Everything was really nice, breakfast was good.. outside of the bug that started crawling on my husband in the middle of the night. Google lens said it may have been a carpet beetle? The staff was super friendly though!

The property is a little older but the staff is great. Mostly clean. They just need to focus on dusting. The vents had a bunch of dust. But it was not a big deal because everything else was clean.

Clean and comfortable for the money. Enjoyed the free breakfast. Plenty of parking. Great location. It does need some updating and maintenance though. The carpet in the hallway was so stained and gross. Needs to be replaced. The landscaping could use some attention too. Just sends a bad message. I would stay there again.

The stay wasn’t bad and our room was clean but everything needs a deep cleaning. All the flooring and the seating in the breakfast area needs a good steam cleaning.

Hotel was great. Very polite and helpful staff. Beds and pillows were amazing. Breakfast was well organized and had everything needed for a nice breakfast.

We felt very welcome there. The room had a little wear but the staff was incredible. The location was convenient and easy to access.

The room is large. There were issues with our room in the morning; a piece of trim fell off the wall onto someone. The toilet would not flush. Breakfast was mediocre with what appeared to be dried eggs and the toast wouldn't fit into the toaster. The carpet in the hallway on the 2nd floor was nasty. The place just needed basic upkeep all over.

I have stayed in this hotel several times while visiting my sister in law. It is acceptable and close by for the rating. Acceptable clean hotel to sleep in that also has daily breakfast. Nothing fancy. Employees have always been friendly.

Parking was excellent and the air conditioning was fine.

The hotel is outdated and the carpets need cleaned. It is showing its age. The gym is good.

The hotel was very clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the couch and kitchenette made it a relaxing space rather than just a sleeping space. The shower was perfect. There were plenty of electrical & USB outlets.The TV streaming apps were convenient. The breakfast was restaurant quality and having fresh coffee all day was great. This was by far the best hotel stay we have experienced in the area. It was a good value for the money spent.

The bathroom was clean but there was a terrible odor in the room that I discovered to be coming from carpet.The chair in the room was dirty with stains and this really made me uncomfortable.This was a nice place to stay overall just needs to take these conditions in consideration and replace or restore.Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

75.00 for 1 pet overnight is ridiculous. When booked thru hotels.com there is no place to put a pet is traveling with you. It was a total surprise to find out the price of our pup.

I had car trouble and not only stayed the night but had to leave my car for a few days before I could get service for it. They could not have been more sympathetic or helpful. It was a nice treat in the midst of the issues I was dealing with.

The breakfast was good, not the best I have ever had but better than basic continental breakfast. They had eggs, meat, oatmeal w/ toppings and make your own waffles in 2 flavors. The front desk was friendly and professional. There was coffee and tea 24/7. Some cosmetic damage in places and the carpet is dirty in the hallway like someone dragged leaking trash bag throughout it. The traffic from the road was loud, really loud so if you aren’t use to that at night you might not sleep much. The elevator is crazy slow. Might be the slowest I have been in.

Everything was good Small things - Beds creak when getting up so the middle of the night bathroom break disrupted others sleep. 2nd stay at a Hampton Inn in less than a week (other in NY) and both times the Oatmeal (after 8am) was cold.

Very nice accomodations ... next to everything we needed ...outle mall, Hamrick's, Cracker Barrel. Very clean , updated. TV lacks local area news and network options though.

The hallway floors need to be cleaned. My mattress over was stained. Upon my arrival the desk clerk was not friendly. I will not stay at this hotel again. This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover.

The staff is amazing! The front desk ladies all the way to housekeeping. Corporate should use this hotel staff as a prime example of what hospitality and service should look like. My family and I are all very happy about choosing this hotel.

While the stay, overall, was good, there were a few things that were not, especially the bathroom. The shower area was old and outdates as the caulking, was old, cracking and failing. The one shower door was not completely in tact and the water pressure was very low. The room itself was nice but needs more light, as the the two lamps by the beds were inadequate to help provided light in the room, as was the desk lamp.

Wonderful staff, the lady that checked me in gave me a bereavement discount after mentioning I was there for a funeral. She was very friendly and went above and beyond! The room was very clean too!

My wife fell and fractured her femur at the property…all staff would do is fill out an incident report, according to “corporate policy” and “they” would get back to us! No time period was given as to when they would respond! Meanwhile, my wife had to undergo surgery to repair her broken leg after a long ambulance ride to another city!

We needed to use the pull out sofa bed. Usually those are the worst to sleep on. It was one of the best we've ever used at a hotel. Very happy we ended up staying here as a last min resort due to a hurricane in our area.

To start, I want to say that this hotel is not three stars as advertised. I have been in two-star hotels and they look much better than this one. When we checked in, they told us that we had to pay a fee for my dogs and when we booked, they didn't say anything at all. That's well hidden even at the bottom of the page. They didn't even give us a discount because it was their fault that they didn't explain to us when we were checking out the rooms that we had to pay a separate charge for the dogs and we did the checking in at 8 pm very late but they didn't even care about an apology. They simply told us that we had done it through Hotel.com and that it was not their fault that, they had not explained to us, the disgusting carpets and the very dirty air conditioning.

They graciously allowed us to park our long 43’ trailer and truck in their parking lot. Both lady’s working the front desk were extremely courteous. Hotel appeared to be well taken care of. Room was nice and clean. Great place to stay.

The property was beautiful. The room was excellent and was big enough for two people. The sheets, pillows, and bed linings was comfortable, that made a good night rest. The breakfast area was clean and had a lot of different items to choose from. Front desk employee was helpful. The only thing that I did not like, when I asked the front desk employee about paying the hotel bill in cash, she stated that they do not accept cash payments.

Conveniently located off of Highway 85, but it smelled stale. Dirty carpets in hallway. Front desk person was smoking right outside the front door, and smoke wafed into the lobby. If you have allergies to perfume, as I do; strangely the sheets or pillows smelled of perfume. All in all, it was convenient to Highway.

My first room was clean but the bed sheets in the second room I had to move to were dirty. There was a dirty piece of tissue stuck in the peephole, dust and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.

It was, -OK! There was no housekeeping for the Fri - Sunday stay. Room smelled musty, and there was a tear in the sheets of the bed that should have been caught before making the bed after the last guest! So, it was just OK! Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel was good - no problems! We had our dog with us, and paid a $75 pet fee! We traveled from California and stayed at 5 other like-hotels along the way, paying no more than $25 for the pet fee. Is this the normal rate in SC?!!

I had a early morning flight. Called before to see if I can check in early. The manager said yes. When I got to the hotel the one running the front desk had an attitude about me being there so early. She kept reminding me how check in is at 3pm. So I kept reminding her that the manager said it would be ok. Finally was able to get to my room. Hallway carpet was disgusting and smelled spoiled. The room was pretty clean. Great mattress. Other than that it was a good stay.

My ONLY complaint was how filthy the carpet was in the hallway on the second floor. Our room was very clean though. We will stay again when I visit my family in Chesnee.

Unfortunately this was perhaps the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at. Normally I can count on a Hampton Inn to be clean and feel safe. Parking was poorly lit and far from the door. A family was camped out staying in their car with their children running the parking lot at 11pm. Overwhelming smell of cleaner at check in. Trash in the hallway in bags on the floor were there when I arrived and still there when I left. The smell in the morning from it was disgusting. The only positives were that my room was clean and the two employees I encountered were pleasant.

First was the water temperature in the shower. The water temperature was lukewarm at best our first night (cold for me) and then warm the rest our stay despite turning the dial to hot. Second was the breakfast. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns before and this one was the least satisfying. We usually look for Hampton Inns when we travel because of the breakfasts, and have a level of expectation based on past experiences at them. The breakfast at this one was on the low end relative to others.

The staff at the Hampton Inn Gaffney were amazing - incredibly friendly from the front desk staff to the breakfast host to the cleaners --- they made our stay fantastic. We brought our large dog with us and received a lovely welcome basket for him and all the staff was lovely to him/us. I would definitely stay here again!

We were passing through the area on the way home from Orlando. Chose this hotel based on the reviews. Check in was a breeze and the rooms were clean. We were given a list of local restaurants and also some coupons. The hot breakfast was great. There was an attendant keeping everything stocked, something I haven't seen since Covid. There were also grab n go bags for those who wanted them. Would definitely stay again.
