y restaurantes cercanos para surtir sus necesidades. Disfruten!

I enjoyed my stay very very much. The staff is amazing.

My balcony faced another hotel’s balcony with thick wires hanging done in front and you could barely see the beach if you turned your head 90 degrees. The bananas at the continental breakfast looked like they had been to the war front! The were brown and damaged. Also, there was no bedspread. They only had a small piece of a bedspread covering the foot of the bed. The window shade did not block the sun and the room was too bright for sleeping. The shower leaked water all over the floor and was slippery and dangerous.

Very disappointing stay. The room was not clean—the blanket looked dirty, the floors were unclean, and there was like mold in the bathtub. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, and this hotel did not meet it.

The rooms were very clean the beds were fresh And clean no bed bugs or hairs in the bed and smelled fresh. There were some stains on ceiling and around the doors. A/C was very nice and cold!! Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing!! The beach view was great on the balcony. I would highly recommend this property and I will most definitely be back here on my next vacation!

The room was poorly maintained. The hotel has three guest washers and dryers and they are all out of order. The breakfast was as it is in all the less expensive hotels. With so many options of less expensive hotels on the beach, I would go elsewhere and will not be returning to this one. There is no “hospitality “ from the workers, the hotel rooms are run down and obviously need decent maintenance. The lobby is bright and clean but deceiving for the rest of the hotel

The room floor was dirty. I got some water on the floor and I used a towel and it literally stained the towel black.

Room was nice and clean, however the bed had a dip in the middle. Even changed rooms and the bed was still sunken in.

It sufficed for what we needed it for which was just somewhere to stay overnight so we can catch our cruise in the morning. Recommendation is check-in, go to sleep, get out. Looking for anything more, this isn't the place for you.

Room was clean. Definitely needs updating. Laundry facility’s did not work . The fitness center was run down. They have had a problem with bed bugs. Thank God we didn’t have a problem. Probably would not stay here again

We stayed the night before our cruise. The property was clean, and well maintained. We had a view of the water, that was across the street from our room. Continental breakfast and a walk along then beach started our day, in a fine fashion. We will stay again.

Room was clean staff was great. The only thing was that tha laundry was out of order.

First and foremost, the staff is amazing!!! The rooms, lobby, hallways, etc are always super clean. The pool and hot tub are wonderful as well!

The beach access, the staff, and the bed was excellent! However, the shower was a bit dirty we had to clean it & the light switch was almost broken. The breakfast was pretty good. For the price I’d say it was pretty decent.

Room was clean, but still had bugs. Tv was broken. Giant gap under my door. Water was turned off for several hours with no warning both days of my stay. Maintenance hammering and drilling from 7am to 7pm, sleeping in was impossible. Lobby and halls were dirty and wet. Waited 45 minutes at checkout to get my receipt Overall it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The bath tub had rusty spots on it, there was wrappers on the floor in our room and the key to our room worked after 5 times of trying each time we left the room. Don't recommend.

So been remodeled but there were places in the bathroom around the tub that didn’t look good & was rusty. Over all the room was nice. The continental breakfast was also good. Plenty of breakfast items to choose from. If you are on a budget this place it worth it.

The 1st room i was given smelled like straight urine, but they had no problem changing it out. The 2nd room was ok, i got a balcony facing a house that was being worked on. It was ok because Galveston was cool there, so we were unable to sit out anyway. But all in all, we had a good time.

We checked into our hotel. The front staff was courteous and answered any questions we had. When we entered our room, the first thing that hit us was the smell! The room reeked of urine. The walls were cracking and bubbling in the corners with mold clearly visible. Red splotchy stains were noted on the bed cover slips. We called the front desk to let them know we were unsatisfied with the room condition and asked we be issued another room. They told us they were booked and could not accommodate us. We promptly left, and thankfully found another place to stay at 9:00p!

The bathroom door didn’t close, the main door to the room was about 4 inches of the floor. Bathtub was rusty, the room condition was deplorable. However, the sheets were clean. I wish I hadn’t booked there. The hot tub was closed. Take a look at my pictures.

However, the last night the guest on top of us was dragging furniture and walking around literally ALL NIGHT from 11p-until we checked out. Tried calling front desk but phones just kept beeping. Finally couldnt take it anymore with my baby crying and us not sleeping well... 5a went to the front desk. Not sure if they did anything but the person on top was still loud. So if youre looking for somewhere to rest this is NOT the place. Their breakfast is literally just eggs, 3 cereal choices and 2 waffle makers. Not worth the price of what we paid. Bathroom definitely needs an update. Bathtub was really worn out and there was gunk still in every corner of the room.

I have stayed here many times over the years and to date, this visit was the worst. Before, the worst was the frozen drains at Christmas of 2023 and that was out of their control. This visit included being put on the 3rd floor with one working elevator that we ended up getting stuck in and it was then closed. So only stairs to the 3rd for when walking was an already difficult task. I have never stay past the first floor but they had nothing else available. They are under renovation, which is great because it’s an older building but a decent place to stay with great staff. The entire 3rd floor was where they were starting so it was a mess. They also shut off the water while we were there. They had removed the tubs out of multiple rooms and were replacing them with shower pans. They did wait to have multiple ready to do all at once but I was stuck in a room with no water all day not able to get downstairs. It was just a lot for one trip and we were there for almost a week. I will definitely stay there again but just call and check with staff about the renovation progress before booking to make sure you can be accommodated ahead of time because usually it isn’t a problem. This time they were fully booked and unable to make the accommodation and I wasn’t aware. Hopefully it goes quickly before peak season starts.

Front desk clerk was nice. Liked the balcony. Had trouble with hot water and water pressure but maintenance couldn’t correct the problem. Only one elevator was working at check in but check out day neither elevator was working. Lots of trips up and down the stairs was no fun for seniors. No meat and strange egg product at breakfast.

It was my first time visiting Galveston. Staff was great! Amenities were lacking. Part of the reason we booked was for the hot tub which was "off" for the time we were there. Rooms were clean. Located right across from the beach! The entire building needs maintenance. One of only two elevators broke while we were there. The hotel was pretty much full because of Mardi Gras, so it was difficult getting up and down. Our shower had a dark, questionable substance come out on the last morning of our stay. It wasn't absolutely horrible for the price but next time, I will pay more for a newer hotel located closer to the action.

The entrance, the lobby, the halls and the rooms. All the floors were extremely slippery. A true hazard. As if they moped with soap. The room had a strong bleach smell. We almost wanted to leave the door open to air out. The room was not as clean as we expected it to be.

Staff was not attentive. When I arrived and checked out there was guest complaining about their stay. AC units barely blew cold air. I stayed in a suite. Room 302. Shower head was clogged and dirty. Tub was rusted. Door frames had chipped paint and doors got stuck. The main elevator was out of order the full stay. No meat served during breakfast. Just watery eggs, bread, cereal, waffle. Would not recommend.

I did have a few frustrations. I barely had hot water 4 out of 5 nights. For some reason it never truly heated except for one night. While tv is not the focus of the beach vacation, the channel offerings are very limited with not terribly great reception. I had to have my door key rekeyed twice while I was there. Nothing terrible, but kept it from being a 5 star stay. Regardless, I’ll stay there again because the good outweighs any little frustrations. It’s a great economical choice!

For the price of $64 2 non-smoking queen beds for Jan 2026 Iwould give it a 10 out of 10. There was some rust under the water spout in the bathtub but everything else was really great 👍👍. Front desk helped me change$5 into quarters therefore I was able to do laundry in the guest laundry room. It would have been nice if the vending machine had laundry detergent but it was sold out and I had to go to the nearby Walmart to get it. Breakfast was okay because there was a little bit of hot food such as waffles and hot eggs along with coffee and fruit juices.

Our room (Rm 116), needs to have the bed replaced. It was the worst bed we have ever slept on!! It was like a "sink hole" and had noisy springs, and no back support. Room also needed more lighting. This hotel is a value, but it is in need of repair. Had to move rooms due to HVAC issues. Definately not deserving of a very good rating.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was great and the establishment very clean, inside and out. The room itself was large and had an ocean view from the balcony. The room looked as though it had been newly refurbished, by someone’s inept brother-in-law. There was a very deep, distinct dip in the floor under brand new LVP flooring-dangerous to anyone who has a balance or walking difficulty. The sprinkler heads were painted over and there was paint splattered all over EVERYTHING. Wi-fi was very spotty. Breakfast was just “meh”. Not a lot a variety, but filling. We will not stay there again anytime soon.

Long waits for elevators. My door wouldn't open so I had to walk all the way back to request a new room. The hallways are pretty beaten up. My room was outdated but the bed seemed clean. I like that they had a refrigerator and microwave! The tub surrounded has mold on it so I didn't shower. The shower head was covered in rust or something orange. Breakfast seemed good. I just got yogurt and made a waffle. Parking available and just across the Beach. So it overall depends on your expectations.

First of all, the fire alarm went off. (False alarm) Then in the middle of the night, our bed ended up soaking wet. Apparently, the sprinkler system pressured up and sprung a leak and dripped onto the bed, saturating everything. The office staff were very accomodating and got us a new room.immediately. But the next night, the people above us stomped all night. I didnt sleep the entire time I was there.

I travel a few times a year and not to picky. This place I will not stay again. One key card didn't work. It was freezing and I asked for an extra blanket, they did not have one. Rooms are older and needs some updating to at least one of the bathrooms(rust on different parts of the shower tub). Appreciated the flooring (no carpet). Good continental breakfast the kids enjoyed. Only stayed for one night and it was a great value for the price.

The hotel was a little ragged around the edges. During my two night stay, I had to sleep in two different rooms. The TV in my first room stopped working. During my stay I dealt with four different front desk staff about other small problems. My door key did not work on my first room and housekeeping did not service my room. None of the staff seemed to know much about the city. I had a few basic questions about driving directions and the location of different places. Mostly, they did not seem to know the area. The breakfast was sufficient. There was plenty of hot water. Towels and linens were fresh. Ice machines worked well. I would say overall it was an okay experience.

Had issues from the beginning. The door handle was upside down. Had to have maintenance show that the door handle was wrong to enter the room. Staff made it seem like I was doing something wrong and didnt acknowledge or apoligize for the issue of the handle or bugs. There was a roach on the door frame. Room wasn't very clean, carpet stained, walls were dirty, furniture broken. Bathroom was clean and well stocked but the last remodel was done poorly with horrible paint, wall and ceiling texture falling down, uneven, unmatched flooring. Shower curtain rod and fixtures were corroded. Very cheaply done and a poor hotel for the price, even though it was a holiday weekend. I would have found somewhere else to stay if there was something else available.

The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the Continental Breakfast was excellent. The only thing we didn't enjoy was looking out our window at the other hotel's garbage that was overflowing.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. Right on the seawall for a great price. Just needed a place to stay for a night and it was sufficient. Safe and well lit. You can tell the hotel has been effected by hurricanes in the past but thats to be expected.

The staff were very nice. Our room was clean. We have never stayed this far down the Seawall. , but Galveston is fairly easy to find our way around. We are happy we found this hotel.

The room smelled of very strong cleaning products. The cruise parking went from $20 to $40. I called before making a reservation to confirm they still offered cruise parking and was told it was still $20. It must have changed from the time the reservation was made and the check in date. I like the size of the rooms, the location and the good breakfast served every morning. We were there for 3 nights.

Someone tried entering my room at 2 am forcefully. Tried to call the front desk and they never would answer. Person came back and tried to get in again, went to the door and told them they had the wrong room… they apologized but how forcefully they tried to get in and two times in a row made it feel sketchy. There was also left over hair and looked like dried wax in the bathtub. Breakfast was good and location was nice though

The room and property could use some upkeep. The hall rugs were dirty, our closet closure was hanging by a thread, just stuff like that. But it was convenient to what we needed. It was too windy and cold for the beach and other things that were there but there was easy parking underneath the building, the breakfast was fine. We used the laundry but the dryer was way too hot even though we had asked for normal. The staff didn't seem very engaged with the guests. But, the motel worked for what we needed and it was a reasonable price compared to other places.

The floor has a turpentine smell.Room has this slippery coating floor considering we booked for handicapped. Breakfast time is 6am to 9am which is kinda early esp for people who are on vacation and wanted to sleep late, when most places ends at 10am or even 11am. Overall I would stay here again, it’s Fall currently so not sure how the room would hold up in the summer. Very slight humidity in room and summer might be an issue if the rooms aren’t kept cool enough.

We arrived early and was able to get in our room. We spent the evening in the pool. The beach is right across the street. Your room will not have a view of the beach as they are on the sides of the hotel.

El lugar es muy tranquilo, cerca de lugares de comida que incluso puedes ir caminando. Al cruzar la calle Está el mar. El lugar se mantiene limpio pero necesita mantenimiento. Los trabajadores son muy amables y serviciales. Tiene desayunos en la mañana pero solo huevos revueltos, bagels, café y wafle. Tiene abundantes parqueos al rededor del edificio. La habitación tiene buen tamaño, no se veía sucia. El baño no tienen gel o shampoo, solo jabones pequeños. La piscina se veía limpia y bien mantenida.

Very nice stay

Paid extra for the balcony with a beach view. You could in fact see the beach by leaning over the railing but not what the picture showed. It was a nice place to stay though. Clean and easy access and right on the seawall.

Courteous staff, great location and price. Seemed clean, but we did see one dead cockroach. Definitely needs some updating. Stained worn carpet, trim and doors needs painting, and rust stains in tub.

As soon as we walked in you could tell it was clean Pool hot tub looked nice parking garage so no problem! I’d stay again

Great place to stay can walk to the beach

The staff we interacted with were friendly. We had an issue of not having hot water, when I went to take a shower, the first night we were there. My husband reported it, first thing, in the morning & it was fixed when we returned to our room later in the day.

As usually three staff was polite, the room was great. This is my 2nd year staying at this Hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will make sure to use this location when I come next October.

Be the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the bed gave way in the middle like the support for it was broken. All the staff was very nice and the breakfast was feeling.

The floor was slippery, the walls were cracked, there were rust stains dripping from all of the wall outlets and wall coverings, there was missing trim throughout the room, the laminate flooring was raised in a bunch of places, water from the ac unit above our room dripped water onto our balcony and onto us and the latch for the door catch was coming unscrewed
