There was mold on the walls. Cracks in the walls in the bathroom.. the plug in the tub didn’t work.

The place when you come in is nice but the door was so difficult to open all the time. The room was not clean as it should be the mattress on the bed under covers were brown dirty. The bathroom had hairs of other people who stayed there.. I was not happy with this hotel. My husband and I will not stay there next time..

Parking was fine. The receptionists at the front desk were courteous and helpful.the property inside is rundown once you go beyond the lobby. I’m not from N.C. however, my understanding of room service is the room is cleaned every day. The bed is made every day. Our bed was made one time. The trash was clean two times. The ironing board was disgustingly dirty. The imitation wood floors were bubbling and pulling up. The alarm clock didn’t work and the microwave didn’t work….Besides the girls at the front desk, we should have been paid for our stay. We joked about the name (POOR QUALITY INN) !!!

I never staid, I need my refund

I had to park off site. The valet parking appeared to be great and efficient. Time didn’t allow me to use the pool. Everything appeared to be great. I am just broken hearted about my mother’s ring that I took off while I was laying on the bed. W placed it beside me then forgot about it. I have called several times. Each time I am told house keeping would have items that are left behind but no one has called me back!

Horrible experience. The facility is nothing like the advertised pictures. The hotel rooms are old, extremely dirty and down right nasty. The outer door was falling off the hinges. The floors were fake hard wood that was filthy. The sheets were stained, stunk and kept falling off the mattress cause of how worn out they were. The bathroom shower head looked like it was 30 years old due to how corroded it was. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. The sink faucet handle was broken. The towel rack fell off the wall as soon as you hung a towel up. The couch had what appeared to be blood stains on it. And half of the electrical outlets did not work. We will never stay in a Quality Inn again.

No elevator. Checked into 3 rooms before finding one that had a working air conditioner.

Room was clean. Team was friendly. Could use an update. But that’s just esthetics. We don’t stay to hang out in the hotel. So that didn’t bother me. Everything worked as it should. Hot water pressure is great..

The hotel is an older building. It was fine for needing a place to stay and sleep. They do have a continental breakfast. The staff was nice. It is close to shopping.

Quality Inn is always great for us!

Receptionist nice. No elevator. Breakfast nothing to choose from. No meat at all. No yogurt at all. Had to wait for coffee. Coffee was decent. Only waffle maker. Beds awful old an warn out.

Location was close to where I needed to be. Many broken things, drawers didn’t close, phone was unplugged in another part of the room, it’s clear the cleaning staff paid little attention when turning the room.

Breakfast was waffle and toast That there was a female crackhead hanging out in the lobby upon us arriving asking me if I could get her a room then she went outside and approached my wife asking the same thing then kept going over to two cars hanging in the parking lot and conversing with them, made us very uncomfortable, very sketchy, then there was 2 nights we came home and used the side door to enter the hotel to be greeted by 2 different guys sitting on the stairs leading up to the door drinking beer and smoking only to come out the next morning to step over beer bottles and garbage left behind, refer it as staying at the crack motel in Fuquay

Nothing Ac off in room when checked in, furnoture was all beat up, skecthy people hang around out lobby, bayhroom door did not close due to beong larger than casing, and no towels in room

only bread with jam was part of food, coffee was very watery with no taste, no options for hot food or fruits bed was on metal frame which made noises every time you moved and it was very uncomfortable to sleep

My first issues was I have was that Before I even got to the hotel my card was charged for the first night. Never once did I authorize this charge note did I approve of this. 2. Upon checking in after midnight I was exhausted after driving 7 hours from out of state, and I heard screams from another hotel room and I felt absolutely unsafe and uneasy. I debated on calling 9-1-1 but also I was so in fear for my own life of what might be happening. I had two nights I booked and I was so terrified I left the next day and didn’t come back. I tried explaining this to the hotel staff and she said that since I booked through a 3rd party company there wasn’t anything she could do. I would have to take any issues up with Expedia. So I want a full refund of my hotel stay. The entire reason I had to North Carolina was to say my last goodbyes to my sister who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and instead of my sole focus being on her I had to worry about if I was going to be murdered in my hotel room and be in fear for my life. This is absolutely ridiculous.

The night clerk that checked us in wasn't very friendly. He acted like he didn't want to be there. He answered our questions with mostly one word answers. He didn't greet us and had poor customer relation skills. The rest of the people that manned the desk were very friendly and helpful.

The room was blah but suitable for my needs this visit. Definitely needs some upgrades. Please note that the vending machines are cash only and only 1 of them worked this go-round. Beds are on metal frames and quite noisy if you forget and kick the bottom. If you are looking for a place to lay your head this will suit your needs for your visit.

Our room was ok, we were out a lot visiting family but it was very dated, we had to plug our chargers for our phones into outlets in sconces on opposite side of room from the bed, no place to plug in on end tables on either side of bed and neither of the reading lights attached to headboard worked. The staff was very nice.

Too expensive for what you get, old hotel with weed smelly stairways, the bed frame is sheet metal and breakfast is more than sad, I didn’t eat it. This is more like a 50 dollars hotel.

The bathroom had a moldy shower head, stains on the lamp shades and walls.

The room was clean, quiet. Very friendly staff. The breakfast needed more food variety and quantity. The transactions were very friendly and efficient. This review reflets a replacement room that was granted because the original room of the reservation had 3 issues that made it impossible to stay.

Not much for breakfast and building seems old, dingy and smelly. Changed a light bulb in the bathroom that went out after day one, battery was dead on remote and phone was dead so I couldn't call the front desk. Stains and dirt though out the room. Staff did help as much as possible. Would not stay again

Demolish the entire building and rebuild. When you have roaches, it's a CLEAR SIGN it's time to demo! Everything else about the property also screams year it down. It's an old building, old bathrooms, rusted faucets, tv has no signal, ac cooled room to a muggy 72° and lets not forgot the brown crawling guests that greeted us. Why did I stay you ask?? Other nearby hotels were booked, yes I checked. I was willing to forgo my nonrefundable payment. And yes I did bring it to staff's attention in the morning because of course no one was manning the desk when I returned for the night. So we barely slept waiting for morning. I've never had this experience before in all my life of staying in hotels. I've stayed in modest places before but this was just unacceptable on ALL levels. Run don't walk or just keep driving to another hotel.

The room was hot, over 90 degrees and no air circulation. The room stank like old cigarettes and rotten sperm. I was not about to stay there. I was unable to get a refund and the staff were like “oh we don’t blame you.”

No elevator to 2nd floor, tv not working, unable to connect to the Internet (although all that was needed was my last name and room number; it said my information did not match). They really should have paid me to stay here!

We had bugs in our room. The bathroom wasn’t clean. The towels didn’t look clean. We went to the store and purchased some. The safety bar to help you get in and out of the shower wasn’t attached to the wall. The dresser drawer would not stay closed. The beds were not attached to headboard. They would move when we got up and sat down. The hallway smelled like weed. The locks on the door were sketchy.

The hotel was smelly. The Room was uninviting bathroom and room looked like it was out of the 80's. I will never use a Choice Inn again.

Badly maintained h(m)otel, can do better

When I check in the extra security bar at the top was broken so I changed rooms right away because I didn’t feel comfortable. The hotel advertised a pool and in room safe. There was no pool to use and there was no safe in the room. The microwave did not work. The linens had toothpaste and make up as well as the towels and washcloths. And the coffee packets for the Brewer in the room were previously opened and scotch tape closed. There is a broken tile in the bathroom that kept falling off and had mold behind it. Doors slam loudly. Deceptive ad.

My first stay was great, the second stay was questionable. The problem I had was the front desk clerk made my boyfriend a key just because he told the lady at the front desk his wife must have fallen asleep, and I wasn’t answering my phone. Made the key without calling the room, or asking for proper identification. We do not have the same last name. Safety was an issue for me.

I did not like that the quality inn does not have an elevator to get me and my luggage to the second floor hotel rooms.

In need or remodeling and more cleaning

Breakfast was poor. Choice of: white bread, butter, jam, waffles and syrup, coffee, juice and a small citrus fruit. Absolutely no protein - no eggs, no cheese etc.

I mean i was here for less than 24hrs for a wedding and the city didn't offer much accommodation so we had no choice. But this hotel was old and dirty our pillows had hair everywhere it just wasn't a great experience

The room itself was in rough shape. The lights barely worked, flickering on and off or not turning on at all, making it hard to feel settled. The TV remote was either broken or just barely functioning, which was frustrating when trying to relax. To top it off, the paint was peeling in multiple areas, giving the room a neglected, run-down feel. Overall, this place seriously needs some upkeep. Between the bad smell, poor lighting, and general disrepair, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they make major improvements.

Cheapest, closest place to stay at $152 total a night. People up yelling and babies and kids crying or running up and down the hall all night off and on. Comfy mattress. Loud fridge. Rusty microwave with a mismatched carousel that wouldn’t turn. I could go on but…

Where do I start ? Dirty room, chipping stucco , towel on floor behind toilet, lights not working, woke up to a cockroach walking across my toothbrush . Oh and to top it off I decided to take a look at the breakfast offerings, some slices of break and grape jelly, a glass jar with dry corn flakes ( no scoop use your hands I guess) I saw a waffle maker but no batter . Now the positive:Desk staff was friendly & sheets appeared clean , would make a great $40.00 a night stay .

The people were very nice, rooms clean, bed wasnt great wasnt the worst, pillows were nice, but the rooms walls were very thin. Could hear everyone talking, walking, and getting ice.

Staffe is very nice

I was very thankful that they were not housing the homeless, as I had encountered with my stay at Woodspring last year. The facility was neat, rooms could have been cleaned better. There was a think layer of dust behind furniture and very moldy eat cushions on the chairs. Some furniture and water fixtures could be updated. Bed was clean.

RUN FAR AND FAST AWAY! This place is horrible. The room smelled like mildew. Room was very hot when we checked in, AC did not work well. It took hours to get cold. The floor was dirty, there were items from previous people left in room. There were used Pasties that someone placed on lamps between the beds.

It is a very old property and the upkeep is poor. The furniture in our room was old and the sofa soiled. The bed was clean and comfortable, or we would have left.

The breakfast didn't have many options and the rooms weren't very clean. We have two children and when they were playing in the room there socks were black from the floors.

Property is old and dated. It was clean and in an ok area but pool was closed i got the feeling that the owners are cost cutting. It is decent value. I would prefer not to stay there again but if nothing else is available or too expensive i would stay there but it is not my first choice

Picnic table with grill available. Very disappointed that pool was NOT open and running. Visit was after Memorial Day. Exercise equipment barely functional. Room too warm, even with air conditioner on high to use to work out.

Cons: Building needs lots of repairs. Our room had a bathroom door that wouldn't shut, a dresser drawer that would slide itself open over time, and a microwave that had to be moved and plugged in before every use.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Every part of it was disgusting. No elevator, and the hallways even look suspicious. The room was disgusting. Dust and dirt everywhere, actual hair on the bed sheets, blood on the walls in more than one spot. I showed pictures to the manager the next day and tried to get money back for the night we spent and she said we couldn’t because we went through a third party app. I argued briefly but eventually just accepted that I could get my money back for the other 3 nights and left. It was all around disgusting and downright terrifying. There were bangs of doors and such all night and we struggled to even sleep. I hope it gets better but for now, avoid at all costs.

Clean and comfortable!

Very basic hotel. Would have thought you could at least get yogurt or fruit but the only breakfast items offered were cereal or waffle. We were disappointed.

Hotel is old, cracks in walls. Floor was dirty. Bed was very loud every time you moved and this morning roaches.

Room was okay, bed was comfortable, seemed clean besides under the pull out couch (crumb and dust galore), hairdryer in our room did not work, coffee machine in the room was not usable because it had missing an essential piece from it. Self serve breakfast (coffee, cereal and waffle making station) was a okay first couple morning, self made waffles actually were good. Last morning we had no luck getting breakfast after attempting twice, it was either out of regular coffee, then cups, then waffle batter...getting breakfast at the hotel did not seem in the cards that morning, so we drove couple minutes down the street.

Very clean rooms and convenient location

If you're in need of a place to sleep and shower this will do. Otherwise it is in desperate need of renovations. Be aware there is no elevator. The TV would periodically go blank having to be unplugged and replugged to correct till the next time. Microwave carosel does not turn. A wall light was somewhat falling off. Was barely in the room so these things were not worth mentioning but for the price I had hoped for a functioning room that wasn't in need of repairs. All laminent flooring in rooms and hallways so expect a lot of residual noise.

The rooms had metal frames that the mattress sat on. Every time you would get out of bed it made a loud noise. The air conditioner did not get cold. We asked the staff for a receipt and they refused to give one to use. They state to get it from Expedia.

Stayed here several years ago. Liked the location and price. A lot has changed. Hotel is very dated and run down. Furniture in room all banged up, paint chipping,.old dining table repurposed for room, Bathroom ceiling has tiles that were all wonky. I specifically asked for a quiet room but for the opposite. Behind hotel there is construction.amd my room.view was of overgrowth and rocks, and a bulldozer. Someone kept letting office door swing shut, which slammed loudly all night long. What is up with all the trash and old furniture stores "hoarders style" in the "meeting room"? Looks like a fire hazard to me. Then I love all the noise coming from the laundry room across from my door. Thanks dude for the quiet room. Never staying here again.

Visiting friends in the area, I picked this hotel because it was in the same town and they advertised they had a pool. The room was dirty. I found dirty used eating utensils in one of the dresser drawers. I saw what was possibly a roach in our room on day 2. They never opened the pool all summer and had no intentions of opening it for the rest of the summer. It's false advertising and they should remove it from their website because it was literally the only reason why we chose that hotel.

Hallways smelled of smoke, beds were hard as rock

It was appalling how dirty the room was. The first thing noticed was that the room stunk. I have no idea what the smell was, but it was overwhelming. In the bathroom the bathtub had stains and streaks coming down off the fixtures. The floor had dirt on it and in all the corners. The AC was literally held together by duct tape and it did not work very well at all. The lamp shades had cracks and chunks taken out of them. It was a real treat when the couple several rooms down the hall had a very loud fight that sounded like they were not just screaming at one another but beating the heck out of one another. It was even more disconcerting when walking down the hallway to go outside that the large male in the room opened the door and glared. Just absolutely disgusting

They need to be shutdown permanently. Looks as if they got all the furniture of the streets. It’s hot in the building, no elevator, fridge is disgusting inside of it. Never will I ever stay there again. Negative 100 stars

Floor needed to be vacuumed, several lamps not working, and the continental breakfast consisted of two kinds of dry cereal and waffles. The waffle maker was not able to be used since there were waffle pieces stuck to both sides and there was no one to take care of it. In general, the property did not seem to be well maintained.

It was ok for the price

The hotel staff was really sweet they had breakfast every morning in the lobby. My only complaint was that our fridge didn’t work in our room despite it being plugged in. The ice machine was also broken on the last day we were there. But they were so nice to help us any time we needed it would absolutely stay there again!

From the moment i pulled in, i thought, "i paid $130 for this?" If it had not been too late to cancel, i would have. They still have plexiglass over the counters like its 2020, no elevater, and the AC is crap. I didnt bother reporting it because when i told the guy at the desk that the drink machine took my dollar, he basically said it wasnt his problem. I figure if he cant replace a dollar that his machine stole from me, how is he supposed to do anything about a crappy AC unit that barely kept the room below 80 in fricken March. If i had payed $60, i woulnt have expected anything more, but for $130 i thought i was getting a descent room. NOPE! its the worst of both worlds. An expensive dump. Literally go anywhere else!

It was not accommodating my emergency situation where I could not cancel booking by 3 and didn't even to what's it. Strict hotel policy loses a valuable customers.

This was a perfectly lovely place to stay for my brief visit. I would definitely stay there again.

Very light and limited breakfast. No Muffins, bread or bagels. Ran out of cereal and Waffle batter. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
