Excellent location near North Bethesda where I had business.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Washington D.C. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was stocked with Dove products and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Front desk was very friendly and professional. The hotel was located in a great spot and it was about a 15 min drive to the Shady Groove Metro Station which we took to DC. Will stay again when we come back to DC

Also loved that the property collected delivery packages at no charge.

The location is most convenient for me. It is located off an I-270 exit. There are plenty of choices of food and restaurants around the hotel.

I think the hotel needs a new look. It needs to be renovated and revamped. The bathroom is dated. I was not pleased with the AC. It was not as cold as I wanted it. The thermostat didn’t go below 66 and it said low battery.

We didn't eat at the restaurant so this review doesn't go towards them. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. We were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub to relax in after a long day of walking. The beds were very comfortable. I have scoliosis so finding a good hotel bed is hard to come by. I fell asleep within 5 minutes of laying down. During our stay they had multiple busses but if we didn't see the busses we wouldn't have known. You don't need to pack shampoo conditioner body wash or soap as they supply the rooms with Dove everything. The water pressure is amazing. I will definitely be back when I need a hotel by DC

Older property but clean and comfortable. Rooms very large. For the price, it was good for a 5 night stay. I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner. Pizza not very good. Breakfast buffet was $17, so we usually went to nearby Panera. Staff very friendly. I’d stay there again.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable. I’ve slept on better mattresses, but it was acceptable. The breakfast was a nice variety of carbs and protein. Good coffee and I personally enjoyed the orange juice. The pool is seasonal, so we didn’t get to try out that since it was only March. Overall, a nice place to stay for the price.

Amazing, helpful, friendly front desk and cleaning staff! The furniture in our room looked like it was from the 70’s except for the beds which seemed new and comfortable. Very disappointed the indoor pool was not open/working as this was the main reason we booked.

Property was astonishing. Even under renovations, you couldn't tell and the noise level was next to nothing. Would recommend and definitely be back!

The pictures does no justice in showing the truth of this hotel: the rooms although were clean, they are dated the hotel looks like it needs a lot of upgrades. The site I booked stated that we get two vouchers for breakfast but was denied because the hotel didn’t want to validate the fact that breakfast was included w our stay because I booked the hotel through a third party. The manager refused to even give us a courtesy he said to reach out to who I booked and take it up with them, even after I showed proof in my confirmation that it was included with our stay. Needless to say I will be staying elsewhere next time. Also the hotel amenities were very gloomy and deserted.

Me and my fiancé was bit by some bug ( maybe a bed bug). My fiancé was bit on her forehead, while I was bit on my thigh and back. I also had to deal with a broken toilet for the two days I was there

were poorly lit and the temperature control was not great. Breakfast was mediocre, and the sausage was not cooked through. When I told the breakfast attendant, I was simply told more sausage was coming. I don’t recommend this hotel.

I did not have breakfast in the hotel. I had a coffee maker in the room, and I loved it. I have been to this hotel several times. I have always had good experiences.

Room was clean, sufficient. The desk doesn't know how to follow through on requests though, so even though we booked well in advance and called immediately after booking, they still didn't give us rooms where the door could open between them. We did, however, get requested bathtubs in each room which was also important as we were there to visit grandchildren who couldn't use showers easily. Pool was cold but was warmed up after we let them know. Breakfast is $17, not complimentary and although it looked like it might be tasty, there are many places nearby that can easily beat this price and still hold the quality of what is being offered. A bit of a disappointment with a Holiday Inn where they used to offer a complimentary breakfast that was enough to start the day just fine, something I think they should reconsider bringing back.

I want to share my appreciation for the kindness of the staff here— I misplaced a necklace during my stay and while we weren’t able to find it, the combined effort of the front desk and housekeeping team meant a lot in terms of relieving the stress over losing something dear to us. Will be recommending this place! We loved the pool too

The staff was very welcoming and helpful, but the hotel is outdated and noisy. The bed and pillows were horrible, the towels were also very bad and stiff. You could hear everything in the hallway into your room and the room next door had super loud music past midnight. Would not recommend staying here. Pay the extra 50-100$ for a better hotel in the area.

The place was good only complaint was the heat wouldn't stay on long enough to keep the room warm

Quick check in, clean, quiet and comfortable accommodations for my 10 hour stay.

No complaints - will likely stay at this location again. Also love the little snack area by the front desk - with several options for drinks, microwavable dinners, and refrigerated snacks like yogurt. Check in was quick and staff member was very friendly - helped me fix my reservation when we realized I had booked it for the wrong dates. Highly recommend!

The Holiday Inn Gaithersburg is fine but it really needs updating. The fan was loud and we were not able to turn it off which was very annoying. The staff was friendly and helped with any questions we had. The housekeeping was lacking, coming only once during our four night stay and forgetting hand towels.

Room needs a serious makeover. Bathroom smells like mold. Carpet was dirty. There was is a stain on the bed skirt.

Elodie was extremely helpful to us during our stay and so professional. Chose this spot for its location which was close to family. The hotel is a bit dated but well kept. We passed on the breakfast buffet as it was limited (charge was $16.95 + tax) and not as appealing as say, the Hampton Inn breakfast. But overall we had a pretty nice stay.

The room was clean and in very good repair. Best of all down at your bar Lisa the bartender's did a fantastic job of keeping myself and my friend waited upon without being there constantly. They did a fantastic job down there.

Overall my experience was pretty good. Mouna who helped checked me in was super nice and extremely professional. The bed was comfortable and the room is clean. The only 2 downsides is that appliances coukd be more updated specifically the bathroom and the elevators and I was having problems with my room key. I had to get like 4 different sets of keys and calling maintenance wasn’t really much help but maybe it was the room I was in. Really good location. Overall I will stay again

I checked in through Expedia I am also a member of Holiday Inn club. I told the gentleman he said he would not give me credit for this day didn't appreciate it the night before I stayed at a Hilton I did the same thing there told him I'mma help remember and they extended the things that they would to any other member and thank you for staying there. Don't understand why Holiday Inn would not give me credit for this day?

Although this was a last minute/ short stay, I must say Warm and welcoming front desk staff.

we needed to stay an additional two days due to car trouble and we were able to keep the same room we booked. Everyone was very helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Biggest issue was the bed and bedding…both were extremely uncomfortable.

The room door needs fixing . It’s hard to open and when it does it makes a loud sound. I could hear other room doors with the same sound. Bath tub fills with water when showering. Water doesn’t go down the drain as it should . Mattress wasn’t comfortable

My door knob came off inside my room resulting in my family being locked inside for hours. Which is really more of a safety concern, luckily there was no fire!

Had a great experience on our stay, they were kind enough to let us check in early for an affordable extra fee, and let us leave our stuff on the way so we can enjoy the day and come back to pick up before our take off.

Only bad thing was that card keys were difficult to use, as they constantly wouldnt open the door. Had to call maintenance twice, and was issued about eight different keys.

Clean,Cool,Relaxing and inexpensive

The overall temperature in the restaurant, public areas and hallways was too cold. (I am ALWAYS HOT, but even I was cold in those areas.) I would encourage guests to bring a sweater or jacket, especially for dining. Breakfast was always good. Dinners were fairly good as well, just pricey. There are a few dining choices nearby (easy walking distance) We especially liked the food at Irene's Honduran Restaurant on Russell. My husband mistakenly extended our stay, but the charge was removed. However, the final folio looks wrong to us. Our price was supposed to include breakfast for two (out of 3) of us. But we were charged for 3 breakfasts each day anyway. Unfortunately, we didn't discover this until after we left. Hopefully, we can get it straightened out over the phone.

Everything under one roof and perfect location. For business travelers, especially for those that are in a different place each week, they have a laundry, pool, and restaurant! Super easy and some of the best Staff around!

Overall a great stay, you can tell the hotel is a little older, but well kept up. The room is a little cramped with too much furniture, but a good value for the area. We felt very safe.

The tub filled up with 6-8 inches of water when showering. The manager promised the same rate for another night and when i called to book was told the hotel would not honor the promise.

My room had a TV that was practically brand new. The manufacturer date was less than two year ago. I was able to hook my usb ssd 4tb with video and watch in 4k. I also was able to play my PS5 as well. Modern gym equipment as well.

I had to leave another hotel in the same area because of the odor in the rooms so I was pleasantly surprised that your hotel was clean and the staff was outstanding. I loved that you also have a restaurant in the lobby because I had a six hour drive and was extremely too tired to go out for anything. Thank you.

The service desk was amazing. Polite, professional, and efficient. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was clean. Service by Q and Kenny was absolutely amazing. Food was cooked perfect and absolutely no wait for drinks and food. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others staying in the area.

Outdated smelly hotel

We originally had a room where multiple a/c units were right outside our room and it was really loud and couldn’t sleep. We called reception to request a quieter room and they immediately moved us. Staff was very friendly.

They need to upgrade the access control at the property. The room key or the reader had to be reset 3 times. I recommend using Avigilon Alta Access Control, by Motorola Solutions. George Amoako is the rep for the Mid-Atlantic.

Good hotel hotel excep breakfast dinning room service poor as waitress was slow and. Good never served/left without food served due to slowness-only ordered waffles with only 3 customers there at the time.

The room was well equipped with power outlets and lighting. Loved the 3 types of pillow softness.. Mattress very comfortable but difficult to get onto. European style mattress? Bathtub had low sides, easy to enter, exit.

Overall we had a great stay. The staff in the kitchen were so nice and attentive even with the busy flow of people coming in. The hotel could definitely use some upgrades though. There wasn't a smart TV, no USB or type C plug ins with the outlets, the Tub/Shower looked old and messy with all the terrible caulking it had, the button for the elevator on the 5th floor was shattered which was not safe. Also I have never experienced a hotel running out of hot water so that was interesting. The pool room has so much potential. You can see where the hotub used to be and the water feature on the back wall was not on. I think with some improvements this hotel will be much better.
