The staff and amenities were great. The breakfast is the only thing for improvement that comes to mind. Otherwise everything else was great.

Breakfast photos were deceiving. No waffle machine & no pancake machine. Same breakfast everyday. They didn’t clean rooms or even empty garbage cans daily. Didn’t refill toilet paper or bath towels with soap, etc. I had to leave early than expected because I couldn’t take the garbage not being emptied. When I asked for toilet paper it took over 24 hours to get any.

I truly enjoyed my stay here. From the minute I walked in the room, the soft, fresh smell of the room, the layout - everything was awesome. Staff were friendly and the location was within a good distance to everywhere I needed to go. I will definitely stay again in the future. I wish I could’ve stayed longer just to relax in the room!😊

I booked the suite at a. Very reasonable price. It had a spacious living room, bedroom and kitchenette. The kitchen had large refrigerator, microwave, stove top heating elements, microwave, pots and pans and basic utensils for cooking. It even has a garbage disposal. Every thing was well taken care of. The teenage grand kids were very impressed with our stay.

The hotel was clean, very welcoming, and equipped with all amenities.

The room was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. If I had to say something it would be the i couldn't get in my room til 3pm which is check in time but it was the only thing I wish I could've changed. No fault to staff. They were still amazing.

The rooms were clean, but the bathroom ceiling had about 5 spots where it was peeling. However, they were in the process of painting and updating rooms, so those spots on the ceiling may get taken care of soon. Breakfast was good. The sofa bed was actually much more comfortable than typical sofa beds where you feel every spring and hear every squeak. Would definitely stay here again.

Lilly was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. Located in a safe area and is convenient to attractions.

I like the large modern rooms.

The handicap-accessible suite, featuring a king bed and a queen pull-out couch, is very clean and spacious. The king bed uses a spring mattress, and any movement—such as a partner turning during sleep—causes the entire bed to shake.

Food was fresh but selection was not good for breakfast. Waffle maker is always a hit. More true breakfast meats less chicken rings, pork nuggets, more egg options

Front desk staff was very accommodating when we needed to change our room due to an overpowering animal stink in our first room. Second room was fine however the bedding needs a refresh, the duvet cover was filled with holes and really looked ratty. This hotel could overall use an update. The rooms were clean and the staff was always curtious to us. The breakfast was okay if you stayed away from the hot food. They did have oatmeal and overnight chia and oatmeal that were good. The facilities were nice but this is not a luxury hotel. There may have been staffing issues as the rooms were not cleaned even when we asked for them to be cleaned.

The fire alarm went off twice-at 4am and midnight. The AC was SO LOUD. Ants in the kitchen. Room cleaning didn't happen even when requested.

Good amount of handicap parking. Breakfast was hearty. They were assigning rooms on floors where new wall paper was being put up in hallway. Only one elevator was working. The fire alarm went off a few times, false alarms.

I liked the kitchen amenities. I liked the size of the room. The bed was hard. They were remodeling the floor I was put on, which was a HUGE inconvenience. The smell of the chemicals being used was overwhelming.

We booked a room to break up the drive from OBX to Akron Ohio. It was easy to find but upon arrival the lobby was warm and muggy, one of two elevators was out of service. We took stairs when possible. Our room smelled musty like they haven't cleaned the air conditioning. Since its a pet friendly hotel it smelled like they used lysol to cover up the urine from previous bookings, which would be remedied if they had removed the carpet and replaced with ceramic tile or laminate. Our light fixtures were dingy with film like they never been cleaned, and the paint was peeling around the window area. Lastly, although the cabinets were stocked nicely, the trash can was way too small.

Had a unit with a kitchen. First time I ever stayed in a unit with a kitchen that did not have a kitchen sponge. They did, however have dish soap.

Liked the staff...courteous and helpful. At first glance, the room looked lovely and clean. One day, the elevators were not working. Being on the 5th floor and at my "mature" age, this was not ideal but I dealt with it. Needed the laundry room and someone had left their dried laundry in all the dryers - for hours. Back to my room: I was washing a bowl and a spoon when I dropped the spoon. Upon picking it up, I noticed down on the bottom of the wall---4 areas that had been peed on by a cat.!!!! Blatantly obvious. This sweet critter had also scratched and shredded both front sides of the couch. The new ? refrigerator was clean but quite noisy. Although the bedding seemed to be clean the top cover was terribly old and lumpy. I held it up to the light and could see where the filling fibers were so old they were merely blobs of lumpy fiber scattered throughout the lining. On pulling the curtains open, I noticed that there still needed to be some finish work on the top frames of the windows... BREAKFAST was quite lovely. Basic but very tasty with an assortment of extras : pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Upon checking out, I was mistakenly charged for parking ( I did not have a vehicle! ) and purchases from the little "shop". Fortunately, they took care of this right away. Would I come here again? I don't think so. There is potential but rooms really need to be in better shape.

The shower was nice The breakfast was awful not worth the additional that was added to the room for free breakfast. None of us were able to actually eat it both mornings we were there eggs rubbery and the turkey bacon was chewy rubber. My husband we are more than positive got food poisoning from the breakfast because within a half hour after eating he was projectile vomiting and him and I spent the trip in the room, unable le to go into DC to sight see lime we had planned with out friends, and he proceeded to have bouts of vomiting and diarrhea the whole time there. We had screaming kids in the room next to us and that's all we could hear all night. Not sure if they have had issues with bedbugs but I had bite marks on me after our stay there and as a precaution I fumigated our suitcase and have left ir in the garage since trip and I carefully washed our clothes in hot water and dried the max amount I could.

Staff were wonderful, stayed on the 7th floor, signs of water damage on ceiling and around windows, mouse droppings on the cover of the pull out bed. Wish they had a waffle maker. Generally it was fine, but the chairs and pull out bed were uncomfortable, and there was no fan in the bedroom.

It was a short stay for us visiting family over the weekend but we loved the kind staff and breakfast included in the morning. The rooms were also spacious and nice. We loved having a kitchen since we have small kids and needed one. This was the main reason for booking this property. We were a little disappointed that the kitchen only came stocked with 2 pans. It made getting dinner ready a little difficult. Extra towels and washcloths after we got in later at night were also only available if we came down to the front desk to get them. No one could deliver them to the room since the housekeeping staff had left for the day. That was a little frustrating bc we had already settled in and gotten the kids set to start their baths so we just did without the extras which would have been helpful. Otherwise short and pleasant stay

The suite was perfect for our stay , it was roomy, spotless and had everything we needed ! ( for myself and 3 grandchildren) . Checking in and out was so easy with the pleasant , efficient and helpful staff at the front desk , Alison and Nikki . They were funny and kind ,and their manager was just as nice . I would recommend this hotel to anyone !

Offered plenty of space for our 3 kids to stretch out after a long car ride. Of course someone complained that the kids were loud, but the front desk staff and security were nice and understanding. The front desk staff (Allison and Paul) were great btw. Very helpful with local recommendations and attentive to our needs during our 3 day stay. The breakfast was decent too. Although the staff in that area can be a bit rude. They don’t speak English, so the one lady just grunts at you to move and will wave you away if you ask any questions. Don’t let her ruin your breakfast though. It’s all good. Comfortable seating and plenty of places to sit. They even have a few big screens you can watch there. The also have a nice gym! Treadmills, Smith Machine, and Free weights up to 60lbs! No excuses dude! Overall this place was good. The rooms could use a little updating. I don’t think I heard a vacuum cleaner run while I was there lol but maybe it as electric. Our room was pretty clean and cool.

I call before I got the and the front desk kept putting me on hold but hanging up and when I got there, the front desk was very Irritated and you can tell the next morning when I woke up it was no water and I was told that the Pipes bust, but the water was back on within 30 minutes

After checking in, I looked at the hotel's website and found that their prices for the exact same room were significantly lower than what Expedia charged us. The difference was approximately $20 a day, which could have helped us manage our unexpected expenses better. I approached the hotel staff, explained our situation, and requested if they could honor their lower price instead of the higher Expedia rate. Despite explaining our circumstances, the staff refused to adjust the price. This lack of customer concern and consideration during such a trying time was deeply disappointing. After checking in, I looked at the hotel's website and found that their prices for the exact same room were significantly lower than what Expedia charged us. The difference was approximately $20 a day, which could have helped us manage our unexpected expenses better. I approached the hotel staff, explained our situation, and requested if they could honor their lower price instead of the higher Expedia rate. The bathroom only had three towels and was not clean in our room, there was dust and hair on the countertop ledges. The garbage disposal had stuff in it when we arrived. The coffee bar in the room was not stocked and almost empty.

Perfect room for a family of 6 with full kitchen. Breakfast was good - food options were limited but still enough yo have a good full plate! Pool was clean and staff super friendly!

And while I'm sure it was an anomaly given time of year there was a significant ant problem in our room and the room next door. We changed hotels after one night but the front desk crew was very understanding and accommodating and refunded their portion of our stay.

I paid for a double bed suite… I was not given the room i reserved and paid for. They told me that i was a guaranteed a room but not room type. Turns out they were booked and because there was an event in the area, overcharged for the room. Refused to refund me the difference and allegedly told expedia they offered a roller bed when they lied and did no such thing!

Nice overnight stay

When we arrived at 4:00 (one hour after check in time) our room was not ready. We were told it could be an hour or longer before it was ready. We had a function at Georgetown to attend and needed to change clothes. We were told we could change in public bathroom. Unacceptable.

Outdated with bugs in room

The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Barbara the manager who checked us in. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Huge room! Beds were comfortable but nothing to write home about. Breakfast according to my 21 year old daughter was meh. Overall though for the price it was great. Close to Metro if you have a car to get to Shady Grove (red line). Well positioned relative to restaurants and shopping.

I stayed here with my daughter and 2 grandchildren and the room was very spacious. The front desk people were helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was a warm respite from what started out as a tragic VRBO rental experience; however, since there were 5 of us, we requested an extra place setting for meals that we were preparing in the room and, even though the gentleman at the desk took our request, the extra place setting never materialized in our room. This was very disappointing as we only had enough dishes for four of us.

A very wonderful experience. The staff is very accommodating. However The first night we stayed our room thermostat did not work and all the other rooms were booked solid and it just so happened to be a night that it snowed and hit below freezing temperatures. It would have been great to change rooms but it was impossible. But the very next morning the front desk got us into a better room upgrade and was very nice and friendly about the whole situation.

I like everything about homewood, it's like home away from home.

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast was not a good option. Not much to choose from. If you’re looking for pancakes, waffles, grits and anything else other than cereal and oatmeal plan on getting up early to go get your own breakfast.

Room was very clean. Refrigerator was very noisy. Breakfast was a bit sparse. Only apple juice was offered. Muffins were ok. Tiny. No waffles.

Suite was very spacious and accommodated my wheelchair bound mother-inlaw. Management was friendly at front desk.

Great location. Breakfast was included and hot. We needed the sofa bed. It was the absolute worst. You can feel the springs through it. They did have roll away beds but the hotel would not let us have 2. I made the reservation for 2 queens and when I got there they asked if I would switch to a king upgrade. It was not an upgrade, we actually lost a bed and had to sleep on the couch which was terrible. A few electrical outlets in the room did not work which was inconvenient. They had 3 treadmills. 2 had out of service signs on them and the third one was clearly broken. Our room also did have a heavy animal order in it.

This was the first hotel in about 4-5 hotel stays (different hotels around the same price range) where everything was clean and working and we didn't have to ask the front desk for anything. It was refreshing to actually get what you pay for and we are thankful for Homewood Suites giving us a nice a relaxing night with plenty of space for the kids!

2. I asked for trash to be taken out of my room on my second day - it was never done But no reason why I would not stay again Staff was pleasant

Hotel staff was friendly however the hotel was very dirty. The room smelled like weed. Beware it’s pet friendly and for those who do not have pets the smell was obvious. I will never stay at this property again. Not even close to a 2.0 rating.

When I went to check out I was told by the front dest person I'd have to file a complaint with Travelocity to get my money back for the one night. It turns out that person was incorrect and that I wasn't charged for that night after all. Why would I want to do business with Hilton if the best they can offer is "I'm sorry". I did better in a low end roadside motel in Maine not too long ago.

Amazing.

Everything was great. They had snacks for sale downstairs and small items to cook that attracted my kids. My kids enjoyed the pool outside. I only can complain about the comfort level of the bed but that’s because I’m use to my bed. The bed here was very uncomfortable to me. But the room was very spacious and bathroom was clean.

Stayed for 11 nights! It was a good experience.
